I would highly recommend Doan Solutions. Highly professional and they helped me with a thorough consultation on federal programs that I had no idea that I was eligible for.

Each year he calls me and makes sure that my consolidation is processed on time prior to it rolling over and was able to get me a $0.00 monthly payment for each year. I can't say enough of Doan Solutions. During COVID-19, I am in dire need of assistance with my student loans. My monthly $0.00 down payment is going to extend over the next 10 years which makes a huge difference for me as a mother of 2. Because of the services they offered, it literally was a life style changing event.

Doan Solutions stated that it would assist with resolving the matter of my student loan so that my State and Federal refunds would no be garnished. I
I contacted Doan Solutions in 2019 after my refunds were unexpectedly garnished to find a way to mediate the problem so that the garnishment would not continue. I was assured that if I paid the amount they charged, they would work with the US Dept of Education to work out a solution and prevent further garnishment. I paid over $1,000 in bi-weekly installments to fix the matter. I never heard from them again even though I reached out by email. One year has passed and my refunds are still being garnished and this has caused me severe financial distress because I needed both the money I invested to resolve the matter and the money from my refunds to fix my housing situation. I was scammed and this company should not be allowed to continue taking advantage of desperate people in their time of need.

Desired Outcome

I would like a full refund. The company did nothing that it claimed it would do, in fact they did nothing at all, and I need to have my money back.

Your federal student loans are currently in a Rehabilitation program for the past several months. After only a few more months, your loans would be out of default and your garnishment will be lifted. The time span is around 5-9 months, depending on the collection agency's policy and if you are compliant with your $5 monthly payments. If you filed your taxes prior to the Rehabiliation being completed and your garnishment has not been lifted, then your income tax returns are subject to garnishment also, similar to your salary. That is why we always advise not to file your taxes until your process is completed.

I was able to reach out to the *** department today and was told that they sent me information regarding documents (i.e copies of my bills) that they needed which I never received.they also stated that they would not be able to assist me further unless I removed the complaint from the Revdex.com and they were very hostile. furthermore, the response to the Revdex.com complaint states that I am enrolled in a rehab program that I had no idea I was enrolled in. there has been no communication with me about this enrollment. the most communication I had with this company came only after I filed my complaint. There is no way I would default on a payment plan that was only 5 dollars a month if it means that I would be saved from garnishment. I do not know what to do. I would also like to update my address for the record. I am currently at ***. I really need help in this matter. I feel that I am being taken advantage of. the money I paid and the communication with me regarding this matter has been awful and I need help.

Your address has been updated with the address that you have provided within our records.If you reference our Statement of Work a part of the client responsibilities state state you are responsible for submitting the adequate documentation in order to complete you application in a timely manner. Our systems indicate that all emails that were sent you were opened and read, however, not responded to and we never received the required documentation in order to expedite your application.

We are accredited with the Revdex.com and are fully aware that complaints are posted to our page and cannot be removed. Therefore, there was not a request to have your complaint removed since that is not a possibility. However, we are more than willing to try to work with you to have any issues resolved.

What is needed at this time is for you to reach out to our Processing department at ***@***.com or *** and submit the required paperwork and they can provide you with regular updates as needed. We were able to enroll you into a Rehabilitaiton program which is required for the removal of your garnishment. However, the Rehabilitation program requires a monthly payment of $5 as a good faith payment, that was defaulted on. Therefore the process needs to be duplicated at this time.

A large part of the process is to be able to provide prompt and accurate information during the process in order to expedite the Rehabilitation that you are currently in which will lead to your eventual removal of your garnishment.

This is a scam student loan repayment/ refinance service that just took my money and provided no service. Lost $200 before I caught on to the scam.
On 12/16/2019 I was contacted by *** at Doan Solutions (***) about rehabilitation of federal school loans. It seemed legit with paperwork and websites. They set up a payment plan for services of $200 for 3 months. I did not receive a follow-up email that was promised from them or the department of education. I have not received my money back, I froze my bank account, and had to start a new one. This is a scam and needs to be investigated. Her email is ***@*** and gave me a scam website of ***@***.com. This company was "apparently" based out of Florida, but all I know it that phone # I listed is the only truthful part of the whole scam.

I had no idea what to do with my loans. I spoke to the rep and they walked me through the entire process. Everything was explained well and the outcome was exactly what we discussed. I had my taxes taken for years. This year I can file my taxes with no offset! There was a fee to get it done, but honestly, nothing good ever comes for free. I am so glad I was able to connect with Doan Solutions to help me with my loans. When I initially looked online for help, there were tons of things to click on. I was able to connect with Doan Solutions directly and they took the time to go over ALL of my student loan issues and solve them.

Please do not ever call or use this service! It's a complete waste of time and completely fraudulent.

October 9th, 2019 - Signed the contract to continue with a consolidation loan (that you can do yourself through studentloans.gov/through your loan server).

October 11th, 2019 - Realized that this organization was not a part of the Department of Education services, and cancelled the consolidation and contract. Contract explicitly states that you have a "Right to Cancel: Client may cancel this agreement without any penalty or obligation within 3 days from the date this agreement is signed."

My email explicitly said: "I would like to cancel the current plan to consolidate the loan for [name] and am requesting a full refund on the initial installment and a cancellation on any future plans to charge the account."

November 4th, 2019 - Find out that they continued with the consolidation without our permission and against our wishes. I had to request a fraud packet and now have to go through the process of getting the loan reversed.

Incredibly unprofessional, fraudulent and a waste of time.

The client called in to cancel on 10/14/19 and a refund was immediately cancelled. Within the 5 days from 10/09/19 when they signed up and 10/14/19 when they requested to cancel, no action was done on their account. Only our initial welcome emails requesting formal documentation in order to submit the application was requested. No forms were sent to the US Department of Education by Doan Solutions on behalf of the client. Our Statement of Work, websites, contact information etc. represents us as a third party private company. We never portray ourselves to represent the US Department of Education in any medium. It would not have made any sense for us to continue working on an account that was cancelled and refunded.

Hello, Yes you are right I did call on Monday 10/14/19 to completely process the cancellation and there was a full refund which I do appreciate. I was stating the Friday 10/11/19 as the date I requested the cancellation through email as proof that I did request it in three days to the same email that we communicated with your company on 10/09/19. I used this information on that upcoming Monday as proof to complete the refund when I called. Due to the time difference, your offices were closed on Friday around 5:00/6:00 p.m. (PST) so that is why I had to confirm over the phone on Monday. The issue isn't the refund. I am happy with how that part was completed. I believe my frustration is over the part where the loan was in fact processed and consolidated. I guess what I'm trying to say is that I would have thought that since the agreement was cancelled that any work you did during those days would be your responsibility to follow up with and complete the cancellation. As that's what typically happens with an agreement that is no longer valid and one where you no longer get permission to use the information provided. This is frustrating as well because the information that was promised over the phone with the new plan was actually not true when we followed up with our previous loan server. I believe that you promised these rates because you didn't actually provide the new server with accurate information because according to this new loan, the loan holder is unemployed so there would technically be a lower rate. This could have been a mistake on your end, I'm not sure, but regardless, I don't think that it is unreasonable to think that you would be responsible for making sure that there is a complete cancellation. Hopefully, in the future you keep that in mind with your clients and try to provide accurate information so that they don't end up dealing with a situation that they shouldn't have to. I'm not looking for any assistance, I just wanted to voice my frustrations, so that maybe in the future this helps you improve your work and help your clients fully understand what is truly happening with help from a 3rd party server.

The company was very pleasant to work with. They signed me up to receive a lower monthly payment which was what I needed. I couldn't afford the standard payment plan that I was on. The process takes a few weeks, but they told me that from the get go. I had concerns from reading the reviews, but glad I signed up with them, no regrets at all.

Getting student loans was tone of my biggest regrets. After speaking to *** at Doan Solutions, everything changed. company is absolutely horrible! Got scammed out of $625.00. When it came time to renew they wanted to charge me another $180 which was never discussed on the initial call. My account manager never answered her phone . I spoke to *** who claimed she would recertify my app and that was the first and last time we spoke even with countless emails and phone calls. They even listened back to the calls so they knew I wasn't lying! To make matters worse, they sent false documentation over to fedloan services including my family size. How do you get 5 when I clearly told you 3? Do not waste your money on this bs. Call and fill out the application yourself!

Our service fee is for the initial consolidation. The signed Statement of Work does indicate that for the annual recertification we offer to recertify for $140.00. However, this is strictly optional and not required. You are able to recertify on your own.

I SPECIFICALLY asked was there a recertification fee before agreeing and the representative (***) told me no...assuming I'd get a call and be recertified over the phone as Great lakes would do...Either way,big mistake. Lots of broken agreements from this company. Would not recommend.

Student Loan Forgiveness Scam!
I was scammed into a Student Loan forgiveness program. Tried to get me to give them 800 dollars and only managed to get 150 from me. This is an unfair practice to prey on graduates trying to pay off their loans. I want my money back.

I had defaulted loans and Doan Solutions was able to help consolidate them and place them in good standing. Without their help, I may have been garnished, but they helped prevent that. They helped guide me through the process and I answered all of my questions to reassure me along the way.

Very sad that I somehow got in contact with this company. I have $5000 left in payment to my student loan. I was with ***. Doan Solutions LLC switched me to Fed Loans and they charged me $595.00 for on their part filling out a couple of paper and contacting Fed Loans. I just contacted Fed Loans and they told me that I could have signed up easily directly with them and that would have been for free. Now I am with Fed Loans and my interest rate is higher that I was with ***. I'm sorry that I didn't do a little be of research. I called and talked with Doan Solutions and let them know that I was dissatisfied and would no longer reqire thier services. I only hope that this will help someone else before they make the same mistake as I did. Oh well.
