I was very unhappy..I was homeless for over a week Closing was supposed to be by the first and we didn't close before I had to be out of my rented home I had to store my belongings in a rental truck for 8days an expense I had not planned on This was supposed to be a great experience, but turned out to be a very unplesant one I have never been homeless before

We were referred to Academy for by our new construction mortgage solution There is no "corporate" feel here, which is a good thing, even though Academy is a large, national lender The folks at the Fort Wayne Academy were extremely friendly and helpful through out my process, especially at closing, which can be an extremely stressful point of the mortgage process I was using my VA benefits, and they were very thorough, and knowledgeable about the entire process and requirements Nothing popped up by surprise It was refreshing to have some "friends", helping us along the way Thanks so much to Nick and Mari!!
I sourced my mortgage through Academy ...they were helpful and got everything complete on time even though there were several issues that required resolving at the last minute
My experience with Nick at Academy Mortgage was very positiveI liked how everything was straight forward; he didn't play around with the details, and outlined everything in the paperwork, which is nice because, hey, its a mortgage, there is a lot of paperwork! I will recommend Nick to others in the future
