There has been no activity or attempts to contact this customer since October of when this account was charged off as a loss. Since the customer claims that he did not know of the debt and asked for proof of the debt and never received it, we have also deleted the account from his credit

We have reviewed the complaint filed regarding our *** *** office in *** *** *** The complainant alleges that there was a misunderstanding regarding how much money he would receive when he took out his loan with *** ***, the difference being $**.
In response,
please note that I have reviewed the charges and terms on the complainant’s loan and they are correct and the customer did receive the correct amount of cash. However, since it is *** ***’s goal to make sure our customers receive complete satisfaction we will honor the complainant’s request and make a one-time credit of $** to the complainant’s account.
We appreciate the complainant’s business and we believe this response should address the complainant’s concern and meet his desired resolution. Therefore, we will consider this complaint file closed. We appreciate the opportunity to respond

I have had two loans with this company and there is a written application on file which indicated that they were not to contact me at work They are still providing information On October 27th, I called them to obtain the information in order to make my payment online which I did Later that afternoon they were calling me asking about my payment I still have the voicemail in my phone to prove this There was apparently an issue with their aystwm so it didn't post until the next day. my number one issue is they were closed on the 27th of November and the fact that I had already spoke to the manager on November 21st advising when I would be paying off the account and she neglected to document the account Then on November 28th they called multiple times two different reapresentatoves witjin a matter of less than 'united and began calling references as if I was multiple days behind They didn't even allow minutes to pass to even give me the opportunity to call back before they called my husband Calling my phone at 10:34, my husband at 10:and then my job at 10:is absolutely unacceptable

Covington Credit has reviewed Ms*** inquiry regarding the refinancing of her loan. In preparing the response, Covington Credit reviewed Ms*** statement, her loan history for both the original loan and refinanced loan, spoken to branch employees, and reviewed Covington's refinance
policies and proceduresCovington Credit believes that the Branch employee who closed Ms*** refinanced loan fully explained the terms and the benefits and followed Covington Credit's refinance policies and procedures. Ms*** loan was days past due at the time of the refinance. The benefit Ms*** received by refinancing the loan was that instead of making the scheduled payment, she was able to make a smaller partial payment and extended her next due date by days from the original scheduled due date. Due to Ms*** statement that she did not understand the benefits or terms of the refinance, Covington Credit will credit Ms*** account with the difference between the acquisition fee on the refinanced loan and acquisition fee for the original loan

process; he has agreed to execute the necessary affidavit of fraud provided by [redacted] in order to process his fraud claim. In regards to the claim that a fraudulent application was accepted, that claim is denied. The contract in question is a live check, which does not involve a person coming into the branch to fill out an application. In regards to the claim the customer was not aware of the contract terms, this claim is denied, as the terms and conditions of agreement are attached to the offer. In addition, [redacted] Credit verified the customer's information on 1/24/17 and 2/1/17, wherein the customer acknowledged the terms and conditions of the live check agreement. We have reviewed the complaint regarding our Southern Finance office in [redacted], SC.  In the complaint the customer alleges that she has received poor customer service and claims that an employee shared her private information with a third party.  The complainant also believes that the poor...

service she has received is a result of her inability to pay her payments on time.
In response please note that the complainant’s account is currently due for August, 2015 through December, 2015 in the amount of $[redacted] and the customer does not deny being delinquent on her account.  Please note that I have also reviewed the account and reviewed the collection notes on the account and there is no indication that the complainant’s private account information was shared with an unauthorized third party.  In addition, Southern Finance has policies in place that prohibit sharing of customers' personal and account information with unauthorized third parties. 
I have personally contacted the complainant and we have been able to resolve this issue by making payment arrangements that are fair and suitable to all parties.  Therefore, we will consider this complaint file closed.

Quick Credit was contacted about Mr. T[redacted]'s  bank's error in depositing his "live check" loan.  Mr. T[redacted] remitted the cash proceeds of the loan to Quick Credit and Quick Credit in turn rescinded the loan at not cost to Mr. T[redacted] including steps to prevent the loan from reporting to...

any credit reporting agency. Furthermore, Quick Credit has appropriately addressed the behavior that Mr. T[redacted] stated occurred with the Quick Credit employee.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.I called the company and was informed that someone from their company would return my call and they would be able to have the inquiry removed off my credit since I did not apply for ANY loan with this company, in fact on a recorded call I informed the representative that I have never heard this company and there are a fraud alert on all 3 credit reports. The ONLY thing I have received from this company is were they obtained a copy of my trans union report and score. Again I was informed that I would receive a call back and never did. I am asking that this issue gets resolved asap due to this company NOT taking the proper steps to insure that there was no fraud taking place when the loan was applied for which I was informed that it was done online. I am currently in the process of purchasing a home and it shows a inquiry from this company that I have NO knowledge of.
