Fraud
I spoke to Steve on 1-18-2018 and he convinced me all that he could do for me such as consolidating some of my bills together and moving them to *** with 0% interest rates and a lower payment I was very hesitant regarding this and he spoke to me on various occasions telling me what he could do on 11-8 2018 I sent Steve with Dr Finance $990 to help consolidate my credit cards at a lower rate so that I can pay them off faster I was really hesitant but agreed because the person I was speaking to Erica (customer service) assured me that they would refund my money if that what they proposed was not up to my standards they told me I could take my time to do my research Steve charged me $1,200 and charged it to my *** card and then he told me I would be getting a *** bank card but not to activate it. on February 2nd 2018 he called and activate the *** card with 0% right Steve said he would go he would call me in May 2018 to check back with me at 11:15 a.m. and never did I have tried to call him at +866-*** and have never got an answer until today it was a recording stating # is no longer in service. I want my money back and they should be investigated for fraud

Desired Outcome

I would like to have my full amount of money and have this company investigated for fraud

Please see attached *

On March 21,2019, I paid a fee of $1295.00 to D.R Finance to help with consolidation of my credit card
debt. The agreement with the Credit Card Companies was to be no interest and low payments until the
total debt was paid. They fulfilled their obligation with my *** account, however, they did not fulfill
the obligation with the second company,***. Unfortunately, this has placed me in financial
distress with the debt incurring high interest. l also lost the $1295.00 fee that was paid for their
assistance.
The financial coach, Steve ***, rarely kept his scheduled phone appointments to discuss my
accounts and my options. Numerous calls were made to Steve *** and several messages were left
on his voice mail, but no calls were ever returned.
No matter the company, it is certainly necessary to keep in touch with clients when changes or options
need to be discussed concerning financial matters. I have tried for over a month to get in touch with D.R
Finance/Steve *** to no avail. The phone number is no longer in service. l understand there are
many other complaints regarding D.R Finance from other clients that were treated the same way. I
believe this company has scammed many consumers and taken our money, leaving us in financial
distress.

Desired Outcome

Please see attached * D.R Finance should pay back the fees to each client that they charged for their financial services. They need to be held accountable for their actions by law.

We paid this company to help consolidate and they took our money instead.
On 12/11/2018 we sent Drfinance a payment for $1000.00 to help us consolidate our cards at a much lower rate so that we could pay them off faster. After many attempts to try and get them to get the ball running an
d help us they never did. We talked to them by phone up until February 14th as well as emails and still nothing has happened nor have they helped. Jessica*** at ***@***@***.com has been our main contact telling us that she would get back to us and never does. They have taken full advantage of our family. We no longer have trust in this company to provide any services worth paying for.

Desired Outcome

The company was fraudulent in their intentions never providing any services to our family. Our trust is gone we will not accept any further options for services. We want a refund.

The company is not fulfilling the original offer and they are now refusing to refund my money, $1200
I was contacted by DR Finance around 10/18 and told they would be able to get all my cards down to a zero percentage rate, and keep the cards open if I paid them a fee of $1200. I was hesitant but agreed because the person I was speaking with assured me they would refund the money if what they proposed was not up to my standards. They told me I could take my time to do my research and then get back to them. We had a call schedule for 1/3/19 and they claim they called me but I did not get a call, if they did call they did not leave a message, and they had been told to leave a message because of all the robocalls I get and I may not recognize their number. I never received a call or voicemail or even and email. I looked into other companies and found one that would not charge me $1200 to help get me out of debt. This is a scam. There should be no charge, according to what other debt relief companies have told me. Either way, I called them back and left a voicemail in March 2019, they did not call back, so I called again later in March 2019 and they answered. Once again I told them I wanted a refund (as I have said every conversation) and they said I should go ahead and do more research and then call back if I really did find a deal that suited me better. I have called a few times and played phone tag. Then today, 5/8/19 I reached a human, who was rude from the start and was insulting and told me I had "put this pin the back burner" well my husband is in the hospital and has been for months, and I have a sick toddler who requires a lot of my aid. Anyway, I called them back when I had gathered enough information to be sure, since every other time I call they don't refund me and tell me to do more research and call back. Now they won't refund my money because they say they are offering me options, but they are not what we discussed originally, and definitely not something I would pay $1200 for. ITs costing more to have them help me than it would to just pay the interest. I want my money refunded as they promised me, after finding their page on Revdex.com it appears there are many people who just want their refund like promised.

Desired Outcome

I want a refund for the money I paid, $1200, as I was promised.

Please see attached

D.R Finance used 'bait and switch' and lies to fraudulently charge our credit card $1900 for services they never provided. They first promised they would call our creditors and get interest rates lowered to less than 5%, saying we wouldn't have to close any CC accounts. On Jan 14, Sr. Acct. Specialist Sarah called to say we would have to close our CC's, and she advised me to miss a payment on the Chase accts in January. On January 232, we checked with Chase and Walmart to ask if anyone had called to negotiate lower interest rates. "No"- no one had contacted our creditors! Tried to call the coach. John W; left msgs, several times for him and Sarah - no one would return out calls. A dispute was initiated with Walmart credit card, fraud department. That is still pending as of March 28, 2019.

Desired Outcome

Please see attached * D.R Finance should issue a FULL CREDIT of $1900 to our Walmart Mastercard ending in 9834 IMMEDIATELY! They should also be investigated by the State Atty General, and be reported to the Florida Consumer Protection Agency.

I was told they would help with my credit card debt. Now I can't seem to make contact for my refund!
In November of 2018 I was told because of my good payments on my credit cards I was approved for a 0% consolidation card to help get my debt down. Apparently that was through a 3rd party so, when I talked to them they said I could consolidate my cards, but not for 0%, but for a smaller interest rate. Ok, fine then I had to take care of something on my credit which can take a while, ok, fine, but then they wanted $900 fee to help with all this??? I should've noticed red flags right there, but desperate to get my credit fixed I went with it and they charged my HIGH INTEREST RATE CC! Now, I'm paying interest on that TOO! So, when all said and done and we couldn't come to an agreement or they couldn't help my situation and requested my refund (they stated 100% guarantee or money back) I can't seem to get in contact with anybody???? Everytime I called, either I missed the person or they're on vacation! They also said they have tried contacting me, but my voicemail was full????? My voicemail has never been full as long as I've owned a cell phone!!! They or I never had any issues connecting before until now??? I really didn't want to resort to this, but here we are. Again, on Friday 2/22/2019 I was told that the girl I needed to talk with regarding my refund was on vacation so, I stated that I needed to speak with someone now because I've been getting the runaround for 2 weeks. I spoke with a gentleman who stated that this particular lady is the only one who handles refunds who and he promised me she would contact me on Wednesday 2/27/2019 and now it is Friday 3/1/19 and STILL NO PHONE CALL!

Desired Outcome

I just want my refund of $900!!!!

D.R. Finance Response • Jan 03, 2019

It was our pleasure to be able to assist you!

D.R. Finance contacted me with a guarantee to "help get me out of debt quicker". They took their $1400 fee but did not conduct their service.
I was initially contacted by phone on Thursday, November 29, 2018 by a representative of D.R. Finance. This representative said that their company works with the credit bureaus and banks/lenders on a corporate level to help those with high debt pay it off more quickly. I was hesitant to provide ALL of the sensitive information they requested of me (SS #, Mother's maiden name, birth dates, etc.) SEVERAL times, but was told that my information was safe with their company. I was told by the several reps I spoke with that their guarantee was to "save the consumer $3,000 in interest over a year and get the consumer debt free 3-5 times faster". I was told this guarantee was 100% refundable should the guarantee not be met. The service promised by D.R. Finance was to work with my credit card company and other lenders to meet their guarantee. $1,400 was the fee for their service. I verbally agreed to have this fee charged to my credit card, and the only email I received regarding the service was permission to charge my card. I DID NOT receive a contract, agreement or guarantee of service of any kind in writing. On Friday, November 30, 2018 I called D.R. Finance to withdraw my subscription and request a full refund, as I did not believe that D.R. Finance would be able to do what they promised. Sarah, a senior account manager, explained the process in detail and promised to call me back later that day after seeing what she could do to fulfill their guarantee. I received no call back. I was contacted on Monday, December 3, 2018 @ 11:50 AM by Crystal (as scheduled) who informed me that Sarah was out of the office and would call me the next day. I received no call on Tuesday, December 4, 2018. On Wednesday, December 5, 2018, Sarah called to collect even MORE sensitive information to pull one of my credit reports. The only thing she would tell me was that there were several delinquencies and a high debt-to-income ratio (which I already knew), and that she would call back after she had chance to look it over more closely. It is now Thursday, December 13, 2018 and I have received no correspondence from D.R. Finance. I am convinced that this company is preying on consumers with high debt who are desperately trying to pay it off, by collecting their sensitive information and taking their money without providing any services. I also believe that my personal information is at risk.

Desired Outcome

I would like for my credit card to be refunded the full amount charged of $1,400. I would also like D.R. Finance to provide an apology and explanation as to why their services were not completed. I am disgusted that a company who claims to want to help people would do exactly the opposite by charging them a large fee and then disappearing with no contact. D.R. Finance DID NOT help me lower by debt but has actually increased it since I have now been charged interest on the $1,400 charge placed on my high interest credit card. I also want D.R. Finance to explain how they plan to dispose of the personal information they collected from me.

D.R. Finance Response • Jan 02, 2019

Looks like there was a misunderstanding regarding this client and the matter has since been resolved

They met my expectations in my finances. Jesse was great. Steve too. Thanks.

DR Finance said they could get my credit card interest rates to 0% but they are a financial scam. They should be investigated for fraud.
In February 2018 they called and said I qualified for lower credit card rates and told me they could help get my rates down to 0% for a one time fee of $1000. Since then they have done nothing to help and when I try to call they always have an excuse that the person is in training or unavailable and when I do have a meeting scheduled over the phone, they do not call most of the time. They are a scam and and steal people's money. DR Finance should not be in business. They should be investigated for fraud.

Desired Outcome

I want my money back and they should be investigated for fraud.

There was some confusion with this client and how he was refereed to us from a 3 party. We have since spoken to Adam and all matters have been resolved.

Customer Response • Dec 20, 2018

(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
All matters are not resolved. DR Finance called me in early Feb 2018 and said I qualified to get my credit cards interest rate down to 0%. There was an enrollment fee of close to $1,000 but afterwards they did nothing to help. Each call to them had a new excuse. They asked me to apply for a credit card but when I was declined they asked me to fax the letter and then claimed to have never received my fax. They make every effort to make dealing with them close to impossible and have scammed me out of $1,000. I am not satisfied with their reply and believe they are a financial scam and people should be made aware of their malpractice. They are practicing fraud and will not be happy until I get a refund.

DR Financial has deceptive practices. They took my money and failed to deliver the credit card they promised.
I spoke to both Sara and her supervisor John on two occasions regarding full reimbursement of $1900, which they took out of my account without prior approval. I did not call Dr. Financial for any credit repair, I had good credit, they checked my score. I wanted to consolidate my existing credit cards into one (both cards were in good standing at 7-8% interest). From the start they kept saying they could do it. I asked Sara specially, if she was going to need another credit check, said no. She said all we need is the 30 day late payment to be taken off. I called several times concerned about how credit score was changing due to the 45 days to get results. I knew for a fact, that credit scores are checked again before any card is issued. Since they took $1900 out of my credit card, it put me behind on payments. I called Sara again to confirm that another credit check with not be needed, since my credit was taking a negative hit. She said "no" we have all we need. 45 days goes by and she then tells me she needs to another credit check. She strung me along for over 45 days making empty promises. The bottom line is, I did not get a credit card and they are not giving my full refund. They are now keeping $800.00 of my my money for "credit repair" which I never needed.

Desired Outcome

Full Refund for services not rendered

D.R. Finance Response • Nov 21, 2018

This matter has been resolved with the consumer and a refund has been issued.

Customer Response • Nov 22, 2018

(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
DR Financial did not give me a full refund. They kept $800.00 for services I did not ask for. I asked for a credit card with better terms and they promised
they could provide one. I am asking for the full refund and a detailed bill stating exactly what services they provided that cost $800.00.

Attached is a copy of the partial refund. They again are deceiving the public by stating they gave me my refund.

Note: On the attachment they attempted to charge me for the things I did not request. Again, I did not request for credit repair. I requested a new credit card with better terms. The promised they could provide one, but they were not able to, period. Please check recording of conversations.

I want a full refund for services not rendered, period. The $800.00 for services they are attempting to keep was not requested or approved by me. In addition, whatever services they are claiming they provided does not support $800.00.

Customer Response • Nov 26, 2018

They failed to give me a full refund. They kept $800.00 for services never rendered. DR Finance continue to mislead customers. I have asked several time for the details of what they did to cost me $800.00. They have not answered my question.

Again DR Finance continues to deceive the customer. They aren't willing to provide detail billing of the $800.00 because they can't justify the cost
