I wish I could put a negative 100 that would be my score. I advise anyone to please never ever buy a car from these people. They ripping people off to the max. They are telling people that they are financing cars when they giving you a lease contract. If any of you are paying high interest rates this is why. At the end of the day when and if you pay your car off. The bank will take the car back because it considered a lease. Which means you don't own the car. Also more of your monthly payment will go towards your interest rate instead of your actual payment. I want and wish that someone would cease there records and see how many customers they have ripped off. The Sheriff shut them down recently and confiscated there cars. Now we as consumers who just wanted to buy a car and spend our hard earned money to be robbed. Please help us there are soooo many of us that need help they were actually shut down 2times by the sherif and they are still open....

Review: I negotiated a deal with Jose, a sales manager at Dancys Auto Group of Great Neck LLC., on 06/**/2015 (i purchased a BMW 328i and traded in my 2010 Toyota Corolla). After speaking with Jose I then meet the finance representative Ray, who went over the final paperwork with the bank. [redacted] was the funding bank and offered me a 2.49% with my monthly payments being $509.77. I signed all the documents, received my copies and temporary vehicle registration, applied insurance onto the new BMW and drove off the lot with the vehicle the same day (06/**/15). I received phone call on 07/**/15 from Ray the finance rep at Dancy Autos stating that "I needed to come in because there was a problem, and when could I come in to discuss further details". I went to Dancy Auto shortly after receiving the phone call and arrived around 4:30pm on 7/**/15. Upon arriving I asked to speak the sale manager Jose, who sold me the car, and was informed by Ray that he was fired from the company because of lack of communication with customers. Ray then proceeded to inform me that the original contract is no longer being "funded" by the bank and the deal "fell apart" because [redacted] required that I put down $4,000. Ray then presented me a new contract with [redacted] Federal Union that displayed an increase in my monthly payments and the interest rate was almost double! I was unhappy with this deal and refused to sign the new contract offered by [redacted] on 7/**/15. I then requested to have my Toyota Corolla back and I would gladly give them the BMW 328 back. I was told to come back the following day (7/**/15). I arrived at Dancy Auto Group on 7/**/15 and felt like the entire staff including Ray, the finance rep, and the owner Tyrone tried to take advantage of me and strong arm me by telling me I could not get my car back and that they would be keeping both vehicles until I paid $1,000 worth of service repairs that was put into the Toyota Corolla plus an additional $500 for mileage put onto the BMW 328i! They waited 22 days after I drove off the lot to contact me about a problem with the original contract and then provided me with false service repair receipts. The service repair receipts showed a stamp marked paid on 07/**/2015. On 7[redacted]/15 I was at Dancys Auto and refused to sign the new [redacted] loan application. Dancys Auto should have never paid for repairs on the same day that I refused to sign the new loan!Desired Settlement: I just simply want my car back(Toyota Corolla) and give them back their vehicle (BMW) without having to pay anything! The reason the sale did not go through is based off a mistake that was made on their end and I should not have to suffer because of their negligence. The fact that they fired there own sales manager(JOSE) shows that their workers are not capable of following through with paperwork properly!

Response:

Hello.[redacted] purchased the vehicle on 6/**/2015. We received an approval from [redacted] and she took possession of the vehicle. The bank contacted us on the [redacted] saying they needed more money down. At this time we already started prepping [redacted]s car for sale. We invested the money to fix her vehicle so we ask if she wants to get her car back we are more then willing to give it back to her but she used that bmw for almost a month and we are not charging her for the wear on the vehicle such as tires or scratches but only for the miles she accumulated. We feel that this is fair because we have no say in what the bank does. We did manage to get her another approval with the amount of money she had but she did not want to take that.

Response:

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# [redacted], and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:

[Your Answer Here]

After contacting [redacted] they have informed me that received an application from the dealer on 6/**/2015 and told them I was approved for only $31,000 out of the requested amount of $34,000. [redacted] said they have not received and documents from Dancy Auto after 6/**/2015 and no one had contacted me in regards to this matter until 22days later on 7/**/2015. The reason why Dancy is just now informing me of this matter is because Sales manager JOSE was fired for misconduct and miscommunication with customers and the finance representative Ray was out on a two week vacation (my uncompleted application sat on his desk for two weeks) and returned back to work on 7/**/15 to find out no one had contacted me in regards to loan application. 7/**/2015 is also the same day I came into Dancy and refused to sign the new loan application from [redacted] because of the higher interest rate and payments. The two repair service invoices(only one receipt for $286.00 shows paid on 7/**/15)that were submitted with this claim will show you that Dancy Auto did not want to simply give me my car back based on "mileage" only but wanted me to pay for work that was not even paid for on the Toyota corolla. If Dancy auto will return back my car if I pay for the mileage that I put onto the BMW then I will gladly pay that and return them there vehicle. As noted on the repair invoices Tyrone, the owner indicated that he would charge me .25cents per mile which came out to be 301$ I will pay that even though they have keep my Toyota corolla for 24 days and has added over 500 miles as well.

In order for the Revdex.com to appropriately process your response, you MUST answer the question above.

Response:

Hello. I have attached the loan documents for the teachers loan and for the new loan we got her. The term is the same (72 months) and the payment is the same. She rejected this. I also attached the receipts for the work we had done to the corolla to get it ready for sale. She can keep the bmw or take her corolla back. If she decides to take the corolla back we will need to be compensated for the work we did to the vehicle. [redacted] said he will waive the 1204 miles she put on the vehicle.

Response:

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# [redacted], and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:

[Dancys Auto response yesterday on 7/23/15 was:“We invested the money to fix her vehicle so we ask if she wants to get her car back we are more then willing to give it back to her but she used that bmw for almost a month and we are not charging her for the wear on the vehicle such as tires or scratches BUT ONLY FOR THE MILES SHE ACCUMLATED. We feel this is fair because we have no say in what the bank does…” Today, July **, 2015 it is a different story because they want to gain more profit over an error that was made on their behalf! I agreed to pay for the mileage so I can receive my car back yesterday! But because that’s only $300 dollars worth of mileage compared to the $929.72 in “service repairs” they want to switch around what they would like to be compensated for. YOUR CON ARTISTES! And I shouldn’t have to pay for anything but I’m ONLY AGREEING TO PAY FOR THE .25CENT PER MILEAGE I PUT ONTO THE BMW IN ORDER TO GET MY CAR BACK.I also have no control over what the bank says but Dancy Auto employees get paid to stay on top of their paperwork, proper communication with customers, and banks! I contacted [redacted] more than four times to ask questions about my auto loan and their response each time was “we don’t have an auto loan for you in our system. We see an application inquiry made on 6/**/2015 but no follow-up paperwork has been sent over yet.” Jose, their former sales manager who sold me the car, (and whom they have since fired) told me that if I purchased the vehicle on 6/**/2015 he would pay off Junes car payment and my first payment for my new BMW would be on 7/**/15. I received a call on July **, 2015 from Toyota Financial telling me I was pass due on my monthly payments! I spoke with Toyota Financial Representative “Germany Agent ID[redacted]” who noted my account “that my car has been traded-in for almost* a month”. I was also informed at the time that Dancy Auto called on 6/**/2015 to request a payoff amount but never called anytime after that and that I was still responsible for monthly payments on the Corolla! I had to come out of my pocket $355 for Junes monthly payment even though I was promised I would not have to! You can see from the attached photos I contacted Jose (Dancys’ sale manager) multiple times via job phone and text messages and received no response! I have been given hell and the run-around since the day I left Dancy Auto on 6/**/2015! For someone to call me back 22 days later and tell me bad news is outrageous and no one should have to be put through this! Why would Dancy wait 15 days to service my vehicle but not contact [redacted] to see why they have not received a check for their $33,000 vehicle? As for the service receipt, the ONLY one that is valid is the one stamped “PAID 7/**/2015” in the amount of $246.95. Why are there two different receipts and there both not stamped paid for on 7/**/2015? Why was there work done to the Toyota on two different days, 7/**/15 & 7/**/15? Why would you pay for something in full on the same day that I declined* to sign the new [redacted] Federal Credit loan presented to me? Why did Dancy Auto of Great Neck service my vehicle BEFORE sending out the proper paperwork to DMV for me to receive my vehicle Registration? The finance representative Ray, at Dancy Auto should have contacted the [redacted] himself instead of waiting for [redacted] to call him with a check! Why did the finance rep, Ray stay on top of his job? If Dancy paid around $26,250 for the BMW at an auction, why would you wait longer than and 14days for [redacted] to cut you a check if the loan was approved? You hound me down and try to force me to sign a new contract (with a higher payment and almost double interest rate) but don’t go after a bank immediately for payment after an approved loan goes through? This is a YO-YO SCAM. The [redacted] Federal Credit Union contract Dancy Auto attached a document is NOT the one that was presented to me and I have attached the correct forms. Notice on my form the Loan date was for 7.**.2015, which is the date I have been saying all along, is the same day I refused to sign the new [redacted] contract. I have also attached a copy of the new bill of sale dated on 07/**/2015 that I refused to sign! *note my signature is next to the original bill of sale but not the new bill with a payment of $515.31 @ 72months. I went to Dancy for the second time on 07/**/2015 since 6/**/15 and refused to sign the new [redacted] contract (higher payment and interest rate than original 6/**/15 contract) and requested my car to be returned to me immediately! This is when they tried to scam me into paying $1500 in service repairs to my Toyota corolla or they will keep both vehicles! This particular incident on 07/**/2015 is why I am reaching out to the Revdex.com.Dancy has done everything to create more bills for me and more revenue for their greedy pockets! They have done NOTHING to satisfy me as a customer even though they are the one who slacked on their job! I AM ONLY AGREEING TO PAY FOR THE .25CENT PER MILEAGE I PUT ONTO THE BMW IN ORDER TO GET MY CAR BACK AND SATISFY THIS DISPUTE.]

Review: I purchased a vehicle from this company at the beginning of February 2015. Before l I purchased the vehicle I was lied to and l told it was in perfect condition had only 11,000 miles and I will be very happy with the vehicle. I was also told it would be detailed inside and out before it arrived to my house in [redacted]. Once it arrived the rims were completely scratched up, the alignment was off, there was no detailing whatsoever, there were cigarette butts inside of the vehicle and it had 1000 more miles than advertised. Once I brought this up to the dealer they completely ignored my request to refund me money for a detail, fixing the rims And the extra 1000 miles (which layer I realized they forget my signature next to the extra miles). Once I became extremely upset I was finally able to talk them into giving me $500 Even though $1000 seemed fair. It took them a month to get me a check for the refund after numerous ignored calls and texts and many promises I would get the money tomorrow . Once I finally receive the $500 I realized that our DMV still have not received the paperwork after 60 days. I called Dancy automotive and they said there was an error on the paperwork that they just NOW noticed. Now I'm returning back to the DMV for another 30 day extension and they told me within a week the paperwork will be at the DMV. This has been the worst representation of a vehicle I have ever purchased in my life. Dancy automotive is the shadiest and I will never deal with them again. BEWARE!Desired Settlement: I expect an apology in the form of a letter not only for the time and energyI've had to put into this vehicle purchase but for the forgery they thought I wouldn't notice next to the extra 1000 miles. I am also demanding full service complimentary detailing for a location in [redacted] of my $100,000 vehicle, since it was promised to me that that would be done prior to receiving the vehicle. I am not a smoker so the fact that there were cigarette butts and ash indicating someone was smoking in the vehicle is absolutely unacceptable. I was also lied to and told that the car still had a brand new car smell, which it obviously didn't. I expect this in 2 weeks time.

[redacted] informed us a few days after taking delivery of his vehicle that there were 3 lug nuts missing from a tire on his car. He claimed he bought the car that way and we should replace them. We informed [redacted], it could have been a vandalism attempt to steal his wheels. He informed [redacted] that it was impossible. We informed him the car was thoroughly inspected by a NYS inspection station but we would reimburse him for $15 if he would purchase from an autoparts store. He then called [redacted] and said his friend went to a bmw dealer for himself and [redacted] had him purchase lugs for himself at the cost of $75. [redacted] informed him our agreement was for $15. He disagreed only on the basis that it was convenient that his friend was going to bmw anyway. It was our initial agreement to pay $15 and we will still honor our agreement. When [redacted] signed his paperwork we gave him copies of his warranty information but he is more than welcome to come back for a copy of the paperwork.

Sincerely,

I would to remove the complaint I had made against dancy automotive group due to a misunderstand of whom suppose to issue the warranty insurance, they explain to me that matter was directly with the bank which I did not know and they will issue me my refund check I am please with the results. thank you

Review: There are so many things to say but we can only mention whats need to handled now, so I bought a car from dancy automotive after looking at it online. Purchased the car same day as visit. The sales person was very nice but didn't make much knowledge of the Vechile. He told us the car might come with manuals and 2 keys and all that good stuff. So I ended up getting no manual and 1 key for the car. They told me they would have another key made for me for the price of 150$, which was reasonable. There was a part of the car that had a scratch and [redacted] the sales person said that would be fixed by the time we picked up the car which wasnt, So after I picked up the car and a week passed by I noticed some faults, so I contacted [redacted] and told him the issues. The issues were : Manual books

Touch Paint (Front right side)

Lifting Mount (Missing on right front)

Fogs Lights (one from each side works)

Brakes (Makes noise all times)

Steering Wheel (Too firm)

HeadLights (Right & Left)

Tail Light Reflector (Left cracked)

Old Wipers (front & Rear)

So after I told him the issues he had advised me to bring in the car which I did and after getting there he himself checked out the car and advised me again to bring in the car some other day to have it serviced. Since it was a bad weather I didnt make an appointment till Monday February [redacted] , so I got to dancy auto motive at 9 am. I was told to leave my keys with the staff due to [redacted] being delayed , so before I even handed the keys I showed the gentle man that was going to take my car to service the problems and I also double checked myself to see everything was in great shape. So I was suppose to receive my car the same day which I didn't , so I had to pick it up tuesday February [redacted] when I noticed the car had damages " Deep Scratches on the right side of the bumper" then I was horrified and asked [redacted] where did those scratches come from , I told him those werent there when I dropped the car and he tried to cover it up by saying look look its not a fresh scratch, only a person like would say it, so I kept telling him he had to find out what happened and I told him aswell that me and the other gentleman that I left the car with went over with all the repairs needed to be done and did not see that at the time. So I questioned him why is it there now. He said he will look into it. They honestly didn't even "service" my car , I know when they left my car in there parking lot somebody must of hit it and scratched my car due to the impact. Also none of my problems with the car was resolved. So before I left I asked him again was everything resolved with my car and he said yes, which was a lie because after going to home my head lights shut off so I called [redacted] and sent him a picture via texting showing him. So I got fed up and took it to a repair shop and where I was told the light bulbs were old and needed replacement and also my mechanic told

Me the steering was firm and needed steering fluid , in which Dancy Auto motive couldn't resolve. I called [redacted] asking him if there were new head light bulb installed and he said yes but that was lie because I told him and after hanging up sent him pictures of the old headlight bulbs. After I kept texting him and trying to resolve this issue and he never replied to calls or messages. As a business they are scamming me after buying the car, I am very disappointed this had to occur . I want these problems to be resolved asap.Desired Settlement: I want my front bumper to be fixed where the scratches are and not just touch up

Painted , I want it correctly resolved like when I left my car.

Also want them to fix all

Touch Paint (Front right side)

Replace missing Lifting Mount Right front

Fogs Lights (one from each side works)

Noise when braking

Tail Light Reflector (Left cracked)

REPLACE WIPERS

And also want reimbursement for the things I purchased to have the car running in which they should have fixed that day.

Steering fluid - 13$

Headlight bulb - 28$

And also the keys and manual which was suppose to come with the car that I was promised.

Response:

Hello,

We are working with [redacted] to have this issue resolved. He agreed to bring his vehicle in so we can have this issue taken care of. He said he will close this case.

Review: There are so many things to say about this dealership and the lack of professionalism they lack once the consumer buys a car from them and the deal is closed. I purchased a 2010 Mercedes Benz E350 on April **, 2015 from Ken the sales guy, after having the car for about a month the car was having issues starting, and also service light came on. I emailed Ken on June **, 2015 @ 1:07pm and again at 3.27Pm and never received a response about the starting problem along with a few other issues he still did not take care of. A few of the issues were before purchasing the car I pointed out the cracked Mercedes grill in the front of the car, the two tires that had rips in it (two back tires) , the tire a bubble in it (front passenger side). Ken response was and I quote “don’t worry about all that, that will be taken care of, just bring the car back to the mechanic” I agreed because we closed the deal pretty late and the company was closing for the day. My boyfriend and I bought the car in the following Monday (April **, 2015) to get the tires changed. ONLY the front passenger side and back passenger side was changed. On Tuesday morning the tire light came on for the back passenger side. I called Ken and told him about the tire and he informed me that the tires were brand spanking new which in fact was a lie because the dates on the tires were from 2013. I took the tires to [redacted] and the sales guy said the tire had a pin size hole in it and it cannot be patched. Danny automotive refused to change the tires because again they said the tires were brand new as I stated earlier they were not. I ended up buying a newer tire for the back passenger side (2014) because after driving around with the pin hole for about a month I was frustrated putting air in my tires every morning before work. Now lets get to the grill and the car not starting. On Monday April **, 2015 when we bought the car in to get the tires done Ken told us to either go to a Mercedes Benz dealership or look on [redacted] for a grill and Dancy would take care of it. I went to a Mercedes Benz Dealership in [redacted] and they quoted me $750 for a OEM grill which I thought was a little pricy so I found a few aftermarket grill on [redacted] and [redacted] for a lot cheaper. They were between $170 and $200. On June **, 2015 I text Ken a few photos of the grill I founded, he did not respond. On June **, 2015 I visited Dancy and Ken told me his number was change so he did not received the pictures of the grills, or the video I texted of the car not starting on Monday June [redacted] at 3:51pm. Which was another lie because the same day I had a diagnostic done ( came back that the starting was due to the ignition switch) at the Helms Mercedes Benz dealership which is located just a few miles down from Dancy and Jack G[redacted] from Helms dealership contacted Ken on the same number I text the pictures and videos, Jack said he PICKED UP and was very rude and kept saying its passed 90 days and they ( Dancy is not responsible); it was not passed 90 days or over 4,000 (NYC used car Lemon Law), in fact Ken was aware of the problem from June **, 2015 when I sent the email out which was only 24 days of having the car. And since then I have both spoken to and text Ken though the same number which was apparently out of service. Due to being frustrated with the run around and the back and forth of driving to the dealership I had my boyfriend speak to the Manager, the Manager said they had a bus boy who had a connect with [redacted] and that we should drop the car off at Dancy and they would take care of it. On Wednesday July [redacted], 2015 I went on Vacation and my boyfriend tried to drop the car off. He was told that He had to drive to Huntington to speak to Ron (the connect guy). That was not successful because today is July **, 2015 and still no result with the car. I went on Vacation hoping that my car would be fixed when I came back which was what Ken promise and I am back after 6 days facing the same problem. Ron is not picking up my phone calls and Dancy is still giving the run round. As far as the grill being fixed that is not done at yet either. According to Ken the dealership is only willing to go half on the grill, because they now have to fix my car due to not starting, regardless of the starting issue, that is not what we discuss prior to purchasing the car. Its frustrating to keep going back forth with this dealership that scam consumers into buying a car and don’t want to fix the problem when they occur.Desired Settlement: I want a refund for the entire car and I want the car I traded in back, or ALL issues listed in claim to be repaired.

Review: I purchase a used 2009 Mercedes Benz vehicle on July [redacted] 2014. During the negotiations of the purchasing the vehicle, the salesman garanteed that there would be warranty for up to 1 year. I have ask for a copy of the warranty on many occasions and there was always a story or an excuse. They gave me a temporary registration sticker, which expired 30 day after purchasing the vehicle. As the time got close I realize I hav not received the registration in the mail, I began calling. Everytime I called, the response was it will be in the mail tommorrow. My registration never came til 4 weeks after the expired date. I got 8 tickets for expired registration, which they promised to pay. (STILL WAITING) Three weeks after purchasing the vehicle, it starting making strange noises while driving. I returned the vehicle and the kept it for four days, after saying it will only take a day or two. I expressed that this really an inconvenience and is a loaner or rental possible? The answer was NO. Upon picking up the vehicle they said they change shocks and rotors and the changed the two front tires. One month after the car starting making a loud idling noise and vibrating while the car was idling. When turn turning the steering while left or right the noise and the vibration became even louder. I took the car back again the assured me a day or two. On the fourth day I called to confirm picking up the car, I was told the car was not ready. I expressed to the salesman I needed some kind of reimbursement for the rental that I ended up in for seven days. He went ahead an told me he is fixing my car for free and its costing him $3000,00. This is where the warranty is suppose to have taken effect. So long story short, I was sold the car under false pretenses. I picked up the car the problem exist even louder. There was never any warranty on the car. I spoke to the manager [redacted] and his answer to everything was(he doesnt know what transpired) between the salesman and I. UNACCEPTABLE. I need some kind of resolution.Desired Settlement: A replacement vehicle with no problems or the warranty I was promised and the car fixed properly.

I was collecting money and managing my finances for the car, and he contacted me on the 03/**/2014 regarding 2013 Dodge Challenger Red line limited edition. He quoted me a price of $21000 plus tax, whereas, the online price of the same car on their website is $18998. I confronted him with the situation and he told me that he didn't know about the rest of the fees and other expenses, but the dealer's description online says NO FEES! Secondly, he told me that he can sell the car at whatever price he wants regardless of what's online. Thirdly, he told me that the online pricing of $18998 is includes repeating customer discount of 10% and because I was a first time customer, the car for me would have been for $21000. There was no such information mentioned on their listing. I was low on finances and struggling to manage the money, but still I wanted to purchase a car like that for my brother and if he would have told me that the car is for $18998, I wouldn't have had to go through all the mental stress as it would have been a little easier for me. [redacted] mislead me and still tried to convince me to buy the car at $21000. I believe that this is a case of false advertising and selling and [redacted] and Dancy Automotive Group should be taken an action against.Desired Settlement: I want then to sell me the same car (2013 Dodge Challenger) at my desired price that is, $10000 or I would like to sue the company since they were baiting and trapping me to buy the car with false pricing, advertising and personal communication to make more money than the online price and that's an offence.

Response:

[redacted],

[redacted] contacted Dancy Auto to make two (2) appointments to view two (2) of our automobiles at different times. Upon making these appointments, [redacted] was given the option to visit our store that same day. [redacted] declined the offer; and informed us that he lived too far away to make the commute that day. (Dancy Auto is ten minutes away from [redacted]’s place of residence).

By the time [redacted] finally made it to our store, neither of the vehicles were available. [redacted]’s delay in coming to the store was the sole reason he was unable to make the purchase of either car.

After learning that both of his vehicles of choice were unavailable, [redacted] proposed that we sell him a 2013 DODGE as a replacement for the vehicles he had missed out on. Incidentally, this would mean selling [redacted] a $20,000 vehicle for $10,000.00. We informed him immediately that this would not be possible as the dealership would suffer a major loss if we obliged his request.

While we are not able to accommodate [redacted]’s present request, Dancy Automotive Group is more than willing to assist [redacted] in locating & selling him a similar vehicle at fair market value.

All the best,

Review: I went in looking for a Car and I chose one it was a 2012 Mercedes Benz GLK350, when I negotiated with [redacted] and the salesperson [redacted], I got the price down to 28,003 with a trade in of my other vehicle. So the total price of the car was 28,998 including all taxes, fees, and bank aquisition fee. So when I went in to finance the vehicle the accountant ([redacted]) and [redacted] ([redacted])were harrassing me about a extended warranty and coming up with all these extra fees, where me and my family were extremely offended and they wouldnt take a no for an answer. I was extremely upset after all of this because they kept talking to me in a condescending manner and when told [redacted] no, I heard him curse under his breath. [redacted] and the accountant kept lowering the price of the service plan from 70 dollars all the way to 3 dollars a month, In order to keep them from harrasing me and my famile even more I agreed to thier 3 dollar a month plan because I thought it was only 3 dollars extra a month for 72 months, which would end up being only $216, instead it costing me around $6000 !!!! I was very upset because I came in wanting to buy a car under 30,000 but I was forced to pay more than $37000. This is unbelievable, I spent 6 hours at thier showroom telling them I dont want warranty or anything extra but they lied to me about the monthly payment. Instead of telling me what I was supposed to pay monthly which is around $430 they are telling me that I have to pay 523 a month without warranty and 525.11 with warranty, thus tricking me and making me think that the price of the warranty is only a extra 3 dollers a month, whereas It was actually a extra 96 dollers on my monthly payment. I went to the showroom today and they made me and my son wait 45 min to talk with them even though there were no customers, (they were all discussing something and joking around) so finally when I went to talk with ([redacted]) I told him that I wanted to cancel the warranty and they are saying that they will not do it. In the end he said he will take the warranty off only if you pay 35,000 for just the car. That was insane, so I spoke to [redacted] ([redacted]) and he said that he will give me a refund and my old car back and he will cancel the entire deal. So a few minuted later the sales people and the maneger were having another discussion, so another gentleman came up to me saying that he sold my old car and he would not cancel the deal, (I sold the car to them Saturday evening and by Monday morning they are telling me that the car was sold). I spent over 8 hours in their showroom and I am very upset and disatisfied, they took my $28,998 car and they made it $37,807 by tricking me. I am unable to pay this much and I feel very offended after going through this entire process. I have bought over 10 cars new and used in my lifetime and I have never ever faced a problem like this. This is a immoral thing to do.Desired Settlement: I want a refund for the entire car and I want the car I traded in back, or the price that I agreed too in the beggining. Which was 28,998 for the car including tax and bank fee.

Response:

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me and the matter has been resolved.

Sincerely,

Review: I drove 4 hours and spent over 5 hours at [redacted] Automotive Group in [redacted] trying to purchase a 2013 Nissan Pathfinder. My salesperson was [redacted] and the man handling the financing was [redacted]. Basically, [redacted] lied to me about how the financing of 2 insurances I had to purchase in order to get a decent financing rate on my loan were processed onto my paperwork. I have been in touch with the dealership and have been talking to [redacted] and we were trying to reach a new agreement amicably. But after 3 full days of stalling and excuses, I finally asked for some more copies of paperwork that I never received and a resolution to this matter otherwise I would contact the Revdex.com, Dept. of Motor Vehicle and Attorney General. He then said he will give me nothing and he'll contact their lawyer who would be in touch with me. He would not give me the lawyers name.

Here is the email I sent [redacted] when we were negotiating.

October **, 2013

Dear [redacted],

Thank you for handling this matter and I hope that we can come to a resolution.

After 5.5 hours at your Great Neck dealership with [redacted] and [redacted], this is what my friend and I left the dealership agreeing to.

[redacted] explained the financing:

Only 1 Option Offered– Gateway at 3.99%-4.99 % depending on term of loan but with a buy down rate to 1.99 % if I took Gap/ Roadside Insurance

- [redacted] said there is a penalty for paying off this loan. I asked him what the penalty was and he would not tell me. I asked for another finance option with a higher rate without a penalty fee for paying off early or refinancing and he said then he would charge an extra $2000 for the car.

The deal I agreed to was putting $5000 additional down off the purchase price of the car which put my financing at $19,417 . I would never have agreed to and did not agree to a $24,437 loan.

Purchase price $27,992 - $4000 trade in = $23,992 + $425 in fees = $24,417 - $5000 personal cleared check = $19,417

- I had already got approval for a loan with my bank for $19000 for 60 months at 1.75% with a payment of around $330 per month prior to coming down there.

When [redacted] said my payment will be around $360 a month for 6 years, which is an extra year from what I was quoted with my bank and the price was so much more, I questioned [redacted] on that and he said” That’s because the gap and roadside insurance was included in the $360 payment per month because I had to pay for that.”

19,417 divided by 72 months = $269.68 Base

19,417 X 1.99% = $386.40 divided by 12 months = $32.20 interest

269.68 + 32.20 = $301.88 monthly payment

My monthly payment with insurance $360.37 (with interest and options) - $301.88 (base) = $58.49 extra in monthly payment for gap and road insurance.

??[

[redacted] would not put the $5000 check on the purchase and sale agreement to bring the price to $19417 until the check cleared hence 2 purchase and sales agreements signed until it cleared. He would not let me fill in any of the blank information on any of the other forms I signed. He said once my personal check cleared, the $5000 would be put onto the purchase and sale agreement under the cash deposit submitted with the order. It still is not on there. Only one form was filled out and that was the purchase and sale agreement which was done by hand. The retail installment contract was blank when I signed it and I was told by him it was just basic information that was going to be filled in based on my purchase and sale agreement.

I asked for copies of what I had signed before leaving multiple times and that I wanted the paperwork filled out and he said he can’t do that until my check clears. I told him never had I bought a car and not received any copies of what I had signed and filled out. According to the installment contract written right on the contract I had a right to all of that filled in with the correct numbers and a copy of it but he kept telling me no not until the check clears and would not do it and give it to me.

I have a witness who was with me and can confirm the above conversation.

None of paperwork has matching numbers. None of the paperwork has the $19, 417 financing price that was agreed upon.

Here is the communication between [redacted] Automotive and I since October *, 2013

Friday October *, 2013 – Talked to [redacted] and told him after talking to people I had a right to everything I signed. He said he would call finance dept. and have them fax it to me that afternoon. It never happened.

Monday October **, 2013 – Called [redacted] who was the original guy I was in touch thru via email about coming down to look at the car. He said that once the check clears he will personally overnight me the paperwork. And that it should be by Thursday.

On Tuesday October [redacted] – My checked cleared my bank. [redacted] from Gateway bank called me and left messages on both my phones. Then I talked to [redacted] my salesperson who was pushy and adamant that I call him right away. I told him I had just gotten home. I called [redacted], while the same witness who was with me during the sale was sitting here and on speakerphone, [redacted] gave me the final financing number of $19,437 which I approved. And yet now it’s in the system for $24,437.

No paperwork came all week.

Monday October **, 2013 – Called [redacted] and said you never sent my paperwork. He checked and said financing shows check not cleared. I said it cleared on the [redacted] and faxed him a copy of check, which processed on the [redacted] of October.

Thursday October **, 2013 – Received via regular mail not overnighted , the retail installment contract with the wrong numbers on them and no other signed paperwork. Called [redacted] who told me to contact [redacted] in finance department because [redacted] was off.

Thank you [redacted] for handling this matter.

On Friday October **,2013 he said he was going to contact the bank and try to come to some resolution with a new financing option and also an option with a cash price for my car with me doing my own financing up here. After talking to my bank on Monday they told me GAP insurance should only cost around $400 and not $3000. And that I am allowed to cancel those insurances at any time. So when I didn't hear from [redacted] by Monday October **, 2013 in the afternoon I called him and asked him where we were at and he said he was still waiting to hear from the bank supervisor and I asked him for a copy of the gap insurance and the receipt for that to be faxed to me and he started to say he sent my file back to [redacted] because he wanted to see it and possibly call me and he'll get it back from him and fax it to me. (Which I know was stalling and there was no reason for [redacted] to call me because I would not speak to him anymore after his degrading comments). I said ok. By Tuesday October **,2013 in the afternoon I still had heard nothing and received no fax of this GAP policy and receipt. So I called [redacted] and left a message to call me. Then I went onto [redacted] and saw that there were mixed reviews but many were about them changing paperwork and the numbers on them as well as the fact that when there was an issue [redacted] Automotive stopped communication with the customer. So after reading that, I sent [redacted] the following email.

Hi [redacted],

I haven't heard from you and have left a message. I have asked for a copy of this gap agreement I have been told by you that I have and yet I still don't have a copy of it or a receipt. I have found out that gap insurance runs around $400 not $3000. So at this point I am actually wondering if I really have that insurance. I want a copy of that insurance either emailed to me or faxed at ###-###-#### by the end of the day today Tuesday October **,2013.

I was also supposed to have had my plates and registration overnighted to me since I paid for that and was told I couldn't do it myself. The temporary registration expires in 10 days.

I have given you 3 full business days to come up with a solution. You said you were waiting for a response from a supervisor at the bank, when I called there last week I was put through to one immediately. So either we bring this to a quick resolution based on the 2 options we discussed on Friday by tomorrow Wednesday October **, 2013 or I will start filing complaints with the Revdex.com, the Dept. Of Motor Vehicles and the Attorney General.

Thank You,

And then this email.

Hi [redacted],

I came across this and many others on cars.com. Thought it would interest you because it did me because there seems to be a theme.

worst experience ever

by [redacted] from new york, NY | August **, 2013

all I can say is stay away from them-unless you want to loose an extra 3-4 k on buying a car. I met this sales guy, [redacted]- he will serve you blunt lies and phoney fees. On the precontract they gave me a final price, then next day it was a 3k more. His explanations made no sense. Apparently, my cash down were an "investment" and did not subtract from the total price of the car, on the contrary, it was added. On top of that, on the sale contract it was a specific LX model while on the credit application he entered the specifications for the EX-L model with leather and navigation system , not true to reality. When asked about this, he said it was not relevant- it was " internal". On top of that, I signed up for extended warranty for 700$, then next day he said it was in fact 3000$- and that was an "error". That after mentioning he was a "perfectionist". Bottom line, stay away or hire a lawer, which I am in the process of doing and go back to them. These guys will rip you off! No respect, no customer service! avoid, avoid, avoid.

[redacted] then called me right away saying he tried calling me all day which was a lie because I was home and after 4-5 rings the calls are forwarded to my cell phone. He then started saying well I don't know. And then says that he was trying to work with me and come up with a resolution but because I threatened him he was sending it to their lawyer. I asked again for this GAP insurance paperwork and he refused to send it to me and send the lawyer would. I said I have a right to that paperwork since I paid for this insurance, he would not send it to me.

So at that point since there was no more negotiations I immediately cancelled the road/tire insurance which should be credited towards my loan with Gateway Bank by [redacted] in 3-4 weeks.

And I have still heard nothing from their lawyer.

So now I am contacting you at the Revdex.com.Desired Settlement: I want proof of this GAP insurance and a receipt that it was purchased for $3000 and then this Gap insurance cancelled and the $3000 credited to my current loan with Gateway One Lending and Finance, which will bring my car loan to the agreed amount of $19,437!

Response:

I bought a car from dancy auto and after I bought the car, I realized the back tires were close to bald. They so called did an inspection the day I bought it but if they never check the tires, I am sure they never checked anything else is illegal. The main problem is they never submitted the paperwork for my car to the [redacted] so I can't drive the car legal so that messes up everything. I will change my review after I received my offical [redacted] registration

Review: Unfortunately this business takes advantage of honest trusting people that are exited to get a new car.

I saw a car that I liked and I stopped to purchase it. Myself and a salesman agreed on a price and this is what I thought I was going to pay.

I was wrong.

After they run the paper works I got charged over 6000 dollars extra.

I went back to discuss what happened thinking it was a mistake.

I got the run around and a million of excuses.

and I really felt that this guys are been dong this all the time and they got away with it.

On top of that my car is not really what I was expecting and it has problems already.

On Tuesday I returned the car because it had problems and Friday I was back in with another problem and still they have not fix it.

Wow!Desired Settlement: I should be refunded of my money because the car it is not what I was expecting.

I should get my trade in car back.

Really I will like to see these guys not doing this to other customer again.

Hello,[redacted] purchased a Warranty at the cost of $6000. If he wishes to cancel the warranty we can have that processed. He brought the vehicle in with an issue with the oxygen sensor and it was resolved.

Review: On 12/**/2013 I purchased a used 2009 Landrover. At that time I was sold an extended warranty for an additional $3,500.00. I received a letter from the warranty company stating that the warranty was not in effect, and no claims could be made becasue no vehicle inspection and condition report was provided by the dealer. I have called the dealer and e-mailed the dealer several times (8+) to obtain the conditon and inspection report with no follow up on their part.Desired Settlement: I paid $3,500.00 for a warranty that is invalid, I would like a refund and I will purchase my own warranty.

Business

Response:

Hello, [redacted] spoke with [redacted] and his wife regarding the warranty purchase. He informed [redacted] that if he wants to keep it, he would have to comply with the warranty company for the inspection. If he was not satisfied with doing an inspection we would provide him with another warranty company. We also told him we would also do a formal cancellation for the full refund credited to his finance agreement. He agreed and was satisfied.
