DataCaptive helping my business a lot, I highly recommend it ð??ð??

Dc is improving its services. I can say so because this was our second purchase with them. Compared to our previous experience, they have improved their efficiency and delivery speed.
Good work

My company had a very negative experience with DataCaptive. They delivered only half the number of contacts that were paid for and then refused to refund us for the difference. The list received had lots of redundancies, required extensive cleaning, and data was badly out-of-date for many contacts. Much of the information was completely off-target; we were looking for contact data for potential customers in pharmaceutical, cosmetic, and food industries but the list from DataCaptive included airplane manufacturer, tractor companies, and several municipal sherrif departments. Rather than simply refunding us for the incomplete delivery, they made several odd and suspicious offers for additional services they would give us for free.

Overall, extremely unprofessional and dishonest - they took the money and ran.

I wonder why there are few negative regarding the data that datacaptive provides because I've had a good experience with them. DC has been my data provider since quite a while and I have never faced any issue with them or the data. Instead their customer support has helped me every time I had any confusion. So I would suggest you to approach them through live chat as it makes the process faster.

Revdex.com requires one star but I'm doing this under protest.

I received multiple e-mails from them, and deleted them. I even wrote back to "Kevin Dean," a Business Development Manager, and told him to delete me from their database.

Two days later, I got an invoice for $8,000 for "Data Direct: Data as a Service_Email." I called and got an off-shore service center representative, and explained that I didn't order the service and, as a small business in the HR Consulting field, have no need for it. They agreed to cancel it. I am still waiting for the e-mail confirming the cancellation.

My next call will be to the Attorney General for the state of California.

We paid DataCaptive for database work they said they had the ability to complete for us. They didn't do the work and have not refunded our money.
On January 31st we contracted for 1 million database record appends at a full price of $***, with client append assignments to be returned to us in 4-5 business days. $*** was paid upfront via funds transfer, as DataCaptive would not accept credit card payment. The remaining $*** was agreed to be paid by April 1, 2019.

In subsequent days we submitted client data files to be appended on the following dates:

February 15, 2019
February 19, 2019
February 22, 2019 (2 client files sent)
February 25, 2019
February 26, 2019
February 27, 2019 (2 client files sent)
February 28, 2019 (3 client files sent)
March 1, 2019 (2 client files sent)

It was not until March 5th when the first files were remitted back to us and they were a disaster. Less than 1% of the contacts promised were returned. Most of the overdue files were not sent back.

On March 8th, *** and I agreed to a test that would hopefully alleviate the problems they were having doing the appends. If it worked we agreed to keep going, if it didn't *** agreed to provide us with a refund.

By March 13th, over 1 month after our first orders had been placed, we still had not received a single fulfilled order or had one that was even close to being finished. On this day we asked *** for the promised refund and provided our banking information for an electronic transfer.

On March 21st we were contacted by ***, ***. He also agreed to the refund and we talked of possible collaborations. We said that if they could get their software working we were still open to giving them another try. He asked for me to work through *** for the refund.

On Friday March 22nd *** emailed "Sorry for delayed response, I am out of office till Wednesday. But I have received your Bank details, will process it as soon as I reach office."

The next weeks were a cat and mouse game of DataCaptive avoiding paying the refund, making excuse after excuse.

On April 23rd we received the following email from ***:
"***,

I am really sorry that I missed out in communicating with you. I was instructed to give you a confirmation that we will agree to process your refund by the end of this month. Due to my personal negligence, it is a humble request not to punish the company. We as a company are willing to the right thing and are willing to take decisions as per your comfort level. I understand there has been already some delay in relaying the information. I will be calling you later this evening if you are available.

Again, I am really sorry that you had to go through all this."

On April 29th *** reiterated payment plans:

"We will be making the refund by the 1st week in May. I understand things are not going according to the plan, but we are willing to make things work for both of us. Kindly allow us for same."

On May 7th *** wrote:

"We have processed the payment. It will reflect your account soon."

On May 9th with no payment received, after attempts to get payment details, *** responded with:

"I did check with the accounts team, they have done the transaction from their end.

These were all lies.

On May 16th *** wrote:
"I got an update from the accounts department; the payment was approved, but due to shortage of funds this month, they have not processed the payment. They will process by next month. I would like to apologies for same."

On May 17th a $*** payment of the $*** due was received.

The remaining balance of $*** is still outstanding.

Desired Outcome

I want DataCaptive to promplty refund the remaining $*** that they've said they are goiong to pay months ago.

The issue has been resolved

Datacaptive has helped a lot in my business. Will definately continue using it. very good service.

DataCaptive is the perfect lead generation solution for every business. It has helped me a lot in my and I am looking forward to continue my journey with them.

I had a lot of issues and difficulties in connecting with my target audience but DataCaptive has rendered outstanding service . There database is very reliable and accurate. thank you DataCaptive.

Provided a faulty/unusable data list, and will not refund purchase as stated in initial email.
Requested a data list for the purpose of recruitment. Was given a list which did not provide the requested information to be able to utilize it for recruitment. Was not given all information requested, subsequently requested a refund which was denied. In the inital email with this company I questioned previous bad Revdex.com reviews on this such instance. They assured we would be satisfied and could trust their company and if we were not they would fix or refund. When speaking to ***- the companies rep to handle the issue he stated that they typically do not handle what I was asking for the and the information I requested and required was rather hard for them to obtain. I then requested a refund to which he said they would not grant. This company has unprofessional business practices, and advertises that they provide a quality service which they do not do.

Desired Outcome

We are seeking a refund in full of the $300 which was sent by check ( we have documentation of) and cashed by their business.

The client had requested for the list: CDS class A drivers which was delivered as per the request. After we delivered the file. The Client said she wanted personal numbers of the people for which we mentioned she had never requested for. The client very rudely informed us that she is not happy with the file as she wanted personal numbers. we informed her that we specialize in the B2B industry, but we still wanted to help the client and offered her other contact list which was relevant to her business. Plus, we also offered her refund of the credits in her account with us.

Customer Response • May 28, 2019

(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
The company did not provide the Personal home address, phone number or personal email of CDL Class A, not CDS drivers. What I was given was the number to the present company they work for. When you are calling to try and recruit someone to change companies and work for your company you cannot call their present employer to do this. Additionally the people which we are looking for drive tractor trailers, they do not work in an office to be reached at their current employer. Data Captive has no experience with providing Driver leads for the transportation industry, and do not understand what CDL means or what these drivers do. Instead of being upfront with that, they saw an opportunity to make money and provide what they thought may be applicable, which was not relevant to our need. I was then offered contacts which were still not relevant to the requested industry (which I have the email documentation to prove). They offered to send contacts for Food Manufacturers, and Petroleum Companies. Neither of these are Class A CDL Drivers. I requested tractor trailer drivers, ie people who drive trucks- not businesses, not food manufacturers, not petroleum companies. Neither of those replacements can drive a tractor trailer, so they would not be a replacement or applicable to what we originally asked for.

The Client never mentioned anything related to getting personal information of any of the customers in the entire email conversation. It was after acquiring the list the client came back asking for personal phone numbers. The list is accurate as per the information shared by the client. If Client had mentioned even once that she wanted personal details, we would have informed her immediately if it was possible. Kindly refer to the email thread attached. However, we are still willing to share the equivalent value of contacts to the client.

(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
Please see the email exchange below which clearly states what I asked for, and that they would be able to provide the information as requested which they did not do. They provided the numbers to business which a driver worked at- as well as address of a business the driver works at. NOT a Drivers phone number, NOT a Drivers home address etc. As previously stated this company does not understand what my organization does- nor what driver recruitment involves to be able to provide a sufficient replacement. We would like a refund of the monies which were spent because DataCaptive is unable to provide the proper Consumer-NOT BUSINESS information we have requested.

As a healthcare marketer, I was struggling hard to connect with my audiences. Got recommended to DataCaptive by a colleague. The healthcare email list that I received from them is not only authentic but also verified. And my most prominent shade of relief came when my emails were not showing in the spam list of the receivers. My collaboration was seen through by Jason Kent. He made my journey more comfortable. It was a pleasure to work with DataCaptive. I look forward to further collaborations.

Company agreed to provide list of contacts relevant to my industry, that I could use to do marketing. List provided by them was completely irrelevant.
The company contacted us for selling contact details of advertising and printing industry in Poland. After few email exchanges we clarified we are looking for a niche within this industry that are Screen Printers, Fabric Printers, Gift houses, Advertising agencies. They provided us with sample list which we rejected as they were not relevant to us, there after they provided us a good sample list, based on which we decided to buy list for Poland, Germany, France, and Netherlands from them.

They were supposed to provide us 4218 contacts for ***.

*** - XXXXX, .

They confirmed on 19th November that they have received the payment.

We were promised that after payment is credited to them they would share data with us in 3-5 Business days.
We received data from them on 23rd November.

I replied to them on 24th November that there were only 3723 Unique contacts approximately 500 less that invoiced.

They promised to get the same sorted and send us an updated list.

In the meanwhile I went through the list that they shared with me and there were contacts of Random companies of totally different industry, I sent them an email on 27th November with my concerns and they said they will fix the same as well.

This kept on happening that they shared a new list, which according to me was 90% identical to the first list they sent.

On 15th December I requested them to issue me a refund since less than 1% of the contacts that they shared with me could be used by me.

They informed me that the matter was escalated and will be refunded to you. I even received an email on 18th January that you should have refund in your account by end of January.

On 26th February *** further escalated the matter to Grievance Team.

From that day Grievance Team contacted me asking to give them one more opportunity to give me the right data that I required and they would offer me few more contacts for free and 100 USD as credit towards future orders.

Since then they have been trying to get the new data, and are ignoring my request to refund the money.

There after their company is sending me data of Microsoft Users. I asked them how is that relevant for me. I have not got any response from them for the last few days.

There is no person's name address in the Grievance mail Signature. According to me this is a scam company, who is making money of Foreign Clients.

Desired Outcome

Its been 6 months of communication with no resolution reached. I would have been happy if they would have sent me the data as it would be value to what i paid. I just want the refund of the amount i paid to them with some Interest and penalty for their actions. In case you are not able to provide me a refund then i would recommend you atleast see that the company is closed and they cannot scam any one else like me.

We have shared the correct file to the client multiple times. Client's initial criteria were: Screen Printers, Manufacturers & Distributors; after we delivered the file client mentioned that less than 15% contacts were not unique; even though we have 85% accuracy as a guaranty term, we still delivered the file again with all new contacts. The Client then kept saying that the contacts are not matching his request, we still tried to deliver more data to the client. Later he mentioned that he is not looking for Screen printers and just looking for companies who print on T-shirts and are into Digital Printing Business and Transfer Printing Business. We have delivered 5 times more than what the client actually paid for. Even though if the client still feels he is not satisfied, we are willing to refund the full credits to his account with us. We have already informed the same to the client aswell.

Customer Response • May 28, 2019

(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
If required by the company I can share all the email correspondance of my required that I had mentioned.

As they stated yes I had asked for screen Printers, which basically means printing on garments / bags etc.

The list that they have sent me 90% of the contacts are the same each time.
95% of the list is of Flexo / Roto / Digital / Paper printers all are of no use to me, I am not in this indutry and have no relationship to them.

Apart from this the rest 4% is of consulting company, companies that are selling machines, ink, insurance.

I have stated this in my email to them and they kept on sending me similar kinds of lists which are not usefull to me,.
So them writing that they have sent me 5 times is useless to me as the data is still the same.

In the last email I received a list of users of Microsoft, I dont know how would that be helpful to me.

I have asked the company to provide me refund in terms of paying the money back from December 2018.

Please ask them why did they not refund as they say they say in their response.

In case they would have made it I would not even have written to Revdex.com.

Hello,

We have requested multiple times to share new requirements and have also offered twice the amount of credits. Since we haven't received any response. We will be closing this case.

Customer Response • Feb 10, 2020

(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
We have asked you multiple times to provide us a refund in Cash, we are not interested to use your company.

We ask the business to give us the refund in Cash through Bank Transfer.

We are not interested in obtaining their services ever or in the future.

As recommended by a colleague, I opted for DataCaptive's healthcare email database. Honestly, it was amazing. The email list was updated and accurate. No spamming. I am really impressed with the guys and the amount of hard work they put in. Keep up the good work guys!

I purchased a nurses list from them , got few hard bounces but overall the experience have been good , their after sales support if excellent , they helped me to execute my first email campaign. generated few hot leads out of it.

This is a SCAM company. 41% of the contacts bounced! We were contacted by individuals who hide their name or use fake American sounding ones.

When asking for a refund as per our money back guarantee and clearly stated in the contract, and others here and other ripoff websites Data Captive is on, they decline it (saying that they changed their policies after 2018...lol) and instead try to sell their other useless services.

We will be filing a lawsuit against them.

Stay away from this fake company at all costs!

DataCaptive, a SCAM company, failed to deliver contract obligations and have ceased responding

Invoice Number ***

*** and *** did not fulfill the contract obligations. Of the 3000 contacts provided, 1274 emails bounced. Contract promised one to one replenishment of bounced contacts. Furthermore, contract stipulates that we could receive a 100% refund if we are unsatisfied with the results for any reason.

Desired Outcome

Given that they have not responded back to our email requests for contact replenishment, we are requesting a full refund of the amount specified in the contract of 1,399 immediately.

DataCaptive Response • Feb 19, 2019

Hello,

Firstly, We are very sorry for such destabilizing encounters the customer has been faced with. I have considered each and every point the customer had mentioned as a very serious note and we do certainly understand the frustration showcased on the complaint. Furthermore, we will assess your complaints to deduct measures we can adopt to prevent issues of this nature in subsequent times.

We had delivered the requested file to the consumer *** Wong on his email as promised. The consumer had problems with the product and we completed re fulfillment of order as well. The file that was delivered is the one which he asked for and should be more than just satisfactory. Moreover, we are also ready to refund twice the credits of the amount of the first order made with us. It is a humble request to the consumer, to kindly accept this as our apology or let us know what more can be improved?. We promise we would be more responsive.

We do not want to lose anyone as an unhappy customer as we greatly esteem their relationship with our company. I appreciate all the efforts and hardships *** have for this. All I can say is, please accept our sincere apologies for the difficulties we have caused. Our aspiration is to keep all our consumers as one of our most valued ones. Kindly give us an opportunity to serve them better.

(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
The signed and executed contract and email correspondence with Data Captive clearly states a Money Back guarantee if we are unsatisfied FOR ANY REASON.

Data Captive, is reneging on the legally executed contract, and continues to offer their other useless scam services in lieu of a refund.

This issue with Data Captive, a scam company, will not be resolved until the money has been refunded per the executed contract.

DataCaptive Response • Mar 19, 2019

Hello,
After conversing with ***, he agreed for a replacement and we have delivered the file on 16th of February. The client wanted a few contacts replaced again as mentioned in the email on 13th March. We have replaced as per the request. Kindly consider this and humble request to close this case, please.
Regards,
DataCaptive.

Customer Response • Mar 19, 2019

(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
Although I tried my best to work with this Scam company, Data Captive (even though they are refusing to refund us, despite it being legally written in the contract) they are still providing us with useless data over and over again.

The contacts are still bouncing at an unsatisfactory rate of (40% or more).

Datacaptive did not provide accurate or relevant leads. Many of the contacts were repetitive, and not relevant to the industry. Even a second batch was not related to our target demographic as they promised. We requested a refund within the first week which they declined.

Bottom line their product and service seemed like a scam as they didn't delivered what they promised.

Similar to the other review, they sent me a random list that had nothing to do with my target audiene. I sent out the first test and the messages were coming back, rejected at 25-30% rate.
I am trying to get my $1,200 back, but they no longer reply to my emails. I wonder why? Shame on me for not checking them out first.
