Complaint: ***
I am rejecting this response because: I had already told Brian the owner that there was a problem with the transmission, NOT the fluid, I already had the fluids checked and oil change done prior to any of the issues startingI gave them a detailed list of things to look over, they failed to do soI have a picture of the odometer before and after drop offThey did not test drive it like I was told and did not make any effort to fix other issues listed on the paper I gave them when I dropped my vehicle off He deliberately sold me a bad vehicle as well as many others, and he knows it! I also got a harassing phone call from brian days after I had called back to explain to him other thing needed fixing, also was thretened by him as wellI have a police report and a call log from that day as well.
Sincerely,

I am rejecting this response because: They have fabricated a lot of details in the responseAs soon as the oil light came on and the car started decelerating I had no choice but to pull over RIGHT THEN AND THERE! I DID NOT continue to drive itI am also months pregnantI do NOT smokeAs far the *** is concerned I was told on Saturday when they called it was to be ready to go on Tuesday and I was advised by *** to call Tuesday morning to go and look at it and get itI called Tuesday morning only to be told that the *** was not thereI am willing to go and get the *** as compensation provided that it is running condition and nothing seriously mechanically wrong As far as the dodge goes the tow company is the one delaying on having it brought thereAttached is the fire report I have obtained from the *** *** Fire deptyou will notice that it had NOTHING to do with smoking or driving it further than should of.

[redacted] before you called us to let us know you were having issues, you immediately jumped on Google and wrote a nasty review. IN reply, we told you to contact us so that we could try to help you. Your husband called, saying the Jeep had overheated, so we told him to find a way to get it to us, and...
that we would look at it free of charge. The next day, we received a call saying it was left on the side of the highway. At that point, the manager asked why would you drive the overheating vehicle a second time? Not only was it driven the day after it originally overheated, [redacted] is over 20 minutes from [redacted] It is not our responsibility to pay for towing for a vehicle you drove after claiming it was overheating. Common sense would've come a long way in this situation. The only reason it has come to a Revdex.com Complaint, is because our manager told you to call us for help on your initial bad review. We have been consistently trying to help, but you drove it that next day, overheated it, and abandoned it on the road. That is by no means our responsibility. Considering that you no longer own the vehicle and the towing company does, we will NOT be giving you a refund on your AS-IS vehicle. Have a nice day. - CT Car Co LLC
The [redacted] that [redacted] purchased on 11-06-17, Not in October, had passed CT State Emissions testing. Vehicles with bad transmissions generally have transmission codes, causing a check engine light, which would not have let it pass. At the time of sale, there was no mention of an...
exhaust leak. Also, a muffler breaking would not cause the internal reverse gear to stop working. We have had NO contact with [redacted] since the vehicle was purchased, and she has never asked for help fixing and/or diagnosing any issues with it. She paid $1888 before taxes and fees so we are also unsure as to why she is requesting $2700. The vehicle was purchased "AS-IS", which is the CT State Law. Although we do not have to, we do look at customers cars free of charge. We recommend that [redacted] gets off the computer and gives us a call. Thank You.

I am rejecting this response because: I was never told to bring the vehicle in, what I was told was that I bought it as is I am home sick and you are bothering me if you think I am going to fix the vehicle, you are barking up the wrong tree. At that point, We hung up the phone. However, If they had done the maintenance that should be done on any vehicle sold by a dealer the SUV would not have died within 10 miles of driving it. They would have known the water pump was no good, both ball joints in the front are bad, the right front bearing needs work, the left fog light does not work nor does the plate lights. The thermostat also did not work and there was no anti-freeze in the vehicle. I have already paid 500.00 in repairs just to get the truck running and I still need to pay another 400.00 for the rest of the work. I have the receipt for the 500.00 and I have the failed inspection notice. My mechanic stated that to have the ball joints replaced, the right front bearing fixed, the fog light replaced and the plate lights replaced plus labor would be an additional $400.00. This work needs to be done before the vehicle can pass the safety inspection. I do not think it is fair that they sale cars that are not checked and hold no responsibility for what they sale. Even if the car has over 200,000 miles they deemed it to be sale-able to their customers. No one buys a vehicle and expects it to run for less than a day, especially from a dealer,
Sincerely,
[redacted]
This business is a scam. Sold me a car knowing it was a lemon. I got maybe 2 miles from my house and my engine light came on. Was told by another mechanic that most likely it been on and they /the dealer just turned it off temporary with their machines. 2 weeks late I go to register it. When going for inspection I find out the whole entire sub frame and radiator frame was rotted out. So they literally let me drive off the lot knowing there was NO radiator support .meaning the radiator and more could have fell out on me! That same day my muffler snaped. Spent a lil over a thousand dollars for a 97 nissian altima that was completely trash! Don't ever go there. Stay away

this vehicle had a [redacted] inspection sticker valve cover was never replaced and vehicle engine seized one day after purechase not allowing vehicle to be brought anby where if people value their life avoid this dealer at all costs . I have also made a complaint with the attorney generals office of ct as this business provides the same generic response about the ct lemon law which does not protect any one but shady car dealer like this - this didn't pass any ct test because it was both from a new car dealer that took it as a trade in and then sells these death traps to unsuspecting people like my self. This is blatent case of fraud and false advertising because it states on their website they sell affordable and reliable vehicles under 3000 but the fact is their was not one safe or reliable vehicle 0on this dealers lot. I will fight this to the president of the united states if that's what it takes because some one will die if these people continue to sell dangerous vehicles to people. This business s has 4 similar complaints to mine. This dealer did not change any valve cover gasket as engine was still covered in oil and no bolts had been removed I now have a dead vehicle in my driveway and have to wait for a title to junk this vehicle as it is dead and probably a death trap in more ways then we could imagine. if this person was a respectable business person they would at least refund my 988 no matter what fee they say that includes. if you value yours and other peoples lives do not go here - spend your money on lottery tickets because you will have better luckl like I wish this dealer when he sells some one a car with bad brakes
vehicle can not be brought any where as it does not run dealer did not offer to repair at his cost including towing and due to my loss I had to scap this vehicle which [redacted] ma's driver informed me it was likely tranny was shot as well. I did post negative ads on craigs list about his business practices warning consumers not to deal with this business and he flagged them he also blatently screamed at my wife on the telephone something along the lines of game on and white trash, which is quite childish and my wife was scared that this dealer was going to do something threating which technically that yelling at some loudly and saying u will call every day their house because u complained is a little much on the part of any business. This dealer has also not produced a receipt dated 2/7/14 for a valve cover nor an emissions report which according to a zoning hearing with the town of [redacted] ct this dealer is not certified to perform emissions testing. I have not spoke with this dealer at all personally as I will not subject myself to his childish behavior and his only recourse of action is to refund my $988 for a so called affordable and reliable vehicle(according to his own advertising) which the engine seized exactly one day after purchase. I will be speaking with the ct dmv rep tomorrow and I will also be speaking soon with the ct attorney generals office because false advertising is not acceptable to me as a consumer or as a business owner. If I operated my own business which in the manner this individual does I would have been out of business 6 months or less after I started it. What is the point in starting a car dealer if your only purpose is to screw over consumers.

Customer purchased 2002 [redacted] Durango with over 200,000 miles for less than $2000. Car was purchased AS-IS per CT state law. Customer failed to present vehicle to our licensed repair facility for diagnosis or even provide us with any documentation. Tried to resolve matter and customer became...
abusive.
Customer purchased 22 year old 1992 [redacted] Cherokee for sale price of $759 plus dealer conveyance fees for grand total of $988. Customer is resident of MA and purchased vehicle from out of state CT licensed dealer. As we are a CT licensed dealer we do not have, nor are we required...
to have a MA DOR #. We do of course have a Federal EIN number, not that I see any reason the customer would have a need for this, but he did not ask for it either. We also do have a CT sales tax permit. This did not cause any problems with the registration of the vehicle as it was successfully registered. Vehicle was purchased AS-IS, no warranty per CT state law as clearly stated on all paperwork signed by customer. Vehicle was CT emissions tested, road tested and serviced. Customer requested valve cover gasket to be replaced before delivery, which was done free of charge. There were no problems with any sensors as they were chacked as part of CT emissions test. This is our first time hearing of any problems with vehicle, weeks after purchase. Vehicle has never been brought to us in order to be serviced or looked over. Customer only sends rude emails full of accusations and name calling. Customer will not return phone calls. Customer demands are ridiculous, asking for over twice amount paid for vehicle. Customer has refused any communication, making a resolution impossible.
I m including pictures that show obviously the valve cover was never removed because when replacing a valve cover a quality mechanic would take the time to clean it and the bolts to prevent further damage or the possibility of damage - if this dealer put this vehicle on his diagnostic machine why is there no print out stating it passed cts emission test . also if he checked all sensors he would have noticed the oil pressure sensor was bad and in removing the valve cover this would have been knocked off. If he change the valve cover he would have a receipt from the store purchased with the date 02/07/2014 - I would ask this be provided as well to prove he changed it. I will also be sending a report from my neighborhood mechanic about issues with this vehicle. I am also going to file a complaint with the ct dmv for bad dealer practices. I would be more than happy to have at least my $988 dollars returned by cash as I paid and that would resolve my issue totally. This dealer would need to either [redacted] me the funds or deliver the funds to a public location in my town as I had to travel to him. This is a fair an honest complaint and the resolution is simple. My main concer first and foremost is this dealers practices can lead to some ones death or injury even an unsuspecting motorist he may be hit by bad vehicles this dealer sells. I think it would be noble and this business would do whats right. I really hope this doesn't happen to any one but im sure when it does some one will file a wrong full death suit against them. Refunding my purchase price is a much nobler option. In my opinion this bsuinesses rating should be an f

Subject: complaint number [redacted]
Hello this email is in regards to ct car co llc and my complaint number of [redacted]
After filing a complaint against ct car co llc they have been calling my wife and harassing her and threatening to write bad publicity adds about my own company. I did post an add on craigslist warning consumers to not use his business because he sells bad vehicles and I am not going to accept harassment and items such as this especially to haras my wife - I don't care if he bad mouths my business because our reputation speaks for itself. I do have a problem with [redacted] harassing my wife and threating to call my home every day because that is a big problem. You might want to inform him that retaliating about a complaint is against the law and I will have him arrested or what ever it takes to stop him from harassing my family.

[redacted]This business needs to be investigated by ALL applicable authorities. It appears to be a front for some kind of criminal enterprise, who has repeatedly threatened me with physical violence, saying, "I'll see what happens to people who run their mouths.", when contacting me by phone for making these complaints to Revdex.com. The car they bought AS SCRAP for $100 was, the next day on the lot marked for $1500. The vehicle could not, and will not, according to the state of [redacted], be legal to register again. This CRIMINAL ENTERPRISE is a blight against the good people of our state, and I intend to see it shut down. I have contacted the appropriate, town, state, and federal authorities regarding the threats, and implore the Revdex.com to stop this business from hurting anyone else.
Revdex.com:
I have not been contacted by the company nor have my issues been resolved.
Sincerely,

I bought an 02 [redacted] for a price I couldn't refuse and its the best truck in the world. Customers service was great and the prices are fantastic. I would recommend everyone I known who is looking for a used car to check these guys out.
Your reason for not purchasing the $900 1998 [redacted] was due to an imperfection in the sound quality of the rear speakers, nothing that would prevent a reasonable person from following through with sale. No lies were told. We are however more than glad to refund your $100 deposit. As per our phone...
converstaion, please by all means come back up for a full refund in person. I cannot speak on behalf of [redacted] as to their method of returning charges but it is out of our hands at this point. I would be more than glad to write you a check and fully reimburse you if you would like to return. We are certainly not giving anyone the run around. Come up any of the 7 days a week we are open for your check. Thanks - CT Car Co LLC
Vehicle was purchased 2/21/2015 for a purchase price of $1550. Vehicle was purchased As-Is no warranty as was clearly expressed on all sale documents in accordance with state law. Car was fully safety checked and ** emissions tested before sale. Customer has never presented vehicle to us for service...
or called for an appointment. We would have been willing to work on the car as we offer for all our customers as we stand behind our vehicles, but this customer took to writing slanderous reviews all over the internet instead. Car was sold 6 months ago. The problems described here sound more like regular maintenance and wear items that one should expect to encounter when owning a 13 year old high mileage foreign car over an extended period of time. There are certainly no safety issues present.
