Our Manager spoke with Mrs. [redacted], and addressed what seemed to be a both an error made with the balancing, and some gaps in communication on our part. He did offer to reimburse her for fuel due to her return for service. She did not raise the request for a partial reimbursement after the clarification of her true need to keep her safe, and that was the age of the tires.According to Chad, she seemed satisfied and appreciative of his call and offer.

trying to sell me tires as soon as I walked in the door.They told me that the integrity of the tire was a concern, However I didnt see anything wrong with the tires myself.Then to not be told about my rim being bent, that makes me believe the damage came from them changing my tires.Then there is the issue of my tires being out of balance as soon as I leave the shop.Then having my son told that the machine at the far end of the building doesnt really work right.I want the cost to be cut in half due to the fact I DONT believe I really needed tires.The car only has 33566 miles on it when I purchased it.[redacted]

On 8/2/14, I brought my vehicle in to have a flat tire repaired or replaced at the Discount Tire at [redacted].
The employee who assisted me said that my tire was damaged/flat due to the uneven ware on the tire and thus, I could not use my warranty to replace the tire. My husband had found a nail in the tire! He then advised me that Discount Tire had no tires in stock similar to the current tires on my vehicle. Our goal was to replace the flat tire and buy two new tires/due to the fact I replaced another tire earlier in the year.
I would like to say, I feel completely taken advantage of due to the fact I was a woman and had my child with me. The employee "guilted" me into buying FOUR new tires, when I should have basically only purchased two. I have used Discount Tire for years for tires for my vehicles, but after this intimidating experience, I will no longer bringing my business to this company. No one should go through this.

The customer's tires did not have enough tread to be rotated within company guidelines but we were able to find an adjustable condition with both of their front tires and replaced them under the customer's certificate warranty. The customer is very happy with the solution.

Customer returned to store on 9/15 and we were able to swap out the tire and issued customer a credit. Customer is satisfied with resolution.

Monday morning at 8:55 am I checked in to discount tire to get a flat repair. They told me it would be an hour so I waited. Four white customers went before me and yet they checked in after me in line. The last white gentlemen that got his truck done in less than 30 min. I waited 1 hour and 35 min. due to the shop manager skipping over me. I'm Hispanic and thought this doesn't happen in this day and age, but it does. The manager tried to assure me that it wasn't racial, but four white person and one Hispanic person??? You be the judge. Discount Tire lost my business and my family business. I'm sure I don't make a small dent, but it is a start....

I have been a customer of Discount Tire at 43rd Ave and Glendale Ave for many years. I travel quite a bit and it is vital to have dependable tires and to have a service center in which I can rely for consistently outstanding work and for quick service. I am always impressed by Discount Tire's customer service, prices, and most importantly, the work they perform. Feeling safe on the road means everything.

Original estimate was written to replace the customer's rocker panels per the customer's request. However, we had another company review the estimate and learned  the rocker panels can be repaired. The business that wrote the original estimate also agreed the rocker panels could be...

repaired. We paid the customer $1,390.98, the cost of repairing the panels. Since the vehicle is 15 years old, we do not owe to put new parts on the vehicle.

We received the receipt from the customer and we are reimbursing them for the damaged lug bolt. We have left a message for the customer to either stop by the store to pick up or to give the store a call and let them know if they would like it mailed to them.

They hammered my rims to remove the tires, and I went back with before and after pictures. The owner said that it was salt damage, when there was no snow, no salt, and I have the date to prove it and the weather in Chicago was exceedingly mild. I also have an image of my car's paint on the rims, which he said I must have gotten onto it, which is impossible because it logically can never happen.
Not only did they not admit to it, they said it was my fault, and I am sure that I did not get nonexistent salt damage in a matter of hours before or after I went to discount tire.

I object to the statement that [redacted] agreed to a price for repair and I have attached the statement from the manager concerning the dialogue with the adjuster.   DT may consider the matter closed but being strong armed to accept a less than full price of the repair prior to the ability to complete my inquiry is not customer friendly.  Hopefully someone reading my complaint will reconsider doing their business here.

We have take care of the customer's desired settlement. We had replaced his lugs and locks at no charge. Thank you!

Customer's tire was warrantied out and given a $93.75 credit. Customer paid $31.25 for the new tire (valued at $125). Customer also purchased 2 warranties for $38 total which we will refund if customer would like.
