We did not heard anything from the business but we do receive the strange phone calls
times mostly in 2-3AM in the morningRepeatably phone call at least times each timebut that is a different stroy
We did have a leak again in the house after this business repaired the roof valleyWe did hired a another contractor and completely removed the roof valley and roofThere was lot of water under the roof valleyWe took a video and pictures

I contacted Just Gutters, NYC on 1/*/15 requesting an estimate to clean my gutters. The representative gave me an appointment between 12 noon and 2 pm and stated I would receive a 15 min. advance call to let me know they were in the area.
The representative (named John) arrived at 2:35 pm with no apology or justification and no advance call. When I inquired about the lateness, he became EXTREMELY RUDE and ARROGANT and insisted that if I had something else to do - I should do so and he return another time.
In an unprofessional and abrupt tone he asked me if I wanted the work done or not. He it would cost $150 to do the gutters. I inquired as to how could give me a price without assessing the roof and gutters.
So he went up on the roof and then he gave me a written estimate with a list of items to be repaired for $605 on a yellow lined paper - NO BUSINESS CARD - NO CONTRACT, NO LETTERHEAD.
He said he would do the work on Monday 01//*/15..I called his business number ###-###-#### to let him know I would not be using his company.
On Monday morning JADE K** same man who called himself John stated that I have an outstanding bill with him for cleaning my gutters. I told him, I did not owe him anything because he DID NOT clean my gutters, he argued with me and said he would bill my property and then he abruptly hung up the phone. I have a contractor who will verify that my gutters today 01/**/15 HAVE NOT BEEN CLEANED.

Review: Diamond Construction NYC came on August [redacted] to cover a leak on our roof over the Packing Area. A few days later the leak appeared again, so we called them to fix it under the contract warranty. When they came and checked what they did they told us that the warranty will not be granted because someone else did a job on the roof that belongs to the Production Area. These two parts of our roof are separated by a wall and do not have any connection whatsoever.Desired Settlement: We strongly believe that Diamond Construction NYC had to fulfill the terms and conditions established in the contract we signed. Therefore, they should grant us the warranty for the job they did.

Review: DONT USE THIS COMPANY.... I HAD THEM COME OUT AND FIX MY GUTTER.. ONLY THEY HAVE MADE IT WORSE NOW THERE IS A HOLE IN THE GUTTER. WHEN WE HAD HEAVY RAIN IT NOW POURS ON MY PORCH ... Review: [redacted]This is a formal request for you or or someone from your firm to come back out and complete the job that was not completed, as agreed to, as a result of your "poor workmanship" or "product failure" my bedroom ceiling almost collapsed from last nights rain. I came home to find a puddle of water on my bed.Those strips are needed to prevent this from happening!The water is still coming in!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Now I have wet mattress and damaged bed spread plus wet ceiling sheet rock and insulation, paint that you will be held responsible to pay for. I read at great length the reason why you have a F rating from the Revdex.com, my case is much like the other I read about. I was taken back by what I read. I guess you should stick to cleaning gutters.Here is the difference- I am a [redacted] in NY State and will not let this go- If and when I submit my Insurance claim I am sure my carrier with pursue a subrogation claim against you and pursue legal actions to secure any funds paid to me BUT- I will give you the benefit of the doubt to make this right! If I do not hear back from you in a few days I will start the legal action against you on my own. I have affiliates in NY, NJ and Conn and will be able to find you and serve you the paperwork.This will not go away like your other complaints.Please make this right!Desired Settlement: Being that just job is not complete I would like this firm to complete the work they were suppose to do

Review: On October **,2013 I had a new roof installed by Diamond construction for 4,500. After the installation I had 3 leaks . The last leak caused damage to my kitchen. According to the company my leaks were a result of a blocked leader which they cleared twice that was why I called them in the first place. The owner told me he had video of the blockages and it was my fault for not having gutter guards installed. I called another roofer who to assess the problem. This roofer told me it was just a patch job. A very poorly done roof. The leaks had nothing to do with guards. It was just done improperly.Desired Settlement: I would like my money back . I seriously doubt that would happen . However, I would like this creep from inflicting problems on other consumers. I would like him to be fined and kicked out of NY like they did to him in NEW JERSEY.

Review: I requested this company to do a chimney sweep. I was very specific that I was only concerned with the chimney getting cleaned. I gave them my number and was told that I would receive a call 15min prior to arrival, I never received a call and was told by my tenants that they were at the house. The serviceman inspected the chimney and told me that the chimney was actually clean and didn't need cleaning. I asked him to give me a receipt stating that the chimney is clean and then a separate estimate for whatever else that needed to be repaired separate from the cleaning. Keep in mind they advertise that they give free estimate. The only reason I concerned paying him was because I needed it in writing that the chimney was in fact not dirty. He proceeded to write that the chimney did not need cleaning, but in addition adding additional work he felt I should do. I explained to him that that's not what I am asking for and if he wasn't able to give me the receipt stating that it didn't need cleaning then I wouldn't need his services. I hung up the phone, but immediately after my tenant called stating that the serviceman threatened him "I know where you live" and called him a "black [redacted] The serviceman also stated he was going to call the police because he was not paid for "the free estimate". He drove off cursing at my tenant. I called the main number listed online and the representative was just as rude, he did not even listen to what I had to say he just hung up. This is the worst experience I have encountered and customer's need to be aware.Desired Settlement: My tenant deserved an apology from this company for the racist comments that were made directly to him.

Review: I had used John at Diamond Construction in February to reline my chimney vent for my boiler. He seemed to do good work fast and so I asked him to come and line my second chimney for the fireplace. While evaluating my chimney, he told me that the roof would not make it through another winter and offered to redo it for $4000. He then suggested that we should replace the skylights and the opening access hatch to the roof. I'm in the middle of a major renovation and restoration and none of the pricing he suggested seemed unreasonable. He and his team arrived, they did the work promptly, the work with the roof seems to be ok, although it has not been tested by winter. However, the vented skylights he installed are not manufactured properly, including that they have no weeping holes drilled, the glass is not fitted correctly nor is it glazed or sealed, the aluminum runners do not cover the joints or the edge of the skylight all of which exposed my house to the elements and allows water to come straight into my house when it rains. I have already had one 24 hour period in which water streamed in, during the rain.

It has now come to my attention, that he is unlicensed with many complaints. I'm not sure I even have hie real name. He had taken down his websites, so I was unable to see the fictitious license he had posted before. On this receipt, he claimed his name was Johnny L[redacted]. He operates as Diamond Construction, [redacted]. He responds to phone numbers ###-###-####, ###-###-#### and ###-###-####. He drives a brand new Black Ford Truck with Florida plates [redacted] and [redacted] on the tailgate.

Both I and my contractor have made numerous attempts to address the issue - during which each time John will fly into a rage and he has used threatening and abusive language in both conversations and texts. After a week and a half of no cooperation we informed him, we were consulting another contractor and removing the skylights. I had the job inspected by two other contractors who said the roof looks ok, but scratched their heads when viewing the skylights - both contractors deemed the skylights unable to be secured or repaired. I am now out of pocket $1,600 to replace the skylights I already paid $1,500 for.

I'm also quite sure that after reading the complaints for this company that the 25 Year guarantee John gave me for my new roof is completely worthless. And to be honest, I do not want him near my house.Desired Settlement: I will give John the benefit of the doubt on the roof at this time, however, I would like him to reimburse me the $1,600 which I am having to spend to correct his shabby work on the skylights.

Review: I HAD A NEW FLAT ROOF INSTALLED AND 6 MONTHS LATER I HAD A LEAK IN BATHROOM CEILING. CONTRACTOR AGREED SEVERAL TIMES THAT HE WOULD COME OUT AND SEE ABOUT THE LEAK, BUT NEVER SHOWED UP OR CALLED. ALSO CONTRACTOR DID NOT RETURN TO REPLACE REAR GUTTER , TOP OF ROOF BARREL TILES AND DID NOT PROVIDE ME WITH PROPER PAID IN FULL RECEIPT AS PROMISED.Desired Settlement: I WOULD LIKE SOME OF THE MONEY RETURNED OR WORK COMPLETED !
