CSG called me on 2/13/18 to describe and offer me a credit card service of a balance transfer to a new card I had applied for. For a fee of $900 they said they would provide a 0% interest charged on a balance transfer for 18 to 21 months. On the phone I said I would be interested. I received approval of my new credit card, (Citi Simplicity Card) from Citibank on 2/14/18, This new card was procured by me directly from Citibank, with no involvement by CSG. I received the new card and activated it on 2/22/18. I further inquired, received and agreed to their balance transfer terms for a fee of $213, which would accept my transferred balance of $7113 from my TD Visa card, for a 0% rate for a period of18 months.

CSG called and claimed I am liable to them for a $900 fee which they claimed I accepted in our phone conversation. I did not agree to this, and they did not perform any service in the transaction. They have called me on 2/22/18, and threatened to report me to the Credit Bureau as "uncollected", and "red flag" my credit report unless I paid CSG the $900 fee mentioned above. They actually did not perform any service to me but claim I owe them the above mentioned $900 fee which was only discussed in our phone conversation.

I have had the same scenario with this company, they just want to sign you up for a bunch of credit cards and I immediately cancelled and now they are saying I will go to collections. Is this real? Did someone actually get sent to collections for not taking the services? o

This company called me at 730 in the morning saying that they were calling from my VISA credit card. When asked how they got my number, they said that it was through ***. Said my credit history made afforded me a lower interest rate on my card.
When asked for their company information, "Christopher S" , badge # ***, (very "Anglo" name for a man with a heavy Bengali accent ( have close friends from Bangladesh), was aggressive in telling me that he would not ask for my password or personal information.
He asked for the expiration on my card, "I don't have it", then said I could use any card... interesting?
Offered to give him the last 4 digits but he said he needed the entire number. I said that I wouldn't give him the number without getting the website of his company . He stalled by saying that he could understand my hesitation because there's a lot of bad things happening; the FTC is monitoring this call.
I repeated my request. After the third or fourth time he then spit out the name, but it took several times as he would not articulate the letters.
When I asked how they make money off of this program, they said off the interest . I asked how that was possible if they were lowering the APR and he became aggressive again telling me that I was wasting my time and that I should hang up.
I asked to speak with his manager who eventually came on the call. He then tried to convince me that this was a safe. I asked how they made money, "through interest rates and at no cost to you". I asked the same question three different ways and was finally told that they transfer the balance to a different card entirely different card with a 0% APR but apply a one time fee.
Perhaps he was truthful but I felt every kind of alarm going off in my head.

Called several times soliciting personal information, including social security number and credit card information and threatened to place a collection claim on me and sue me for money. Scam artists all the way.

Company gave me misleading information and will not let me cancel services.
CSG has called multiple times. Edward R gave me misleading interest information on 1/10/18. Then David H misled me telling me they would "work with" different banks for a lower interest rate. They actually opened multiple credit cards in my name. When I discovered this and tried to cancel they threatened me with collections to get their money when they had not performed any services for me. I spoke to John H as a supervisor to let him know. I've cancelled all cards they opened in my name. I've alerted my credit card and my bank about them trying to charge me. They were good at misinformation and pushy tactics. They did not tell me they would open multiple credit cards in my name.

No services provided. Company demanding payment even though cancellation requested.
I received a phone call on Nov 25, 2017 about lowering interest rates on my credit card. The representative was confusing when explaining what would happen. After speaking with my son, I did not want to go through with the agreement, so I sent an email cancellation and written cancellation by certified mail which the company received. I never received any money into my bank account, and my interest rate on my credit card is still the same. I have received calls from CSG demanding $4200 in fees, and they will send me to collections and put a lien on my house if I don't pay.

I received numerous calls from Carlos R. When I told him was not interested after receiving documents. He replied I would be turned over to a collections agency. Guess I need a lawyer.

Nasty calls from "billing" person Carrie E threatening to submit me to collections for services that were NEVER done.
Months ago I inquired about getting lower interest rate on my credit cards. I decided that this was not what I wanted to do and that was all we did. A few months later on 11-17-2017 a Carrie E called be from the "billing" department and threatened me with collections action. Was told different totals that were owed during the call and when I became upset about this and asked to speak to someone else she told me No and I was stuck with her and not to speak to her in that tone. My daughter is my POA and she tried to call and was told that she was to get proof to her in order to go over account details. (she was rude to my daughter also) Then again on 11-21-17 Carrie E called me to threaten me again with collections she was once again very rude to me. Told me again when I asked to speak to someone else told me that once again not to Bh about the situation and she was the one I had to speak to. I am just trying to get by and wanted help with debt but this is a SCAM!!!!!!!!!!

My mother received a phone call solicitation from CSG because she entered her cell phone number online to get information on consolidating her credit cards. I quickly advised her that if there is a fee then it is not interest free, they are charging the interest upfront and she can request 0% directly from the credit card company with no fees. She called CSG back to cancel within the hour and they told her it was not possible because she already committed. She asked to speak to a supervisor and the representative said they were the supervisor. She asked for the company name and they would not release the information. I called in from a land line and they answered credit card services. I asked which bank I was calling and the line got disconnected. I thought maybe it was a bad connection so I called again and my number was blocked. I tried to call from my cell phone and the exact same thing happened again. They promised a card from Citi bank and one from Discover. So we called both institutions and no applications were submitted. We waited one week and called back to the credit card companies and still no applications. We thought we were out of the woods. However, my mother checks her credit scores every month and there were 2 collections the following month for $1200 each. We are still contesting the transactions and it has been 2 months.

This company has called me repeatedly over the last several months, and they will not honor my request to put me on their do not contact list. My phone number is on the FTC National Do Not Call Registry. I have filed numerous complaints via the FTC website. Today, the company used profanity when I would not give them my credit card information over the phone.

The caller said they represent Visa and Mastercard Cardmember Services. Rep name: David M, ***, JOB ID, gave me number 800-847-2911 to call back. Rep confirmed contact as Mr. Vincent C, Manager of CSG Solutions Services, LLC

The representative got very angry with me for not giving him private information and began using profanity on the phone line. The representative stated, "Suck my ***." repeatedly. At that point, I put the call on speaker phone and my co-workers heard him say, "Go back to your mama's *** where you came from." The representative then disconnected the call.
