I would be happy to provide a free alignment service or a free synthetic oil change for the customer time, whichever he would like, however the cost of each of these is over the amount of the rebate so we could not provide both? [redacted]
[redacted] I was clearly told that the promotion had a (Mail in rebate) with the purchase of 4 new tires of the Hankook brand of a refund of $ 100 dollars. Not only an employee, during the process of the purchase I was attended by three different workers and all considered with the same. Which made me fill out several forms to mail, but in the end it was not legitimate what the promotion. How is it possible that if there is a human error ... suseda three kisses. I am not claiming the purchase of two tires and the other two for free .. simply the (mail in rebate) that I was offered in the purchase of the 4 new tires.

We do offer various promotions over any given time frame and some promotions can be combined with other promotions and some can not.  when they can not they are clearly identified on our forms and will state very clearly can not combine with x or can not combine with y.  We Absolutely will...

honor any promotion that we have within the guidelines of the promotion.  Our recent mail in rebates did not allow to combine a buy 2 get 2 promotion with a mail in promotion for the same products and the mail in form clearly states that, we will give one promotion or the other whichever is better for the customer.

We did receive Mr [redacted] request for a mail in rebate and it was mailed out to his address he provided of [redacted].  the gift card was mailed to him on 12/6/2016  that reward card number was ending in [redacted] and it was a visa card.  that card was activated...

at a later date.  I did receive a phone call from customer and called him back 2 times, both times it would not allow a message to be left sayign the first time on 3/24/17 that per the subscribers request this phone does not take incoming calls and the second time at 2:20 pm on 3/24 it just kept asking for a password and would not allow me to leave a message. Discount Tire Centers did full fill our obligation, we sent out the reward card, we did try to contact customer back but his phone was unable to be reached.  we are not responsible for lost or stolen reward cards as stated in the rules to the rebate. If customer is stating that he did not receive the rewards card , I would be happy to provide him a free oil change for his next visit but the card we sent was activated, we did pay for it and it has been used. [redacted]

We have reviewed the complaint, and we have replaced the part on the customers vehicle for no charge.  At our last communication with the customer the customer is happy with the resolution.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below. If you read the response, it says that you must  PURCHASE their discount package for an unstated amount,  which turns out to be more than if you just purchase the tires and installation.   That is my complaint itself.  It is a horrible way to conduct business.   By deception.  In addition,  they are not the lowest price as they state.  Does this seem like a truly honest or professional way to conduct business?   I sure do not think so.

Review: This guy is literally a crook. I visited the closest store to my house which was the Discount tire center in cathedral city, ca. The guy loosened my strut and over exaggerated the severity of the condition of my vehicle. He said he wasn't allowed to let me leave after giving me a list of problems a thousand dollars long. I tightened my strut myself and went for a second (trusted) opinion. After finding out what was REALLY wrong with my car, I now see how crooked this little tire shack actually was. It turns out these problems were less than $150 in parts. The other $1600 the guy was quoting would go to pay the mechanic for his 3 or 4 hours of labor (even at $80 an hour, that's only $320). So...there ya go. I will NEVER EVER return to this facility! I paid $40 dollars for them to "inspect" my vehicle to "see if the struts were loose first," before I was allowed to proceed with the $89.99 alignment (advertised "44.99 for most vehicles" out front).Desired Settlement: I would mostly like to see corporate come in and "clean house." I would also love my $40 dollars back to compensate me for the troubles, the chicanery, and sleaziness your establishment has brought to me and my family.

Review: On Tuesday, February 10, while looking on-line for the best tire deal, I saw an advertisement by Discount Tire Centers(which is still posted on their site) that says "BUY TWO TIRES GET TWO FREE ON ALL IN STOCK ON BRANDS LIKE THESE", so I called the location in Huntington Beach regarding the purchasing of four (4) inexpensive tires for a Honda Civic (185-65-R14). The advertisement lists the following brands Goodyear, Pirelli, Hankook, Kumho, Blacklion, Minerva and on the bottom left of the advertisement it says in very small and lightly written words, "Some Restrictions Apply Expires 2/16/15". When I called the location, a male answered but said he was really busy but would call me right back. I gave him my name, the tire size and my phone number, but never received a call back. About 2 hours later I re-called the shop and spoke to a different employee, who I told that I was interested in the advertised "Hankook" tires they listed on-line for $62.00 each, which would be two that are advertised as being ones available for the buy 2, get 2 free advertisement. I realized that I still had to pay for 4 wheel balancing's at $12.50 ea = $50.00, 4 Tire Disposals at $3.50 ea = $14.00, 4 Valve Stems at $1.99 ea = $7.96, 4 State Tire Fees @ $1.75 ea = $7.00 and 4 Wheel Weights @ $1.00 ea. = $4.00 and State Tax @ approx. $23.00. I figured that my total, after deducting $124.00 for the 2 free tires, should be about $225.00 to $230.00. After being on hold for a short time, the person came back and told me that my total would be $480.00 ? At first I thought he misunderstood the tire size, or type of tire, but after confirming them I asked how he came to that total? and his total was more than it would be for me to buy the tires without the 2 free advertisement. The person then began telling me how the "restrictions" required me to purchase a FOUR WHEEL ALIGNMENT, and REQUIRED me to purchase the "NITROGEN" for each tire. He also stated that unfortunately, the tire prices and parts were incorrect.Desired Settlement: When I called the Corporate Office in Anaheim, I was told that I would be receiving a call back and never have. I think they should not be misrepresenting their prices and should honor them as they are stated. "Restrictions" to me, does not mean you must purchase extra costly items. I would think that would pertain to the type of vehicle, wheels etc...
