Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint The complaint is not resolved because the house is not completeThe complaint was regarding the inability to deliver a quality product in a timely manner due to DTH's mismanagement and inattention to our projectDTH allowed our home to sit without substantial progress for monthsWe made minimal progress despite meeting with the CEO in May (months into our project) and repeatedly contacting DTH management that our house was not movingAt that point we were assigned a new project managerHe was able to get some items completed however due to the lack of support from his managers he was unable to get subcontractors to our homeIn November 2015, months from start date, we only made progress after discussing with the financing bank about the lack of progressWe again received a third manager to handle our projectAs far as covering items up, that is not what we saidWe stated negligence as in the management was unable to successfully supervise and prevent significant errors from being made within our project and then allowed the home to sit for months with no accountability for subcontractors to show up to our site.In regards to our contract, it is correct that there is no completion dateIn hindsight, we should have signed with a home builder who does have an estimated completion date in their contractAs consumers, we have learned the importance of fully reading and understanding our contract and going with the company that values their consumers time and money With that said we wish to have this complaint open until the home is completed Regards,

We are addressing the issues with the homeownerThe sheetrock repairs are done and the roof repair should be complete this week This is a correspondence sent by [redacted] From: [redacted] Date: June 18, at 12:36:PM CDT To: [redacted] Cc: [redacted] Subject: RE: Re: Sheetrock is done and looks amazingWaiting on roof on MondayThis is why we bought a Design Tech Home in the beginning we were told that you never forget your old clients Thank you Mr [redacted] and Mr [redacted]

We have reviewed the claim of the Homeowner and are evaluating his request

Only reason for the rejection is when the job is finish will I accept the response I understand the pothole in the driveway is not covered in the home warranty, but the pothole was created by DTH and their contractors while building our homeThe issue is "DOING THE RIGHT THING"It is a small job And I understand it might take a while to find another contractor to do the job since their first one is no longer in service by DTH

The complaint is not resolved because the house is not complete. The complaint was regarding the inability to deliver a quality product in a timely manner due to DTH's mismanagement and inattention to our project. DTH allowed our home to sit without substantial progress for 16 months. We made minimal progress despite meeting with the CEO in May 2015 (10 months into our project) and repeatedly contacting DTH management that our house was not moving. At that point we were assigned a new project manager. He was able to get some items completed however due to the lack of support from his managers he was unable to get subcontractors to our home. In November 2015, 16 months from start date, we only made progress after discussing with the financing bank about the lack of progress. We again received a third manager to handle our project. As far as covering items up, that is not what we said. We stated negligence as in the management was unable to successfully supervise and prevent significant errors from being made within our project and then allowed the home to sit for months with no accountability for subcontractors to show up to our site.In regards to our contract, it is correct that there is no completion date. In hindsight, we should have signed with a home builder who does have an estimated completion date in their contract. As consumers, we have learned the importance of fully reading and understanding our contract and going with the company that values their consumers time and money.  With that said we wish to have this complaint open until the home is completed.
Regards,

We have spoken to Mrs. [redacted]. The delay was due to an outside firm's plan of action submittal delay due to the holidays.
