Review: I purchased the "DMH "Low Profile" Electric Cutouts (Pair)" on Tuesday 16 April, 2013 from [redacted] order [redacted]. The product was advertised by both the manufacturer's website ([redacted]) and [redacted] to carry a "4 year replacement warranty!"

[redacted] also states that, "All warranties on DMH cutouts are handled directly through the manufacturer. Their contact info is that the link below: [redacted]/contactus.htm MarylandSpeed does not provide warranty replacements, parts, or service for this product"

On Wednesday 3/05/2014 one of my DMH cutouts quit working properly. The butterfly valve on the cutout would no longer fully open or close, causing a continous exhaust leak and an undesireable sound. That Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday, I attempted to call DMH performance at number ###-###-####, however the phone was not answered on any attempt. On Sunday 3/09/2014, at 11:49 AM CST, I contacted DMH Performance at "[redacted]" with a message stating "consisting of,

"Good morning, I purchased my DMH cutouts from [redacted] back around April of last year. Everything has worked perfectly with them until now. One of the cutouts will not open or close all the way even if I try to move the butterfly manually. The butterfly only has a small window of rotation. Do you have any suggestions of things I could try?"

On Monday 3/10/2014 at 10:03 AM CST, [redacted] from DMH Performance emailed me back stating,

"I would say it is a gearbox problem. Can you swap it if I send you one?"

I replied back to this email on Monday 3/10/2014 at 1:09 PM CST saying,

"Sure, that shouldn't be a problem."

I assumed that I would be receiving a replacement gearbox within several weeks, so I did not attempt to make any further contact with DMH Performance. After 1 months' time had passed and I had not received a replacement gearbox, I sent another email to "[redacted] The email was sent Monday 4/14/2014 at 7:58 PM CST and stated,

"Hey [redacted], I hadn't received the replacement gearbox from you yet, did I need to provide you with my address or anything?"

I received no response to this email. The following week, I attempted to call DMH Performance at ###-###-####, however, once again, the phone was not answered.

Obviously some time has passed since this communication, however, I still have not received a replacement gearbox and still have a faulty product that has not been covered under the manufacturer's warranty nearly 5 months after the issue was reported.Desired Settlement: I would prefer one of two outcomes, at the discretion of DMH Performance:

Outcome A: DMH Performance warranties the product that failed after 1 year with a complete replacement or a replacement gearbox.

Outcome B: DMH Performance provides me with a refund in the amount of $479.95 which includes the cost of the DMH "Low Profile" Electric Cutouts (Pair) and installation. Breakdown: DMH Cutouts - $399.95 Installation - $80.00. Receipts can be provided upon request.

Review: I ordered a set of low profile exhaust cutouts from this company just short of 4 years ago, with a warranty of 4 years. Well now my car is throwing check engine codes due to this product. The motor on one of the cutouts has burned out and I need to have it replaced. This issue has caused my car's inspection to be past due and now I cannot get that resolved until I replace this burnt out motor. Over the past month I have tried to make contact with the company via email and phone calls. About 3 weeks ago I finally contacted someone who took down my name address and phone number and said I would have the replacement parts I needed by the end of the week. Well it's now 3 weeks later. Since then I have attempted to recontact the company via email several times, and attempted to call almost everyday since. I have never received an email response, nor had any luck on the phone. When you call the company's number it either rings forever, or the voice mailbox states it is full, or I left a message on an answering machine once which also received no response. Last week I sent an email to the company one last time on wednesday stating that if I did not hear from them by friday I was going to the Revdex.com. Today is Monday and still no response.Desired Settlement: I would like the company to honor its 4 year warranty and to send me the replacement parts so that I can get my car legal again to drive.

Review: After speaking with [redacted] on the phone in early May, I was informed that I could return my defective product to him and it would be repaired under warrantyI shipped the package to him via [redacted] priority mail, and delivery confirmation shows that it was delivered to DMH Performance on 5/19/12.I have tried repeatedly to contact him via phone and email since that time, and have gotten no response, even to confirm that he has my partHis phone voicemail says "memory full", and he refuses to answer any emails.Desired Settlement: I want either:My part repaired and returned to me as agreed upon, orA new replacement part

Review: I returned a malfunctioning cutout to [redacted] as per his request and instructions 7/8weeks ago. Efforts to contact [redacted] either by phone or email have been exhausted extensively. I have received neither a reply or the cutout.Desired Settlement: At this point in time I will accept a new cutout as receiving a repair that May malfunction will only lead to more returns on my part and more aggravation. It would also be beneficial if I could receive this new merchandise in the next 2/3 days.

Per phone call: New item was delivered on June 12, 2014.

Review: I ordered a pair of DMH Performance low profile electric cut outs from www.bmcperformance.com (now known as http://www.speedlogixstore.com) back in July 2010. The product was installed properly and worked great. Because I was active duty [redacted] at the time I was stationed overseas and hardly drove my car, only once I returned home on leave. Once I got out of the [redacted] and began driving my car again I noticed that the cut outs would not close completely and create a bad leak. I sent a message to DMHPerformance.com regarding their 4 yr warranty on 12/28/11. I received a response the very same day 12/28/11 from them. [redacted] from DMH responded with a short email saying "Just box them up and send them back and we will fix them for you. Put your return address in the box." I had a lot of things going on (Purchased a house, moving-in, and my wedding) and finally sent them off as instructed 6/13/12. I tracked the item via the Tracking Number #[redacted] which showed the item being arriving June 15, 2012. On 6/30/12 I e-mailed DMH asking for an update, no response was received. I tried calling their posted business number with no such luck. Again, 7/9/12 an e-mail and a dozen calls were made with no response. I have now called every other day since 7/9/12 and sent another e-mail today 7/16/12. I have also contacted several businesses that distribute the DMH products and I was told that they have also received horrible complaints of service and contact issues about DMH. 30 Day's is inexcusable for a business to neglect responding to a costumerDesired Settlement: I'd like for DMH to honor their 4 year warranty and send me my replacement set of low pro electric cut outs or refund my purchase price of the items.

Review: I ordered exhaust cutouts from DMH Performance almost three months ago. When I ordered them over the phone, the guy said they would get sent out within a couple days. I still have not received them. I also have gotten no responses when I have tried to contact them by phone and email numerous times.Desired Settlement: I do not want the product. I want my money refunded.

Review: I purchased the DMH low profile cutouts from [redacted]com on May 9th 2012. I recevied the cutouts on I believe on June 15th or around that date. They were installed approximately 2 weeks later. They worked flawlessly until July 28th when one of the motors just fell off of the cut out. I was able to retreive the motor but it was not repairable. I emailed them on the 28th and realizing that it was a Saturday not expecting any response until the after the weekend. I then emailed them again on Aug 1st, 3rd, 7th, and the 10th. On Aug 8th the other cutout just quit working. I received 0 responses from them and when I try to call the phone number listed on the website it was first busy for several days and then lately it just rings and rings till it picks up and says memory is full and hangs up the phone. Thier website clearly states that they come with 4year parts warranty.Desired Settlement: I either want my cutouts replaced with new cutouts or I would like some type of a refund. I would pay the laor to get the cut outs replaced and re-installed or a refund to pay for some of the removal of the cut outs. I will also need a custom mid pipe made because my exhaust has 2 holes cut in them. I would prefer the replacement but they can choose.

Review: I sent in an electric cutout for repair under 4 year warranty with DMH it shipped to them on 12/22/2012 I called to check the status of the repair on 1/18/2013 and was told it would be looked at that day then fixed and shipped out the following week and an email would be sent indicating it was shipped. Since my conversation on 1/18 with them I have heard nothing, it is now 3/12/2013 I have sent multiple emails, left multiple messages on there answering machine with no response's. I understand repairs take time but it has been way longer then needed. I have bought many cutouts through DMH there products are great however there customer service and warranty services suck.Desired Settlement: I would like my cutout fixed and returned to me without further delay or a new unit shipped to me in its place asap.

Review: I bought an electric cutout which I installed on my truck. The cutout quit working and I made numerous attempts to call and see what to do in order to have it covered under the warranty. After many attempts I finally got through and was told to send the broken cutout back with my return address inside and it would be taken care of. I sent the item using USPS and never heard from DMH performance again nor did I receive my cutout back. I sent emails and made numerous phone calls. I did get through to DMH performance once and spoke to a gentlemen who told me to hold to look up my information and then he hung up. I tried calling back with no luck. I have left messages when their answering machine wasn't full, which is rare. It has been over a year since I have sent the item back for warranty issues.Desired Settlement: Receive a complete replacement or my money back.

Review: I had purchased a electronic cut out product for my car a few years ago and the switch to operate the product stopped working. I have call many Times with no answer and the company has no voicemail. I also emailed the company with no reply to my problem . So I then emailed the company saying I wanted to place a order, well then the company decided to reply. When I explained my issue to them they stopped contacting me. This has been a ongoing problem for about a year now.Desired Settlement: All I want from the company is a replacment switch and a apology

Review: I called DMH about a warranty issue, they told me to mail them the pieces that were broken. I sent the defective pieces of my cutout into DMH, they seemed very helpful and willing to help on the phone. Well, here I sit 4 1/2 weeks later(9/4/13) with nothing but an empty promise of "it's on it's way back you to today" (three weeks ago). I've called countless times over the last month and wrote emails a-plenty with zero response. I have been very nice and I try to be understanding, but I've had about enough.Desired Settlement: repair the items sent in and return them to me.

Review: Had one of my DHM perf low profile cutouts stop working, called in January to start the replacement process and was told to send them in....I did on Jan 25th send them US Mail with receipt for delivery. I have called over 20 times, Emailed 5-6 time with no reply either way! I need to get a resolution, as these are on my 98 Corvette! It also irks me to see that they are still selling their product on the corvetteforum! Their voicemail is always full, so you can leave a message!Desired Settlement: Replace or repair my set of low profile cutouts as I have already took the expense of modifying my aftermarket exhaust to accept their product!

Review: The company agreed to replace a defective item after weeks of attempted contact. I then sent the product in and I havent received a new product in return. I have called multiple times over 3-4 weeks, left messages, and emails with no response what so ever.Desired Settlement: I want to receive my new product with all the neccessary hardware. If my product cant be replaced I want a full refund for the product and all shipping.

Review: On January 25th, 2013 I contacted [redacted] at DMH regarding the warranty on my low profile electronic cutouts. They were rattling pretty bad and they were covered under a 4 yr warranty. [redacted] said to send them in and he would either repair them or send me a new set. On 02/02/13 I removed them from my car and sent them back to DMH and they were delivered to him on 02/04/13 at 1:26pm. I allow 6 weeks to pass and I hadn't heard anything back regarding my parts so I began calling with no response. Here are a list of dates that I attempted to contact DMH.3/12/13, 3/13/13, 3/14/13, 3/18/13, 3/19/13, 3/20/13, 3/22/13, 3/23/13, 3/25/13, 3/26/13, 3/27/13, 3/28/13, 3/29/13, 4/01/13, 4/02/13, 4/03/13, 4/04/13 & 4/05/13.It is rare but on occation an answering machine will answer and I have left a few messages but usually it rings for about a minute and asks you to enter a remote access code.Desired Settlement: I would like to get what is owed to me. Either send back my parts (repaired), new parts or refund my $400.

Review: Two years ago I ordered the low profile cutouts. First it took 2 months to be delivered and on top of that they failed within the first year. The metal melted and the cutouts rattled, so I decided to take advantage of the warranty. It took 4 months to get in contact with them after calling at least once a week and sending several emails to them . After calling from a restricted number they finally answered and told me to send in the cutouts and it would take no more then 2 weeks before I got them back. This car is my daily driver, so I had to drive around with open headers and get pulled over several times within the 2 months it took them to return them to me. On top of that it was a hassle because I kept needing to call to check up and remind them that I needed them. Everything was returned and installed properly 2 months later when 2 weeks was the promise time.

With this new set is where the current problem began. After a few months they stopped working, I put my car on a lift to examine the problem and I noticed a few things. 1) The motor on the left side fell out, while the cutout was still attached. 2)The wire also snapped when the motor fell out. After a few more weeks the right motor then fell out as well. Everything was installed properly by a professional. Now for the past year I have been trying to get in contact with them, many many phone calls with messages, many emails and never an answer or response. My cutouts ard now useless and on top of that they are starting to rattle again. Very annoying especially considering this is my daily driver. I loved them while they lasted.Desired Settlement: I would like them to honor their 4 year warranty and to be sent another set of low profile cutouts and wires (the whole kit). I would also like to have them shipped to me without having to take mine off and send them back while I wait.
