This is an unusual review, because I did not actually use First Rate Movers. After a long conversation with [redacted], and careful scrutiny of my needs, he felt he did not have the necessary truck size available the day of my move to do it properly. He then offered a great deal of advice on moving insurance and finding the right company, even though he wasn't going to see a penny from me. I think [redacted] acted with integrity and honesty, and if I have to move again, First Rate Movers will be the first company I call because I feel they are honest and trustworthy.
[redacted] and [redacted] did a fantastic job for our move on May 27. They were curteous and demonstrated professionalism. What we paid for our move was definitely worth it and I would recommend your company to anyone.
Fantastic experience with First Rate on a combo local/long haul move. The crew was excellent, focused and hard-working, and did an excellent job at wrapping and loading our antique furniture.
The crew & truck showed up within 10 minutes of the advised start-time, and were pretty much bang-on schedule through the whole move. I would book with First Rate any time, and would likewise recommend them to anybody looking for a mover.

Furniture was wrapped or secured appropriately and absolutely no damage was done. Movers were kind enough to ask me where items should be placed in the new home and they took the time to put items back together that were taken apart for the move. The price was very reasonable (I called over half a dozen companies) and the staff were professional and courteous. I highly recommend First Rate Movers.
