Ordered my GRANITE Countertops and had installed by DISTINCTIVE SURFACES , I HAVE TO SAY OVERAL VERY HAPPY WITH THE JOB , BUT I WAITED A MONTH TO GET THEM -Then one LARGE PIECE OF GRANITE WAS CUT WRONG
I WAITED AN OTHER WEEK TO GET IT FINISHED THEY HAD TO ORDER MORE MY COLOR , WAS ABLE TO GET SAME LOT THEY DID LEAVE THE BAD PIECE SO I HAD A COUNTER WHEN THEY CAME BACK THE GUYS WERE GREAT AND DID A GREAT JOB ! JUAN was leadman on job - good! NEVER HEARD WHY THE GRANITE WAS WAS CUT AT AN ANGLE ? BUT OVERALL HAPPY WITH JOB , BOUGHT THRU THE HOME DEPOT AND THEY INSTALL FOR HOME DEPOT

The company did an awful job installing my kitchen counters and are arguing about whether or not they should fix it
This is a vendor that was contracted by *** to install my kitchen and master bathroom quartz sinks The install in the kitchen is atrocious, from an off center seam, to an under-mount sink what was installed lopsided and with the glue visible and they broke a cabinet during the install Despite numerous phone calls from both me directly and *** there has still been no acknowledgement of the shoddy work and no willingness to fix the problem of the uneven and visible seam, the improperly installed sink and the broken cabinet The issue has been going on for six weeks- initial counter install was the 18th of December The first day, the installers forgot the sinks for the master bathroom even though they had sad undermount sink holes are cut at the factory The 2nd time they were meant to come between and 5, they called me at 4:to tell me they would be ther

This is a very professional firm The quartz counter top I ordered fit perfectly and the installation was very well done on time and on budget The installers had a couple of challenges that they handled very well and the overall result exceeded my expectations

Distinctive Surfaces installed a Quartz countertop in our kitchen They were easy to work with, they showed up to measure and install at the agreed upon times, they were professional and courteous, and the countertop looks great!

Distinctive Surfaces was great to work with and very patient with our many delays The installers were professional, clean, prepared, informative and friendly They did an amazing installation job and were very careful in a couple of sticky situations The staff at Distinctive Surfaces was helpful and offered appropriate suggestions when we realized that our originally chosen granite was not going to work with the color of the sinks They helped us choose another piece of granite and even though we were a small order- used the little crane to pull out granite pieces that they thought would look best We chose one of their suggestions and it looks amazing We are so happy with our "leathered" finish - really cool in our bathroom I will definately go back to Distinctive Surfaces for our next bathroom remodel
I just completed a good review for Distinctive Surfacesbut have to amend that review My plumber finished installing the plumbing and asked why the sinks were not caulked to the counter top And sure enough- they are not Plumber says usually the granite installers do the sink install but Distictive Surfaces refused to come back and caulk the sink because "their plumber did not install the faucets etc..." So on second thought- I may not use this company again
Review- part three- I am happy to reverse my negative evaluation of Distinctive SurfacesOnce a key employee learned that our drop in sinks were not caulked to the graniteDistinctive Services sent a caulking team to our house with in minutes to finish the job The caulk is drying and I am once again a happy customer This experience says more about the company's customer service than a "no issues" job- Obviously, they went the extra yard to ensure that our countertop and sinks were safe and serviceable and to provide the "above and beyond" customer service that is characteristic of a quality service oriented company

We purchased a Silestone quartz countertop(black) last year, through home depot which uses Distinctive SurfacesWe had problems with staining next to the sink, I went to home depot, they said contact Distinctive Surfaces It took a month of contacting them, and contacting Home Depot Corporate before someone would come look at itThe person who looked at it said the staining happens all the time to the dark colorsThe quartz is still under warranty I got an email from Distinctive Surfaces saying that said my claim was deniedThe material is still under warrantyI could not find out why it was denied, nor was provided paperwork stating suchDistinctive Surfaces agreed to split the cost for the new piece of countertop with home depot and myselfI did not hear back, called Home Depot, they left me a voice mail saying they were paying for the install and would not pay any part of the counter topDistinctive Surfaces just emailed me saying they were only the installer, funny that two weeks ago they were willing to share the cost to replace the damaged piece Beware, neither they, Silestone or Home Depot stands by the productAfter weeks of trying to resolve this, I've paid for a new countertopI would expect that quartz would last more than a year

We bought it in in august paid on a credit cardThey gave all paperwork then and told me if any problems contact themTheir fabricator *** *** told me I am to fix myself that my is no good
