I would give them a zero if possible. I'm so frustrated with never having a connection. Tech support always has me unplugging things, creating a ticket #, & blaming my Netgear router. I have purchased 5 brand new routers in the last 3 years! They just keep taking my money & not solving anything!
Unfortunately they are my only option for internet being that I live in the sticks.
I am a single mom of 3 children that are doing summer school & need the internet because of this recent pandemic! You would think the company would be more accommodating, sympathetic, understanding & helpful of financial issues & stress of it all!

DVR not working correctly notified D & P in Oct of this issue. Still not corrected or no bill credit.
Back in October of 2019, reported that my DVR or Whole Home DVR was recording programs that it was not sat to record. Inform them at the time this was causing the limit disk drive in the DVR to full up. I'm not talking about just one or two programs but twenty or more programs at a time. During hours, I am not watching TV. Which in turn is causing New programs not record because the disk drive is full.

Was inform couple weeks later that a Vendor who apparently supplies D & P Communications TV Guide program would correct the issue. This has not happened yet, and D & P Communications has continue to say it's there Vendor issue. A issue, I was told would be correctly by end November by D & P Communications. Then again in early December D & P Communications stated the issue would be correct by end of December.

Now, today February 6, 2020 I called D & P Communications about the same issue and to request a bill credit. Again, I was told that it's a Vendor issue and they are working on it. Is it a Vendor issue? D & P Communications continues to refuse to issue to correct the issue

Desired Outcome

Would like D & P to issue a bill for the DVR Service, I pay $9.95 per month for the months I have not been able to use my DVR. Also, either correct the issues with my current DVR or replace it at NO charge to me. Replace it with a newer one that the TV Guide program work with. Reason I state, replace it, is D & P vendor TV Guide program may not be written to work with the DVR model year that D & P install couple years ago in my home. The above issues didn't start until D & P switch to the new TV Guide program. Before the new TV Guide program my DVR work fine. This leads me believe that the Vendor program isn't written for the Model of DVR D & P supply me with.

Please cancel this complaint. D&P has and is now working with me to resolve the issues. They have agree to credit my account.

Cancelled my service November 22 and was due a refund. Called them at least 8 times and they say check was sent or being sent. Never got it.

One call they say the check was sent last week to address I gave them. Next time they say check was being sent out that day. Ten days later they say there was a delay and check is going out tomorrow. Five days later they say it's in the mail. Two months now and still no refund.

My refund with interest.

Refund check was issued/mailed prior to complaint date. Customer called and advised Customer Service Rep that the check was received.

Took almost 3 months to get my refund. Totally unacceptable. If I was late with my payment they would charge me a late fee.

they love to take your money that they over charge for highest in the area . but cant supply even close to the speeds they charge you for any more . if you complain they give you the we have done all we can do , we know it use to work but it doesnt any more. to deal with it. was treated rude by the final tech that called. trying to blame everything except their service. they had no clue I am a certified tech my self . and they are just feeding B.S. very disappointing. thought they were much better since they took over and merged with computer care company (tc3Net) but the rep I got the other day is left over from their. rude and condescending.

My husband and I have had this provider for our cable and internet for over a year now. The cable is horrible! On a daily basis, I have to completely reset the cable box, or I don't have TV. I can't watch local news, because it never comes in clear. I can't watch numerous channels because of the same problem. We pay for on demand, and never have been able to access it. We also pay for high speed internet. We are lucky if we can stream a video from Netflix or Amazon. They are the only provider out in this rural area. Instead of updating their current fiber optics, they instead expanded out to more areas, continuing with providing poor quality cable and internet.

As a customer of theirs in the past I had problems with them getting the speeds I was promised for my internet. After six months of complaints and requests for compensation for the lack of service I was paying for. I left them and never looked back. A month ago they started pulling new fiber down my street and cut my gas line to my house. After getting it fixed 24 hours later I asked for a supervisor to call me back. Still a month after the problem I still have not heard back from ***. after leaving several messages.... Customer Service Rating is a ZERO... Avoid this company like the plague ... Buyer beware
