Decollage Institute Cream Reviews (%countItem)

I was dissatisfied with their skin care products and 4 months later, I'm still waiting to get a refund of $187.
This is a disreputable company as evidenced by all the negative comments people are leaving describing their customer service experience with this company.

People purchase their "free trail" products paying a small fee for shipping. Within a week, (before you even receive the products in the mail)they charge your credit card for $187.

When you call to dispute the charge, they tell you are not entitled to a refund because 14 days has passed and somehow that lets them assume that you accepted the products and expected to be charged the full price. So there is no free trail.

I am a senior citizen living on Social Security and I believe this company purposely misleads customers so they don't have to refund a customer's money.

People expect an ethical company to honor it's guarantee of product satisfaction. Their customer service people are polite but they obviously have a scripted response prepared for everything you ask.

When I asked to speak to a supervisor, I received the exact same responses from this person who was unwilling to provide me with any other course of action.

They don't have a company address listed on their website so I suppose most people just give up,

I am willing to provide whatever information is needed to protest this company's practices of negative advertizing.

Desired Outcome

I expect to receive a full refund for the supposedly "free trail" products that I was charged $187 for.

We have sent a full refund to Mrs.. We apologize for the delay.

I am fortunate in never before having run into as crooked a company as DeCollage Skin Care. Like all the other reviewers I thought I was ordering a free sample They get you hooked by emplasizing "free" until you give them your name and address. Then the surprise $5.89 S&H appears which requires your credit card number. Once they get your CC number they start charging your card $186 every month. I agree with the other reviewers that the fine print was never shown to me. And by the way, my wife doesn't like their products.

They charged my card $96.41 without my permission.
I explained to them that my card was stolen and it had to be someone that knew my email and phone number and I did not order any products from them but they charged my card $96.41 leaving me overdrawn and my bank charged me $34.They agreed to sent me $25 out of the $96.41 so now I'm out of $71.41+$34.=$105.41 (GERRR)I tried to get the phone number for the company that makes the products but there are no numbers for them. WOW! What can be done to contact the makers of Decollage Skincare products? And get my money back? I mean they didn't even send the $25. yet and it's been 39 day's already. PLEASE HELP ME and also let other people know this is a scam!

Desired Outcome

I would like a refund and to stop these people from doing this to anyone else. Stop them from selling any products. There scammers!!!!!!!!!

We have sent the agreed upon refund to Mrs.. We apologize for the delay.

(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
I haven't received the 25 dollars as of yet. They owe me $96.41 but is only sending me $25.00 they say it's not there fault my credit card was stolen and used to order something I didn't order or received. Please don't fall for this scam they're a 3rd party co. selling a lot of different products and do not send refunds like they say if you don't want the product of if your card was stolen and used to order anything from them.

Like other consumers who have filed complaints, was offered free trial of their skin cream as long as I paid shipping but then CC was charged $89.65.
I was offered a free trial of their skin care cream as long as I just paid for shipping. They must have somewhere in very fine print that I had to contact them witPlease look at the other complaints for this company. They are all similar to my complaint. This is a scam in this company must be shut down.hin a certain period of time or my credit card will be charged. I did not see this small print like many other consumers who have filed complaints Against this business. This is a scam and my credit card was charged $89.65. I am unemployed and cannot forward this charge on my credit card. I want this charge removed from my credit card immediately. Please look at the numerous other complaints and you will see that this is an ongoing trend and that this company needs to be shut down and sanctioned. I want my credit card refunded immediately!!!

Desired Outcome

I want my credit card refunded for the $89.65 immediately!

We are sorry for the confusion with Mrs.. We state the terms of our 14 day trial period in direct language. We include this text for the customer, so they can read what they are committing to when they agree to purchase. We apologize if this was misunderstood.

To make our communications clear we send order confirmation emails, as well as shipping confirmations. Our staff works hard to assist customers with any needs they have be it new products, reshipment for undelivered products, cancellations, etc. Unfortunately the customer has initiated a chargeback through their bank / credit card. A chargeback is an agreement between a customer and their bank, placing our company in a third party role. Once that dispute is initiated, our ability to directly issue a refund to the customer no longer exists. We do apologize for this inconvenience.

Ordered a sample from the start that was supposed to be just a free sample(paid for shipping) & NEVER clicked for anything else! DID NOT GET SAMPLE!
In Dec. 2017 I sent for a free sample paying just for shipping. There were no other subscriptions or anything on that original page. After a month went by I assumed I got screwed because I never received my free sample. Shortly thereafter this company took $96.41 from my checking account. As I was off of work taking care of my sick elderly father I did not have a chance to catch this until a month later when they once again took another $96.41. From that day forward I made numerous phone calls, emails & attempts to get these payments refunded back & was hung up on quite a few times so I called daily for over a week & they all argued with me so I told them I would be filing a complaint with the Revdex.com & they agreed to send one $96.41 refund & I received an email as well that they were refunding one payment. I set up a block of this company on my checking account so that no more payments could be taken (this would not interfere with a refund because I checked with my bank). As of today it has been well over 30 days from that email date & still no refund. I am asking for both payments that they took to be refunded back to my account as I received NOTHING from this company & no that I have been scammed.

Desired Outcome

A complete refund of both of the $96.41 amounts they took from my checking account. I should file complaints against every customer service agent I spoke to because they were consistently rude & hanging up our phone conversations & did nothing but argue with me not even trying to resolve this issue.

Decollage Institute Cream Response • Mar 20, 2018

We do apologize Mrs. did not receive her product. We do have an affirmative delivery confirmation "Front Door/Porch Delivered December 9, 2017, 10:58 am" for that package.

Unfortunately the issue of an undelivered product was not clearly expressed during the initial phone call to our customer service staff. As undelivered product is an easy fix with reshipment, we are always happy to oblige if the issue is communicated effectively. Our staff works hard to assist customers with any needs they have be it new products, reshipment for undelivered products, cancellations, etc.

When Mrs. did call back the next week she made it clear she had not received her trial order. The customer requested a supervisor, and was offered a call back as a supervisor was temporarily unavailable. The customer service staff was not able to reach a satisfactory resolution with the customer after numerous tries.

We have reached out to Mrs. to resolve this issue directly.

Customer Response • Mar 27, 2018

(The consumer indicated he/she ACCEPTED the response from the business.)
Even tho they are incorrect about not understanding our "numerous" phone calls including the ones where they hung up on me directly, this issue is resolved as I have received both payments that they took back to my account. Thank you Revdex.com for all of your help in this matter. I truly appreciate it as a hard working citizen. Again many thanks! Sincerely

I signed up for samples and started to receive and get billed from product I had no interest in receiving. My Mastercard was charged on 1/21 $89.65 and $96.41 for items I was shipped and wanted to return for a full refund. On 2/16/18 at 11:55am I called and spoke to Wendy who agreed that I could ship back the face cream for a full refund. I have attached the RMA and tracking #. I have yet to get a refund. I was told to keep the eye cream and I would be refunded $50. I have yet to see a refund.

I recently received my Jan/Feb Mastercard statement and not only are the refunds no showing, but I have been charged the same amounts AND NEVER WAS SHIPPED ANYTHING.

Wendy assured me that my account was cancelled and I have the emails to prove it...see attachments.

I called again today and gave the gentleman that answered my name, address, email and phone number so that he could find my records. I then gave him the tracking number for the return. He put me on hold three times and on the third time disconnected me. He has my phone number but has not called me back.

I am accepting conditionally until I see my next credit cart statement and see firsthand that they are no longer charging me for product I am not receiving.

I ordered a free trial of the levage skin cream - was billed $89 for this cream - it should have been free? The ad said all I had to pay was shipping
I was billed $89.00 on 12-29-2017 for a free trial of their Levage cream. This was to be a free trial that I only had to pay the shipping. I want a refund for the $89 I paid for the free trial. This company is doing false advertising.

Desired Outcome

I would like a refund for the 12-29-2017 billing of the Levage cream, I had paid the shipping and this was to be a free trial.

This customer order two products from Decollage. She received a full refund by our customer service staff for the product she sent back. For the product Mrs. opted to keep, she did not receive a refund.

We are sorry for the confusion with the customer. We state the terms of our 14 day trial period in direct language. We include this text for the customer, so they can read what they are committing to when they agree to purchase. We apologize if this was misunderstood.

I ordered this product from DECOLLAGE Institute and it has not even been 14 days since I received it and yet there is a bill on my credit card for $96.41 I tried to contact them through their web site and they do not have a telephone number or any place to contact them to let them know not to send me any more of their products.

I was supposed to get a free trial of their product. Instead I was charged nearly $200 from my checking account and they continue to send more products and taking that out of my account without authorization. I have tried to contact them to stop sending product and to refund without results. What do I do now other than get my attorney involved? I am must sick! I would give it no stars if I was able to select that! HELP!

My Mother, ***, ordered decollage skin care. She cancelled the order in December.
We returned next shipment, returned to sender. Decollage only wanted to give us $40.00
of the $200.00 charged. They said if we called Revdex.com, we would not receive any money.
They said the amount charged would not be great. I think $200.00 is a large amount not
to be told about. My Mother died last month and I am following up on this for her.
Sincerely

Dear Mrs.,

We have refunded the full product cost $192.82 (2 x $96.41) to the purchasing card.

We apologize for any mix-up that took place leading up to this complaint. We are most sorry our company's error is something you've had to deal with at this difficult time in your family's life.

This company should be closed down. What a scam. I searched and thought I was being so careful when I placed my order. I never saw any information stating they were going to charge me 97 something after a very short time. I didnt even have time to see if I liked the product to order it again. Called and was told it was clearly stated that I would be charged after like 14 days. How could I have missed all this? I was looking so hard!! I will never fall for this scam again.

This is definately a total scam. So far we have been charged nearly $400 for a skin care product that my husband bought me for Xmas. Don't do it!!!

Bought as a trial. Read through everything and did not know it was a subscription. Did not know until I contacted my credit card company.
This was bought as a trial for 4.95 but was charged 5.87. Then on 2.1.2018 was charged 86.95 and then four days later 96.41. I read everything closely and did not see where it was signing me up for a subscription. The product does not work, they have several numbers that go with the charges. When calling I was told it was on the web site. But I paid for a trial not a subscription. No remedy to the charges - did not offer to refund.

Desired Outcome

I want my money back. By the time the product came in a brown paper wrapped, poorly packed package. It doesn't work and now I am out 180.00 dollars.

I ordered samples of products from Decollage. I understood that I would be billed for shipping. I never received samples, but Did get full size ones.
The purchases were shown on my Chase Amazon account as follows:
12/11 $4.95 to Replenish your Skin Health 844-342-7972

12/11 $5.87 to LLCLotus Eye Serum 844-3232472

12/28 $96.41 to Replenish your Skin Health 8443427972

12/29 $89.65 toLLCLotusEye Serum 8443232472

I have received two boxes of full-sized products with no enclosed papers indicating that I had to contact the company to cancel membership. As a matter of fact, it was not until I received the second box and received my credit statement that I realized what was happening. There was no printed material in either of the boxes. I have notified my credit card company and they are going to appeal the charges. I also called the company with phone numbers from the credit card company.
The representative was very rude and impatient with a strong accent that made it hard for me to understand her. I believe that the company has purposely made the transaction complicated to confuse the consumer. Any help you can give would be appreciated.

Desired Outcome

I would like a refund.

Customer Response • Feb 20, 2018

(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
I was given no information about handling the trial period. I ordered initially a sample which I never received. I then received a regular sized order and there was no information in that order about the details of the agreement
I went to Amazon to see if their price was comparable to Decollage's price. In addition to being approximately half of Decollage' s price, I noticed a review which was almost identical to my complaint. De collage should be reprimanded for their poor business practices.

I got charged a total of $196.88 when I was told it would be a charge of $4.95 and 5.87. Inaccurate advertising/poor customer service
I purchased 2 products from a Facebook ad for a "free trail". I was told I just needed to pay shipping and handling. No where on the website or in any of my confirmation emails did it state if I did not contact within 16 days I would be charged the full amount of the trial product.
I noticed the charge of 89.65 on 2/1 and 96.41 on 1/31. When I contacted the company I spoke to 2 very rude customer service employees who were no help at all. They stated I should have seen this information on the website. When I got off the phone I checked the website. I still do not see where this information is stated. I am on a limited income and would never have purchased this product being so expensive. All I asked was for a refund amount of the 89.65 and the 96.41 which they later charged me. They could not provide this resolution. They reimbursed me 100.00 total. So in the end I still had to pay 96.88 for this product when I was under the assumption I would be paying a total of 10.82.
I am in health care and if I treated anyone I spoke with the way I was I would not have a job.

Desired Outcome

I would like a refund of 86.06. I am fine with paying the shipping and handling fees which I was well aware of when I purchased the product.

Mrs. has received a refund of $86.06.

I have had the same experience: product for free shipping with no info about "subscription". Received two charges within two days of $96.41 and $89.65. Do not order. What a hassle.

I ordered a trial version of some face cream online. It was to cost 5.99 or close to that amount. I received a phone call which I can prove in my call log from this company asking me about the shipment. I told him I received it but would not like to continue to order it. The company sent me 2 shipments more and charged my card without my authorization on Dec 15 for 89.65 then AGAIN 3 DAYS LATER (') on Dec 15 for 96.41 I received the shipments and never used them I will be sending them back and I told them that, I also asked them to refund my money and to stop using my card. First call to them I reached the same young man who called me initially to check to see if I received the cream. He hung up on me immediately The same one I told not to send anymore also. Second and third call to them. The young lady Kera said she could not refund the money did not have a supervisor present and hung up on me Fourth call to them I spoke to Lexi who said Supervisor is getting back to me in 30 minutes. I have contacted my bank representative who is currently contacting their contact for BNS LTD VISA branch to report the credit card fraud as well. I dont believe they have a license and I have also been trying to determine an address on reverse look up for all numbers listed to this business.

Desired Outcome

Refund Refund my money in entirety and never use my credit card again. I plan to cancel the card asap I need them to refund to my card first. But have already contacted the bank to make sure they don't use it again.

Decollage Institute Cream Response • Feb 08, 2018

Mrs. will be receiving a full refund. We have reached out to her via email to complete this process.

I sign for ONE delivery of shipping only. Never for monthly. Sent them a certified letter to P) Box 33705-0509. Returned to me by P.O. because
addressee had moved & left no forwarding address. This company is a sham company. I even refused one shipment & had it returned to them. I was still charged for it. Charges started in September. 19171st. item $89.65, 2nd item, $96.41 continued thru December, 2018
Payment method: *** #XXXX XXXX XXXX

Desired Outcome

If possible, I would like for my money be credited back to my MasterCard. And to see that this company stops these type of scams/charges to other people

We have refunded the customer and ask that she keep the product compliments of Decollage, free of charge for her trouble.

Customer Response • Feb 04, 2018

(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
I will accept their response IF/WHEN THEY HAVE REFUNDED THE CHARGES TO MY MASTER CARD. To date, it has not. The last shipment from Decollage was refused and returned to the company. I have the copies of it.

Basically a scam operation; relies on small or non-existent conditions to charge hundreds for "free" samples. Rude agents with poor english.
Placed 2 "free sample" orders in December for $4.95 and $5.47. These were applied to Visa and paid. Product is useless, so I made no attempt to purchase more. Next Visa statement arrived today with 2 new charges of $96.41 and $89.65. Called twice and got females with very poor English skills. Refused to give me anyone else to speak with. Unable to talk about anything but their mysterious 14 day return policy. I don't believe this "policy" was on the order site we used. Started researching this bunch on the web and it is pretty obvious they are making their money of of the mysterious return policy. If I am unable to stop this billing, maybe they will use funds for ESL classes.

Desired Outcome

Cancel the 2 above Visa charges that I consider fraud.

Decollage Institute Cream Response • Feb 02, 2018

Decollage has never done business with any person named ***. We did find a *** in our database. Based on the home addresses, one given in this Revdex.com complaint by ***, the other given at time of purchase by *** we assume her order is the order being referenced in the complaint. Moving forward we will answer this complaint based on the assumption Mr. statements are in reference to that purchase.

Customer Response • Feb 02, 2018

(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
They know fully well that their "free" trial is misleading. Structured so that purchaser believes they are receiving a free sample; not a trial which starts the day of shipping rather than receipt. Stating that they can no longer issue a refund due to the credit card chargeback is a cop out. *** would be happy to drop the chargeback if they were informed that credit had been issued. One only has to wander around the web to see many comments & complaints regarding this operation. I believe they know exactly what they are doing. More money being made by forcing people to buy initial "free" sample than by any other facet of their business. If this serves to save 1 person from being taken, it is worth my typing time.

I ordered a free trial from this company. I never got it. They charged my account $96.41. When I contacted they threatened to take more from my accoun
I signed up for their free trial a couple weeks ago and before I did I searched for terms and conditions and didn't find any. I couldn't contact them because their contact, disclaimer, and "about" links don't work at the website so I waited figuring I probably had just lost $5. Last night my account was charged $96.41. I got the phone number from the bank charge and contacted them first thing this morning. They offered to give me 50% of my money back and told me if I didn't accept the resolution they would compound the charges at my bank and continue to take money, I told them I would put a stop payment on them and they said I couldn't do that so I needed to take their offer and they wouldn't make it again and if I don't take their offer now they will continue to charge my account. I will be speaking to someone about filing criminal charges and would like a copy of the recording of my call for that purpose.

Desired Outcome

I would like them to refund my money and never ever touch my account again. I would also like the recording of the phone call where I was threatened that they would take more money if I didn't agree to their resolution of a 50% refund. I will be speaking with my attorney *** Attorney at law, Washington about their business practices and threats.

We are sorry for the miscommunication with Mrs.. Her package was delivered according to the USPS tracking number, confirmed with notation "Delivered, In/At Mailbox ". We do apologize if something happened to the product after delivery.

We are glad the customer was able to reach out. We make an effort to include our contact information in many forms of interactions with our customers. We send automated order confirmation and shipping confirmation emails, as well as have live staff that handles incoming email communications. We include our phone number through multiple avenues, one prominent placing being included with the credit card descriptor, which we are not required to include, but do so as a retail best practice. Our staff works hard to assist customers with any needs they have be it new products, reshipment for undelivered products, cancellations, etc.
We are sorry for the confusion with the order. We state the terms of our 14 day trial period in direct language. We include this text for the customer, so they can read what they are committing to when they agree to purchase. We apologize if this was misunderstood.

We also apologize if there was confusion about the offer of a partial refund from our customer service staff. When this is suggested, it typically is done in conjunction with allowing a customer to keep all the product they have received, complimented with a significantly discounted price.

All previous misunderstandings aside, the most confusing element of this complaint is that Mrs. received a cancellation and full refund of $96.41 while on the line with our customer service agent; this happened on 01/29 @ 11:19am EST which she can confirm on her credit card statement.

We do apologize for the way in which Mrs. was handled as a customer call. If she felt she was mistreated, that is all that matters from a customer service standpoint. We are taking the matter into review.
