This complaint is against iBoats.com located at Election Road Suite 100, Draper, UT 84020, 1-800-914- This company deceptively represents products on their website In addition to inaccurate product descriptions this company ships products that are not ordered and fails to ship products ordered Customer service wait times exceed between to minutes Customer services fails to resolve disputes or provide return shipping labels for incorrectly shipped items On 7/3/an order was placed for two anchors (part number 239-HKGS8) and two anchor chains (part number 50-44141)The order delivered on 7/6/did not include anchor chains (part number 50-44141) nor anchors as advertisedIn place of anchor chains, two boxes of bilge pump through hull fitting installation kits (part number 19441) were delivered iBoats customer service contacted on 7/6/regarding missing anchor chains and incorrectly delivered partsiBoats customer service said Return Author

I recently purchased a trolling motor on-line from this company After installing the motor, I noticed it was unstable and allowed movement Going back to the website to be sure I had not misunderstood the advertisement, it stated stability as a specification in the product description I contacted the company and was finally told the only option they could offer was for me to return the product and if they found it defective, I could receive a refund My complaint concerns the poor quality of the product not a defect Since the product was installed, which was the only way to detect the problem, the company says they cannot offer a refund

Ordered a 15" boat seat pedestalWhen arrived , " was in the socket leaving only " above deckWay too short for me I was out $rush shipping but returned the item using a UPS label from the companyAfter days I kept trying to reach someone as my credit had not been issuedWhen I finally did they said they had not received it and asked if I had a tracking numberSince it was a prepaid label I dropped it at UPS without getting a receiptUPS said however that iboats issued the label with the tracking number on it so they should have itI found a copy of the label with the tracking number and discovered it was delivered and signed for nine days earlierI gave this information to iboats and they went silentNo further responseLuckily I had used PayPal, I sent copies of all to them and they issued me a credit in one hourThe price was good from iboats but I will never risk using them again because of the risk of making a return

I purchased a shade top (bimini top) for my boat May 1st and received it May 9th I connected the cover to the boat and went out on it twice and realized that the cover I needed was supposed to connect in the middle to the window console that crosses the front middle of the boatI then contacted iboats and stated I feel I personally ordered the wrong one and needed one that connects to the window console and for my year of boat specifically, bayliner capri

iboats sent me a hub kit for a outboard propeller The box had previously been opened and the wrong part was inside the boxI sent them pictures of the box it came in , the wrong part that was in the box , and my purchase orderTheir warehouse says it's not the wrong part and won't pay return shipping for exchange for the right partI ordered a hub kit part # and they shipped the right box but I did research on it and the hub kit in the #box is a #hub kit for Mercury outboardsI ordered for Evinrude outboards

If I could give zero stars for this company I would...I guess the one star would be a pity star for the helpless people that work for this company Long long story short, buy whatever you need someplace else and steer clear of iboats
This company is full of excuses as to why their customer service is horrible Half hour waits on hold to talk to anyone and they literally just make up whatever they can to make you feel like they are doing something about your order but there is NO communication, no email, no confirmation, no shipping tracking, no nothing They would continually blame the manufacturer's lousy customer service but by adding their own awful customer service on top of that, then you are dealing with two businesses that shouldn't be doing business at all Worst company I have ever dealt with

I ordered a boat propeller from them and after it arrived and I tried to put it on, the part did not fitI called iboats and they sent me a new propeller and I sent the old one back
The new propeller fit and I assumed everything was fine
weeks later I received the 1st (incorrect) propeller backThey said that it was not an acceptable return because there were scratches on some of the parts incthe propellerThey sent images to support their claim
These scratched appear in location's on the parts that are in-line with the area's of the engine where the propeller attachesIf they did not send the incorrect part in the first place, these would not have appeared

Did not try to work with me after giving me ship date and shipping it days earlier after I bought from someone elseI had to pay $and $to return Makes no sense.!! Terrible customer service

They sent us a boat cover that was about a foot too short and completely unusableI oats says we “customized” our cover but we didn’t We have a standard Bass Tracker boatIt is standard sized They won’t replace or refund They won’t answer their phones

I returned a $boat propeller which they signed for but they state they received a different item that I kept They are refusing to issue credit even though they signed for said propeller It took them a month for them to finally tell me they don't have the propeller The box stated a propeller and it's 9# weight yet they state they received a ounce nut which I kept for future use with a different propeller that I ordered from them
