Hello ***,

Attached, please find the Statement of Work that was agreed upon by yourself and Doan Solutions. The fee that is inclusive of the SOW and the required services that are outlined have been fulfilled.

You are currently on an income based repayment plan. Which means that your monthly payment fluctuates year over year, based off of your income. Therefore, your servicer requires you to submit an updated proof of income on an annual basis. It is very similar to filing your taxes, you do not pay the same amount of taxes every year, it is based on the amount of income and taxes that are made and paid throughout the year. We do offer an annual recertification as a service, however, this is strictly optional. You are more than welcome to recertify on your own directly with your servicer, there is no fee involved.

Customer Response • Feb 12, 2019

Well I was told by the dept of education that I could of done this myself. That I shouldn't of had to pay 800$ for it. Also, I was not told about more ffees for recertification so everytime you do it..I have to pay. What I was told was that I would be with your company for life and it was a one time fee. I am on an income driven repayment plan because I got on it myself. You guys didnt help me with it. After I was done paying the 800$. My loans were supposed to be forgiven. This was supposed to a student loan forgiveness. Why did I have to set up another income driven repayment loan with them. After I paid the 800...which I did for free, without paying anything. What did my 800 bucks get me? Nothing im back to square one. This was not what I was told. The 800 was supposed to be for the student loan forgiveness program.. But one of loans is in default and the other one I did my recertification by myself. This is such a scam

Doan Solutions Response • Feb 13, 2019

Hello ***,
Doan Solutions offers a service to facilitate the consolidation of your loans. In the example below regarding filing taxes, you have the option to file your taxes on your own or hire an accountant to assist with filing your taxes. If you were to go to court, you have the option to represent yourself or hire an attorney to represent you on your behalf.
Regarding recertification, it is an additional service and is not required. It seems as though you were able to recertify on your own.
Regarding the foregiveness plan, foregiveness does not automatically occur once you are enrolled into a federal plan. If you are a federal employee, then your loans are forgiven after 120 months. If you are not a federal employee, then your loans are forgiven after 240 months. Whatever remaining balance you have at the end of the period would be forgiven. The goal is to make minimum payments on monthly basis to have the maximum amount forgiven after that period of time. There are no federal programs that would allow one's loans to be forgiven immediately.
We can't speak on the status of your second IDR plan, since we were not involved with that process. However, you may want to look into the benefits of consolidating all of your loans together into a single plan and explore the benefits, instead of having multiple plans and paying bills to multiple servicers. If you would like to reach out to us directly, we would be able to help consolidate the loan that is in default with your existing loans in hopes of pulling that loan out of default and bringing it into good standing. We would be able to assist you with this free of charge. If consolidated, this would take place of your recertification for this year.

(The consumer indicated he/she ACCEPTED the response from the business.)
I see the company is trying to help me and resolve my issue, so I will accept the offer to help me free of charge

They stole my money and did absolutely nothing. They charged me $1000 to mess up my loan status.
They told me they would help consolidate my loan for $1000 and instead didn't even enroll me into any program. I wish I knew how to get my money back. I am a gov employee and they claimed to be able to get me into the public service loan forgiveness. Instead they took $1000 and when I called FedLoan they told me they did absolutely nothing. I wasn't even enrolled in the program. Thank god I called because I was able to enroll myself;f in the program. If I had not I would go on thinking that I was and never be able to have my crippling debt paid off.

Desired Outcome

I want my $1000 back. I am not rich, I had to struggle through graduate school. The person promised to have my $157,000 loan consolidated into $28,000 immediately. This never happened. They went into my fedloan account and messed up all of my info. I just want my $1000 back.

Customer Response • Jan 31, 2019

The company this morning just tried to submit a document to the Fedloan with my signature on it with false information. It has the wrong contact information and is providing false information to a loan holder and federal agency. The have obviously seen my complaint and thought that continually using my information would stop me from filing more complaints. They are still using my personal information to make false statements and misrepresent my financial interests to the holder of my student loans and the government itself.

Doan Solutions Response • Feb 01, 2019

Hello ***,
You had originally signed up with Doan Solutions on 03/01/18. The purpose of our Statement of Work (attached) was to consolidate your loans into a Revised Pay As You Earn (REPAYE) plan for $151 a month for 120 months. Since you are a public employee, you qualified for Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF) after 120 months. Attached are the screenshots of your application that was submitted. You can also confirm this on your end by noticing a difference in monthly payments for the past several months of the lower $151 monthly payment versus what you had been paying to your servicer before. This concluded the scope of our Statement of Work that was discussed and agreed upon. If you maintain your status, you would be paying $151 a month for a total of 120 months, which equals $18,120. After 120 months, the remaining balance, regardless of the amount of the original $157,000 will be foregiven.
Can you confirm that you have been receiving a lower monthly payment since your consolidation was completed in 04/18? It may have taken 1 or 2 statements for the updated payment to take effect.
You had mentioned that Doan Solutions had tried to submit a document to Fedloans on your behalf. I can guarantee you that no one from Doan Solutions has accessed your account since the account was completed in 04/18. We do offer assistance with annual recertifications, however, this had not been discussed with you and have not signed any documentation to request for assistance, therefore, no action had been taken on our part on your account. We do not have access to your Fedloans account, therefore could not have possibly submitted any documentation on your behalf. The only information that we have on file is the original information that you provided when we filed your original REPAYE consolidation.
Please look further into who may have submitted an application on your behalf and what the purpose of the application was for. I would recommend contacting Fedloan and requesting on behalf of who had submitting documentation on behalf of you.

Customer Response • Feb 01, 2019

I had no payment which your company was aware of from the start. I HAD A ZERO PAYAMENT because I was already in the income driven repayment plan. Your contact WHO I spoke with misinformed me on what your company does and how they would do it. So no, my payment did not go down, it remained the same. You did nothing. I was told you would get me enrolled in the Public service employee forgiveness act. You did not. Someone just submitted a re-certification and it was done on the SAME day that your company emailed me about the matter. That was clearly your company because you used the same information that your company has that is INCORRECT. I am contacting the federal trade commission today as FEDLOAN has advised me to do. I thought maybe your company would like to do something good and return the money you took. Thank you for trying to lie but no one else has access to the documents or information that was just sent in on 1-31-19. That can be traced right back to your company and the incorrect information you have on file. No other person has my address and phone number as what you have listed. I do not live there or have the same hone number. You do not need access to my fedloan account to submit a document to them. That is common sense. You no longer have access to either account as of yesterday after the re-certification was sent to fedloan. You sent it through the studenloan.gov account that YOU did have access to until after I was told you had sent the re-certification without talking to me or having any updated or corrected information. That is a huge violation of my rights and you have submitted false information on my behalf and signed my name on it. You have one more chance. Return the money or I will call the federal trade commission today.

Doan Solutions Response • Feb 01, 2019

Hello ***,

Prior to having your loans consolidated, you had multiple loans from different lenders. You had a total of 10 different loans which are listed on page 8 of the Statement of Work. After the consolidation, your loans are now with 1 servicer, FedLoans. Whereas you may have received multiple statements, now you receive 1 monthly statement for all of your loans from FedLoans. You were enrolled into the REPAYE plan, which qualifies you for PSLF. You are currently enrolled into the PSLF program.
I can guarantee you that no one from our company has accessed your account and submitted an annual recertification on your behalf on 01/31/19. We would never access anyone's account without them providing written approval. It would not make any sense for us to have this submitted on your behalf. Recertification requires you to provide proof of income in order to remain on your current REPAYE plan which you would need to provide. If the information in Studentloan.gov is not current, then whomever accessed the account may have clicked on the option to recertify and the current information was sent to Fedloans. However, that was not done by our company.
If you review our website, we offer a 100% money back guarantee. However, this was not requested until now. You had previous paid via ACH payment, therefore we would need your current address in order to issue a refund of $995.00 via check. Was there a reason why you waited over 10 months to request a refund?

I was extremely pleased with Doan Solutions. They consolidated my loan, came up with an affordable way for me to pay my debt and managed by situation extremely after explaining my options.

My wife recommended them to me. After checking with the Revdex.com I decided to give them a try. I am so glad I did.

Much deserved approbation for this company and especially their stellar student loan consolidation specialist, ***. Highly recommend working with *** for your student loan consolidation, as she'll guide you through each step of this process to make it seamless, and stress free. She is also prompt in returning your calls and emails. I'm truly indebted to her and Doan Solutions for their help with this process. Please give Doan Solutions a call, and ask for ***.

This Company was so easy to work with and ***'s customer service is top notch ...even after her Company's work is done she still answered my questions within a few hours...I would recommend this Company to anyone needing to consolidate their student loans.

Company said they worked with fed loan people to forgive my federal student loans. thay got my fsa password to look up my loans thts against the law.
08/20/18. Sales representative. ***. She stated that they wwanted to take over my federal students loans that are amounted at 18,406.00. Said they would all be forgiven if I paid a fee of 800 something dollars. She got my fsa password to look up all my loans. I didnt realize at the time that she could get any and all of my info from that site. she also could change anything that she wanted to to benefit he company. I never agreed to allowing them to taking over my loand. she also told me not to cvall*** and let them know that I had spoken to another loan consolidation company and said that*** never tells the whole truth cause they want me to hafta pay back the final amount eventually. also deansolutions said they would lie to keep me to stay with them. these people need to be checked to make sure they have not stolen my identity and changed anything on my loans at my bank w my retiremeny or credit agencies perion. I also hope this could not happen to other people in the future because they lie to get whatever they want. n its again the law to act on behalf of another person to change personal income or any info valued to the person. permission about these chnges are to br asked if these changes can be changed before they asre. otherwise it is identity theft.

Desired Outcome

for them to not take over my loans at all underany circumstances.they were not allowed to access my fsa by law because they are not me. I also never signed or aggreed to have my loand transferred over to then. I also need and want them to know they are not to use any of my information for personal income info to make any personal gain for themselves in any way. that is my info and they cannot use it in any shape or form. this is considered identity theft and should be procecuted by law.

Ms. had reached out to us and we provided the following response below to her.

"Hello Ms.,

I apologize for any confusion that may have been had between yourself and our account manager, ***. At Doan Solutions, our goal is to present you with all of your possible options based off of your current loan situation. From reviewing your conversation with ***, you qualified for a repayment plan of $0.00 per month. If *** is offering you the same plan, than I would agree with you, staying with *** would be your best option.

We would never act upon your loans without having your signed written consent. No action has been taken on our part with regards to any aspect of your loans At your request, I have deleted all of your information that you provided from our database. As you can see from our Revdex.com page, we have a certified A rating with the Revdex.com and have been able to help thousands of individuals in similar situations as yourself who have sought assistance with their student loans.

If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to give us a call and request to speak to a manager for assistance."

If a client chooses to hire our services, we do assist with the facilitation of their federal student loans with the Department of Education through FedLoans Servicing.
However, we are a private company and never portray ourselves as FedLoans Servicing or the Department of Education. Our services do require a fee if the caller chooses to hire our services to assist with the facilitation of the consolidation, however, this was not agreed upon with ***, therefore we have not acted on her loans on her behalf in any way.
*** is her current servicer and we would never tell a caller to not contact someone else, especially her current servicer. It was stated that if she did wish to consolidate with the Department of Education and receive the benefits of consolidation, that her new servicer wouuld be FedLoans Servicing.
If *** has loans at her bank, then they are private loans and not eligible for consolidation through the Department of Education. We did not receive any bank information from the caller.
When applications are submitted to the Department of Education, it is required to have supporting documentation. Therefore, we would never advise to provide false information because it cannot be substantiated.
At her request, we have deleted all of her personal information from our database, inclusive of her name and contact information. No action has been or will be taken on her loans on behalf of Doan Solutions.

It was such a wonderful experience managing my loans with Donna Scott. She was very patient and very polite with communicating the information. Two thumbs up, and one out ten she is a ten. I appreciate her representation with Doan Solutions. Grace and peace. Thank you.

I need to express to you what an outstanding employee you have in Mr. ***. I am a teacher in ***, *** and was linked to your company via my district. When I reached out I was beyond frustrated with Fedloan and really at my wits end. My first contact person was *** and she eased my mind. She then turned me over to *** and boy did he have his work cut out for him. The last thing Fedloan wanted was to be fair. Every road block *** hurdled. He took all the stress off of me. I just forwarded all Fedloan emails to him and he took care of it. We are aware we are going to have to go through this yearly because even after *** resolved my status they still sent me incorrect correspondence.

HAS BEEN WORKING WITH ME ON A STUDENT LOAN, SHE HAS BEEN EXCEPTIONALLY HELPFUL. SHE GOES THE EXTRA MILE, GOES OVER AND ABOVE, VERY COURTEOUS. SHE ALWAYS RETURNS CALLS, PROVIDES GREAT SERVICE, VERY PATIENT AND VERY PROFESSIONAL

I called and talked to a customer service representative about my student loans. She was very helpful and we worked out a plan that was great for me. Thanks.

The best news I've heard in a long time so professional and helpful. Thank you so very much.

I was currently about to go through wage garnish for my overly expensive loans but with Doan Solutions I was able to only pay $0.00 an they cut my loans from 15 to 1 loan. Helped me out a lot because I couldn't afford to pay what the loan people was telling me I had to pay with Doan Solutions they really helped an I deeply appreciate it I can't say thanks enough for everything they've helped me with.

Receive harassing phone calls 10-12 times a day saying I have student loan in which I do not. I have asked not to call again and the calls increase. This has gone on for over 4 months everyday. Some days I get 2 calls every five minutes. If they don't like the way a conversation starts they hang up and. All again immediately. Harrassment at its worst.

Desired Outcome

No contact or I will file complaint and suit with AG office.

Hello ***,

I would first like to assure you that it is not Doan Solutions who has been calling you multiple times over the course of several months. We are in the business of assisting people with student loans. In doing so, we purchase opt in leads from third party marketing sources. These leads are from people who have student loans, filled out a form online and requested assistance.

We recently signed up with *** (***) as a new lead source. This company is responsible for calling you directly, having one of their agents verify if you qualify for student loan assistance and then transfer you over to one of their lead buyers, which in this case happens to be Doan Solutions. Because of your complaint, we will no longer be doing business with ***. We only purchased a few calls to 'test' out their call quality and from your description, they do not meet the standards that we would expect from a lead source. We only received calls from them over a short 2 week span and I also reviewed our database to ensure that you were connected to our company only on one occasion. We would never hang up on someone who is in need of assistance, whether it be with their federal student loans or simply to be asked to be taken off of the call list.

We apologize for any inconvenience that this may have caused you and have passed along your concerns to ***.

Customer Response

Your data base is wrong. I was connected over 8 times to let doan solutions know that I do not have a student loan and to take me off your list. Before I could finish stating that I do not have a loan your company would hang up. I could care less what your business practices are, what I do care about is you contacting me or anyone associated with you, contacting me multiple times a day. Please take me off any of your list and stop the harassing calls

Doan Solutions Response

We do not perform any outbound calls, therefore would not be contacting anyone directly. People are only transferred to us if they are routed through the third party marketing firm.

We had passed your information along to the marketing company to request to have you removed. We are no longer receiving calls from that particular marketing company, therefore, if you happen to be contacted you can be assured that it is not Doan Solutions. We had also previously removed your record from our database therefore it would be impossible for you to hear from Doan Solutions in the future.

Again, I apologize for any inconvenience you may have experienced, but rest assured, if you are contacted, or have been contacted again, it is not from Doan Solutions.

Customer Response

(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
Because they hire the third party for their benefit and should take responsibility for their sub contractors. If I do not receive anymore calls I will accept.

Doan Solutions Response

The request was made that they will not receive any more harassing phone calls.

It was confirmed twice that we have deleted all contact information from our database in relationship to their personal information therefore they cannot be contacted by us in the future.
We also informed the lead source to that this phone number requested to be placed on the do not call list.

I'm uncertain as to what more is requested at this time.

It was like a prayer had been answered. I did not know how I was going to pay the student loans that hung over me. A friend referred me to Doan and I thank her everyday. ***, my representative, handled my case from the beginning guiding me through all aspects of the consolidation process with exceptional professionalism, caring and humor until the very end. Even willing to take time from personal plans on a Saturday to answer my questions. Both Doan and *** receive a 5 star review!! Highly recommended!!

I spoke with *** form Doan Solutions who stated that they would negotiate a payment program on my behalf with the federal student loan department. They assessed a fee for this and stated I would not be able to do on my own and my loan would be forgiven. They asked for documentation that was not needed. I actually negotiated my on paymet plan with the agency as of October 10, 2017. The agency I negotiated my payment with stated they do work with 3rd parties. I asked to have my funds rrefunded form the company *** the supervisor refused to refund my money when there company did nothing. She stated they sent paperwork to them. So I payed $350 to have someone fax documents I could have faxed myself.

Desired Outcome

A refund of the $350 I paid.

Doan Solutions Response

Hello ***,

I was able to discuss with our processing department and was able to get a little bit more background information.

When working with the collections company, we were able to negotiate the rehab monthly payment down to $16 in order to lift your garnishment case. We were requesting to have it lowered down to $5. At that point, the collections company mentioned that they would have to speak with you directly and our processing department provided them with your contact information. The collections agency then reached out to you and requested for you to resubmit additional paperwork and reprocessed your application for the lower $5 monthly rehab fee that is paid to them.

Please note that the collection company would not have reached out to you unless the process had been initiated by our processing department. Under no circumstances would we request unnecessary paperwork.

A total of $334.78 was paid to DS over 4 payments. A 100% refund has been issued. I apologize that I did not have the opportunity to speak with you directly or was made aware of your concerns earlier. We do offer a 100% money back guarantee for all cases in which we are not able to assist with directly, in which your case qualifies.

Doan Solution LLC is a great company. Everyone was super help and made the process very easy. I would refer them to anyone who wants to consolidate their student loans.

I am so very I contacted them. Finding a company to work with can be somewhat intimidating by they worked with me and made sure I understood the process. They were also readily available if I had any questions or concerns. I thank *** and is team for giving me the assistance I needed to get back on track.

I had a very good experience with this company. They exceeded my expectations and had very good customer service thanks so much *** your a rock star. Highly recommended
