Mr [redacted] received two applications of lawn careThe first being discounted $off and the second in April of being full priceHe says we didn't answer the phone, but we are here M-F 8-every day except holidaysWe sent out late letters in between April and our latest letter so I would have expected a phone call to clear this matter up before now Since this was so long ago and since we're moving forward I'm not going to try to collect any longerBalance now ***s $Wish we could have worked something out last year Thank you

Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below I was shocked to see the response from Custom Turf that they had contacted me, and that I had rejected their offer to pay a portion of the balanceThis is an outright fabricationAfter reading this response, I immediately called them again, left a message on their answering machine (AGAIN), and then finally received a call back from a woman saying she was representing the companyI explained my complaint to her, and she passed me on to a manI then explained my complaint to himHe told me they are not permitted to meet on the lawn, as I have repeatedly requested, to show all the weeds that have never died and to discuss the flowers they killed this springAs I was explaining that I didn't think the entire lawn was being treated, the man became agitaited and told me he was the one that treats my lawn and that I have crabgrass (which they supposedly treated for with a pre-emergent)I have never complained about crabgrass, only the same weeds (like dandelions, clover, and plantain) that have never been killed since the first applicationThey continue to want to say I have "creeping charlie" and crabgrass, and it appears that they use this as an excuse not to properly treat the lawn for weeds even though their invoices say that they areI then questioned why they would respond to the Revdex.com complaint that they had communicated with me, and that I had refused an offer to pay a portion of the balanceThe man told me it was because they couldn't get a hold of meNote again that they responded they did contact me, and I refused their offerI reiterated my request to have someone meet me on my lawn to see the weeds and address my concernsThe man said he would not, that they would pursue the entire balance, they were turning my account over to a collection agency, and then proceeded to hang up on me.Per the response Custom Turf provided you:Please see two examples of literature left after applicationNo where does it state they treat the lawn every 4-weeks as claimedIt only states that service continues from season to seasonI have never given them permission to treat my lawn every month of the yearWhen I first allowed them to start treating the lawn several years ago, the program I approved was for six applications through the growing season.Whether or not they have an answering machine that runs 24/has not been disputedThe problem has been that it is the only avenue to try and communicate with this company, and my experience has been that my calls and messages have been ignoredThey were told by answering machine message not to treat my lawn again, but ignored my instruction and treated it again anyway.I have also attached examples of the same weeds that have been present since the start of the yearThese weeds are not "creeping charlie" and crabgrass as stated by Custom TurfThey are dandelions, clover, and plantain that are easily controlled with proper application.Recording wind speeds differently is an interesting way to say you haven't violated label instructions that led to damage to my landscapeI will be filing a formal complaint with the [redacted] Department of Agriculture, Division of PesticidesCustom Turf can explain to them why they made application at times with wind speeds twice that of the label instructionsThey can also explain making repeated pesticide treatments in clear violation of the label rates.Due to Custom Turf supplying you with a fabricated response, their refusal to meet me on my lawn to discuss their poor service, property damage, and lack of results, and the level of hostility displayed over the phone threatening me with a collection agency and hanging up on me, I have no faith that they have any intention of delivering the most basic of service and results any homeowner would expect Regards, [redacted] ***

In regards to Mr***'s complaint we feel we are owed the final bill, but in order to move on we will not continue to try to collectMr [redacted] was upset there were weeds and rightfully soWe adjusted two treatments we did for weed control and gave them to him for freeThe last treatment was a flea and tick treatment in order to keep fleas out of the lawn Since we gave him two weed control applications that were not satisfactory for him I would think he should pay for the insect control treatment since we did not hear any complaints about thatWe have adjusted this balance to $and will not contact Mr [redacted] to sell him any service again Thank you

Mr [redacted] used our service for one application in April 2012, one in September of and one more in November of We had him cancelled after an application in January of 2013, but I believe him when he says he cancelled beforeSorry we missed that note and I will take care of the balance and adjust to $ As far as not seeing improvement in the lawn I am very sorry, but not too surprisedApril, September, November is not idealToo long in between services and not enoughI wish we had a chance to do our entire application program to show what a good job we can doHate being judged on three apps especially when there was so much time in between when he signed up the first time in April and again in September Again, sorry about missing that noteThere were no extra billings, just late letters if you kept receiving those for the one application in January Thank you

Our sales manager *** wrote up this sale on 8/31/At the same time she wrote up a service call. What is confusing about this is that *** makes a salary and is not worried about hitting any sales goals or anything like thatShe’s more into customer serviceShe wrote many
notes on the service call and sales ticket that I don’t think could be made up. My only explanation is she talked to someone else and sold them, but thought she was on the phone with you? Because her notes say to set up a free service call to look at clover in lawn and possible crabgrassShe said back yard needs a heavy seeding jobIf dogs are out, knock on the door to put them upAs a sales manager, *** has never had a customer say we signed them up for something and they never spoke with her.
