I bought a motorcycle long distance in February and had to find a carrier to bring it to me. Oregon to Ohio. Daily Direct (Haul Bikes) had a winter special going and a rate that was two thirds to half what other carriers were asking. Sounded good. Even the pick up was within the scheduled and shared time window. But between that moment the bike was picked up and when it arrived (32 days later), their communication and ability to provide status and timing of delivery was abominable. The advertised GPS tracked trucks apparently aren't used for the customer.
According to the contract, their delivery was only a week beyond their outside estimate of date. But it was near total darkness in terms of communication on where my bike was and when it would arrive, right up to a few days before it was delivered.
The home office ladies were nice but totally ineffective at knowing what was going on in the depots scattered around the country. They'd call dispatch for me only to say it was 'in process'. Week after week, same answer. I wrote the President of the company. No response. Once the delivery went outside of the contract window they promised me a partial credit, but it was never fulfilled. When the bike did arrive, it was safe and undamaged.
So how do you rate this experience? Contractually close to within bounds but a high anxiety experience, wondering where and when an expensive asset like a motorcycle will be delivered. No response from senior officers of the company. And broken promises about provided a credit due.
Next time I'll pay more for peace of mind.

Buyer beware. They will promise you a delivery in under 3 weeks. Stops in warehouses that only last 2 days. However, when it comes to getting your bike, it will not go so swimmingly. After a 2 week stint in a warehouse in Pennsylvania, my bike finally has a driver assigned. The bad news (again) is that my bike will be last off the truck. So, 4 weeks into the delivery process and I still have 2 more weeks to wait. I know all of this information because I have been calling and emailing. I have not received a return call, I get the information when I happen to find my customer service rep in the office. My advice, do your research. Do not listen to their promises. They will not call you back. They will not keep you informed. They will ignore you. Your bike will take longer than 3 weeks. Your bike will sit in a warehouse. You will have no idea what they are doing with your bike.

Contacted Daily Direct to ship my bike to/from Daytona for bike week. They were prompt at taking my payment, accepting bike at their Milwaukee warehouse and delivering it to Daytona on time. The return trip was another story. I dropped the bike off with the driver on March 13th. I did not get the bike back until April 14th! Over 1 month. This caused me to miss a trip with my daughter to ride in Nebraska for Easter (April 3-5). Their attitude regarding long delivery time was poor. If you have more than 1 bike and don't care how long it takes, go ahead and ship with them. If you expect customer service and timely delivery, find another company.
