Walk - no, RUN from this firm if they ever attempt to solicit your business Less than five years ago, we had Erie come in and perform a complete remodeling of our kitchen The work involve the refacing of all of our cabinetry as well as the installation of new doors, hinges, drawers and the construction of a new center island with doors, shelves and sliding drawers We also had new countertops and a new sink installed, along with a full backsplash on the walls below the cabinets Erie stated that the entire job and everything involve within it was 100% warrantied against defects and damage for life What a crock of you know what!!! The "hard surface" countertops, which we were led to believe were far superior to granite, marble or quartz ended up being nothing more than your standard fiberboard covered in what I can only describe as "plastic" The only difference between these counters and standard Formica is the thickness of the applied covering They started showing scratches and wear within days of being installed and it wasn't from anything we did We have a full sized glass cutting board, so no knives ever touched these surfacesSimply placing grocery bags or boxes on this surface resulted in scratches The "indestructible" sink that they INSISTED on installing (replacing the stainless steel one we already had), has more chips in it than a Toll House cookie There is significant discolouration on one side of the two basins There are even two areas that somehow "melted" leaving ugly and undesirable divots to the surface We actually filed a claim with the Revdex.com on this however, Erie's response was a complete fabrication and the despite our rebuttal, the claim was closed Erie DID have the sink manufacturer send us a repair kit however, neither my husband or myself is skilled enough to attempt to do this repair ourselves and repeated calls to Erie since its receipt have been ignored Even with the repair, we still feel this sink was a far cry from the "indestructible" claim the Erie salespersons sold us The sink manufacturer suggested sanding and buffing the other damaged / discoloured areas I can only imagine what that might do to the once shiny / glossy surface area and if I were to venture a guess, this would leave the areas in even worse shape than they are already Over four and a half years later, we are STILL finding glue in and around nearly every cabinet which their employees neglected to wipe off / remove prior to it drying We have spent hours and tried a number of solutions to removing this excess glue and do not believe we will ever get all of it Last, but not least - after the work was finally completely, we were badgered and called by Erie for months asking if there was any other work we needed Calls came at all hours of the day and weekend and to both our home and cellular numbers We finally just stopped answering when they called For what we paid for this job (in excess of $25,000), we have been advised by other contractors they would have installed ALL NEW cabinets as well as our choice of marble, granite or quartz countertops We blame ourselves for not getting at least another estimate or two however, the Erie salespersons were very persuasive and unfortunately, we fell for their entire presentation Their work is mediocre, at best and their materials are cheap junk that we are now going to have to replace at our own additional expense in order to achieve the look and quality Erie blatantly misrepresented

Excellent product and excellent service Very pleased with our new roof Employees were polite and the entire process went quickly

Erie did a fantastic job on our replacement windows-energy star, triple pane with Krypton gasThe salesman, ***, was very professionalWe had unique needs because of our contemporary home and crazy windows, but [redacted] did a fantastic job at handling that***, the installer, is a true craftsmanHe does the work really well no matter what the issue is

We recently had a new metal roof installed by Erie Construction Midwest Everything went very well from the sales meetings and financing to the actual installation The installation crew kept the site clean, other than a few nails in the yard which is to be expected with any roofing jobs I would, and have, recommended Erie to others

Erie Construction was on target with all they promised Persons who did the work were professional, neat and courteous to us at all times They cleaned up everyday when they finished, and on the final day did a very thorough search for nails using a powerful magnet This company is highly recommended by us; [redacted] and [redacted] ***

Very impressed with how efficiently and thoroughly the installation crews did their job (including cleanup), and I appreciate their supervisor stopping by to chewhile he was in the areaWe had eleven windows replaced and new gutters and downspouts installed in no time at all

Had insulation put into my attic, a job I could have done but would have taken me a week or longer and they were in and out in half a day like no one had been working on the house The installers were friendly, worked hard and cleaned up afterwards like they were never there Sales guys were friendly and helpful Company stays I touch though the whole process and checks in after job is competed I would use them again in the future

I called many months ago to get a basic quoteThey insisted that both parties be presentSo if you are married, don't tell them, otherwise you'll both need to be present for their presentationIf you have kids and or don't work the same shift, that's problematicI eventually got a date worked outThe salesman called and said his current appointment was running over and he cancelledOKWell after a second appointment, the salesman never showed upLike I said, this was month's agoI called and the manager said it wasn't like that salesman etcSaid she was gonna see about scheduling an appointment where my wife didn't have to be thereNo calls, until todayThe salesman, not sure if the same one or not, called to check and see if we were still interestedLong story short, I asked that my name be removed from their databaseI don't have time to deal with a company that can't even give you a quote or hold appointments

Guys did a good job, love the resultsTook a little longer than expected but the finished siding was lovely
