I took a tire with a slow leak into Kost Tire on Monday, October 15, They were unable to patch the tire due to the location of the leak, so I had to purchase a new tire When I picked my new tire up on Wednesday, October 17, the wheel rim had been switched with an older model *** My wheel came from my [redacted] *** The rim they mounted on the new tire had no resemblance to the one I brought in on October except that it was a [redacted] rim The employees told me there was nothing they could do, but would call the boss and get back to me I left with the old rim since my car is only equipped with a donut spare As of today, November 4, no one has contacted me Kost Tire, in that location, has been the only tire center that has serviced my car since I drove off the dealer lot

My [redacted] was serviced at the KOST tire center in Bloomsburg PAThe service work performed included removing the vehicles tires and wheels from the vehicle, dis-mounting the tires from the existing wheels, mounting the tires on new rims, balancing the tires, and re-installing the tires on the vehicle I received a call from XXXX store manager that the vehicle was complete and ready for pickup At no time did Manager discuss the fact that my vehicle had been damaged, or arrived damaged on that phone call Later in the day, I realized I was going to be later than picking up my vehicle so I called and spoke with store manager about paying via phone Manager informed me that the vehicle was ready and he was there till 1800, so no need to pay over the phone Again at no time did manager relay that any damage was done to my vehicle while in the possession of KOST, or that my vehicle arrived damaged I arrived on site to pick up my vehicle, and I was greeted by manager,

Took my [redacted] to Kost Tire in Bloomsburg to have new tires installedOriginal tires were still on car at time of serviceAfter car was done I looked at all the rims on my car, and three were damagedI went back in the store and had the asst manager Mike come and a look at the rimsHe stated that they take precautions as to not to damage the rimsHe asked if I wanted to view the tire machineI declined to do soI took photos of the rims and sent them to the Kost regional manager named Ken K [redacted] out of the Clarks Summit location via email and waited for his responseA week went by and I called Ken K [redacted] and he stated that from the pictures it seemed to be curb rash to himI stated that if that was the case the sidewalls would show that as wellOnce I stated that about the sidewalls I got no response and Kost will do nothing to pay for the repairs to the three rimsI contacted [redacted] from [redacted] for a quote to repair the damagesI sent **

We got new Michelin tires on our Dodge Durango around November with an alignment due to front passenger wearing on outside edge of tireThey said alignment was fineWe had an inspection done at a local dealership on January and passed in mid February noticed front passenger tire had almost no tread left from center of tire to the outer edge and driverside was showing wearThere was less than 10,miles on tiresWhen contacting Kost in Tunkhannock they gave an appointment in February and passenger side was way out and driverside was out a little also, they ordered new tires and said it would cost me $20-$a tire which ended up costing I believe $dollars all togetherThey should of gotten the alignment right the first timeThey called us to set up an appointment when the tires came in and we set it up for Tuesday because that was the only day that would work and when I got there they told me I was hours to early they accidentally wrote it down for Wednesday which was not what was discussed on the phoneMy wife ended up having to take the car because of my work schedule and the guy at Kost in Tunkhannock was very ignorant and told her next time to pay attention to any wear on her tires and bring it in soonerWe originally paid for a service and should not have to monitor their work they performed

I have on numerous times gone in for tire rotations and oil changes about every miles Over the past I would say year I noticed my tired were not being rotatedSo I marked them for the next one and sure enough they were not rotatedThe next time or two were fine then once again noticed it because they didnt even check the air pressure on themNow just yesterday went for another oil change/tire rotation for 1pm apptarrived min early and sat there until 1:and not one person said we are.behind or apologized for the waitNot until I got up asked for my keys then at that moment they say oh we were just going to take it inI have been a loyal customer for many years and will no longer be oneThe manager has no control apparently of what goes on hereMark and I think Jim used to be great but I assume they are gone nowWell so am I, done with cost and the lies that things are being done that aren't The lack of attention is putting people's safety at riskKost tire should be ashamed of what is going on in their stores

We bought several sets of tires from Kost Tire over the yearsNow we have a set of tires with a 80k mile warrantyThey have only 52k miles and they are down to the ware barsWe asked to have the same tires put on under the warranty With the warranty adjustment, the price would be $out the doorI asked what the price would be to buy them without the warranty and I was told $out the doorIt costs more than $to use the warranty? I called several times to the store to get some resolutionHe agreed this made no sense, but the corporation has policies he saidI called the Corporate office, but did not get a return callI guess paying for a quality tire is pointless if the warranty and the seller are both uselessNever again will I spend money or recommend Kost Tire for anything

I took my truck to Kost to get it inspectedWhile it was parked there, one of their grease monkeys backed another customers car across the parking lot and hit my truckI went down that day and got an estimate from *** *** in ***After a couple of days I called Kost back and they said they needed a SECOND estimateThey sent someone over to take my truck to another shop to get that estimateThe *** *** *** said that they would take care of everythingAfter a week, they still had not contacted meAfter several attempts I was finally able to get *** againHe passed the buck to *** *** said that he would contact the insurance companyThe next day he called me and passed the buck to *** at the insurance companyI am currently waiting to hear from themIt has been 1/weeks since they damaged my vehicle and they still have not given the shop the authorization to fix my truckAnd best of all, the high and mighty *** *** doesn't want to b

I brought my car to do a 4wheel alignmentwas told needed to grease back of car and return in weeksDid thison second trip was told apart that was on days old needed to be replacedThen brought car to a different garage to check carwas told part was fine and back was never greasedHe did not do wheel alignmentsuggested to go to a different garage not mention kost and see what they saydid thisthey had trouble with alignment said the same thing back was not greased and needed no parts.I have gone to kost for over years and now feel like a foolwhy be told you need apart that was brand newAnd why say you greased the car when you didn't I will not be doing business with again but feel other people should know to careful when told they need parts

I went in for routine oil change a tire rotation and two days later I noticed the steel belts showing on the rear tire, that I bought there in December with about miles on the tires, they are defective,they are under warranty,but I was informed that they did not have those tires anymore and was told I would have to pay for two new tires which I didWhen I bought these tires I also had and alignment done and have had them rotated regularly, I should not have to pay

On May 3, I stopped at Kost Tire on *** ***in Scranton I had very bad tire wear on my rear tires that were purchased in October with miles on the vehicle I have miles on the vehicle now Tad, the Assistant Manager came out an check the tread wear He wanted get the vehicle on the lift and check things out I called back around 1:00pm to check on the progress He said the vehicle was done He replaced and rotated the rear tires and I was in need of suspension work (outer tie rods and ball joints) I picked the vehicle up and the tire pressure sensor was also broken off which was replaced at no charge I was charged $for the tires Why replace tires when the suspension was bad on the vehicle This is the second incident I had with Kost About months or so ago the front tires were wearing very bad Darren the Manager at the time replaced them for me at cost My mechanic had to do other front end work at the time, but at least he did s

If I could give this establishment stars I wouldMy family & I have had multiple bad experiences with Kost & will never do business with them againI urge you to do the sameFirst about a year ago, we needed tires on our truck and took it to Kost (Brodheadsville) locationThey changed our tires & our truck ended up, on the highway on ramp, with a tire that fell off the truck, because they "forgot" to tighten up the lug nutsIf that would have happened on the highway, we could have been killed, or killed someone else, let alone what we had to pay for the tow truck & the damage caused by the incidentWe called them and they said there was NOTHING they could do for usTo sue would have been too much money that we didn't have, so we let it go unfortunatelyWe were told by some friends that even though the Kost in Broadheadsville is not a good location, we could trust the location in StroudsburgWe recently took our same truck for an inspection at Kost (Stroudsburg) locationThey told us we would need dollars worth of work before we could get an inspectionThey said the lower steering shaft joint was worn and rotted, inner tie rod ends bad, steering rack uncontrollably leaking fluidWe decided to take the truck for a second opinion because we just had a feeling this wasn't correctWe were rightWe got another inspection and everything was a LIEWe got the truck inspected on the spot30$ charge instead of 1250$, please save yourself lots of money and anguish, don't go to Kost, they are the worst company to deal with around
