provider a credit for these shoes they also have a invoice and a confirmation on the order on these shoes but they were never received by my provider, my provider has called many times and was told many different excuses. This place is not a good place it is a very bad I think may some kind of crook not sure just what is going on but my provider has copies of all the info. that I have shared above.

Review: These, special order custom fit, shoes - style Ranger- fell apart after less than two months of wear (and that was not everyday wear). The soles on both shoes separated from their very thin leather uppers. One shoe has separated from the sole about an inch and a half from the toe back. The second shoe is much worse it has separated from the sole beginning at the toe and ending almost half way down the shoe flapping in the wind. I most definitely would never recommend these particular shoes to anyone. Apart from the obvious shoddy workmanship in the shoe being put together the soles are so thin that they actually hurt the bottom of your feet after you have had them on for around an hour. Diabetic shoes are supposed to be more comfortable and aid your health. These have done nothing more than given me even more sore feet and left me with a severe headache wondering how I am going to be able to buy more diabetic shoes on my extremely limited income. Not to mention the huge hole that they are going to leave in my practically non existent bank account.Desired Settlement: Refund of my $60.00 co-pay for the fitting of these utterly useless shoes and replacement (requires a new fitting hence another co-pay) from another company that is more reputable than Dr. Comfort. I need a new prescription which also involves a co-pay of $15 to my doctor for a new prescription for another pair of diabetic shoes. Then I want a refund to go to Advanced Diabetic Solutions (who are a Medicare provider) and I want a new pair of diabetic shoes which I will again get through Medicare if they have been reimbursed for the defective pair. I cannot wait long as I now have no winter shoes to wear either diabetic or other wise. The shoes were ordered through Advanced Diabetic Solutions and the rep who came out to fit me has since left the company.

In summary I want to be reimbursed for my two co-pays totaling $75.00 and I want Dr. Comfort to reimburse Advanced Diabetic Solutions for the cost of the shoes and if they would like them returned to them I need a prepaid shipping label, box or bag and taxi fares/vouchers to my closest Post Office which is approximately fifteen miles each way. Then I want a new pair of fitted diabetic shoes through Advanced Diabetic Solutions from a company other than Dr. Comfort. I will also need taxi fare to and from my doctors office (in addition to the aforementioned $15 co-pay) so that I can get a new prescription for the new diabetic shoes - his office is approximately fourteen miles each way from my house. Gas mileage will not suffice as neither my spouse nor I drive due to being disabled.

We are the manufacterer of the shoes and we will stand behind our products. We are willing to replace the footwear Mr. [redacted] has received through Advanced Diabetic Solutions espeically due to the unusual nature of the defect of the boots. However, since this is the first time we were made aware of this problem, we will contact the company which has dealt with Mr. [redacted] to address these concerns.
