Covington Credit reiterates its dispute of Ms [redacted] 's complaint including her rebuttal response Covington Credit advised Ms [redacted] in January that her payment of $was inadequate to payoff her account Covington Credit does not send monthly statements In July 2017, Covington Credit provided Ms [redacted] with the payoff amount of $calculated as of January 2017, the date her prior payment of $was posted Ms [redacted] failed to remit the payoff balance and the account was charged-off in January As a resolution to this dispute between the parties, Covington Credit is willing to accept the January payoff of $in full satisfaction of the debt and revise the credit reporting of this account to reflect it paid off as of January 31, If this offer is acceptable, Ms [redacted] may contact Jane R [redacted] at 864- [redacted] to obtain payment options Upon receipt of the final payoff amount, Covington Credit will submit a credit report update for the loan

I just wanted to note that it does not matter how much was owed I tried to pay and I tried to pay the Nither would go because it was the last payment You need to fix your system The late fee came because you would NOT take my payment and I was out of town You NEED to post on the website that final payment will not take online Had you done this I may of been able to make othe rarrangements and not got a late fee on my last paymentTHe people at my local office took care of the late fee which closed out my account They were very nice I am still not pleased with the Corparate office on this issue as something needs to be done in the grand scheme of thingsHowever my account is now closed in good standingI only reject your message as so I can add this information about your unfair buisness pratice of not informing the customer on payments online Regards, [redacted]

December 11, MsCindy R [redacted] Revdex.com of Upstate South Carolina NChurch Street Greenville, SC RE: Complaint filed by [redacted] dated November 10, Revdex.com Case Number: [redacted] Dear MsR***: Covington Credit is in receipt of the complaint regarding collection calls filed by [redacted] on November 10, and received by Covington on December 5, In researching Ms [redacted] ’s complaint, I spoke with the branch manager and reviewed the collection history on Ms [redacted] ’s account I did not have an opportunity to contact Ms [redacted] directly, but will attempt to contact her tomorrow Covington Credit did attempt to contact Ms [redacted] directly at her place of employmentCovington Credit did not have a direct extension for Ms [redacted] and calls were answered by unknown personnel Covington Credit policies authorize employees to call a customer at work, but prohibits employees from discussing account information with third parties Furthermore, if Covington knows or has reason to know that a customer is not permitted to receive calls at work then calls to a customer’s place of employment are prohibited On November 10, 2017, Ms [redacted] called Covington Credit and requested that we cease attempting to contact her at work Covington’s branch manager promptly notated Ms [redacted] ’s account to cease calls to her at work and no calls have been placed to Ms [redacted] ’s place of employment since November 10, Upon receipt of Ms [redacted] ’s Revdex.com complaint, her account was notated to cease all telephone communication While Covington Credit acknowledges attempting to contact Ms [redacted] at work, we deny that Covington disclosed any information regarding her account to Ms [redacted] ’s co-workers and immediately ceased calls upon Ms [redacted] ’s request Additionally, this matter was discussed with branch employees to ensure their understanding and adherence to Covington’s collection call policies and procedures Covington Credit values its relationships with customers and hope Ms [redacted] believes these steps adequately resolve this matter Sincerely, Connie K [redacted] Chief Compliance Officer

We have reviewed the complaint filed regarding our Covington Credit office in [redacted] , AL Please note that this complaint was filed on May 30, 2014, but we did not receive it until October 28, The complainant alleges that she made arrangements to make small payments on the account until it was paid in full However, the account was reported as a charge off on her credit report and the complainant wants the charge off removed In response, please note that it is Covington Credit’s policy to disclose in writing to customers that late payments may be reported to a credit bureau Covington Credit is also obligated to accurately report account information to the credit bureau No payments were made on the complainant’s account since April, and the account was charged off on September 26, 2013, at which time the account was months past due Therefore, the account was reported as a charge off Since the date of this complaint, the customer has paid the account in full I have reviewed the customer’s credit and it is properly reporting as a paid charge off account with a $balance This response should address all of the customer’s concerns Therefore we will consider this complaint file closed We appreciate the opportunity to respond [redacted] Director of Governmental Affairs and ComplianceSouthern Management

Quick Credit was contacted about MrT***'s bank's error in depositing his "live check" loan MrT [redacted] remitted the cash proceeds of the loan to Quick Credit and Quick Credit in turn rescinded the loan at not cost to MrT [redacted] including steps to prevent the loan from reporting to any credit reporting agencyFurthermore, Quick Credit has appropriately addressed the behavior that MrT [redacted] stated occurred with the Quick Credit employee

Miss [redacted] did settle her account for less than the full balance A letter was sent to her on March 20th, memorializing the details of the settlement A letter was sent to Miss [redacted] on the exact same day stating that Miss [redacted] was able to receive more funds at a later date or refer a friend At the top of the letter an incorrect balance was quoted of $ The balance was reflected in this letter inadvertently, as our system had not had time to properly update the account We regret any confusion this may have caused Miss [redacted] However, the account has been settled accordingly and no harm has been caused to the consumerPlease let me know if you have any questions or concernsWarm Regards, Tara T [redacted] General Counsel
