Unfortunately, we have exhausted all options to resolve this customers complaint We have a day, no questions asked, satisfaction guarantee that is well past expiration and no confirmed issues with the equipment installed, since installation, with the exception of a leaking shuttle valve which, as I explained in my last response, needs regular cleaning by the customer or via a chargeable service call, especially with the high iron and h2s content of this customers well We have attempted to explain that if the equipment was in fact not treating the water in their home, that symptoms would be seen at EVERY fixture, not just one bathroom sink in the Master bath We believe, and have communicated to this customer, that it could be either the supply lines on that sink or the p-trap on the drain of that sink Neither of which are our issues or something that we have the ability to fix for the customer I do not know if they have tried either solution
While we work very hard to have 100% of our customers happy with their purchase and the performance of the water treatment equipment we install (as demonstrated here by the non-billable trips to this home to find nothing wrong), there will, regrettably, always be a small minority of people that we are unable to please for reasons beyond our ability to control Again, by all means available to us through physical observation and testing, this customers water is soft and both iron and hydrogen sulfide gas free
We have installed literally 1000's of water softeners and Sulfur Cleer's in the State of Washington and Oregon without issue and that work flawlessly (as I am certain these ones do as well)

Since the sale and installation of this equipment on 8/17/to treat both hardness and hydrogen sulfide gas (rotten egg smell) we have been to this customers home separate times via our service department and times via our sales department to try and rectify the issues this customer complains
of On everyone of those occasions through both physical observation and testing, we cannot confirm the problem they complain of; I.Erotten egg smell and iron to service If we cannot verify the issue, we cannot fix it By any means we have available to us to try, we cannot find a problem with the equipment and it performs exactly as advertised and sold to them to do We have maxed out the settings on each piece of equipment in an attempt to resolve an unproven issue and to try and appease this customer There is nothing left to do and no justification for complaint in my opinion
The leak she complains of was repaired by my most experienced service technician (years with us) on 10/26/ This is not aband was due to a "stuck" air vent or shuttle valve on the Iron Cleer which if not cleaned regularly by the consumer, will eventually fail (Stick open due to iron build up) and require more in depth repair like that performed yesterday It is not a defect in the equipment and would be no different than not washing the salt off your car during the winter then complaining to the dealer that the car rusted!

Complaint: [redacted]I am rejecting this response because: It is apparent that the business has been less than professional with me reading this response.  The response focuses on me, yet my husband and step-children have smelled the odor as well.  Quite frankly, we didn't expect much from Culligan.  The response that was sent is consistent with the type of "customer service" I have been subjected to during the entire process.
