The delivery service has been completely unacceptable. For the last two orders, the delivery has taken nearly three weeks. I made the last delivery request on 10/10/2019 at 4:30PM and was advised that the salt would be delivered within five (5) business days. I phoned Culligan again on 10/22/2019 because the salt had not been delivered. The representative I spoke with stated that she could see the order in the system, but could not understand why the order had not been delivered. She repeated this at least three times. I asked for a supervisor or manager and was advised that he was not availalable, but she would leave a message for him.
As of 10/27/2019 I have not received a return call, nor has the salt been delivered.
Our city requires an inspection annually and I do not see how this unit would ever past inspection.
Absoultely horrible service and I would like to have this equipment removed from my home.

Culligan water softeners are great products when they work I purchased one in April of It stopped working in October But the real issue is timely service I called to request repairs on Nov9, and they could not get a repairman out to Plano until Nov23rd After spending about minutes replacing a part, they softener still does not work I called to request service again on Novand they cannot get a repairman out until Dec I find it problematic that is takes weeks to get a technician to provide service

I had a sales agent come to my home, I bought a reverse osmosis unit for my kitchen. I was told someone would come install my RO system the following Tuesday (Aug. 27) I asked that they call my cell phone to tell me when they would be here. They show up (having called my husband who didn't get the message) we had to reschedule. When they did not come to install the devise on that day I called and was told the work order was never placed on the their schedule. Again the next time we scheduled they did not show up and we had to reschedule. Today, the 4th time we have been expecting installation of the product we have paid for, they say it can not be installed because it is too late and they would not be done during their service hours.

Issue has been resolved.

The lady who came to test our water was professional & very educational. She explained how the system would function based on our water sample, without "pushing" a system on us. That was refreshing.

The install people were also very professional & considerate of our lawn & yard.

We did encounter an issue after we purchased the system. We contacted the GM (Rick) and he was very accommodating to us & our schedule. The issue was quickly resolved & it exceeded our expectations !

Culligan is a good company who stands behind their products and workmanship.

Sales person used fear mongering to talk us into paying an absurd amount of money for a product that does not do at all what he stated it would do.
On 3/22/19 sales person Kyle Bratton sold me a water filtering system by using fear mongering techniques. He told me that our water tested at around 425 and that was near having to get the EPA involved, which would be at 500. He even used Colleyville as an example that their water started out in the 220's beore installing the Culligan whole house system. He told me we need to get that number way down. He also stated that our reverse osmosis number should be a max of around 5. It is not, it tested (we had to request someone to come back out and test again after instillation) in the 30's now. Our whole house unit still tests at 420!!!! I even discussed with him how I have a chronic illness and that I was concerned about the water quality of taking detox epsom salt baths that I was getting more toxins than removing. He stated this whole house unit would help a lot. It made no difference whatsoever that we are aware of. I was very upset and called the main office to discuss and spoke with a man named Joe who was completely unhelpful. I told him I did NOT want the sales person to contact me, but rather his supervisor. He said he would have the manager contact me. Instead the very obnoxious salesperson called me and would not listen and was raising his voice to me. He was loudly saying that he told me it would only remove chlorine and such, but that is total bs as when he tested our chlorine he said it was "scary" because we had literally almost zero. Why on earth would I pay that much money for something to remove only a substance that I have almost zero of to begin with? I had to hang up on him and still never heard from the manager or anyone else. This was all on Monday 4/1 after water testing occurred. I told Joe I would contact the Revdex.com the following day if we couldn't get this resolved. It has now been a week. I am incredibly disappointed all the way around with the behavior of the Culligan employees. I thought Culligan had a good name and I was trusting in that name and prior reputation.

Desired Outcome

I would like a large and fair discount on our bill as the whole house number has not decreased at all! Reverse osmosis is drinkable, but not the number the sales person stated it would be. This water system does not do what was represented to us. We are also very concerned about being able to do business with this company going forward and need an understanding on how we can be fairly and honestly treated in the future as these systems will need ongoing maintenance. In addition, I would like for someone, other than the obnoxious sales person, someone knowledgeable and HONEST to contact us and explain just what the heck if anything the whole hose unit is even doing. If they can not respond in a agreeable manner to all of these things, we would like a complete refund, the systems removed, and damages paid as now we will have another hole in our granite.

To whom it may concern:
We offered the customer to remove our equipment and give thema full refund or $500.00 off the purchase price the customer selected to leave the equipment in and to take the $500.00 refund.

They installed a water filter in my home. 14 months later it quit working. I have them come service the unit. They said it no longer had compression but they did not know why it happened. They repaired it on Friday and let. Monday as I leave for work I notice the wood floors are wet. I open the cabinet and the overflow tray is full and water was leaking. I called at 6:45 am and they said an emergency technician would be out right away. I have called an additional 5 times and still no one has come to my house. The cabinet is ruined and so are the floors. Their response for emergencies is incredibly slow.

Our company started using Culligan for our water delivery service in August. We are extremely pleased with their pricing, and our delivery driver *** is wonderful-always smiling, kind and efficient. We definitely would recommend them to others!

Thank you for your great review *** is a great employee we are lucky to have him.

Culligan water softeners are great products when they work. I purchased one in April of 2104. It stopped working in October 2015. But the real issue is timely service. I called to request repairs on Nov. 9, 2015 and they could not get a repairman out to Plano until Nov. 23rd. After spending about 50 minutes replacing a part, they softener still does not work. I called to request service again on Nov. 27 and they cannot get a repairman out until Dec. 17. I find it problematic that is takes 3 weeks to get a technician to provide service.

Bought Culligan in Apr 2017, getting any service is a nightmare. filter change warning for 2 weeks now and I cant get them to schedule a service
I bought a Culligan system in April 2017. Right after installation I have faced problems, I bought the new system which has a button which can be used to get water from the Reverse osmosys system installed in the kitched. the button will stop working from time to time, I have called several times and every time I get a standard answer, we will scheule when technician is available, which is usally two weeks plus, what am I suppose to do in the period? My system is under warranty and still they wont treat this as an emergency. In December the system started giving a replace filter warning, which means the system is faulty as the filters are suppsoed to last 18 months as per Culligan people who installed the system. I have called multiple time to expedite the servcie call and I get a standard answer, we will request emergency servcie, but no one called or turned up to repair/replace the system. The servcie was scheduled for Dec 11th, no one came, upon calling several times, I was told the earliest they can reschedule is Dec 21st, which means my system will be non functional for almost 3 weeks.
The attitude at the front desk when a customer call is absolutely attrocious, they take the customers for granted, I suspect they know the system is faulty and they might have to replace the system and that is the reason they are givine me the run around. Very bad servcie, I am forced to now buy water cans from the nearby Kroger.

Desired Outcome

My system has given me several problems from the time it was installed, i dont want money back but the system needs to be replaced. How can the filters need repalcement in 6 months? the new button that they gave doesnt work consistently.

Company's Response:

Below is my response to the complaint:

I called and spoke with Mr., he is currently out of the country but asked us to call back in Jan 2018 to schedule an appointment. Verified his phone number with him to make sure we can reach him to book the appointment and confirm the day of, as our last two trips out we have missed him. Thank you.

(The consumer indicated he/she ACCEPTED the response from the business.)
Yes I did speak to culligan and finally my water filter was repaired. But I am totally unhappy about the number of follow ups I had to do. They have no sense of urgency to attend to customer requests for support, even through my system was under warranty. From my conversation with Mr ***, his service manager was supposed to call me, which he never did. I had to call up and after the standard response from them ' we can only schedule the service based on availability which almost 2 weeks'. Although I must mention that the technician who came to our house was very courteous and professional.
In summary there customer service really *** and I hope I have to never deal with them again.
