Review: I went to [redacted] to Purchase a vehicle from them no 1/**/2015. I did all the Necessary credit check with them to be approved and I did get the approved from them. And I was to leave a down payment of $9500. but I give them a Deposit a check of $2500 no 01/**/2015. I called them back on the Monday to cancel the deal because 'the rest of money I could not get it from the credit union.I leave many messages on the sales person's phone but no one return my call and when I finally get to speak to the manager concerning the problem he told me they do not give back refunds any money that was deposit.but they will keep my deposit no they bank for a year in case I want bay a car from them. I just need my money back from them.Desired Settlement: I just need my Deposit back from them.I did't take any merchandise from them or from there parking lot.

Review: On 8/**/15 I brought my 2014 Ford Escape in for scheduled maintenance at Dana ford, the same dealer I leased from.the car was given back to me and I was told everything went fine.after leaving dealer I noticed there was something on hood of car.I pulled over got out and saw oil on hood, roof, door panels and in engine compartment.I immediately turned around and went back to dealer.there I was told that the car had been in an accident inside the car wash on site, owned by dealer.what had happened was,a hydraulic fluid hose had burst and spilled all over my car.I could not believe it .they gave the car BACK TO ME AND DIDNT EVEN TELL ME.this fluid is hazardous, they put me and my family health in danger.I was then brought into a room to meet with a manager named Martin Franklin .he told me that they would keep car and call insurance company.he was rude, confrontational, and defensive when I asked why I was given car back and not told about incident.now I went home and called [redacted] to see if they had reported the oil spill, they hadn't so I did,CAN YOU BELIEVE IT,this should be criminal.I have now waited 3weeks and they still have not even filed a claim with insurance company.I had to call my insurance, geico,to get them to call their company, travelers,to get claim started.now I now have a a car with hydraulic fluid saturated all over my car for 3 weeks running.the damage it caused is endless.this should have been cleaned properly asap.paint peeling, corrosion of wires, filters, belts .I Am shocked at the behavior of this company, they should be brought up on charges, criminal, environmental, civil.I will never feel safe in this car,not knowing if this oil is in the vents ,filters and my family is inhaling this toxic fluid ,will the wires or fluid lines fail while I'm driving.this dealer should take this car back and refund my money it's the only way to resolve this.Desired Settlement: Terminate lease and make restitution for what is happening.

Review: I went to Dana Ford looking to lease a new car. After finding the car I wanted with the help of a salesman, we went to speak to someone about the numbers. At this point I told them I would be turning in my current lease which was a Jeep I had with another bank(Ally Bank). They went somewhere to find out what the pay-off would be on my current lease and to find out what my down payment and monthly payment would be on the new vehicle. After a little while, someone from Dana came over to my wife and I to tell us that they would pay off our current lease and showed us what our down payment monthly payment would be on the new vehicle. We agreed.

The following day, Dana took possesion of our old lease and we drove home in the new Ford.

About 3 days later, I noticed that an additional payment was taken out of my checking account from the financing company representing my old lease(Ally bank). When I contacted them to find out why money was withdrawn from my account since that lease should have been satisfied by Dana, they informed me that Dana had only made a PARTIAL payment. They did not satisfy the note.

Why would Dana take possesion of my old lease but not satisfy the note like they said they would? I feel like I was presented fictitious numbers to make a sale on the last day of the month.

I have been trying to resolve this with Dana for about a month. I have been trying to get someone to give me a direct answer. I have made many phonecalls with no resolution.

I would love for someone to call me back from Dana to resolve this issue.Desired Settlement: I would like to be reimbursed the money that was taken out of my checking account to satisfy the note for the lease that Dana took possesion of. That was the deal

Review: I purchased a vehicle from Dana Ford on 8/**/13. At that time I paid the dealer a 75.00 fee to obtain registration and title and provide paperwork to the DMV for my plate. The plate came in a month later on 9/**/13. I was charged 208.00. I was told the 208 was for the plates and registration through motor vehicle. When questioned why motor vehicles charged 208.50, I was told by the finance manager [redacted] that the price goes by the weight of the car. That did not seem right to me so I asked billing for a detailed receipt not just my cc receipt. When the billing office gave me the receipt, I noticed it had 58.50 DMV fee and 150.00 fee to a third party company for the plates. When I questioned [redacted], he said he did not know about the 3rd party person and that was the fee to the DMV which was incorrect . I told him that I was not informed prior to getting the plate that a 3rd party was going to be involved in obtaining the plate and therefore I wanted to only be charged for the plate itself from the DMV which was 58.50. I asked for the 150.00 to be reimbursed. When I did not see the credit hit my card, I called back and I spoke to [redacted]s manager, [redacted] and he told me that if I gave [redacted] a copy of my credit card, which I did then I would get the credit in one to two days. As of this date I have not received my credit. I believe I am getting a run around and am still waiting.Desired Settlement: I ask the Revdex.com to kindly step in and help me get back what I should not have paid in the first place which is an extra fee of 150.00 . Dana Ford had previously been paid 75.00 to do the processing to obtain the plate, registration and title. Furthermore on the invoice it states the "fee may not exceed 75.00"

Business

Response:

[redacted] purchased a vehicle in which we processed motor vehicle for she paid a $75.00 Documentary fee, $58.50 for PA registration and $150.00 processing fee for PA registration. The $150.00 fee is a fee the dealer pays to our service that does PA plates. Dana Ford will not refund any of these fees and has never promised to do so.

Response:

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# [redacted], and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:

[redacted] of Dana Ford did not advise or notify us of any additional fees before we purchased the Vehicle other than the one fee of $75.00 which is stated on the document we submitted to the Revdex.com ( used car invoice # [redacted]) If [redacted] had advised us then I would not have purchased the vehicle or I would have registered the vehicle myself.

Response:

Review: I had a leased 2013 MKX for 7 months, detested it!!!. Wanted to trade it in for a chevy at a different dealership. Was told by new dealership that Dana had to give the price of the buy back. Somehow my $50000 car that I owed $45000 on was only worth 32000$ and even though I owed $45000 Dana would only take $49000 to buy it in full so I can get another car. Basically Lincolns dont hold their value at all, and Dana makes you keep it no matter what by charging what ever they want. Dana also refused to call the Chevy dealership that I was at back and when the dealership called them they were hung up on. When the manager from Dana was finally "available" he made a nasty comment about me. They are a horible dealership!!!!Desired Settlement: I want my $5000 back that I had to overpay to get out of my lease.

Business

Response:

[redacted] has a red carpet lease with ford motor company. Her lease is still active and has never been paid off. Typically people who try to break there lease before it matures are many dollars upside down. If [redacted] would like a New Ford or Lincoln or a used vehicle we will assist her with the process and can allow more for the Lincoln than the Chevy Dealer. We have not had any other transaction with [redacted] since she leased her 2013 Lincoln Mkx.

Review: I was scheduled to pick up my new vehicle on Monday July ** The deal we made fell apart . When I asked for a refund on my deposit of $299 I was told I will have later that day the deposit was given thru a debit card. I told them I wanted my refund now to swipe the card they said no I then proceeded to tell them I will complain to ford. I was then told I can have my deposit in two weeksDesired Settlement: Receive my refund in a timely manner

Review: Leased a 2014 Ford Escape. I was told I was getting a Four wheel Drive Ford Escape, I was given a Front Wheel Drive Ford Escape. I didn't see the truck prior to me picking it up, I was told it had to be made ready. When I picked the car up the window sticker had been removed and placed in the glove compartment, as I had been told the truck was a Four Wheel Drive by the salesman. I assumed it was a Four Wheel Drive Truck. 6 days later I find out it was a Front Wheel Drive. Dealership stated "there is nothing they can do about it". I would have not accepted the vehicle if I was told it was not a Four Wheel drive vehicle.Desired Settlement: I want Dana to accept this vehicle and give me the Four Wheel Drive vehicle I was told I was leasing.

Business

Response:

To Whom It May Concern,

On January [redacted] purchased a 2014 Ford Escape from Dana Motors. The customer inspected the vehicle, discussed the price difference of Front Wheel Drive vs. Four Wheel Drive and decided to buy Front Wheel Drive. The Customer then proceeded to sign a buyers order stating Front Wheel Drive. The dealership did not misrepresent the vehicle at all and the customer test drove the vehicle before purchasing it. The customer was fully aware the vehicle was front wheel drive and her husband even stated "you don't need four wheel drive you don't go anywhere when it snows.

Response:

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# [redacted], and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:

First we did not drive the car prior to taking it home, we drove a red one that had 4 wheel drive. the reason we did not take that one was we wanted black interior we went inside to check inventory for black interior and were told they had white or silver with black interior we took silver . we never talked about the price difference( we were asked if we would consider fwd) when we picked the silver my husband asked the salesman if it was fwd the salesman said 4 wheel. we never saw the car until after we signed all the papers then we were taken to the car it was not parked out front under the lights but instead it was around back in the dark next to the dumpsters making an inspection difficult also the only thing that would have told me it was not 4 wheel drive the sales sticker was already removed. I found it in the glove box later but never looked at it I had no reason to I was told it was 4 wheel drive, as an aside when we signed the papers someone had given us credit for a $300.00 deposit we immediately brought that to the attention of the [redacted] who commended us on our honesty . the car I returned was an escape with 4 wheel drive why would I take any less why would the salesman repeatedly tell me what a great deal it was that I got so much more car for the same money Dana can easily make this right take this car back and lease me the car they represented to me. [just responding to my complaint but not doing anything about it is not a resolution you say I knew I say I didn't. it seems to me that if it was some type of misunderstanding you would want to make a customer happy between me my husband and daughter thats the potential of leasing 3 cars every couple of years I can't understand the logic. Review: About 2 or 3 years ago I brought my Truck in Dana Ford because my knob for the heat and air conditioner wasn't working. I was not within my warranty so I paid out of pocket several hundred dollars to get this repaired. Now, 2 or 3 years later I am having the same problem. Dana Ford wants me to pay $821.00 for this repair that I had done once before. According to what I found out that day is now they repair it differently then when they repaired mine several years ago. Apparently they didn't repair it back then the way it should have been repaired.I am being told I am not under warranty, I understand that but I did pay for it to get fix once already I shouldn't have to pay for it again after 2 or 3 years and now it gets repaired differently. I have also been told there is no recall on this either.Desired Settlement: Since I already paid for this only a few years ago and now they change how they fix it, I want to have it repaired without me paying again.Thank you.

Review: Customer brought his vhicle for Technical service bulletin (TSB), covered under manufacturer warranty. Manufacturer authorized dealer performed TSB with improper repair. Customer did not accepted repairs on the first delivery. On a second delivery dealership did not fixed problems, when customer inspected repairs and did not wanted to accept improper repairs, dealership insisted that customer have to accept repair. More to come ,dealership damaged customers car interior ( scratched interior leather and plastic. Steering wheel was OFF center) and did not wanted to accept liability and repair damaged parts.

Review: I called the dealership in regard to my leased vehicle. I wanted to verify how many paymets were left on the lease as I wanted to make sure I had enough miles remaining to cover. I called the sales dept. and the person who answered the phone was named [redacted]. I asked to speak with the former person I dealt with who was also a [redacted]. I was informed he was busy. She told me she was in sales and asked what I needed help with. I let her know and she assured me she could help me. As this was important info I was actually recoeding the phone call. She assured me that I had 7 payments remaining. This info meant that I had a 36 month lease and was actually at about my mile limit. Solely because of this information, I went to a competitive companies dealership. I turned in my vehicle and leased a new one with the dealer agreeing to pay off my lease and that would factor into my new lease payment. I called Ford credit to let them know. To my shock, they informed me I actually had 11 payments left and the dealer gave me incorrect info, and I would be responsible for the 4 missing payments! Thats $1800.00! I called [redacted] and finally was able to speak with [redacted]. about what happened. His attitude was that it was my own fault and not theirs! After providing more details and offering to play him my recording of the phone call, he referred me to the [redacted]. This is where it gets worse. [redacted] told me he would get back to me. [redacted] calls me the next day and informs me that they are not going to help me at all. Even though I have it recorded, and I turned the car in solely because of the incorrect info, it was just a mistake. He said [redacted] should not have given me the info as she was the receptionist (another lie uncovered), but it was what he referred to as a non material sort of mistake so [redacted] would not take any responsibility. I let him know that I was pondering legal action, and he said have your lawyer call us and seemed to imply that " our pockets are deeper than yours."

I am absolutely stunned at this sort of brazen customer abuse and no consumer should ever be exposed to this sort of behavior.Desired Settlement: I am realistic and did not expect [redacted] to instantly say " So sorry we did that and we will cover the 4 payments for you." I did expect them to take responsibility for this huge error and cover 2 of the 4 payments still unaccounted for.

Review: 9-*-13 stop by dealership to purchase a new vehicle. prior to test drive informed sales rep I was looking at 3 cars and still had yet to test drive last one. test drove vehicle, liked it. sales rep ([redacted])said "what do I have to do to make you buy this car today?" I responded .9% finance rate for 60 months and I will give you 5000$ as a down payment. upon finance manager ([redacted]) took all my information ie copy of licence, registration of old vehicle that plates were being transfered from and my filled out credit application. when he returned he said I can do even better 0% financeing for 60 months and 1000$ off. I said great gave him a 500$ deposit on my debit card and returned tuesday with a bank check for the remaining 4575$(75$ for registration transfer. informed my sales rep richard I will pick the vehicle up on thursday after 5pm. at 3pm on thursday another finance rep calls me to tell me they can not honor the 0% finance rate and require a co-signer , they can only offer me 3.9%. I infirmed him that was not what we agreed upon and it was the sole reason I purchased the car, I should of been informed saturday if a co signer was needed , not 5 days later ,2 hours before I pick up my vehicle. very poor business practice in which I asked he return my deposit, to which he responded " that's not going to happen" so I hung up on him and went to the dealer. 3 people I explained they failed to uphold their end of the deal and I want my money returned, I do not want to do business with you. to which I was repeatedly replied, "there is nothing I can do I cant give you your money back" they lied repeatly about the finance rate, saying it was under fords controlled and then even tried to bully me , insisting that it was my fault. when I refused to waiver from my demands, I was treated even more rudely as finance mangers 1 and 2 stormed out of the office. finally I dealt with juan estrella, who heard my case and responded that accounting had left the the day on thursday(9-**-13) and provided me with his cell phone number , told me to give him a call on monday and I would be able to pick up a check on tuesday (9-**-13) because he needs to explain to his boss why they have to return my deposit. in summary 3 people authorized me a finance rate they were not authorized to , and it was the sole deciding factor of my car purchaseDesired Settlement: I want my money back and an apology from the owner, I run my own business and the customer service, sales practices and constant change of story here are an insult to consumers they have absolutely no honor or integrity. thank you for your time [redacted]

To Whom it May Concern,

In response to complaint# [redacted], [redacted] purchased a vehicle that qualified for 0% apr financing

for up to 60 months. In order to qualify for that financing you must be tier 0,1 or 2, unfortunately due to [redacted]’s

previous derogatory credit history he was originally declined. The dealership used their relationship with the primary

lender in order to get [redacted] approved but could not get his tier below tier 4, which resulted in a 3.9% rate

for 60 months. The dealership has offered to offset the difference and get the apr back down to 0% for 60 months

and will not be refunded any deposit to [redacted]. The only apologie due is [redacted] apologizing to

his previous creditors for his payment history or lack there of.

Review: 9.**.14. I bought a car Ford Transit 250 / Dana Ford Lincoln [redacted] ###-###-####.Seller name [redacted]. At the meeting, I told him my requirements to the car (Must be alarm, second-row seats and a rearview camera) .On by alarm he said that it is already installed in car, and the price for the second-row seats and a rearview camera will have to add to the price vehicle. He asked $ 2,800 for the seat and rear-view camera I bargained to 1500-1800 dollars can not remember the last scrip. We agreed that the seat and rear-view camera will be installed next week, because they do not have in stock. Next week, I called [redacted] to ask about the seats, cameras, and about alarm (As I discovered that the alarm is not yet installed)he set appointment and promised to double-check to see if the alarm or not. Then he called me back and said that the car is equipped immobilizer. But you must admit alarm and immobilizer are two different things. (This is the first CHEATING). When I brought the car to install the second row of seats and camera They have established the seat of the old model Ford is not the right color and material to other seats (This is the second CHEATING) .Rearview camera is not installed, as [redacted] explained it was broken and did not work . I set appointment again but then it was canceled, because it was not a specialist on this day .I realized that I was deceived, and I turned to [redacted]. He told me that I have a new car and if he will order the camera today, get it in March (This is the third CHEATING), he agreed to write me a check instead of the camera, but not today, tomorrow. A week later, he asked for another week. I'm tired of this deception contacted [redacted], His name is [redacted].He also began to play with me in the game (Call tomorrow), and so on for two weeks .Desired Settlement: I demand to reimburse me the money $1800 or install rear-view camera, second-row seats for Ford Transit. Alarm system I installed elsewhere (reimburse the money spent)$600 Total $2400

Review: where do I even start?upon purchasing the vehicle before I even left the sales lot there was a problem with the vehicle. I was told to come back 2 days later so the problem could be fixed. when I arrived they did not have the proper parts in order to fix the car. I was told to call 3 days later. when I called I was transferred about 6 different times and was told I would receive a call back to solve the issue. after going back and forth I had to return the the dealership on there time. now its a month later and after 3 different stories I haven't received the title or registration yet. every time I have to deal with this dealership its like no one knows how to do there job because there is always a different excuse in trying to solve the problem. I emailed the [redacted] to make my complaint because 2 weeks after driving the vehicle off the lot I had to take it to a local dealership to have the engine replaced!! how can they be selling certified pre-owned cars at this standard? this place is a jokeDesired Settlement: I traded a 2013 ford focus st with 6000 miles on it.. mint condition and they appraised my trade for the price of the new vehicle I purchased ([redacted]).. I strongly believe the new vehicle was NOT worth a lick of the $18886. i'm requested a CARFAX report so I can know what other problems I will be facing down the road.
