Do not sign up with this organization. They charged me $1500 in 2014 and not one call or referral. Plus be careful it is an open ended contract . they call me constantly called me about thirty times to get another $1500 out of me after they found out another accountant called me and I told them not to do it. total is a total scam.
Review: I originally signed a ONE year contract with them in April of 2014 to do some advertisement and be listed in their yellow pages. The total charge was $1500 spread over 3 months (April, May, and June) and I only agreed to be charged for that one year. However, in January of 2015 they proceeded to charge me $500 for the new year. I called them to dispute this and they claimed that they needed to do this for their new advertisement book. I informed them that they should not have charged me while I was still under contract and asked for a copy of my contract. Instead they sent me a letter which they wanted me to sign stating that I had given them authorization to charge my credit card, which is absolutely false. I did not, and will never, give them authorization to charge me ever again. I wrote a letter back stating that I wanted a refund and to cancel my account with them. I have also put in a dispute with my credit card company regarding their charge and am waiting an outcome. I think what they're doing is deceitful and possibly criminal. I have never encountered a company that charged me prior to the contract expiration and then tried to get authorization for it. If they do not resolve my complaint to my satisfaction I am prepared to file another complaint with the Attorney General. If you can help me resolve this matter and have them refund my money I would greatly appreciate it. Thank you.Desired Settlement: Refund my money and never contact me ever again.

Review: A saleswoman signed me up in August 2014 for one year of advertising. She came to my office, spoke at great length about the arrangements (as well as asking advice about her relationship issues). It was clear that we were talking about my trying their advertising for one year (I had used their advertising once 15 years earlier). At no time did the saleswoman go through details of a printed contract or mention that the company now intended to renew the arrangement automatically after the end of the year.In the spring it was clear that I had not gotten a single patient through the company's advertising and was not likely to get any. I communicated on June **, 2015, my intention to terminate the advertising arrangement with them. On August [redacted] I received a phone call from their billing department demanding payment for another year of advertising and threatening me with "sending this to collections" if I didn't pay them at once. I explained that automatic renewal had not been discussed with me, that I didn't agree to it, and that I had stated a intention to terminate my relationship with them. I also asked the person to make a record then of my wish to terminate the relationship. She refused multiple timesDesired Settlement: Jewish Marketing Solutions will cancel their unilateral and undesired renewal of any advertising arrangement with me and cease billing and threatening me.

They called me about six times, each time demanding payment. When I said that I had mailed them a letter in June (well before the end, in August, of the contracted year) saying that I wanted to end my relationship with them, they said that they had not received the letter and I had to pay them. I told them I could accept their saying they didn't receive my letter but they were not acknowledging my sending it. They spoke of "resolving" the matter only in terms of my paying, not with regard to my letter. I faxed a copy of my letter on September [redacted], but got no reply. When I received another call to pay, on September [redacted], I mentioned my fax. Since that person knew nothing about it, I faxed another copy of my letter to her that day. She had promised to call me back, but noone has responded.

They phoned me many, many times, different people calling and demanding money that they would like from me. But in the past two weeks, I have not heard from them.

Review: On October **, 2014, I signed a contract to advertise in a business directory published by this company. The contract automatically renews each year unless I cancel 30 days before expiration according to the terms. However my office never received a copy of the renewal invoice until agent for this publisher began calling me and attempting to harass me into paying the renewal fee of $2,657. Had my office received their invoice in a timely fashion, I would been able to cancel this service which did not provide any inquiries into my business. The agent who called finally faxed a copy of the invoice to me on November **. The invoice was dated September [redacted] 2015. I checked with my office manager and she confirmed that we never received this invoice in our mail delivery and it was the first time she had seen it.I will send a letter to this business today informing them that I am cancelling this service and tho ask them to honor this request since the lateness of our receipt of their invoice did not provide me with a fair opportunity to cancel this service. I would like for them to stop calling my office and leaving harassing phone messages insisting that I pay this invoice.Desired Settlement: I would simply like for Jewish Marketing Solutions to honor my request to cancel this advertising service effective immediately and stop calling my office.
