Mr. Steve B[redacted] came out for the routine service call on my HVAC unit. He displayed the utmost courtesy and professionalism during his visit. He answered all my questions in a clear and concise manner, along with providing excellent tips on how to better regulate the heat flow in my home. His assessment of the overall condition of my unit was consistent with my pre conceived notion based on the unit operation. He also happily took an extra few minutes to help me solve a minor problem with my gas fireplace. I plan to ask for him for my routine service calls in the future, or any other problems I may have with my unit, as I'm confident he will solve them quickly and easily.

ComplaintTo: [redacted]@myRevdex.com.org[redacted]I offered to go to [redacted]’s home personally over the weekend so as not to inconvenience her to re check the system, she refused, I do not feel as though we were wrong in our diagnoses and repairs performed.I have spoken to all the parties involved including Phil who spoke with her at 7:00 PM that evening. We only run emergency service calls in the evenings, and since her air conditioner is/was working just noisy we scheduled her for the next day. She called and canceled that appointment and refuses to let us return to the house.In good faith I have refunded $405 she paid for our service and material/parts installed. Jim W

I spoke with **. [redacted] and had agreed to honor the warranty that my salesmen had wrote on his proposal. I have attached the copy of the proposal that my salesmen had turned into my office for some reason it is different than his copy.
**. [redacted] sent me his copy that had a longer warranty, I am not sure what the mix up was but I agreed to replace the uv light free of charge, we scheduled the replacement and as far as I knew the work was done and he was happy.  
Our normal warranty is 1 year labor and the manufacture warranties their products for different lengths of time, Honeywell is 5 years.
How would you like for me to proceed? I would be happy to replace the UV light whenever he can be available.

Fred arrived on time. He was very knowledgeable about my system and offered helpful pointers on the heating and humidifying aspects. I was very pleased with the PM visit.

Please accept my apologies I just received notification of this complaint today.
I did speak with [redacted] and had agreed to match the other companies price and refund the money paid if she replaced the air conditioner with us.
I had agreed to refund $200 and...

mailed the check. That check was sent out months ago, I checked my account and it was never cashed. I can issue another check.Both of the servicemen that I sent to [redacted]'s house have many years of experience and have been with my company for many years.
The air conditioner was 14 years old the average life of an air conditioner in about 12 years. My serviceman Tim did everything he could to get the system running and it was working when he left. Apparently the refrigerant leak worsened after our service so when my serviceman Son arrived the refrigerant had leaked out. I do not understand why [redacted] would not trust our services, we did our best to fix an old unit and alerted her of the age of the system prior to performing the repairs. I certainly want to resolve any complains and want no hard feelings. Please advise of how we can resolve this.

To whom it may concern:I have reviewed [redacted] complaint and spoke with her on the phone, unfortunately after my tech had made repairs and left the home the water heater stopped working. I don't feel like her concerns were handled in the best manor on my end. I have made corrections with my...

staffs processes for handling our customers concerns and feel confident this will not happen again. I have agreed to refund the $150 [redacted] had paid for our service and have apologized. When servicing older mechanical equipment other problems can occur just after a repair as in her case, [redacted] has contracted wit another company to replace the water heater. I have provided my direct line so that she can contact me directly if she should have any concerns in the future.  As our reviews indicate we do not have many customer complaints and out reputation is very important to us. hopefully with a little coaching this will not happen in the future.Thank you for your time,Jim W[redacted]President DM Select Services.

Excellent experience. The workmen did a great job removing and installing my new HVAC system. The price for the new system was very reasonable and they were able to schedule the installation quickly.

We were literally minutes away from leaving town for Thanksgiving when I discovered a plumbing problem in our basement. I contacted DM Select of Burke, VA and made arrangements for a service call for later that day. I gave instructions regarding a key and we left town with a lot of anxiety. We were still on the road when we received a call from Stephen J who informed us that our problem was a simple fix and he had already taken care of it. What a relief! When we returned home we checked the basement and it looked like there had never been a problem. We will continue to do all our plumbing, heating and AC business with DM Select and highly recommend them to anyone.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution is satisfactory to the extent the UV Lamp was finally replaced at no cost to me.  I have to note, however, that it took numerous calls, the filing of this complaint, and the threat of legal action (sending them a copy of the prepared claims form) before they even called me back and agreed to resolve this issue.  How they handlled the matter was completely unsatisfactory.  That said, as the lamp has now been replaced, I consider this complaint closed.  Thank you for your help in resloving it.
