I purchased 2 clergy robes, one was a size 10 and the other a size 14. I brought the 14 because I am currently between a 10-12 and I wanted the space for movement. I purchased the 10 because I am in the process of losing weight..I tried on the 10 and it fit, but fit well. I tried on the 14 and it was too small, it had no size tag in it so I could not tell what size it actually was. I called the company to request that they send me the correct size. First I was told that I had to pay for the garment to be sent back although it was not my fault, then I was told that the garment was a size 14 because they measured it. I explained to them that it could not because I actually am a 10-12 and the garment was too small it would not even button up. I was told that they could send me a new garment, but it was not on sale any longer so I would have to pay the difference and I would have to pay for shipping again. I have reached out for several days, multiple times a day and I am always told that the manager Johnathan is not in the office, he just left for the day or that he will not be in until the afternoon. No matter what time I call he is not in the office. All I wanted was either a full refund with my shipping cost included or the garment that I requested without having to foot the shipping cost again. I promise I will never order from this company again. I think it is sad that they are ripping people off and for such a small amount of money.

I ordered a preaching jacket when it arrived it it was the wrong size and had a cigarette hole in the UPS delivery bag. The back of the jacket also had a cigarette hole in the back along with a tear of thread coming down the middle back of the jacket. I contacted the company and sent back the jacket for correction. When I called them they told me they were not responsible for the hole in the jacket or the delivery. I called numerous times to speak to a manger or owner and each time I called I was told they were out of the office.

I placed an order with this company and paid in full for it. I called to inquire on the delivery and the sales representative was so rude. I explained if the items had not shipped that I wanted to cancel and receive a refund. She rudely replied the order is being shipped. I waited a week and only received part of the order. I called back to request a refund on the item that did not ship and again the same rude representative answered. It seems this is a one woman organization that serverlly lacks professionalism. I'm getting the run around rather than the merchandise or my refund. I WILL NEVER PURRCHASE ANYTHING ELSE FROM THEM! The order was placed on August 10, 2019 only received part of it on August 23, 2019.

ordered (3) outfits from us. (2) of the outfits shipped out and were received while the (3rd) which was out of stock was noted to be shipping on 9/3/19 when it was scheduled to be back in stock. As of 9/3/19 the item was still on back order due to shipping delays. That same day, *** filed a claim against. us. We have since refunded her the full amount for the missing outfit and hope that she enjoys her other two. We tried to be as transparent as possible with Ms. Palmer, however it seems she was not satisfied with our timelines. We apologize for this inconvenience.

I usually to do reviews but the public needs to know that this is a horrible company. Don’t order clothing from them. They lie about deadline on when they are going to ship your items just to get you to purchase an item from them. Expect your item to be ship in 3 weeks or more. They sent my item to the wrong address and request that a paid an additional $12 Dallas 50 cent to ship it again to the right address. I requested to speak to a manager for over a week and Christina have refused for me to speak to anyone. Meanwhile to are keeping my item at the office. I am currently in the process of looking for a good lawyer to file a suite on them.

Recently asked for my money back because they do not have what I'm looking for! THEY HAVE MY MONEY!!!!!!

May 21: Ordered a clergy robe from Divinity Clergy Wear (DCW) (Order # ***). The confirmation stated that it should be delivered by May 23.
May 24: Informed DCW that item had not been received. The gentleman, stated he would contact *** and call me back. No call was received.
May 25: I contacted *** Representative (Cynthia) reviewed the scan of the label of the package which showed that the shipper put a double city and state. (***). After confirming my address, she said that she would try to divert the package to the correct address – which may not be possible. This would explain why the package keeps circling between distribution centers, and not delivered. She offered to open a case, which I agreed (case# ***). Called DCW, no answer.
May 29: Called DCW and spoke with Christina. I informed her that I had not received my item and provided her the details from *** She stated she would call me back.
- Received a call back from Christina at 12:33 p.m., stating that I should get my item by the end of the week and that if I didn’t that I would need to contact *** and speak with a supervisor.
- *** Consumer Affairs (*** then contacted me at 2:47 pm about my case submission, and stated that the package was double addressed. Ultimately the package was in “circulation” because of the barcoding is configured to the first address *** Ultimately, it will be return to its sender. I requested a copy of the label, but she stated that it was an internal document, however she would be willing to speak with shipper and explain.
- Called DCW and spoke with Christina again, but she stated that the tracking shows it in route. I then explained to her, what Consumer Affairs stated and provided her the information. She said she would call back…I have not heard anything.
I believe this was an intentional act. DCW knows the package is lost and they have since charged my credit card

I had talked to someone initially about a clergy robe from this company. They helped me out and were very courteous. I did ask about the return policy, and they said they did allow returns, but the customer service representative did not get into details as it relates to the return policy. I received the robe in a timely fashion, but I was very unsatisfied with the material and make of the product. I immediately sent the item back. This is when I noticed that I could not get a full return for my product ( I could only buy something within the store from my credit). I talked to someone there at the store, and I explained thoroughly what I was looking for. I was told that they would have a product what I am looking for in soon as a new item. I have sent several emails regarding this "new" product and even ask for pictures and have not gotten a response. As of right now, this store has the money I used to purchase the product, and I have no product!

I ordered a suit for my husband in December 2018. We noticed that the top was missing buttons. I contacted the receptionist and was advised to take a photo of the suit top and send it via email to their customer service department. After hearing nothing back in a week, I called to ensure that they had received the email. I spoke with a male who verified receipt of the email and stated that they would send me a "call tag". When I inquired about what that was I was informed that it was a bag to send my husbands suit back in. In has been two more weeks and no response. I am requesting to have a new suit top with the buttons and a bag to return the old suit top in at their expense. I paid $99.00. I am very disappointed with their poor customer service and will not be ordering again. I am not interested in store credit just either a new suit top with buttons or a full refund. I would appreciate any help that you can provide.

This company is ripping people off. They’re sizes for robes are not conventional sizes or up to standard with the clothing industry. I had to send the robe back twice that I ordered from them. Each time I talked to someone there about my size. I wear a men’s size 44. Each time I received a robe about 3-4 times my size. What makes matters worse, they didnt have a size tag on the robe at all. When I complain to them they seem. It to care. Then if you’re not satisfied with any of their products, you don’t get a refund. They only give store credit. I’m sending the robe back for the last time and I’ll never do business with Divinity Clergy Wear again. Pastor Brown.

I ordered two clergy shirts from this company. They were both sent timely. After trying them on, I discovered that one fit fine and the other was about 2 sizes too small. Both were labeled with the size I ordered but were obviously NOT the size labeled. I immediately contacted the company asking that the one that was too small be replaced with the correct one or that I be credited for the incorrect shirt and allowed to send back. After nearly one month I have not heard anything from the company. No reply, no email, no phone call, nothing. The shirt is still hanging on my closet ready to be returned. Their website says "Effective February 17, 2017 ALL SALES ARE FINAL - THERE ARE NO REFUNDS. YOU MAY EXCHANGE FOR STORE CREDIT ONLY. THANK YOU " and "there is a 20% re-stocking fee and then the remaining balance will available as store credit only. Sorry no exceptions. " Why should I have to pay for something that isn't my fault? They sent the wrong shirt; they should replace it or give me a refund. This "no returns, sorry" policy is unfair and uncharacteristic of such a company.

We apologize that *** is unhappy with his shirts. To date, we have not received the shirts back. If he would like, he can return the shirts for a full refund of the price of the shirts only - shipping is not refundable. The shirts can only be returned if they are unworn, the tags are still attached and it is still in its original form. We apologize for the lack of communication, but to date we do not have any records of correspondence from ***. We hope that are offer of refunding him his money in exchange for getting our unworn merchandise back will allow all parties to move past this issue. Thank you

I am rejecting this response because:
I DID contact the company via their web form, sent them my receipt number and the issue I had with sizing. I said that I'd be happy to send the shirt or shirts back if they provide me with instructions on how to do it. After waiting about a month I assumed that the company didn't care or didn't check their web form messages, which is why I contacted the Revdex.com. but when the company didn't contact the Revdex.com after 3 weeks I then assumed the company was just trying to rip me off. After reading many other complaints about them on the Revdex.com, I filed a complaint with the New Jersey Consumer Protection.

At this point I am less concerned about a refund (too much of a hassle). I just want the company to increase their customer service and respond to emails and issues in a timely manner and treat their customer, many of whom are clergy, with respect and compassion. Their refund policy is horrible and doesn't favor the customer in any way, even if the mistake is on the side of the company. Fix this, show some love, and that's good enough for me.

Divinity Clothing wear is the worst business ever. I ordered a jacket and two shirts. Neither of the three fit. Call them and the clerk said she will exchange them for correct size. I paid to send them back. When I called to verify their arrival I was told by the boss he will not except the clothing back, not even for a store credit. Now they have my jacket, shirts and my money.

On June 20th after 5pm I ordered a clergy robe from this company, the next morning I did not receive email confirmation so I called to verify they received my order only to find out they did not have the robe I wanted even though they website stated it was available. The lady I spoke with stated her name was Tasia. We spoke on June 21, 2018 @ 10:55am, she told me the robe I wanted was not available and that she would cancel the order and process a refund. She stated it would take 2 business days for the refund to process. I waited the 2 days and called back on June 25th @ 11:13 am and she stated that she apologized, but her manager had not completed the refund but she would get it taken care of that day. On June 26th @ 1:23pm I called again, she answered gave me the same information, still nothing. The last time we spoke which was June 27th @ 10:26am she was apologetic and stated she would give the manager a message to call me. This issue has not been resolved and I still have the charge on my card. It is very frustrating and disappointing to be treated in this way.

I ordered from their website “Divinityclergywear “I never received my order tried to contact for a refund and I was told that I would receive one in three days. I never received my refund or my order and they have not contacted me back or made it right. I lost $165 and it makes me angry that people take advantage of people.

I ordered 6 mens suits from Divinty Clergy Wear on March 23rd 2018. I have received only 4 suits...2 of the suits are incorrect. First I ordered 3 double breasted. and 3 button suits. I received 2 double breasted suits I ordered 3 double breasted suits. I received 2 2 button suits that I never ordered....I have tried to get an answer from the company about the other suits...The only thing we are getting is the run around. We were told that compensation will be giving. Will refund 150.00 dollars.
I would like to resolve this matter.

After payment was made a portion of my order was never shipped. Several attempt were made to reconcile the issue including phone calls with voice messages left with the business, contact via e-mail, and also through Facebook.

The order (*** was made on January 15th. The item that has not been received is described is as follows: Tab Collar Cufflink Clergy Shirt With Embroidered Cuff, SKU: FC-EMB-01 QTY: 1 Price: $49.99 USD. As of today 2/27/18 there is no indication that the product has shipped.

When the partial order arrived in the mail there was a note on the packaging slip indicating that the remaining shirt in the order would be shipped on 2/5. When the shirt did not arrive the company was contacted on 2/12 and a representative named Jordan indicated that the item would ship and gave a tracking number for the ***. When the product still had not shown as shipped a phone call to the company was placed on 2/23. A representative indicated then that the item would ship on 2/26/18. As of 11a.m. on 2/27/18 the item still is indicated as "PRE-SHIPMENT INFO SENT TO ***, *** AWAITING ITEM" by the ***.

I ordered a robe and two collar shirts from this company lat year April 2017. It's now almost one year later and none of my ordered item received. I've called and left message after message, no one replies to your or pick up the phone. They are liars and thieves. It's a pathetic shame for them to pose as ministerial clergy and treat the clergy this way. DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY AND TIME WITH THIS COMPANY. IT'S A FRAUDULENT BUSINESS.

I ordered a clergy robe from this website on October 12, 2017, and it said that they ship within 1-3 days. One and a half weeks after I ordered it (October 23), I called because it still hadn't arrived. He assured me that they would send it that day, and it would arrive on Thursday (Oct. 26). It did not arrive! the following Monday (Oct. 30), he assured me they would ship it that day, and send me a tracking number, and that it would come on Wednesday (Nov 1). They didn't! I called the next day, Tuesday, and he said he would ship it that day! Then I received an email with a tracking number that did not work! I still have not received it (Today is Wednesday, Nov 1), I called again today, and he said he promises he shipped it yesterday, and he would call me right back. He still has not called me back, and I have called him 5 times since with no answer. I am so stressed because I was given the job to order this robe for the church for an ordination on Saturday! It was $150 of the church's money. This is not ok!

We do realize and acknowledge the inconvenience and stress this may have caused to ***, and we apologize for that as well. I ordered two clergy shirts, one black one purple. When I received my order there was one black and one green which they call pool. I was not looking in a catalog so I knew nothing about the color pool. I have tried at least 6 times to call and left messages. My wife has also called and emailed them. Neither one of us have received a response. According to their return policy you need a code in order to return any item. We are still waiting.

I purchased a black suit from Divinity Clergywear.com. The website is deceiving. The quality of the merchandise is of a much lower quality than advertised on their website. When it arrived, I noticed that other than being very wrinkled and in poor condition, it was not black first of all. It was a nebulous shade of off-black. Then the pants are a different shade of off-black to the jacket.
Reaching customer service was a nightmare. I ended up returning the defective suit at my own expense and now that they have acknowledged receiving it, they are refusing to exchange or issue a refund for the defective merchandise and they are refusing to refund shipping even though they expressly said that they would refund the cost of shipping.
As it stands now, they have the defective suit and they have my money.

When our customer service first spoke to the customer he was advised to send the "defective" product back to us so we could analyze the issue and take it up with the manufacturer of the suit in question. We use the professional pictures the suit manufacturer provides in their catalog in the highest resolution we can acquire. If a customer is unsatisfied with a product, we provide an avenue for returns and exchanges consistent to the standard in our industry. Upon receiving the suit, we found the suit to be ALTERED (hemmed bottom) and in a much poorer conditions than the manufacturer sent it out in. There were no tags and clear signs of wear as I have provided in attachments. Our number one rule, as has been for the history of the clothing industry, is nothing can be returned after it is altered and we state that on our Shipping & Returns page found with a link on every page of our website.

We believe that each and every customer has a responsibility to inspect each item they receive before they have it altered and if a color is not what you wanted, there would be no need to have it altered in the first place. It's that rule that basically governs customer responsibility throughout the industry. If the suit was as defective as the customer describes, he, or the tailor/seamstress he was using certainly would have noticed these egregious defects and contacted us right away.

Instead the suit was altered and the issue arose sometime after that. We were contacted in the late afternoon on 7/20/17, 5 days after the suit arrived (Tracking Info: *** and PROMPTLY sent him a shipping label the next business day. We received the item back 12 days later on 8/2/17 only to find it to be altered after we explained it could not be sent back in that condition.

I ask that this complaint be stricken from our record. We are always happy to exchange a suit as we understand issues arise, but will never accept a return that has been altered and comes without the original tags as we are unable to both return it to the manufacturer and/or re-sell it.

The 3 attachments in order consist of *** Suit upon its return to us (first to pictures) and a sample of the same suit in beige as it was sent from *** We hope this helps!

I am rejecting this response because:

1. A return label was sent. It expired on the same day they sent it to where I was not able to print it. This happened twice. The level of their customer service is abysmal.

2. Look closely at the quality of the suit that they have as a sample and you will see that the quality of the garments that they put on their website and you can see the degree to which they are willing to deceive and scam potential customers.

3. In the original complaint, I should have mentioned that their website is deceiving. They put one quality of merchandise on the website and send you a much more inferior quality of product to what is advertised on their website. There needs to be at least a modicum of truthfulness in their advertising or else close down their website until they can be some truthfulness in what they advertise into what they send.

4. I understand the issue of the alteration. Send the defective suit back to me. I think it is outrageous for this company to get to keep this mismatched, poor quality, off-black instead of black suit which they WILL find a way to re-sell AND keep my hard-earned $151 plus $11 to ship it back to them because their shipping label did not work.

5. Revdex.com needs to look at reviews from other customers and see that I am not the only one who has been scammed by Divinity Clothing.

6. I wish for this complaint to remain on Revdex.com's website and not be stricken as requested by Divinity Clothing.
