 They called me about six times, each time demanding payment. When I said that I had mailed them a letter...

in June (well before the end, in August, of the contracted year) saying that I wanted to end my relationship with them, they said that they had not received the letter and I had to pay them. I told them I could accept their saying they didn't receive my letter but they were not acknowledging my sending it. They spoke of "resolving" the matter only in terms of my paying, not with regard to my letter. I faxed a copy of my letter on September [redacted], but got no reply. When I received another call to pay, on September [redacted], I mentioned my fax. Since that person knew nothing about it, I faxed another copy of my letter to her that day. She had promised to call me back, but noone has responded.

Review: We advertised with them last year and did not receive one referral even though we paid about $6,000 for the ad. They asked if we wanted to renew and I said we did not want to and they continue to call about 11 -12 times a day and send about 6 -8 faxes, They do not stop harrassing me although I am busy seeing patients. I have told them I do not want to advertise and to stop but they do not stop calling.

Review: Received a call that I owed $1700 for advertising fees. At first, I thought it was related to the advertising campaign that I signed up for in Nov 2014. Turns out, it was due to an automatic renewal of the contract. I do not wish to renew the contract and requested out of the contract. They stated that they sent invoices to me in September and October reminding of the renewal. I did not receive these invoices. There was no other correspondence regarding renewal. No phone calls. No emails. They are not willing to let me out of the contract since I did not notify them within 30 days of renewal. Rather they continually try to get me to stay by reducing the amount due. I received no new clients from their advertising and do not wish to spend one penny more for their services. The next advertising campaign does not start until January, so I do not see why I can not get out of the contract.Desired Settlement: I wish to cancel the contract, as I do not wish to conduct any further business with them.

Review: I have made an agreement last year with the sales lady that came into my facility when she made an offer to me that sounded like the best thing in the world and I cannot miss out on the offer. Remind you I started my business and it's been only one year to this day I have opened. I gave her a minimum cash payment and I did not SIGN any paperwork and she came back few days afterwards to collect the rest of payment of $500 total. I checked out if everything went well and I got response from their design side to put up my small "banner" on their website. Everything went well but then I heard nothing from them until recently.

The first call they I had picked up from them they said that I have an outstanding balance to pay off. First I did not know how to react so this was immediately a phone call I did not want hear nor did I want to speak to the person on the other line because of how rude they were. Next they kept calling NON-STOP during my hours of business and interrupted MANY times during my peak times. So I picked up again then I calmed down and told them I remember only giving the sales woman, her name is K[redacted] from Jewish Marketing Solutions, payment of $500 and she did the rest. NOW they said that I signed paperwork on a contract that I have NEVER seen or RECEIVED!

WOW is the first thing and NOW they constantly harass me saying that I have to renew or I HAVE to pay this balance of renewal. I'm in a situation where if the business helped me or did something for me to offer me a better deal I would have gone with it. But this has taken me off guard and I want nothing to do with these people and the company and I DID NOT SEE ANY PAPERWORK!

From all the complaints I've read and heard over other local businesses about this company they are acting as if they are a collections agency after you sign an agreement they are out to get you. The next lady that called K[redacted] she was trying to talk over my voice said SIGN this SIGN that and send check not by mail but by taking a picture on your phone and sending to us. Also saying GIVE US YOUR CREDIT CARD INFORMATION! Just shows how ridiculous and how unprofessional they really are.Desired Settlement: Cancel all contracts and remove me from their list and stop harassing my business calling me 5+ times a day. I owe them nothing!

This company needs to be shut down. I agreed to a one year contract with this directory, promised tons of leads and return on my investment 2 years ago. I have never agreed or signed a renewal contract and they continue to call me from New York telling my I will go to collections if I do not pay ASAP. Every time I ask them to mail / email / fax me the contract that states I owe them money, they hang up on me. I have called them back and they simply say you are going to collections and hang up on me. This is fraudulent and I am being harassed by these phone calls. If they approach you to advertise, I would stay away from entering into any business with them. I spent a lot of money with no new business and they are threatening me. I have had several other colleagues have the same experience.

Review: In February * 2014 I signed a contract with Jewish marketing solutions to be in the Jewish [redacted]. This service was horrible and we received not one lead We paid the 2014 contract and told them that we wanted nothing to do with this service. We were contacted by them and told that we owed the contract of 2015. They renewed the contract after we told them we did not want this service renewed. This company wants to continue to bill us for no service for this year. I want this contract canceledDesired Settlement: I want the contract from 2014 discontinued. I do not want this contract renewed. I want the money that they say I owed them for 2015 to be taken out since I asked them to not renew the service and I want Jewish Marketing Solutions to never contact me again.

Review: I was fast talked into meeting with there sales person, who also claimed he was the owner. He told me he had to meet a deadline for the July issue, and wanted my company [redacted]. to advertise in there upcoming issue. He started out at 4000.00 for the ad and since he was the owner said he would do the ad for $400.00 because he needed to complete the book. However if I do not get one lead I would only pay the $100.00 I gave him that day and owe no further monies. The book did not come out till December long after my season ended and I did not get any leads. I wrote them a letter asking for a refund since the book did not print in July like I was promised. They harrass me every week, a different person calls demanding payment, very nasty, and they even called to renew it this year. I have spoke to [redacted] and sent her the paper work I have stating our agreement. She said she would try and get it cleared up. I do not owe them money and don't know how to get them to stop calling me. Is this something you can help me with? Please let me know. Review: We used this jewish directory for one year it was a waste of money we didnt get any referrals not even one referral. They call every day or every other day to try to renew but were not interested and ive told them to stop calling but they dont understand. My boss who owns the business has told them to stop calling but they just keep calling. It takes time away from what I really have to do. Ive hung up on them put them on hold until they hang up but they still call back, desperate company who doesnt understand what stop calling means. The company is listed in new york but were in california but after some research there also from the mid-east which explains why I can hardly understand them when they speak. Review: I ADVERTISED MY BUSINESS WITH THIS ORGANIZATION IN 2014 FOR A ONE TIME FEE ONLY AND WITH THE EXPLICIT UNDERSTANDING THAT IT WOULD BE LIMITED TO THE 2014 TAX SEASON.RECENTLY, I RECEIVED A PHONE CALL FROM A PERSON IN THAT ORGANIZATION CLAIMING I OWE THEM THE SAME FEE FOR THIS SEASON BECAUSE AS THEY CLAIM THE CONTRACT I SIGNED HAD A PROVISION THAT IT WOULD BE RENEWED AUTOMATICALLY WITHOUT MY CONSENT, UNLESS I COMMUNICATED MY INTENTION NOT TO. I DON'T RECALL ANY SUCH PROVISION WHEN I SIGNED THE CONTRACT, UNLESS IT WAS OBSCURED AND I CANNOT LOCATE THE COPY I SIGNED.I DID NOT RECEIVE ANY LETTER OR OTHER COMMUNICATION STATING IF I WANTED TO RENEW THIS YEAR.I KEEP RECEIVING TELEPHONE CALLS ON A REGULAR BASIS TO PAY THE FEE, EVEN THOUGH I REPEATEDLY TOLD THEM I AM NOT INTERESTED TO RENEW BECAUSE I AM RETIRED AND HAVE NO USE OF IT.THEY KEEP REFERRING TO THE CONTRACT I SIGNED EVEN THOUGH IN OUR DISCUSSIONS WITH THE REPRESENTATIVE AT THE TIME WE AGREED ORALLY THAT THIS WAS A ONE TIME TRY. Review: My name is [redacted] with a small business , [redacted] . This Jewish Marketing Company reach out to me about their services and how they can make a difference for my type of business. I will see a big increase with new customers from the Jewish communities . Some of the services offered are social networking , [redacted] local listing, referral service and much more . I decided to along its sounds great and who would not need an increase of new customers . It's three months and I haven't got a single phone , email or even a referral . I try to contact this company a number of times I will get a voice mail. I finally started to do some research and found out that this( Jewish Solutions ) do promises but don't delivery. I try to reach out to the lady the keep calling my phone and she said oh oh I am no longer working there. This company is out to take money from persons and delivered no services. I worked hard for my money. They need to be out of business. .Desired Settlement: I will go to the extend for my refund of monies taken so far . This is the worst company I come in contact with.

Review: Placed an ad with this company back in 2007. I was not given what was promised . They said it would boost my business at the time with the jewish community. As far as I know the first ad never went out and when I contacted them I was never able to speak with anyone about the issue even though I was always told that so and so, or so and so will get back to me. Payment was never finished on the ads and no ads were ever given to me as proof that it was done. Anyway, today Sept **, 2013, I am getting phone calls from [redacted] and an [redacted] from the company trying to shake me down for money or they are going to sue me. I asked for proof of the ads and said I will come into the office to get them, then I was told if I come to the office I should bring cash to resolve it, before they give me the paperwork to review. Now that I am reading up about them, I realized that they are in the business of ripping off people and harassing people with phone calls.Desired Settlement: Stop harassing me, close the case and send me a letter of apology for their inefficient service and to stop harassing me

The total price of the marketing contract was $1000 in which she paid $500 (50% of the contracted price).

Please be advised that all services have been rendered to this customer. As a matter of fact, it is [redacted] that is in breach of contract.

I spoke to [redacted] today, October ** and discussed ways on settling this account. I offered to settle by adjusting the balance to $250 (50% off). She literally insulted our company by offering "to pay $10".

She has not made any payments to this account since 2007. All she has made are excuses on why she should not pay.

At this point, our firm's position still stands. We are willing to settle this account for $250; we will decline to any other offers of settlement made by the customer.
