Decollage Institute Cream Reviews (%countItem)

Total Scam! Do not buy this product's low price trial. I carefully read the order page before submitting my information and upon receipt of the product I carefully read the shipping receipt. Nowhere did it state that this was a subscription product. Fortunately, my bank (Chase) flagged the attempt to withdraw $ 87.00 (or so) from my account and immediately called and emailed me with a fraud alert. I called the company and spoke to Kaley who asked if I had read the terms and conditions. I informaed her that this was cleverly hidden under Customer Suppot. (I found this later after reading the Revdex.com reviews). She agreed to "cancel my subcsription" immediately. I received an email witin 5 minutes reitirating the cancellation. I will keep this as proof.
If you have fallen for this deceptive scam, make sure that you tell them to remove your credit card number and information from their system.
If this business could be rated under a 1-10 score, I would give them a negative 10 !
Thanks to the Revdex.com for keeping up with these scams.

I was fraudulently scammed like everyone else from this company. Says free trial, just pay shipping. The fine print was hidden somewhere.
Deceptive Business Practices related to Free Trial.

Free Trial offered by Decollage for $4.95 with no mention of ongoing monthly payments of $89.65 for one cream and free trial of another for another $5 with no mention of ongoing payments $96.41.
I did not know about, acknowledge or agree to the ongoing payments in any way, shape or form. It may have been available on their internet site, but a lot of things are available on the internet and no one can be expected to click on and digest the information from every link in existence. Acceptance to future charges needs to come at the point of sale clearly marked as such, this was not and I did not accept.

I was billed the agreed upon Free Trial shipping amount on 10/24 - $10.82. That is not in dispute.

On 12/14/17 I was charged unknowingly $89.65 and $96.41 with no written, email or verbal communication. No invoice or receipt was issued. These charges were from companies not named anything similar to Decollage Institute but apparently stem from the so-called Free Trial, which turned out to be a fraudulent.

Desired Outcome

I am seeking a full refund from this company.

Decollage Institute Cream Response • Jan 11, 2018

We have refunded Mrs. in full.

We are sorry for the confusion with the customer. We state the terms of our 14 day trial period in direct language. We include this text for the customer, so they can read what they are committing to when they agree to purchase. We apologize if this was misunderstood.

We have refunded the customer and ask that she keep the product compliments of Decollage, free of charge for her trouble.

Free trial for products did not clearly mention that you are being charged when products are received and did not say on the email confirmation sent
Free trial for products did not mention anywhere that you will be charged for said products after 15 days. The email sent to you also did not mention this. You only find out about the charge after you see it on your credit card statement. When you call to dispute the business refuses to credit your account and will not allow you to return their product for a refund.

Desired Outcome

Full refund of money charged

We have refunded Mrs. in full.

We are sorry for the confusion with the customer. We state the terms of our 14 day trial period in direct language. We include this text for the customer, so they can read what they are committing to when they agree to purchase. We apologize if this was misunderstood.

We also apologize if there was confusion about sending the product back. There is a standard procedure for refunds and returns, which seems to have been miscommunicated and we do apologize for that.

We have refunded the customer and ask that she keep the product compliments of Decollage, free of charge for her trouble.

I ordered the facial creams from an advertisement off of Facebook. I thoroughly read everything on-line and nowhere did it say that I would be charged an additional $89.65 after the trial period or that I would be automatically enrolled to receive it monthly. I wasn't aware of it until I saw the charge on my charge card and then I checked their terms and policies on-line. I called and cancelled the monthly enrollment but they would not refund the additional $89.65. I have sent them an email in addition to calling them. If I still don't get refunded I will try calling again and speaking to their supervisor to try to get the refund as I see in other reviews that someone was successful getting refunded that way. DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY!!! Product is definitely not worth it!!!

I ordered a "free, pay only the shipping" face cream from DeCollage Institute and boy did I get scammed. It was an auto shipment deal BUT nowhere did they tell you this on their webpage. I looked high and low and thought it was safe to try and found out I was very wrong. Next thing I know I am being charged $186.06 on my credit card. There was nothing in the paperwork that said I had to cancel within 14 days and I sure didn't know I had signed up for auto shipments. When I called them they said it was in their "terms" section. Yep, after much searching there was in such small print and very light gray color a spot to click on "terms". What a sham.

This company uses deceptive advertising offers trial products and ends up charging you full price before you even have time to use the product.
On December 7th I ordered 2 trial samples of this companies face serum and firming creme. I was to be charged $4.95 for one and $5.87 for the other. I was charged those amounts intially I received the merchandise on Dec 12. On December 28 I called customer service because on Dec. 26th I was charged full price one item was $96.41 and the other $89.65 I called to dispute the charges and told them I did not even have time to use the product. They told me I had 10 days from the day I ORDERED the product to cancel my order or I would be charged. I loudly complained and they agreed to refund me $50 each or $100 total not the full price of the product. I believe this is deceptive advertising with conditions in fine print or disguised so that no one reads THIS IS A SCAM!!

Desired Outcome

Although I received a partial refund. I did not have enough time to evaluate the product and I want a FULL REFUND of the charges which would be an additional $86.05 I believe the company is a scam

Decollage Institute Cream Response • Jan 04, 2018

We have refunded the customer the full amount of purchase.

We are sorry for the confusion with Mrs.. We state the terms of our 14 day trial period in direct language. We include this text for the customer, so they can read what they are committing to when they agree to purchase. We apologize if this was misunderstood. The customer service agent misspoke if they stated "10 days from the day she ordered the product to cancel her order or she would be charged". By the customer's own statement. They were indeed given 14 days to try the product, Dec. 12th - Dec. 26th , which is what we state in our literature, 14 days. We are sorry for the misunderstanding.

We also apologize if there was confusion about the partial refund. This is typically done in conjunction with allowing a customer to keep all the product they have received, complimented with a significantly discounted price. Our staff works hard to assist customers with any needs they have be it new products, reshipment for undelivered products, cancellations, etc. We do regret we were not able to come to a beneficial resolution with the customer earlier, by possibly extending her trial, or be it by fulfilling some other request.

Although we apologize for the miscommunication that seemed to take place, we are glad Mrs. was able to get in touch with us. Our live agents are available 24/7, and we always try to help.

Was charged for what should have been free
Ad said send for free sample of cream only pay $4.95 shipping, handling. Then I was contacted by my bank about a bogus charge for $96.41 I did not recognize the name of the company which was Lotus Commodities so I told the bank to look into it. It turned out to be Decollage so I called them and was basically told too bad the Ad said if you didn't call in 14 days you would pay this amount. Nowhere in the Ad did I see this. This is so bogus the company is a SCAM.
The man I spoke with was rude and quite nasty he finally said he could refund me 40% I said NO and he made me hol on then came back and said OK 50% but6 I had to 3 way call with my bank. I called again and got Johanna on he phone and she offered me 79% return same conditions.By the waY THIS WAS AT 16 DAYS AFTER ORDERING. And the cream doesn't even work. I would like al my money back Thank You.

Desired Outcome

To get back my $96.41

We are sorry for the confusion with the customer. We state the terms of our 14 day trial period in direct language. We include this text for the customer, so they can read what they are committing to when they agree to purchase. We apologize if this was misunderstood.

We also apologize about the confusion surrounding the offer of a partial refund. This typically is done in conjunction with allowing a customer to keep all the product they have received, complimented with a significantly discounted price.

We try hard to state our terms and conditions up front, to make our communications clear by sending order confirmation emails, as well as shipping confirmations. Our staff works hard to assist customers with any needs they have be it new products, reshipment for undelivered products, cancellations, etc. Unfortunately the customer has initiated a chargeback through their bank / credit card. A chargeback is an agreement between a customer and their bank, placing our company in a third party role. Once that dispute is initiated, our ability to directly issue a refund to the customer no longer exists. We do apologize for this inconvenience.

We are reviewing the agent interactions referenced in Mrs. complaint as well. Thank you

Customer Response • Jan 12, 2018

(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
When I initiated the chargeback with the bank it was because the charge on my account was for a company called Lotus something or other and I did not know who that was.

Disreputable business practices (basically a scam orginization), I was charged a monthly fee of
$ 97.64 after I ordered a trial size to see if I liked it, if I liked it I was going to order more but was automaticaaly put on a monthly reorder without my consent. If it was such a great product they wouldn't have to scam you , also there is no ingredient information on the product ( which should flag the FDA but it hasn't ..hmmm)

Do not get involved with this "Free Trial" bull. My card was charged $89.65 and I never noticed it. Then a month later, I was charged $96.41. I didn't recall ordering from these companies. Each delivery came from a different company so couldn't connect with the free trial going back months ago. It took 3 months for this junk to arrive and in a week they sent me another shipment. I found a phone number on the label of the jar and called it to cancel any future deliveries. I shall try to have my credit card company dispute the charge. STAY AWAY FROM THIS OFFER

Deceptive Business Practices related to Free Trial.
(Note: Same claim filed with LS Skin Care which billed the credit card. This claim with the original Free Trial company.)
Free Trial offered by Decollage for $4.95 with no mention of ongoing monthly payments of $89.65 for one cream and free trial of another for another $5 with no mention of ongoing payments $96.41.

I was billed the agreed upon Free Trial shipping amount on 10/24 - $10.82. That is not in dispute.

On 11/10 and 11/11 I was charged unknowingly $89.65 and $96.41 with no written, email or verbal communication. No invoice or receipt was issued. No goods have even been sent as far as I can tell, it's now 12/11. These charges were from companies not named anything similar to Decollage Institute but apparently stem from the so-called Free Trial, which turned out to be a misnomer.

Another set of charges is coming through on 12/11. The free trial cream I received had no phone number to call on the packing slip, and there was no mention of ongoing payments or a subscription type arrangement, or expectation of additional creams being sent. This is a total surprise to me.

Chase Cards issued a fraud alert to me today and I declined the charges, and filed a dispute for the previous charges.

Desired Outcome

Stop monthly billing. Refund previous charges with exception of original $10 trial offer. Clearly state at the point of sale to future customers exactly what and when they will be billed monthly going forward and how to cancel, not in a link available "on the internet".

Decollage Institute Cream Response

We have canceled Mrs. account and refunded her in full.

We are sorry for the confusion with the customer. We state the terms of our 14 day trial period in direct language. We include this text for the customer, so they can read what they are committing to when they agree to purchase. We apologize if this was checked and missed or misunderstood.

We make an effort to include our contact information in many forms of interaction with our customers. We send automated order confirmation and shipping confirmation emails, as well as have live staff that handles incoming email communications. We include our phone number through multiple avenues, one prominent placing being included with the credit card descriptor, which we are not required to include, but do so as a retail best practice. Our live agents are available 24/7 with hold times targeted at under 2min.

Please accept our apologies. All refunds have been initiated as of 12/13/17 and should be fully credited back in 1-3days. Please contact us through phone or email if anything additional is needed.

Customer Response

(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
The refund is appreciated. However, stating the terms in a place I never accessed or saw and not directed on the point of sale page are not the same thing.
They mention shipping and confirmation emails, neither of which I received for the November charges. There was no communication or product sent in conjunction with the November charges and it's been 1 month.

I thought I was ordering a skin cream and facial serum on time and received a second order and was auto billed.
I purchased online decollage firming cream and facial serum maybe 1month ago. This past Saturday, Nov 18th I received a second shipment. I called Decollage to say I received a second shipment by accident from them and that I already received my order. At this point I was informed I was auto enrolled into continuing to receive their product. I spoke with Eric who said I was cancelled from the auto enrolled and needed to mail the products back on my own to PO Box XXXXX *** XXXXX. Then I was to call back with the tracking order. I was refused to speak to a manager and no explanation could be given as to how I was auto enrolled. Then I was hung up on. Monday, November 20th I mailed the package and called with my tracking number as directed. I spoke with JoAnna who had to ask for the number 4 different times. I was told to call back Friday in order to get my refund. I discovered through multiple questions that I would not be refunded unless I called them back. Friday is the day after Thanksgiving, so I am skeptical they will even be open. I also asked JoAnna if she could send me the contract I supposedly enrolled in. She told me to go online to find it. Of course, I could not find this information. This whole process seems very unethical. To be auto enrolled, charged $96.41 for the cream & $89.65 for the serum and then have to pay for the return and have to continually follow up to be refunded is not right. I appreciate any help exposing this business and getting my refund. Thank you.

Desired Outcome

$189.86 is the refund including shipping. I am asking for at least that back. I truly do want anyone else to have to go through this.

Decollage Institute Cream Response

Mrs.,

Thank you for following up with our customer service center on your return tracking number. That does help us expedite the refund process. We can verify that you did receive a refund for those products. Thank you for calling the day after Thanksgiving. We appreciate you following up to help us issue your return as quickly as possible. We do not require a tracking number for refund, however that allows us to immediately issue your repayment. Without a tracking number the item(s) must arrive at our mail center and be checked-in for processing, which creates a longer timeline. We do apologize if this accelerated process was not acceptable for you.

We also apologize if you felt you were prevented from speaking to a manager. It is our policy to assign a manager to a phone call if asked. It is possible that if a manager was not available at that exact moment a call-back option was requested by our customer service personnel. We do apologize if this option was not properly presented or explained to you.

You will be receiving a refund of $186.06 for the other product charges. Please allow up to 30 days for processing and shipping for your check to arrive in the mail.

I also wish I would have read the Revdex.com reviews regarding Decollage Institute Cream before purchasing the free trial. I was charged $186 for the products because I didn't cancel within 14 days. I had no idea that I was supposed to do this as the "terms" were listed under "Online Support". I called when I saw the charges and then found out about the 14 day trial. I told the person on the phone I was going to dispute the charges at which time she became very huffy. I called back today to let them know I was going to be filing a complaint with Revdex.com and FTC if I didn't receive a refund. I spoke with TY and he did get supervisor approval to have the charges reversed. I did try the product but was not happy with it and was floored to see how much they charged me for it. Possibly the reviews and complaints are working with this company.

I ordered face cream sample for $4.99, and I received a bill for $96.41
On Sept. 16th, I ordered a sample face cream for $4.99 plus tax. I paid this ant, I put it on my credit card and on my Oct bill I was charged $96.44. Transaction #***
I did not order this.

Desired Outcome

I want this company to credit my credit card for $96.41.

Customer Response

(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
When I was charged this additional charge of $96.40 on my credit card, I did dispute the charge
They never said they would refund any money tome, I want them to credit my credit card. How am I suppose to know that a refund could not be done,
If I dispute the charge, there are no telephone numbers or address to contact them.

Warning - don't believe them. I assumed Joanna G. was starting her own new skin care company! But, I too was duped for the free trial, pay for shipping only. I received the cream and was excited based on the video but absolutely no changes occurred. About 2 weeks after receiving it I noticed a charge of $96.41 on my cc and immediately called to cancel and request a refund. Well, I called back today after not receiving a refund and customer service rep, Eric, was definitely not customer service friendly. Refused to give me his supervisor, let alone the name of the supervisor. Told me "I didn't read the terms & conditions and I called past the 14 day trial, too bad, no refund." Terrible company. Since the charge was on my cc, I'm calling to dispute it and hopefully they will help.

Scam company charged me 10.00 and 89.65 for a "Free Trial". Scammers

Fake products. False claims of being invented and owned by Joanna Gaines of HGTV fame. Credit card WILL be charged CRAZY amount of money, under names other than "Decollage" by processors in New Jersey. Disgusted to say the least.

False advertising. Ordered a trial sample, got charged for products without being informed about the charge and subscription.
Ordered a trial sample of 2 skin products and was charged 2.95 and 5.87 for S/H of these products on 09/12/17. Was then charged 96.41 and 89.65 on 09/29 and 30. Contacted company and was told that the second charges were due to the fact I had not cancelled the subscription within 14 days. When ordering, I read the fine print well and did not see anywhere about the 14 days or the fact that I signed up for a subscription for these products. When on the phone with a company representative, she was extremely rude and after finally cancelling the subscription, she abruptly hung up on me. I have learned I am not the only one taken in by this scam. Also turned out for me, the products caused an allergic reaction.

Desired Outcome

Would like a refund of the 96.41 and 89.65 charges made on my card on 9/29 and 9/30 respectively. I feel that there is false advertising going on and would like the company investigated for false advertising, but will settle for the refunds.

Decollage Institute Cream Response

We have refunded Mrs. for all product ordered. We are sorry for the confusion with the customer. We state the terms of our 14 day trial period in direct language. We include this text for the customer, so they can read what they are committing to when they agree to purchase. We apologize if this was misunderstood.

STAY CLEAR Scam! Advertised under one name and billed under another.
Not a free trial to pay shipping and handling and evaluate the products (which are inferior to say the least,) terms and conditions are not clear. I would say they had "poor" customer service but really there was no customer service at all! The rep I spoke to, Kady, told me with a serious attitude to "go ahead and contact the Revdex.com" we will show them the T&Cs": , that "no credit will be provided and no returns of the product would be accepted" I requested to speak with a manager and was told "there was no manager available". I sent multiple emails requesting a manger contact me to resolve the issue and provided my cell number and email and with no response. I put a lock on my credit card, I have sent all the information to my account holder and am trusting in the system that these thieves will be out of business soon. I would put negative stars if it was an option

Deceptive advertising practices. I ONLY ordered lotions @ $1 and cost of shipping $5 as advertised. Now theyr charging $89.95 and $96.41 for unwanted
Today is 10-18-17 and I had a lengthy conversation with a representative named Trey about the unwanted extra lotion products and his Merchant's deceptive advertising practices. I wanted to know where to ship these products back and he gave me a po box address. So then I asked how much the products were in price and he proceeded to tell me $89.95 for one bottle and $96.41 for the other bottle. Obviously I was upset at the higher price because, the bottles were the same size as the trial size I got for $1. I got a bit heated and demanded to talk to his manager and or supervisor. I got real upset times because he wouldn't pass the phone over to his supervisor named Nikki after about 20 minutes into our talk . He told me that she was waving to him to get off the phone. I told him that I would wait on the line to talk to her personally. After a few minutes Trey told me that Nikki was still unavailable to talk to me at this time but that she would call me back shortly. I told him not to hang up on me because I know that we were being recorded and I'm still not satisfied with his answers he proceeded to tell me that it was their high volume time to talk to other customers. It all started yesterday when I received yet another unwanted package of DeCollage lotions in the mail, so I called their company today to tell them to stop sending me these sample orders. He begins to explain that the trial period of 18 days had passed and since I didn't call to stop the order now I've basically signed up to receive a shipment monthly at the products regular price-which was mentioned above. I then demanded to talk to someone ihigher in rank above Trey but told me he answered all my questions and he had to go. Well, Trey hung up on me knowing that I still wanted to hang on the line to talk to someone above him in rank. I called back after a minute and got connected with another representative named Damion- I told him that his coworker named Trey just hung up on me knowing that I wanted to speak to the supervisor in charge then Damion said oh you mean Courtney? I said wow- Trey just told me his supervisor named Nikki was the one in charge there.... ok so what am I to believe- it was a bit confusing? I then asked Damion to let me talk to his supervisor and he put me on hold and came back to tell me that she was unavailable to speak but that she has all my information and that she would call me back within 20 minutes or so. I also told him that I will wait on the line. But he assured me that Courtney would call me back. Courtney never returned my phone call and I made sure I had my phone on my person in order to be ready for our conversation. My order # is XXXXXXXX, order date is October 12, 2017 and Ref # *** and Customer #170.

Desired Outcome

Stop sending me their products and stop billing me for unwanted products that were falsely advertised to be from the new beauty line of skin products of tv personality Joanna Gains wife of Chip Gains.

Decollage Institute Cream Response

We will be refunding Mrs. the $89.95 and $96.41 charges and have contacted her directly via email in order to streamline the process.

We apologize for the impasse reached via the customer service phone call. Our staff is trained to assist customers and service those customer's with options related to the resolution of any problem that may arise with our product. Once those options are exhausted however, there is no further interaction which can benefit the customer, and may be the reason the phone call had to be ended after twenty minutes. We do apologize if the customer felt she was hung up on.
