Complaint: [redacted]I am rejecting this response because: I have already sent this paperwork.I was initially told I did NOT have to have my car inspected as it had already been inspected in [redacted] by [redacted]. When I initially was faxed the title paperwork I was told to sign and return, do not run it through inspection. I did have it inspected in June in order to get my first temporary [redacted] tag and have sent that paperwork to them once I was told they needed in July 1st; apparently it is the 2nd piece of mail they have lost. I just had it inspected AGAIN (DMV policy prohibits them from giving duplicates) and sent it certified mail. I will not have my permanent tags before my 2nd temporary expires on August 1st  and cannot get another temporary [redacted] tag. I am a grad student and take classes in Pennsylvania twice a week so this is unacceptable. Regards,[redacted]
[redacted]

We have been in contact with [redacted] and have requested her to have her vehicle inspected at a [redacted] state inspection station.   We need a copy when this is completed and we can proceed with the mv process.  Please contact me directly for any additional information.

Review: January of 2014, I purchased a Honda CRV at the DCH Kay Honda Eatowntown; by October 2015, I sold the car and paid off the car loan. Received an advise from Honda Financial Corporation, last November 5, 2015, that I am entitled to [redacted], Accident, Health and or debt waiver (GAP) for unused premiums. I tried calling the dealership and someone from their finance department called back and sent me a form. However, it has been more than 2 months and no word / update from the dealership.

Ive been calling them everyday but was diverted to a voicemail that seemed to be unattended. Despite several calls, no one from dealership reverted back.Desired Settlement: Refund of the unused premiums

Response:

We originally sent cancellation paperwork which was to be filled out and returned to dealership. We never received the paperwork. We have been in touch with customer today and will redo the process and get him his cancellation money. thank you, Ray D[redacted]

Review: Dealership committed fraud. They told us our loan was approved we signed the contract and two weeks later they wanted the car back because the loan was denied. This is a breach of contract.Desired Settlement: I want other customers to be aware

Business

Response:

We had an approval on this deal from a subprime bank and we did let the customer know she was approved. However, this particular subprime bank conducts a phone interview with every customer before they fund the dealership because they want to make sure all of the information we submit is accurate. Subprime banks have a higher risk and this is a common practice. When the bank could not reach [redacted] after trying several times they notified us and we reached out to [redacted] to see why she hadn’t responded to their attempts. Due to the lapse in time after several delays of miscommunications the bank was not comfortable and declined the deal. At that time we realized that [redacted] bounced her $3500 down payment check to kay Honda so we were not willing to try and go through a different bank in order to secure financing. I can be reached directly at any time if a further discussion needs to take place. I’ve attached a copy of the bounced check. Ray D[redacted]General Mgrcell [redacted]

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me.

They said the bank tried to call but did not in fact call me. I just want other consumers to be aware of this type of situation that could happen.

Review: I purchased a car at DCH Kay Honda on February 28, 2015. DCH Kay is responsible for transferring my registration from my old car, to my new car. Now, over 2 months later, DCH Kay still hasnt transferred my registration and they just keep sending me new sets of temporary plates. About a month ago, DCH Kay informed me that in order to get a my registration, I would need to have a VIN inspection done on my car, which I did. A few weeks later, DCH Kay informed me that they lost my VIN inspection paperwork that I had overnighted to them, and they needed me to get a VIN inspection done again. They reimbursed me the $10 it cost to get a second VIN inspection.

I was assured last week that my new registration would be sent to me at the beginning of this week, however, when I called the dealership tonight, they still didn't know where my registration was or when I would get it.

My latest set of temporary plates expires this weekend and I don't feel comfortable driving a car with expired temporary plates.

I live in [redacted] and this dealership is in New Jersey and I'm not really sure what to do to get my car registered. I've been to the [redacted] DMV to see if I can do it myself, but because the dealership is out-of-state, they said the dealership needs to complete the registration, so I'm at a loss what to do now.Desired Settlement: I would like my registration completed and to be reimbursed the $500 documentation fee I paid to DCH Kay Honda to complete my registration.

Response:

I apologize for this inconvenience. We did lose the document the first time. Our mv clerk quit and a fill in has been trying to process this. We did overnight the plates yesterday and I've attached the [redacted] info. Looks like there is a a potential delay based on [redacted] I would be willing to reimburse the document fee of $379. If agreeable let me know and I will have a check in the mail Monday. Thank You, Ray?
