Review: I purchased a Trial membership with this company. I called them to cancel the membership and was told that the membership had been cancelled and that my credit card would be credited for the full payment amount of $121.85. Instead they took the payment. So I called to talk to a [redacted] or [redacted] and was told yesterday that a [redacted] by the name of [redacted] would be calling me back. This [redacted] never called. I called my credit card company and was told that instead of crediting my credit card, this company took a $121.85 payment from me. The company told me that the payment would be returned to me on the [redacted] of March and I still have not received my refund. Please help me recover that $121.85 payment; I really need it. Thank you for your time and attention in this regard.Sincerely,[redacted]Desired Settlement: I just need this company to refund me my payment of $121.85.

Review: The dollardiaperclub had an advertisement on the web about a free supply sample of baby diapers, wipes and a lotion requiring a small fee for shipping cost. I received the free sample package of a few sample items and tried them out for my two year old grand-daughter. I found that their products were not of good quality and was not worth ordering anything else from them. Then A few weeks later they debited my checking account for a total of $127.00 using the bank information that I had supplied for shipping cost of the free samples. I immediately called the company the same day to inquire as to what these charges were for and to further let them know that I did not authorize them to debit my account and I never agreed to become a member of their club. They told me that they automatically placed me as a member after the free samples were sent and the fees included a monthly membership fee and cost of a months supplies of baby diapers and products. That the shipment was on the way via [redacted] and thus could not be cancelled until I received and returned it back to them unopened. When the package arrived to my home, I immediately sent it back with [redacted] unopened as they instructed. I called them a week later because they had not credited my checking account for the items returned. I confirmed with their staff on the phone that the package I returned was received and that I should expect a refund of $127.00 in 7 business days by 1/**/15. So I waited and called again the 9th business day to find out I did not receive credit/refund because the staff that processed the return/cancellation order forgot to do it. I was given an apology and another 7 days to wait for refund to my account. On the 8th business day when I still did not get a refund, I called and emailed the company again only to be told that the money was already credited to my checking account at [redacted] and that I should contact my bank to find out why they did not put the money in my account. I was even asked to take a screen shot of my checking account activities and send it in an attachment to their supervisor [redacted] at [redacted]. I asked the staff what was a screen shot? As I was not familiar with that phrase, so she told me I should ask someone to show me how to do it because nothing further was going to be done until I did that. I thought that was an invasion of my privacy and it did not make sense to me so I didn't do it. I continued to call to speak to a supervisor or the manager and was told I could only communicate with him via the email. I send an email via the dollardiaperclub support site explaining my concerns and grievance about the lack of appropriate response to my request for a refund. I felt like I was being scammed and given the runaround for weeks now. On 2/*/15 I received an email from the website support telling me that they were once again sorry for the delay; and that the refund was never sent to my bank because processed due to their processor malfunctioned. But no one from that company thought of communicating that to me until I called them again! On 2/*/15 they offered to send the refund by check in the mail that would take 14 more days to receive or they could send to a [redacted] account if I had one. I told the person on the phone as well as communicated via email that I was very tired of this long wait for my refund and that I preferred to have them send the money to my [redacted] account. I also provided the necessary information so they would not have any difficulty accessing [redacted]. Today 2/**/15 6 business days later I didn't see the $127 in [redacted] from the dollardiaperclub (usually it takes 3-5 business days). So I called them again as well as sent an email to the manager, the support website email only to be told "sorry but the staff who handled the matter on 2/*/15 forgot or did not process the refund to your [redacted] account. We apologize, but you will have to wait a week and it will be processed today." When I asked to speak to a manager or supervisor I was told to send an email to the manager [redacted]. I have never! Been more frustrated in my life with a business! They clearly are not adhering to their own policies on returns and refunds; they have poor customer service/practices and trying to steal my money ! I really don't think they intend to give me that refund they owe me. How can your staff forget to process a refund so many times and nothing is done to resolve the problem. Why does the consumer have to keep calling and badgering them for a timely refund? And it is legal for them to ask for a screen shot of my bank account? When they clearly didn't even process the refund to my bank. Please help as I don't know what else to do. I recently was laid off from my job as a [redacted] (unemployed) and I need my money back now!Desired Settlement: I want my money back, the entire $127 for the merchandise I returned to the company weeks ago! I also want an apology from the manager for all the emotional and economical hardship I endured; all the wasted phone calls/time in an attempt to get them to give me back my money. They need to improve their responsiveness and concern for their customer complaints. Their staff are frequently forgetting to follow through on their responsibilities and management lets them without any action? Terrible business practices and I will never do business with them again!

Review: My account was billed without authorization. I had no idea who Dollar Diaper Club was until this happened. I also have no use for any of their products. I called to have this resolved and the customer service Rep was rude and unhelpful. She did tell me that I could email someone higher up than her, but couldn't talk to them. This is the worst company I have ever had to deal with. If I do ever need diapers or wipes again, I will not be giving them my business. HORRIBLE experience.Desired Settlement: I just want my $121.85 back.

Response:

Hi [redacted],

Thanks for taking the time to talk to me on the phone. As I mention the website doesn’t work for responding the complaints.

We are a monthly subscription business that specializes in delivering organic baby diapers, wipes and skincare products to our members’ doors each month. The first trial bundle cost $5.95 for shipping and handling so that the member can try the product. If a member does not want the monthly bundle (contains 1 month worth of diapers, wipes and baby products for $121.85), they must cancel by calling us or by emailing us within 5 days after receiving the samples. This was clearly stated in our signup process and our confirmation email and signup process.

This member signed up and received her trial bundle. She did not cancel and we charged her for the monthly bundle. We have a satisfaction guarantee policy where we would send our members the shipping label to have their bundle returned to us free of charge. Upon return, we will issue a refund. The member called us to cancel the account and to get a refund. We cancelled her account and we agreed to refund her once we get the product back.

We refunded the customer when the product was sent back on February [redacted]. I spoke with the customer yesterday on the phone and I forwarded her the refund receipt attached in this email.

Please let me know if there anything else we can provide to help.

PLEASE SEE ATTACHED.

Review: I signed up to recv a sample pack from DDC and with in a couple of weeks my bank acct was devoted 121.85. I did not authorize that a,punt of money to removed from my acct. when I called to speak with someone regarding the issue I was on hold for no less than 30 minutes, I called 3 times. I sent emails requesting a call or a response (4 total) a no one ever reached out to me to assist with the issue. After all attempts on the fourth call I waited it out, I finally got a representative that said there is small print that you have to read explaining to cancel in 7 days or you will be billed reoccurring debits. I feel they are sneaky with their advertising and the level of customer service they provide is -10 or worse. They avoid you if anything.Desired Settlement: I want my 121.85 back in my acct. what would really be Awesome would be if they had to cover the checks that bounced due to this (sly) deduction from my acct.

Review: I cancelled this club on 2/*/15 and they sent another shipment on 3/*/15 and I didn't even except the package from [redacted] just sent it back and they had took out 121.85 from my bank account a couple days before, and when I called they stated they would refund my money since I had cancelled shipment and didn't except package ,and it has been over a month and my money has not been refunded back into my account. I have the cancellation notice and were the package wasn't excepted so if you can help me I would like to get my money back I have 2 babies that I'm taking care of and I really need my money.Thank you.Desired Settlement: Would like my 121.85 back for the returned merchandise .

Review: I replied to an email from this company offering samples of baby products for a charge of $5.95 postage and handling. In a few weeks I received a box of samples which I was happy with. Then in a few weeks to my surprise, I received a 25 lb. package of diapers and a charge of $121.95 had been taken from my account using my debit card number, which I had not approved. I quickly called this company at different times all afternoon and until noon the next day. They would not answer their telephone. I sent an email asking this Dollar Diaper club to remove my name and bank info from their records and not attempt to make any more unapproved charges to my account. I asked for a conformation of this request. I also went to their site and filled out the form to unsubscribe to this membership . They did not answer the email or mention the cancellation to the club..

(Since the package was shipped I did accept it. ) Soon another package was shipped to me. I refused this shipment. I have sent numerous emails, they will not acknowledge receipt of either email but did send an email asking why the shipment was returned. I have tried many times to reach them by phone, I can never speak to anyone.Desired Settlement: I want a conformation from this company that my name and banking info has been removed from their records and the charges for the returned shipment, returned to my banking account or a check for same sent to me .

Review: I ordered a "free" sample from this company. I paid $4.95 for shipping. About a week later, they debited my checking acct. for $121.85. I have no idea what this was for. I called them. They said I would have to send the product back before they credited my acct. After I expressed fraud and calling the Revdex.com, they said they would intercept the product and credit my acct within 5 business day. This charge overdrew my acct and my bank, [redacted], basically said, O well.Desired Settlement: 121.85

Review: On October [redacted] I called to cancel my membership it was taking to long to receive my sample and I didn't want to rely on that service. I was told the $5.95 for the shipping could not be refunded, which was fine. On November [redacted] my sample pack was sent out. I called on November [redacted] to make sure my membership was cancelled, I was told it had not been but she would cancel it to make sure I wasn't charged. On November [redacted] I was charged $121.85, I again called and was given a refund authorization and was told that I had to wait for the product to be shipped and return it with the shipping label. I never was sent the shipping label and had to call again on December [redacted] to get the label sent to me. I return the package which was received on December[redacted]. On January[redacted], I called to see where my refund was and they told me a check was being mailed out January[redacted]. I have yet to receive it, I called today February [redacted] and was told I had to email for a solution. I have email three times now, on

Feb[redacted], Feb [redacted] and Feb[redacted]. I have not received any reply. I called today Feb [redacted] and spoke with a supervisor who told me she could not help me with any refunds to resume emailing and check back in a week. This has been a frustrating 4 month experience and all I want is my refundDesired Settlement: Merchandise was already returned and accepted on December[redacted]. I want my refund of $121.85

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID#[redacted], and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:

This membership was cancelled 15 days BEFORE I received the trial pack. I was told I could cancel it but I would not receive the $5.95 shipping refund for the trial pack. I was then still sent the trial pack and charged for the monthly subscription. I was never given my refund and never received a check in the mail. When I spoke to a supervisor yesterday she could see no record on a refund check sent out. I would like the refund check mailed to be for the total of 121.85 immediately.

Review: after starting a free trial we cancelled the subscription on Nov ** 2015. December ** 2015 we recived a shipment of diapers from the dollar diaper club and a charge of $ 121.85. We ( my wife and I ) called the company and told them we had cancelled this account and wanted a refund. They told us to print off the return shipping info and we would get a refund as soon as the received the package. Jan ** we called to see why we hadn't got a refund back to our card and the advised us they never received the package, we found the tracking information and called them back and the package " just happen to be there ". the Rep. told us our refund could take up to 2 weeks. 2 weeks later I called and they said they could not charge back to a credit card and we could get a refund via [redacted] or a check. I have an active [redacted] account so we chose that, 2 weeks later I called back and this time there was a problem with the email address I gave, they read it back to me and it was correct and there's never been a problem with my [redacted] before so I told them to send me a check. The Rep. said it could take up to 2 weeks to get it. I'm on week 3 and still no refund. Ive made multiple attempts to get my refund and there's always an excuse. The account is under my wife's name [redacted] and her name is [redacted]Desired Settlement: I expect a refundto my credit card or [redacted] with no restocking fee and an explanation of why it took so long to get it.

Review: In January of this year I received an email from dollar diaper club. My great grandson was due to arrive in February.

I never received the trial bundle they offered, $5.95 was charged to my account.

No word from them until April *,2015 stating that my first shipment was shipped and they charged my account $41.90 and $85.90.

They stated that I was required to cancel my membership within 7 days after receiving my first order, which, as stated I never received.

This company has some serious ethical problems, not to mention poor customer service.Desired Settlement: Refund of all charges-$133.75- as well as my overdraft fees of 37.50 + $5.00 a day until their deposit is in my account

Review: I payed around $5 for shipping and handling for a "free sample". I did not read the fine print out reoccurring charges. A few weeks later my card was charged $140 and a giant box of diapers arrived. I called and cancelled the service and shipped the box of diapers back and requested a refund in October 2014. Two weeks later a box of lotions and soaps arrived and I was charged another $40. I again called and returned the second box and asked for a refund. The company has still not refunded my money and I have called at least 12-14 times.Desired Settlement: I would like to get my refund. Also, if possible, the company should not advertise a free sample without making it extremely clear that your credit card will be charged twice each month after that.

Review: I ordered a free trial from the company but realized after I completed my order that the free trial was only if after the 10 days you paid an additional amount. So I called to cancel my services within the cancellation period. That was on 1/**/15. I was told that I would receive my refund back to my bank account. I never received the funds. I called again around 2/*/15 to find out why I didn't receive a refund and was told to send an email to [redacted] and I sent that and didn't get a response. I called again and was told that the reason I never received my refund was due to a glitch in the system and they would send a paper check. I never received the check. Since then I've called twice to find out why and I've been told it was escalated to [redacted] and they don't know why the check hasn't been processed. I've asked if it there's someone else that can handle it but they keep saying no.Desired Settlement: I would like a refund of my funds and an actually apology from the company for having such a long delay.

We will verify if the check has been cashed, if not we will issue another one and cancel the old one.

I ordered the free trial on 1/**/15 and cancelled my service on 1/**/15 and never received a free trail product. When I cancelled the service I asked the rep would I receive the product or a refund and was told a refund. Which I never received. I have an email notification for canceling as well as confirmation numbers for two refunds that I was supposed to received but did not. No one has ever told me they sent out the product. I've always been told that I would get a refund first it was supposed to be deposited back into my account then I was told they were having issues with there system and it would have to be sent by check or [redacted] but I don't have a [redacted] account. I also spoke to someone on Wednesday 2/**/15 and they told me that the refund request was sent to the person who was responsible for cutting the checks but forsome reason it hadn't been cut yet.

Review: On the [redacted] of January I signed up for a free trial from the Dollar Diaper Club. I do not recall which day I received the products (would have been the [redacted] or [redacted] due to weekend and approx. 3 day shipping - attempted to log on to site to see shipping information and it directs me to send an email) but I decided I didn't like them. On the website FAQ pages it says that if cancelled within 7 days of receipt of product I wouldn't be charged for the next shipment. On the [redacted] of February I sent an email to the email address listed on the website's FAQ asking to cancel my account. I thought all was fine because I was not charged for February nor did I receive a shipment. I went to pay my credit card today, ** March, and saw that I was charged $121.85 from Dollar Diaper Club. I immediately called their customer service line where I was asked to be put on hold. I was on hold for 10 minutes before speaking with a woman I assume was in customer service. I explained my situation to her and she said there was an error cancelling my account and asked if I received a confirmation email (which I did not) and that because I did not receive said email my account was still active. I explained that if my account was still active I should have also been charged and received a package last month, but I did not! I informed her that I had sent an email to the address listed, that it was still in my sent mail, and that I could forward as proof. She said that was fine but the only way to be refunded would be to ship the package back and pay their required restocking fee of $19. When I tried to dispute the fee she repeated the same thing to me each time as if reading from a paper. I don't feel I should have to pay to ship and restock a product I obviously didn't want. I was given a cancellation number before I got off of the phone, so at least this time I know that as of today my account is no longer active!Desired Settlement: I would like my credit card refunded the $121.85. If I have to pay to ship back the products I would like that payed for as well as the restocking fee.

Review: I ordered a free trail from this company for my daughter-in-law, Carissa Tawney, so she could decide if she wanted to start this service. I canceled, but was charged over 120.00. I have called 5 times and emailed twice. I finally spoke with a [redacted] and explained that every time I called, I was promised a refund within 48 hours, which did not happen yesterday. The [redacted], said the refund was not processed and she would transfer me to a manager. When she did, the call was dropped. I am disabled and cannot buy my meds until this money is refunded.

I have dates and names of employees I spoke with if needed.Desired Settlement: I want the money refunded ASAP.

Thank you.

Review: Received sample in December 2014. A fews days later received shipment. Called dollardiaperclub to send back and cancel membership. Was charged 121.85. Should have been refunded but has not. Dollardiaperclub sent another shipment after I had cancelled and charged again 121.85 for a total of 243.70. It is now April *, 2015 and have not received refund. The second shipment was also sent back. After contacting dollardiaperclub numerous times I am told different stories each time. There website claims refunds will be made within 3 days. It has been 3 months. Please help and contact me if needed for further details.Desired Settlement: I want my refund of 243.70. I keep getting the run around from them. They are not being fair and honest and I have found similar circumstances with other customers.

Review: I ordered a trial bundle from Dollar Diaper Club. It included six items. I paid $6 for shipping of all these products. The trial needed to be canceled within 7 days of receipt of the samples or else I would become a member of the club and pay $36/ month. The issue started when I received only ONE sample, which technically started the 7 days of using the products before I ascertained if I wanted to be part of the club. I called them to see why the other products hadn't arrived at the same time, as the window for trial was small enough. They informed me that they were out of stock of the other products and couldn't tell me when they would be in. If they did come in in time, they would ship me what they had but also charge me another $6/ shipment. I believe this to be fraudulent as what I agreed to buy was shipping for the bundle to be delivered together so as I could start trial. When I outlined the issue to the representative she hung up on me twice and them gave me her [redacted]'s email to discuss with him. I had to cancel my trial as I didn't want to be charged for being a member. This cancellation meant I would not receive the rest of the products. I asked for a refund of the $6 because that was supposed to represent shipping for 6 items, not one. I would have never paid $6 for a small bottle of lotion. I would have just gone to [redacted]. I told them that I would be satisfied if they sent the other products and kept their $6 or refund my $6. They said they couldn't do either, which I said was fradulent as I paid for a bundle for $6, not one item. Please help!!!Desired Settlement: I would be happy with them refunding my $6 or shipping the rest of the sample products they initially had sold me. Thanks for your help!!!

Review: I had got the trail offer only for my niece, but money was taken out of my account, not just for one item but for 3 in the total amount of 133.75 which I did not o.k., and I did read the terms and conditions of the club it states that "When you receive your Discovery Kit, you begin a 5 days trial membership with Dollar Diaper Club. The date of receipt will be the date the kit is delivered, as determined by the tracking system of the shipping service used by Dollar Diaper Club. If you enjoy the products in your Discovery Kit and do not cancel your membership within 5 days, we will automatically ship you the Bundle which corresponds to your selected samples and charge your credit card accordingly. Your Bundle shipments will continue automatically, each month, as described below, until you cancel your membership.(this is from there website)" My niece never received anything after the trail kit but they took the money from my account for it look like 3 bundle, now when I called regarding this they stated that I should hear somethng within a week this was on the **of May 2014, now I called on **of May 2014 and the customer service person stated that she see this on the account but she would have to talk to someone in corporate to find out what is going on, and it would take about a week before she would call me back, well it was not a week it was 12 minute, and she stated that her manager said that I would have to get in contact with the post office and find out what happen the package before and mail it back to them before I can recieve my money back. How can I track something with out a tracking number which she did not give me or have for me. This company I feel is a scam.Desired Settlement: I would like to recieve my money back.

Response:

The customer has already been refunded on May[redacted].

We are a monthly subscription business that specialize in delivering baby diapers, wipes and skincare products to our members' doors each month. The first trial bundle cost $5.95 for shipping and handling so that the member can try the products. If a member does not want the monthly bundle (contains 1 month supply of diapers, wipes and baby products for $121.85), they must cancel by calling us or by emailing us within 5 days after receiving the trial bundle. This is clearly stated in our signup process.

This member signed up and received the trial bundle. The customer did not cancel and we sent them the monthly bundle. We have a satisfaction guarantee policy where we would send our members a shipping label to have their bundle returned to us free of charge. Upon return, we will issue a refund. This member contacted us to cancel the account but not for a refund. The member did not dispute the $5.95 charge for the free trial which means and admitted to willingly enrolled to our subscription but forgot to cancel. We got our package back therefore we refunded the member. We will contact the member on our end to resolve this as well and to make sure that there's no fraud.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me and the matter has been resolved.

Sincerely,

Review: On 9.**.2014 I ordered a trial of diapers from the dollar diaper club. Two weeks later they charged my account $85.90 for a case of diapers (I did not order that).

On 9.**.2014 I received an order of diapers that I did not order or authorize to be charged. When I called to speak with customer service, they said they could not refund my money until the order was returned. I tried to explain that I needed the money refunded immediately, as the charge was jeopardizing the integrity of my account. The representative was very scripted and not helpful at all. I asked to speak to someone else, that person was also not helpful. I explained to them the way they were doing business was not very good, as no one could help me via phone. They instead said I had to send an email to the support address.

When I checked emails they had sent me, I could not read them due to a transcription error. I tried to explain that as well, to no avail.Desired Settlement: I want my money refunded immediately.

Response:

The customer requested a refund and we advise her to send the package back. We sent her a paid return label so that she can return the package without having to pay for it. We are still waiting for the package to come back, that is why we didn't refund her yet.

As of now, we will refund the customer in good faith and contact her to return the package.

Sincerely,

I did receive the refund, after enduring another charge and calling the company again for the second refund. I mailed back the package on 10/**/2014, and received my refund on 10/**/2014.

The [redacted] of the company informed me the only reason I received the refund in a timely fashion was due to my report to the Revdex.com.....so Thank You Revdex.com for your assistance.

Sincerely,
