Business said policy states the customer is supposed to send the old part back, which hasn't been done in this case.  Business is going to take care of the customer anyway and make a new item and ship it out on Monday.

Review: I sent the item out for repair months ago. Ive tried calling and sent emails and have yet received any information regarding it. I even thought the business went out of business but I recently visited their site and its a new page. And again I sent them an email and no response.Desired Settlement: I would like the item replaced under warranty. If they cannot I want the original product back.

Review: I ordered products from DMH Performance through a retailer, exhaust cutouts to be exact. A few months after installing them, they began to rattle and cause unwanted noise. It took a full month of non stop calling and emailing to even get a hold of the owner [redacted], the only employee there. The retailer is having the same problem as me, they can not get a hold of DMH. He does not return emails, calls, and is literally almost impossible to get a hold of. Once I finally reached him, I was told to send them back and he would replace them free of charge under warranty. This was on September 27th. I shipped them back and tracked the package, and it was received on October 4th. I included a note, including the problem, my phone number, name, and return address. Since receiving my exhaust cutouts, I have not heard anything back. It's now January 9th, my calls go unanswered, messages not returned, and emails ignored. I've exhausted every option I can to contact him.Desired Settlement: I'd either like my exhaust cutouts shipped back or a refund, it's been 5 months of nothing on his end, no attempt to contact, no product, no refund. The fact someone can run a business like this is pathetic.

Review: One of the motors stopped working on the product that I purchased from this company. After many attempts to get in tough with the company to get my warranty resolved, I was requested to get a number off of the mart the designates the part number. I have emailed and called several times leaving voice mails but I never get a return email, phone call or warranty part. In my opinion, this company should not be in business due to its inability to even communicate to customers. Below is a copy of the email trail with this company. Review: It has now been over 8 months since I had these e-cutouts mailed for replacement. I only used these cutouts for approximatly 2 months and then stopped working. It seems that [redacted] owner or I do not know if he is has been going thru family issues, but that is still no excuss to not reply to your customers or not answer your phone. I feel as if I was robbed and scamed for a 400 plus dollar product. When cantacted thru phone seems that he just tells you what you want to hear and makes false promisses.Desired Settlement: I like my money back or atleast my product that cost me more than 400 plus dollars replaced and sent back to me.

Review: I purchased a set of Electronic cut-outs for my car late 2012. I had them professionally installed as per directions provided by seller. For the first few months, I rarely used the cut outs as it was winter.As Spring came around (which showed up quite late in Saskatchewan this year), I began to use the cut outs more frequently. Before the spring was out, I was having plenty of issues - all of which I had communicated to the seller by way of numerous voice messages and email messages.First of all, one of the "motors" on the cut-outs had fallen off. At my expense, I had it repaired (Cost of $60.00 approx). The repair didn't last more than 2 days. I had it repaired again, at the same facility as the first repair where they applied a High Heat Epoxy to the motor to hold it in place - it's in there perfectly now.Shortly after this "fix" the other cut-out seized up and would not close. I again took it to the muffler shop for them to look at it and they confirmed the motor was seized.They detached the motor, and closed the cut-out. While the motor was off, they checked the lubrication inside the housing and confirmed it was fine - the problem was actually with the motor - it was showing signs of rust from humidity. The seller told me before purchase that the cut outs were good for all weather and that was why he had a 4 year warranty.They were able to lubricate the motor to get it to operate (using first a penetrating oil to remove as much of the rust as it could, then applied a dry teflon spray to prevent future issues.)..cost, $60.00 (shop rate - minimum charge).Within weeks of that fix, the OTHER cut-out seized...so back to the shop, another $60.00 - and the same fix was done. Needless to say, the motors have once again seized up. They are not working as indicated.I bought a pair of CUSTOM Cut-Outs from DMH and they are problematic.I was willing to accept replacement motors - however the seller has refused to call me. Now I want a FULL Refund. I will ship his stuff back.Desired Settlement: As indicated in the message above, the seller has refused to call me. I have left messages, and sent emails. At least a dozen times.I would have been fine with a replacement of the motors in the beginning - but due to sellers lack of customer service and unwillingness to honour his warranty, I have decided I want a Full Refund. I should also ask to be reimbursed for the extra shop charges incurred - but I will live with that.Seller can also cover shipping costs to return defective items.

Review: I purchased the Low Profile Electric Exhaust Cutouts about three years ago and they recently stopped functioning. Naturally, I contacted the company regarding the four year warranty that I was eligible for, however, I was never replied to. I left approximately two voicemails and over three emails, all of which went unanswered. Before posting this complaint, I reviewed the others which also seem to coincide with my problem of being unable to receive the warranty. In fact, the first email I sent was not for a direct replacement, but rather for simple troubleshooting that could save myself and DMH time and money. Unfortunately, the company has not been up-to-par with their expected guarantees.Desired Settlement: Personally, the product itself is fantastic. The service however is something to be determined. I would very much appreciate a simple replacement of the product or at very least some acknowledgement.

Review: About one year ago I called DMH performance to ask if I could get an exchange for my broken parts and they said to ship it to them, so I did. I have not heard anything back from them. I have been calling them every week for the past year. The phone just rings and goes to a voicemail which is full. There is no possible way for me to get a response from them. I have already bought a replacement part which has all costed me hundreds of dollars. I believe the policy is just an exchange but I would prefer to get a cash refund as I have no use for the parts anymore.Desired Settlement: $360.00 or the exchange to be completed. Review: Purchased electric cutouts with a 4 yr warranty. They started to leak after a year. Spoke to him and told he had new switches and would send me 2 out( one for me and one for the set I installed on my father inlaws car) he no longer answers his phone or responds to emails.Desired Settlement: I need this fixed, if he has the switches send them or stand by his warranty and replace the cutouts.

Review: Sent product back (DMH cut out) for replacement 4 months ago, was told it would take a few weeks however it has now been 4 months with no response. unable to reach by phone or email. Product has a 4 year warranty that is not being honored and now the business has my product and money, I am left with nothing. 0 customer support.Desired Settlement: I would just like a replacement cut out as stated in the warranty. After 4 months, I believe this is more than fair. I should be asking for more however, I would just like the warranty honored and a little customer support - it goes a long ways!

Review: Hi I recently order a product from DMH Performance about a month ago. I received the product about a week after I ordered it. The product I received was the wrong item. I called them and notified Dmh of this. I was told to send it back and it would be swapped for the correct item. The next day I sent the item back by ups 3 day delivery. I called about a week later to verify they received the item back and they had received it. I was then told my correct item would be shipped in a day or two and that was three weeks ago. I have been calling and leaving messages for the past three weeks I have even emailed them with no response. I have yet to receive my product and my credit card has been charged I need some answers.Desired Settlement: I would like to receive my product that I have paid for, but if not I would like my money refunded.

NOTHING!!!Desired Settlement: A IMMEDIATE REFUND AND AFTER READING THE COMPLAINTS HE NEEDS TO BE PUT OUT OF BUSINESS!!!

Review: I placed an order for 2 vehicle exhaust cutouts on May 3rd, 2012, and promptly paid $399 to DMH the same day. It is now 6 months later, and I still have not received the product. I have phoned and emailed DMH many times, and have not received a response in several months. The phone # listed doesn't ring through to an answering machine anymore either. May 31st was the last email response from DMH, and as stated, phone calls are wasted as there is no option to leave a message anymore.Desired Settlement: At this point, I would like a refund of the purchase price. I've contact [redacted] at DMH VIA email and asked for a refund, but haven't received a response.

Review: I sent my DMH Cutout in for repair in June 2013 I have yet to receive my cut out, a email or a retuen phone call. I have called left voicemails sent emails with no response. I would just like my cut out back its been over three monthsDesired Settlement: All I want DMH to do is mail my cutout back to me at my address listed in this complaint. If the cut out can't be repaired in reasonable time which 3 months is I just want my broken product back thats all I'm asking. There is no need from them to keep a product I bought if they cant fix it it is still my broken cut out I rather have it in my hands broken then to not have it at all

Review: In 2010 we purchased electric cut-outs from [redacted] via [redacted] in Katy, Texas who professionally installed them on our [redacted] (we had also previously purchased another set in [redacted] for our [redacted] with minmal issues). A few months ago, we contacted [redacted] requesting a replacement motor for the right side of our [redacted] and after many attempts to confirm it was sent, [redacted] finally sent it. Shortly after receiving it, we discovered that both sides were not closing properly, so we've now been trying to reach [redacted] to request the left side low profile cutout via MULTIPLE emails from my husband [redacted] ([redacted])& one from myself, as well as NUMEROUS phone calls with no answer or reply. They don't have a voicemail, and never answer the phone, however they're online order form is still up. They advertise a 4 year warranty, but we can not reach them.Desired Settlement: either 1. receiving a NEW left side - low profile cut out for [redacted] quickly! 2. or a refund for the set (because we'll have to take both out if one doesn't work).

Review: Have tried contacting company for 3 months and have used email as well as Phone yet have not received one return call or email. I am a customer of the company who was looking for repairs or to repurchase a Part and has gotten absolutely nothing via company in reference to my calls or emails. NumerOus times the answering machine is full and you cannot leave a message and when you can, the calls aren't returned. I am not the only one with this issue. I have tlked to several others with the same issue.Desired Settlement: I wouLd like to have A scar or bad remark made in the Revdex.com for the company dmh Performance.

Review: I purchased a pair of DMH low-profile elect. cut-outs from [redacted] on 6-10-2009, at a cost of $400.00.They come with a 4 year warranty.They started not operating properly earlier this year'leaking,and not closing completly', so I decided to get them repaired. I called 20 times one day, with no answer. The next day I call on 7-13-12, and [redacted] answers, and just says 'hello'. I ask is this DMH PERFORMANCE,and he says 'yes'.I explained my problem, and he says 'Just box them up, and send them back to me, along with a note describing the problem, with a return address, and I will either repair, or replace them, NO PROBLEM'his exact words.Thats exactly what I did on 7-14-12. I know he received them from UPS on7-18-12@3:51pm.That has been over 11 weeks ago. Well since then I have been unable to get any response at all from him. I have called over 100 times,no response. On a few rare ocassions when his answering mach. is on, I have left at least 5 messages, no response.I have sent at least 20 emails, same result.I am now out $400.00,and the cost to ship them back, and have absolutly nothing to show for it, except two gaping holes in my exhaust system.Desired Settlement: All I want is for him to do exactly what he said he would do. Repair, or replace my defective parts.Am I being unreasonable ? Is that to much to ask ?

Review: I ordered the electric cutout. After 2 months of installation the valve started to not work properly. After calling and speaking with [redacted]. He said to email him the proper information (1-22-14) and he would send it out the next day. I tried to call and email multiple times after regarding the warranty replacement of the valve. He has not responded. I emailed 1-29-14 with no response. After multiple phone calls I finally got a hold of [redacted], to which he never heard of me or my issue. I told him my info again and he said he would get back to me (2-3-14). I have yet to hear from him (2-6-14). Left several phone messages and another email asking to be contacted. Still have yet to get a response. DMH is supposed to offer a 4 year warranty on their product.Desired Settlement: I would like a full refund and replacement of the valve. That way I get it to work properly while I peruse other options.
