The Cymax Company is awful, I would not recommend buying from themI bought a chest which was shown on the website as a bolder green with brown antique through it, but what I actually got was a chest that was a lighter country greenI contacted them immediately and after weeks of phone calls and emails they said I could return it, but would have to pay to ship it back, pay for original shipping, and pay a 20% stocking feeIn other words I spent $on this chest and I would get back about $and it was their errorI would never buy from this company again and I wouldn't recommend any one else does eitherBad News!!!!

I have been looking for an electric fireplace for a while, and saw the "real flame silverton electric fireplace" on sale at WalmartIt was being sold by CymaxI placed my order during the Black Friday and then had some questions on the order and gave Cymax a callEven with the overflow of customers during the Black Friday mania, I was able to get to talk to a representative very quickly and all my questions were answered promptlyI also communicated with one of Cymax' representatives via email and their feedback was prompt and very helpful! My order came very, very quickly - in 2-business days and my fireplace looks absolutely fantastic! There were no scratches (as I read in some reviews), the mantle was very easy to install, the firebox works great, and even when the heater is on, it is really not noisy My experience with Cymax was a very positive one, and I will most likely order from them again

Very disappointed in this companyPlaced order11/I was told in email the order would be processed 11/20-25/16, and should receive order 12/2-7/No email received so I made several phone callsEach call I was told that it was to be picked up that nightFinally received an email stating it had been processed 12/9/and will delivered 12/23-28/My furniture was moved out first of December expecting delivery the first week of DecemberNow I will not have furniture until after ChristmasVery very disappointed in their promise to process the order immediately and deliver in weeks

Friend's and Clients, this is the most TERRIBLE experience I have ever experiencedPlease do not use Cymax to purchase anything, especially for delivery! FYII ordered a new chair on September 30th which was supposed to be delivered no later then October 21stNEVER showed upI called on October 26th and they said I would get an email the next day letting me know when it would arrivestill nothingMeanwhile, they have had the money pulled from my checking account for about a monthThis is the worst online purchase I have ever dealt with

I purchased a Richardson Seating Retro 1950s 30" Swivel Bar Stool in BlackIt is a well constructed stool, of a heavy silver pipeThe cover seams to be of a heavy materialIt is just the type of chair I needI hurt my back several years ago, and have had several stools that were made of rather light pipe and brokeI use the chair to sit on to cook and wash dishesThis stool will last many years as compared with my other stools

Cymax makes it easy to find what I wanted and very eady to orderI will shop here first when looking for furniture or anything else I may be looking forI liked all the different options that was showedThis was my first time shopping at Cymax but it certainly want be my last

I bought two Curio cabinets from Cymax onlineI purchased Platinum white glove service so they could assemble and install the cabinetsWhile the cabinets were delivered and installed on time, the installers did not have the Shelves and Pins for one of the cabinets and a few pins from the other cabinetI have been in email and phone communication with Cymax for OVER A MONTH now and nothing has movedLast week they asked me to send pictures of the top and bottom insides of the cabinets - so it seems both Cymax and the manufacturers DO NOT trust that I am really missing those shelves - meaning I am either so dumb that I did not see those shelves stuck inside the top or bottom of the cabinets or I am profiting from trading in those shelves and pins - quite ridiculous!!!

I ordered a L-shaped desk and paid for the assembly of itWhen my desk arrived by a third part, I was told it as a drop shipThey left EIGHT VERY HEAVY boxes in my house and being petite, I could not even lift one of the boxes I called Cymax, [redacted] and [redacted] (delivery company) I was informed by Cymax that even though I paid for it to be assembled, they were not going to do it I was advised to hire a handyman They did credit me $to do so, but I was very upset and did not want to impose on my boyfriend to assemble it It took him EIGHT hours He is very skilled in assembling things, but said it was by far the most difficult thing he has ever had to assemble I could NEVER had assembled this as I could not even lift it Cymax gave me a credit of $and told me I could use that money to hire a handyman I was only missing one screwDirections and numbering of parts was very accurate, but again, I would not have ordered it if I knew I would have to assemble it I do however love my desk, but would not order from them again The customer service rep from Cymax was very nice and very apologetic so I did appreciate that

The product is not what is shown It was your basic compressed wood with black sides and a bed slight wood grain The back is plastic Store itself w as efficientAnd ok to put together Don't pay more than for it

There were two parts that got by your quality control or the assembly jigs are wrong The first was the wine rack, the rails to attach to the frame were installed upside downThe screw recess would be to the cabinet frameMaking it impossible to attachAs the screws would not be long enoughI had to take the glass rails off the mounting rails and turn the mounting rails over and reattach the wine railsThen I was able to install the wine rack The second problem was with the draw front pieceThe piece that the draw bottom fit into was attached at the vary bottom of the other front draw piecesWhen installed as you provided the draw would no shutIt was about 1/incentive to highAgain being a old wood craftsman I saw your mistake immediately and proceeded to re position that pieceThese two problems would cause most people to return the home bar and or not even installing these items

Dresser had multiple chips with particleboard showingCheap materialsWould never buy from again

I ordered a fireplace TV entertainment center It arrived in perfect condition Seems to be pretty good quality and was easy to put togetherI'm very happy with my purchase and would not hesitate to buy from Cymax again
