There is no way that the refrigerator was not blanketed and wrappedI asked them specifically when you called that day as I called you back and left you a messageMy wife even remembers me calling you several times as she asked me the next day "Hey, what did that customer want?" I called you back the same day you called which was the day of the moveI then spoke to my guys later that night and asked them if anything happened during the move that would have sparked you to call usThey said no that everything went as usualThey told me after I found out about the refrigerator from your complaint that they took it out of the old place blanketed and wrapped and that you had taken the handles off. They then went on to say that they took it off the truck and you were right there when they didIt was first off cause we always put refrigerators on last as people usually leave unbreakable cold items insidethey also told me that they did not put it in the spot where it would go but they left it in the middle o the kitchen because you had to put it back together and hook up the water line I thinkThe move took hours so there was no way they were just running out on you to avoid you finding anythingWe have the form that you signed as to there was no damagesI do not know what else you need as proofWe do not just go around breaking peoples items and then dismiss itI have run this company for nearly years and we have a good reputation in the valley. As far as working it out you have already filed an Attorney General complaint and we will go from thereI am sorry if you feel that this was not handled to your satisfaction but we take up for anything that we break and in a timely mannerThank you

We have NEVER received a return phone call from this business, I also sent several e-mails and no response to them either (copies attached) If he has phone records I would love to see them If they did call they did not leave a message and I do not automatically call back missed calls if I do not recognize the number The handles were NOT taken off the refrigerator and there were no blankets around it when they were moving it They were having troubles getting it out of the house and went to two different doors to try and get it out When we arrived at the new house it was NOT left outside they moved it into the kitchen and left it in the middle of the kitchen floor The refrigerator was NOT the first thing off the truck, the first things off were the kitchen table, dining room table and living room furniture. We were asked to sign the form BEFORE we were able to unpack our belongings The form was signed so the movers could leave and within - minutes after they left and we unwrapped the shrink wrap from the refrigerator is when we noticed the dings and the crease If I had known they had damaged my refrigerator I would NOT have paid them and definitely not tipped them.I will be happy to provide pictures of the damage I will be sending Donation Movers a 4th e-mail and I will attach photos I will also forward photos to the Revdex.com

I have tried to contact this person several times after his initial call and have the phone records to prove itI left messages on three attemptsI have never received a call back or an email with photosI spoke to the crew on the move that day and was assured that the usual procedure was used to move this refrigeratorIt was blanketed and shrunk wrapped all the way aroundI was also informed that the customer was the one who removed the door handles prior to us moving itThe customer states that after he unwrapped it he noticed dings an a crease in itThe crew that had moved the refrigerator also stated that the customer was there right next to them as they moved it out and in to the new houseThere was quite a big opening on both ends as well so there was no trouble getting it in or outWhen the refrigerator was unloaded at the new house they were instructed to leave it outside where it was going so that the customer would connect the water and put the handles back onI cannot imagine the customer not noticing these imperfections in a $refrigerator before they left since it was the first thing off and they still had an entire truck load to unloadIt all seems a little too far fetchedI really do not see how it could have happened in the truck since it was strapped to the wall that is carpeted and the item was blanketedThere was nothing leaning on it or even touching it from how it was loadedLike I sad I cannot see how this would have happened and not been brought to our attention beforeWe have the move sheet for which they signed off as to no damages and even tipped the crew

If that is what this customer want then that's fine with usThe fact of the damage is that the item was left in the hallway and it fell into the door without anyone in my employee being presentI wasn't there personally and I take the word of my employees very seriouslyWhere would you like the
check sent?

As to the television cord and the television that we supposedly brokeFirst off we have days to address all damage complaints as per the moving guidelines and regulations set forth from the DOTAs for the cord that is missing we would gladly replace it no questions askedAs for the television
that we supposedly broke in a factory box with all the factory safeguards in placeIt was a move from a one story to a one storyThe Television box was put per our protocol for televisions on the wheel well and strappedIt was carried by two guys out to the trailer at the pick up and then also carried with two guys out of the trailer at the drop offthere is no way that the damage on that television came from usEverything in our truck was strapped and nothing fell into itAs per the customer she says it looks like a dropIf you look at the damage on the box and see how long it was in our trailer and what it was in there with there is no way that the damage on that box and the damage to the television was caused by usWe have been in business going on years and have learned how to care for televisionsalways screen to the wall and always blanketedI will say it again that there is no way that we damaged that television like thatI am sorry because we are a reputable company and have high standards when it comes to peoples belongingsThe customer is also a repeat customer and we do not want to lose her business for future moves but once again she has to understand that there is no possible explanation of how we could of done that damageI do how ever want to say that since this has happened we have changed our protocol as to when we drop off now we have a signature block for before and after for checking televisions for cracks or scratchesThis will help us be pro active in not letting this happen again

To whom it may concern, First off I would like to say that there was one guy that rode the scooterI sent her a check for $for the dial to be fixedAs far as the tools, they were left in my truck
because the customer had not been there at the end of the moveWe dropped the rest of her belongings at her dads houseWe brought the tools back and they sat in our shop for a little over weeksThat was my fault because I did not have an inclination that they were thereNo one used them and they weren't damaged in anywaySecond off we do not and did not have or move her yoga ballWhy would we steal a yoga ballWe are not in the business of stealing thingsThird off the entertainment center was not damaged by us at allPlease have a look at the pictures of this "mahogany" entertainment centerIt was scratched all over from years of abuse from what it looks like to meMy guy neither have glue or a stapler to staple it togetherThis to me is just absurdOnly one person rode the scooter from the truck into the street and then into her drivewayI sent her the check for $for thatShe is blowing this out of proportion saying that she almost got into an accident with it because of my guyJust to let you know neither of the guys that she is complaining about works here anymoreMy guy did not ask if they were gonna get tipped eitherShe also said that someone forged her signature on the formThat is totally ridiculousWe do not do that eitherThe $check is what I sent and what she can haveOther than that I have nothing more to disputeThank you and have a great day

We have NEVER received a return phone call from this business, I also sent several e-mails and no response to them either (copies attached).  If he has phone records I would love to see them.  If they did call they did not leave a message and I do not automatically call back missed calls if I do not recognize the number.  The handles were NOT taken off the refrigerator and there were no blankets around it when they were moving it.  They were having troubles getting it out of the house and went to two different doors to try and get it out.  When we arrived at the new house it was NOT left outside they moved it into the kitchen and left it in the middle of the kitchen floor.  The refrigerator was NOT the first thing off the truck, the first things off were the kitchen table, dining room table and living room furniture. We were asked to sign the form BEFORE we were able to unpack our belongings.  The form was signed so the movers could leave and within 10 - 15 minutes after they left and we unwrapped the shrink wrap from the refrigerator is when we noticed the dings and the crease.  If I had known they had damaged my refrigerator I would NOT have paid them and definitely not tipped them.I will be happy to provide pictures of the damage.  I will be sending Donation Movers a 4th e-mail and I will attach photos.  I will also forward photos to the Revdex.com.

I have never received a call back or an email with photos. I spoke to the crew on the move that day and was assured that the usual procedure was used...

to move this refrigerator. It was blanketed and shrunk wrapped all the way around. I was also informed that the customer was the one who removed the door handles prior to us moving it. The customer states that after he unwrapped it he noticed 2 dings an a crease in it. The crew that had moved the refrigerator also stated that the customer was there right next to them as they moved it out and in to the new house. There was quite a big opening on both ends as well so there was no trouble getting it in or out. When the refrigerator was unloaded at the new house they were instructed to leave it outside where it was going so that the customer would connect the water and put the handles back on. I cannot imagine the customer not noticing these imperfections in a $3000.00 refrigerator before they left since it was the first thing off and they still had an entire truck load to unload. It all seems a little too far fetched. I really do not see how it could have happened in the truck since it was strapped to the wall that is carpeted and the item was blanketed. There was nothing leaning on it or even touching it from how it was loaded. Like I sad I cannot see how this would have happened and not been brought to our attention before. We have the move sheet for which they signed off as to no damages and even tipped the crew.

There is no way that the refrigerator was not blanketed and wrapped. I asked them specifically when you called that day as I called you back and left you a message. My wife even remembers me calling you several times as she asked me the next day "Hey, what did that customer want?" I called you back the same day you called which was the day of the move. They told me after I found out about the refrigerator from your complaint that they took it out of the old place blanketed and wrapped and that you had taken the handles off. They then went on to say that they took it off the truck and you were right there when they did. It was first off cause we always put refrigerators on last as people usually leave unbreakable cold items inside. they also told me that they did not put it in the spot where it would go but they left it in the middle o the kitchen because you had to put it back together and hook up the water line I think. The move took 5.5 hours so there was no way they were just running out on you to avoid you finding anything. We have the form that you signed as to there was no damages. I do not know what else you need as proof. We do not just go around breaking peoples items and then dismiss it. I have run this company for nearly 8 years and we have a good reputation in the valley. As far as working it out you have already filed an Attorney General complaint and we will go from there. I am sorry if you feel that this was not handled to your satisfaction but we take up for anything that we break and in a timely manner. Thank you.

To my knowledge, I vaguely remember [redacted] telling me that you called and that you would call back. We service over 2000 clients a year and get calls about missing items all the time. Over 95% of those people never call back again. I didn't avoid your call or ever get a voicemail about the missing...

top. I'm sorry if that happened that way but we did not mean for that to happen. If $100 will satisfy the customer then so be it. I'm ok with that. Thank you and have a great day.

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below. My complaint wasn't even addressed with the exception of the missing cord, which I obviously have since replaced on my own.  Business owner stated they had 90 days to respond to complaints.  My second to last voicemail was requesting their claims process and simply receiving a response.  The business owner chose to ignore me completely, which in of itself is poor customer service.  I know for a fact that all moving companies have a claims process, which I have still not have been provided. It's great that the business owner has put into place a solution so this issue does not happen in the future, however, it does not solve the problem I have of a giant broken tv in the box taking up room in my home.  The fact is, the owner can say they have protocols, but it doesn't mean they are followed.  I saw with my own eyes the ONE person carrying the tv into the home sideways.  He seemed to be new (as I was familiar with the two other guys).  This is also the same guy who took 35 minutes to take my bed apart and damaged the wall in that room, which I didn't notice until I went back to clean.  Again, I'm not requesting those damages, or any of the other damages caused in this move.  I'm not one to make complaints, as I am much quicker to post praise than complaints.  However, this is an expensive issue.  The business owner refuses to even acknowledge that it's POSSIBLE his employees damaged the TV because he has Protocols in place.  That's absurd, and again, poor customer service. No resolution was offered by the business owner, except to place blame on me, and replace a missing cord.  And also express that as a repeat customer he would hope not to lose me.  The broken tv isn't what cost me (or my clients) as customers, the poor customer service is.

Regards,

Obviously this has gone on long enough. I sent the $50 check which I have proof of. Secondly, she is right, I wasn't there so whats the point of asking my side if I wasn't there. I am the boss and anything that comes down from this is on me and me alone so do not discount what my answers are. We did not steal your yoga ball. We did not glue and staple that piece of furniture together. Yes Matt might have rode on your scooter and broke the dial but I sent you $50 for that. As far as you lawn tools, please tell me what do you think we did with them? Used them in my yard and my workers yards? You got them back in the same condition we received them in. I sure know that I didn't forge anything for anyone. I have all of her move sheets even from previous moves. So if anyone signed anything it wasn't me or my guys. Maybe it was her dad who signed and initialed it at the end of the move since it was his house that they went to drop off the remaining items. I'm not sure of that part but I'm sure of all the rest. I do not do business this way and there is no way that my guys stole anything.

Mr S[redacted], Saying "one guy rode the scooter," He was NOT present at the move & has no way to know what his “guys” did. My son & I witnessed what happened. Re: Check for $50- I have not received any money. When he offered $50 as a resolution in email; I replied "A $50 check does not come close to reimbursement for the damages done." Re: The "customer had not been there at the end of the move"- the last stop was my father's home & he WAS there. Re: Yoga ball, I said it was missing & want compensation for it. Re: Entertainment center- it was in great condition & Mr S[redacted] has NEVER seen this item to state "years of abuse!" I have witnesses to vouch for its condition. If an item had damage prior to the move it should be noted in the paperwork, it wasn't. His guys had access to glue/stapler as they had my toolbox. Employee, Jordan, said he KNEW who had damaged my couch f/ the 1st move, did NOT disclose during that move, proving his staff may NOT disclose damages. Jordan also told me a story of dropping/breaking another client’s china hutch. To say I am “blowing this out of proportion saying I almost got into an accident with it because of his guy" is offensive. HOW does Mr S[redacted] KNOW what happened as I rode w/ a broken dial? The lack of responsibility/unprofessionalism is clear. He says 2 of the 3 guys no longer work for him laying claim to problems warranting termination/resignation. Re:Jordan asking to be tipped, saying it didn’t happen -he was NOT there. My father, son & I all were present. My signatures/initials WERE forged & can prove by showing other items w/ my signature/initials. FORGERY IS ILLEGAL & not "ridiculous"! He didn’t acknowledge the damage to my couch that I provided a dozen photos. $50.00 compensation is NOT acceptable.

As to the television cord and the television that we supposedly broke. First off we have 90 days to address all damage complaints as per the moving guidelines and regulations set forth from the DOT. As for the cord that is missing we would gladly replace it no questions asked. As for the television...

that we supposedly broke in a factory box with all the factory safeguards in place. It was a move from a one story to a one story. The Television box was put per our protocol for televisions on the wheel well and strapped. It was carried by two guys out to the trailer at the pick up and then also carried with two guys out of the trailer at the drop off. there is no way that the damage on that television came from us. Everything in our truck was strapped and nothing fell into it. As per the customer she says it looks like a drop. If you look at the damage on the box and see how long it was in our trailer and what it was in there with there is no way that the damage on that box and the damage to the television was caused by us. We have been in business going on 6 years and have learned how to care for televisions. always screen to the wall and always blanketed. I will say it again that there is no way that we damaged that television like that. I am sorry because we are a reputable company and have high standards when it comes to peoples belongings. The customer is also a repeat customer and we do not want to lose her business for future moves but once again she has to understand that there is no possible explanation of how we could of done that damage. I do how ever want to say that since this has happened we have changed our protocol as to when we drop off now we have a signature block for before and after for checking televisions for cracks or scratches. This will help us be pro active in not letting this happen again.
