This company is the absolute worst! My A/C unit ended up having an issue with all of this heat these past few days. I called [redacted] and they sent out this company. I asked for [redacted] [redacted] but they said they did not work with them anymore (will get to that later). So I had the AC issue Friday, Saturday they showed up at my house and the issue that the the tech ([redacted]) that was the problem wasn't the issue. My HVAC was leaking water so it thought it was coming from the condenser pipe.
Mine is routed in a interesting manner due to my house but it works. He shorten the pipe, took the $75 dollars and rolled out. He told me that if I had any issues to call back. Well 2 hrs later the issue came back and when I called they said they would come out on Sunday. I had an important event to attend but they due to their lack of communication I never heard anything.
I called them back on Monday during the day time and [redacted] picked up and said that he would come to my house that evening to fix the issue from 2-4. Once again I didn't hear a [redacted] thing from them and at this point I am fed up. I had my wife leave work to come home for this. So after that I called [redacted] and they told me they still work with [redacted] and I had to reroute the ticket. I was able to to do that and they were able to take me the next day and the Lady HVAC tech took care of me and got my AC working again. She did a very worthy job.
All in all, DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH DONE RIGHT PLUMBING HEATING & AIR!!!!! I will be call [redacted] and telling them about this issue. Oh and done right new number is [redacted]

it took longer than he had first estimated. At that time the customer went to the home warranty company and another company came out and fixed the issue. The $100 was a deductible with the home warranty company not a service charge from the business.

The message from Done Right company, is completely false....first they did say that a part was to be ordered.  The complaint I had with this company was their work ethics.  They did order a part on Friday Jan 31, which they said should be in on Monday Feb 3rd, they requested the deposit of $75.00.  This cleared my bank three days later!  They called me on Monday Feb 3 and said they would be out to replace the part...they never showed up!  Tuesday came and went, Wednesday came and went...with not even a call to me saying they would not be there.  Through Tuesday and Wednesday, I kept calling leaving messages to find out what was going on?  Never received any response....they finally showed up on Thursday Feb 6th, and tried to replace the part...they had issues with the part, could not take old part off, so they relayed to my wife that they would need to take the unit back to the shop and work on it there.  They said that, they would be back in two hours....they never returned!  I called my insurance to file a complaint with them as well.   After this, [redacted] called me apologizing that they had other calls during our work request that they had to attend too!  So I said, you guys left our home  w/o finishing the job and went on other calls for two days w/o letting me know!  On Friday Feb 7th, they came out to replace the part and said it was fixed and left!  We turned on the furnace.....NO HEAT!  They did not even test the unit before making sure that it was fixed.  This is eight days now with tempuratures in the teens.  I called them back notifying them that the unit was still not working....they said that they could not make it back to check it out till Monday Feb 10th.  I called my insurance back to try and get another company out which they sent [redacted] Refrigeration in [redacted].  They came out, took a look at the unit and the part that Done Right ordered....IT WAS THE WRONG MOTOR!  We received the authorization from our insurance to get [redacted] Refrigeration Company to work on the furnace...they ordered the "correct" motor installed it on Monday Feb 10!  On Friday Feb 7th, I called Done Right notifying them to not bother to come back out, I did not want them back at my home.  We never received a call from Done Right for their pathetic work.  My family went 10 days w/o heat in our home, work that should have only taken at most three days!  I know nothing will be done to this company and they will continue to defraud home owners, but I needed to report this.  Who knows how many other home owners this company has worked their homes and not complain!  Done Right should be closed for incompetency........

did  call back and was advised that we did not received call back which he was very rude to operation center  I had call to his warranty and requested another company. Review: In March 2016, Done Right was referred from the home warranty company to diagnose an fix my HVAC unit. Done Right end up replacing my unit with a "brand new" unit. Fast forward to now, June 2016, I turned the AC on due to the beginning of 80 degree weather. The house would not cool down below 76 degrees. I called the warranty company to for service. The 2nd HVAC company came and discovered the disconnect box was just sitting on top of the unit and not fastened to the wall. He said the unit was not installed properly, the duct modification was not correct, the unit was loosing air from the duct and leaking refrigerant, the wiring to the high voltage of the unit was not secured. Now, I am left in battle with the warranty company trying to get approval to get air condition. I have asthma, diabetes and high blood pressure and my bedroom reaches 86 degrees everyday.Desired Settlement: Notify Done Right of this complaint and their poor service. I do not want anything else to do with them because this is already a nightmare issue with the warranty company to get resolved. They should refund my deductible of $85 because the job wasn't done right in the first place. I've had to pay another deductible to the 2nd company and buy two fans for my daughter's and my bedrooms.

Review: Done Right was contracted by our home warranty company to fix a problem with our heat. The service guy arrived on Thursday and diagnosed the problem. At this time, I paid him the $100 deductible. I was told that they would order the part and let me know when they would be back to install it. In the afternoon, I called to check up on things and was told that he would pick up the part on Friday and would be by between 11 and 2 to fix it. By 2pm on Friday, I had heard nothing from DoneRight. I called all of the numbers to his office - no response. I called the cell number I was given and left a message - no response. Around 5pm, I called the warranty company. They had not even received the diagnosis paperwork from DoneRight and thus had not authorized any repairs. They tried repeatedly to contact DoneRight, but received no response. On Saturday, we (and the warranty company) still had not heard anything, so they closed the work order with Done Right and we had another company come and complete the repair.Desired Settlement: I would like a refund of the $100 deductible since the repair was never completed.

The $100 still came out of my pocket and there was NO communication about the delays. That is why I went back to the warranty company. You did not even return their calls. And they said that you never even submitted the diagnosis to them.

Review: Done Right repeatedly made appointments for service only to not show up or call to give any type of notice. Customer service never returned calls. Finally when they did show up they installed the wrong water heater. Water heater then malfunctioned and Done Right gave a false account to lessen their responsibility. Almost a month later and they still have not fixed the issue.Desired Settlement: I would like Done Right to fix my water heater, be accountable for all damages that occurred as a result of their negligence. I would also like Done Right to upgrade their customer service performance.

Review: Company came out on 1/31/14 to check why our heat was not working. They told us that our fan blew out and they needed to order the part. They then returned on 2/4/14 to repair our heater. After approximately 30 min. They determined that they could not remove the original part so they were taking the whole unit back to their shop. They explained that they would return in two hours. They never returned. I called and left two messages, but they did not return my call. I then called them on 2/5/14 at approximately 8:30 a.m. and they told us that they would be there by the close of the day, but they never returned. We have been without heat for one week now. So disappointing!Desired Settlement: Restore our heat. I have two children and it is cold.

Review: Done Right first has an excessive delay in repairing anything requested. My house went 4 weeks with no AC due to their lack of trying to repair the issue, then when they finally came out to the house to repair the air conditioner they improperly installed a compressor and cut bolts so the compressor would not lock into place allowing for a whole tank of freon to be released into the atmosphere. The company does not return any phone calls in a timely manner and when they finally contact you back they are extremely rude and yell and scream at you and hang up on you for calling their business for 5 days in a row, which is necessary when it is 100 degrees outside and you have no A/C in your house. This comany should not be operating or have any licenses to operate business in any state.Desired Settlement: I do not request anything from this company due to they are to never contact me again or step foot on my property

Review: This company was hired through my home warranty company to fix out heater that initially stopped working in April 2014. The company came out and fixed it but it lasted only a few minutes . I called the company and technician back immediately and he claimed that a part had to be ordered (a motor). I was told they would return in a few days. I waited a week without hearing anything. After failed attempts to get in contact with company I called home warranty compZny back. They were able to reach someone and for the next month and a half I went back and forth with company over scheduled appts to install motor and them not showing up or calling with updates. If went from a heating issue to a AC issue over that period. I eventually convince home warranty to assign me another contractor and the problem seems uk be resolved. This company is a joke. All the complaints are similar in nature and ironically everyone has the same issue. Part needed, they are supposed to order, never follow up and disappear.

Review: [redacted]y dispatched this company to my house to service my heating and air conditioner unit. Done Right called and provided and appointment date and 3 hour window. However, they never responded and never called. I telephoned them and they said they would call me back with an update. Again, they never called back that day. They called the next day and said they were in the area. I asked about they lack of service the day before and they hung the phone up in my face. I called back 5 times and they just let the phone ring without answering.

I would like to also warn the public and Revdex.com that they may be using a Waldorf, Maryland business address and a new telephone number of [redacted] They play games with people and are totally unreliable and unprofessional.Desired Settlement: I would like the public to be warned about this company's poor service and unprofessional behaviors.

Review: Done Right Plumbing Heat and Air installed new [redacted] heat/air unit on 5/16/14. Cooling air worked fine. On 10/18/2014 turned on the heat and got cold air through all vents. on 10/21/14 called [redacted] and left message to call me. No call back. [redacted] came to my house next morning and told me a wire was loose and he said it was fixed. Tested unit and did have heat. Several hours later, I switched unit back to cooling to see if it was working, and then I got heat instead of air. I called [redacted] again about the problem. After several phone calls trying to reach him, I was told on 3 or 5 different times that someone would be out to fix problem. I have called and left messages. No one will return calls, and most of the time no one answers. I called everyday for a week and no one would answered. I finally used another phone and call was answered right away. Again I was told someone would be out. It has been a month now and still nothing has been done.Desired Settlement: I just want my heat pump fixed.

Review: I paid $320 for a service that was not performed. The company was hired by my warranty company for a heating issue(new condenser) and I paid for a separate service (moving my unit and connecting new condenser). They where hired 11/22/14. They lied and told my warranty company(first [redacted]) that the work was completed in November. I received the run around from [redacted], being given at least 10 dates from 11/22/14-1/7/15 that he would come and install my new condenser and move the unit. [redacted] finally came on 1/7/15 to disconnect the old unit and but never bought the new one and did not reconnect the old unit. He told the warranty company and myself that he would come 1/8,and then 1/9 after he no showed 1/8/15. He never showed up. He has ducked my texts messages and calls asking for a refund. My warranty company has hired a brand new contractor and is out of a condenser and i'm out of $320. My My heating cost is sky high due to my unit running solely on the heat pump. I am still losing money from this issue.Desired Settlement: I need a refund of my entire payment due to negligence.

Review: Done Right has "Done Everything Wrong"! Complete incompetence. They were sent out by the house warranty company to fix my A/C and since the compressor was out on a 20+ year old system I agreed to have them replace the entire unit and would pay the difference since the warranty company would only pay for the compressor. They paid $900+ and I paid $1200 for a new unit. First of all they cancelled the appointment because they lost unit that was supposed to be installed at my house. It was taken by another technician for a different job. I had to wait another week for another unit. When they installed the first new unit they did not stick around to see if it worked. It did not work correctly and they had to be called back out. A few days later they came out and discovered that the new compressor in the unit was burn up. They decided that that I needed a new compressor and would come back out in a few days. They then came out and replace that compressor the following week. Again, they did not stick around to ensure the system worked correctly. It didn't. They came back out and discovered that the compressor was burned up again. They then sent out the boss. He discovered that the compressor was incorrectly wired. They decided to try a new compressor for the third time. They did not stick around to ensure it was working correctly and within a hour it died. They decided to replace the entire unit again. A week later they came out and replaced the new unit with another new unit. They did not stick around to ensure the unit worked correctly. It died. They indicated that they would be out later that day and didn't make it out or even call us to let us know they would be unable to make it out. I made several calls that evening and the next morning to get them out. This issue has lasted for more than a month. I am very disgusted with the quality of worksmanship and attention to detail.Desired Settlement: I want a new functional A/C unit that will work for the entire season and a warranty to go with another company to service it beyond this season.

WARNING WARNING!! DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!! customer service is extremely terrible. It took 3 months for Done Right to service my HVAC. Everytime I scheduled an appointment, they were a "NO CALL" NO SHOW". I continued to call Done Right and my Warranty company. Each time Done Right representative ([redacted]), promised that they would be out the next day. Again, for 3 weeks straight "NO CALL "NO SHOW". I was out of AC all summer long, HOT , STUFFY, and SWEATY!! They finally showed up today 9/22 (the beginning of FALL SEASON), supposely did the repair, and then tried to slap my husband with a hefty bill (the warranty company explained to me that the repair was no charge because the part was still under warranty)..so why is "DONE RIGHT" tellin me to pay them?? They left my home to sit in their vehicle without testing the repair with us. When my husband went to the vehicle to asked the technian to come back inside my home to ensure that the work was complete, the tech refused to come in to confirm the work was done, then he gave my husband the bill and drove off. PLEASE TAKE THESE REVIEWS SERIOUSLY. If, you don't want to have a terrible HVAC/Heating repair experience, then PLEASE DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY.
