I paid Inventurex $*** and they did not produce a product or service.

Disclaimer: Before I begin explaining my experience with Inventurex, I want to make it clear, my claims are 100% accurate. I have e-mails; call logs, bank deposits, and photographs of the "work" provided by Inventurex. In my 15 years in business spanning across several industries, I have never had a worse experience than my dealings with Inventurex. For those who do not want to read my experience in its entirety I will give you a summary in the paragraph below. For those who want the entire story please begin reading from paragraph 3. Lastly, please share this information with as many people as you know. Companies like Inventurex can greatly affect the livelihoods of many hard working aspiring business men and business women. Preventing companies like Inventurex from ruining a dream before it begins will allow many to flourish.

8 missed crowd funding launch dates! 6/8 missed dates were never explained to me in regards to why we missed them. In fact, I was not contacted a full week after most of these missed launch dates. I had to contact them. To add insult to injury, my calls and e-mails still went unanswered. I had to go to their office, located in Hollywood, where I presented my name and the reason for my visit. No one came down to greet me. This happened twice. When I called the office to ask why I was not greeted a receptionist by the name of *** stated, "they are here but they do not want to talk to you. They told me, ***, handle it!" Feeling bad for *** I said ok can you put me in contact with someone other than *** or ***? She said "No!" and hung up in my face. I never said a negative word to her. I never raised my voice. I figured it would do me no good. I guess it did not matter. In regards to the other 2 launch dates missed I was informed they had not completed the work because "they are swamped." There were 23 exchanged-mails between Inventurex and myself before they received all of the information requested from me. All e-mails were answered in a timely fashion on both sides; however, once they received the $*** payment and all information needed, they stopped responding to me. Over 50 e-mails and call were made with no answer in return. My calls were only returned once I started posting negative reviews on Facebook and consumer reports. My lawyer advised me to try and make this work because their agreement requires you to spend several thousand dollars on an arbitrator of their choice essentially making it too costly to sue them for the amount of money paid. One of the items presented as work was an infographic with a real life politician, unbelievable! I am not saying they should or should not support Hilary Clinton I just believe they should not force political views at my projects expense. Excluding the fact that I paid an actor to be the "president" in my project. And oh by the way they had the video and pictures of this particular actress but still decided to push their Hilary Clinton agenda on my project. I paid them $*** for their alleged "book of business" as well as other services. This book of business boiled down to Facebook ads that anyone can boost for $5, monthly subscriptions to post articles on sites/blogs no one reads for $15 a month." I know because they sent me the link and I took the liberty to look up the prices myself. Lastly, after replacing all the incomplete work and starting the launch I realized the majority if not all of my backers came from my family. I looked at the social media service they provide for $495 a month only to realize my crowd funding campaign was never posted on all 3 social media networks! I contacted the person in charge of the social media and was told that Inventurex never informed them that we even started a campaign. I have requested a refund several times with no answer.

Desired Outcome

I want a refund.

Crowdfund Rescue Response • Dec 02, 2019

The client approved all the content created for his project including the project promotions, project page, and two separate videos created for this video game campaign. Despite initial hurdles with bringing this video game concept to life, the client agreed to continue with the launch. The project was not successful despite raising tens of thousands of dollars from our marketing efforts. The client was given the option to re-launch the project but instead is demanding a refund of all the work done for his project. The client knows that there is no refund policy on the services already completed but is making threats to get around our refund policy. We are happy to discuss a way to move forward and help his project but basically he wants all the work completed for free and for us to send him money which as a small company we cannot afford to do.

Inventurex is flat out lying. I have e-mails to prove it.
1. I did approve of the "concept" of the work. Before the launch I expressed concern about the concept being fine but the work was not complete. The page even said "this is not the final edit." When I inquired about this I received no response. One of Inventurex's very own employees agreed the work provided was bad and suggested I get the work done through another party. I was even assisted by this employee. I have proof of that as well.
2. They did not raise "tens of thousands of dollars." I also have proof of that. Furthermore I raised 95% of the *** I know this to be true because the people who donated were family members.
3. Correction. I do not want any work completed by Inventurex they have shown to be fraudulent and incompetent. The work was not done. I want to reiterate I have proof of all claims.
4. I have made no threats to Inventurex. I have only stated I want a refund and that I will share my experience. Not a threat. Its called the truth.
5. Revdex.com Inventurex is a fraud. I have found over 40 people they have scammed recently. They do not intend to help resolve the issue. I submitted my review on another site and their response was they contacted me to resolve the issue. Once again not true. I am willing to speak to any media regarding my experience. Everything I say can be backed up with proof.

Thank you

Resolved per consumer's contact to Revdex.comNow.

Filing a complaint against InventureX. They were to run(market/advertise)a crowdfunding campaign. They haven't done so as both campaigns are failures.
I paid $*** to InventureX Company on February 11, 2019 to run a crowdfunding campaign. Their job was to create a kick starter page, market & advertise the campaign. The first attempt was last March 21, 2019 and was set at $***. The campaign failed to reach $***. They were obligated to re-run the campaign again at no additional expense. This new campaign launched on September 3rd to raise $***. The campaign is doing horribly and just over $***. I have requested several times by phone and in writing for "where and how" they are allegedly advertising and marketing this campaign. *** and *** have refused to provide this information to me. I hired *** of Convex Legal to write to them asking for this information or a refund. That was 3 days ago, they are ignoring us both and letting this campaign fail again. I want my money back and will file in small claims court next.

Desired Outcome

I am seeking a refund of the amount I have paid to InventureX in the amount of $

Our agency has worked with *** for several months to help him promote his new film. He approved all the work and was pleased up until now. The first project raised over $*** from our marketing (but still short of his desired sales level). We launched a second marketing campaign FREE of charge to help him. Unfortunately his target audience is not supporting his project to the level of sales that he wants. The client has now threatened us saying that we need to get his film 27k more sales in the next 12 days or else he will write bad things about our staff online. However, we cannot guarantee how many sales his film will get. We were forced to discontinue working with the client until he can have a normal, professional working relationship.

I have reviewed the response from the company I hired, InventureX and completely disagree with their answer and is completely unsatisfactory.

What they neglected to mention is that the first round of crowdfunding money we raised ALL went back to the donors because unfortunately they did not hit our target goal so I received not one cent from that campaign.

They also didn't mention that they were obligated by contract to re-run the campaign free of charge if they did not hit the target goal in the first campaign.

I'm still lodging my complaint and seeking my money back.

This is a company that boasts funding thousands of crowdfunding campaign's and failed me twice by not advertising and promoting the campaign despite me asking them numerous times for a list of where and how they have been marketing and advertising and receiving None!

Please let me know what else needs to be done on my end.

Unfortunately the film project was not a success with crowdfunders. Despite us raising tens of thousands of dollars across the two projects, the film required a higher sales figure to be successful. As we explained multiple times, we can not guarantee that this film project would raise a certain dollar amount from our marketing or from backers. No agency has a 100% success rate when launching new ideas so not everyone will be 100% happy, but our team always puts in 100% effort.

(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
I am beyond appalled with this group's indifference, lack of respect and integrity towards me. I'll be proceeding with my complaint with this company. Their website and sales people boast running thousands of successful crowdfunding campaigns. They also stated that they've successfully funded film projects.

Regarding their comment about raising tens of thousands of dollars? In the first campaign they helped raise a little over $***, my family and friends raised the remaining $*** however by not hitting our set goal of $***, we were not allowed to keep even one penny of the money raised!

The reality that they are not owning up to is that there was very little marketing effort on their part on the first crowdfunding campaign. With the second campaign, the company did even less advertising and marketing. I realized immediately that we weren't getting sufficient traffic to the Kickstarter page and I asked *** and *** several times in emails and verbally for a report of where and how they were advertising this campaign. They declined to share this information with both myself and my attorney.

The second campaign didn't reach $*** of a $*** goal and the traffic to the Kickstarter page was a dismal *** people. More than half of the people and most of the money raised were brought by myself and through my team's advertising efforts.

Our project is marketable, and last April I received a Letter of Intention to distribute the film Worldwide, upon the film's completion from Glasshouse Distribution with financial projections for the film up to $***.

Additionally, we also had *** views for our teaser on Instagram which further confirms that there is interest in our project.
It's not a matter of people not liking our movie but rather this company NOT doing their job marketing and advertising the campaign as promised.

I paid this company $*** and twice they failed to bring traffic to the page this was their only job. The company never told me the campaign needed a higher sales figure? They stated $***-$*** should be the range we set for the campaign.

This is a very dishonest group of individuals that have taken my hard earned money and all I have are two failed campaigns to show for it, and certainly no money from either.

With the first campaign failing, investors were turned off with us and now with this second failed campaign we are again running into issues with investors that are reluctant because of now TWO failed crowdfunding campaigns. They're judging the project based on this company's campaign failures which is unfair to us and should not reflect poorly on our project.

We will further be filing a lawsuit in small claims court to reclaim my $***.

I am just beside myself. I trusted this company InventureX with my savings and they horribly failed 2 crowdfunding campaigns for my movie project. Because of this we're having issues with Investors. The issue is that they're looking at 2 failed crowdfunding campaigns rather than a great movie project despite having a letter of Intent for Distribution with a Distributor.
