Scam calls and texts constantly for a month straight
DRA company has been constantly texting and calling both my cellphone and my house phone regarding a supposed debt through THE VIN CAPITAL LLC for a payday loan in the amount of $390.00 since September 5,2020 I have told them multiple times to send me something in writing through the US mail and they sent me a email with attached somewhat proof of this debt. I filed a complaint with the South Carolina BBB and the company responded with the following:


If an individual does not remember having a specific account then they may be a possible identity theft victim. In these cases, all we ask is documentation showing it has been recorded and reported. We never received any of this information from this individual, but as a courtesy we will update the account as so. Please allow 2-3 business days for our systems to fully update with this.

I have also read on the BBB website that this is a lot of their response back to the consumer.
Also prior to today October 7,2020 my name was showing up on there website with this debt.
I did check my info on their website GOTODRA.COM on their website and my name automatically comes up then switches to the screen saying:

Dear: This account has been updated within in our systems.If you have any questions regarding the specifics of your account please click lets chat.

I did click on the lets chat and the rep Monica I chatted with stated:
she stated that they already sent me a validation notice and I assume you had mail forwarding or did not receive it. we are hoping rather than having to jump hoops and request original documentation from the client or creditor that we could just settle this. what portion of the bill are you disputing cause they will settle for less if they don't have to spend the money getting documents from the original creditor.

I want this company to stop contacting me immediately- you have not followed the law in sending written proof through the US mail within the first five days of contacting me on September 5,2020.
Also why did your company wait eight years after 2012 to contact me about this?
Statute of limitations in New Jersey is six years.
this is a eight year old supposed debt.

This company appears to be using the same practices that scams use and provides little to no information on their robo calls
This company has been spamming my phone multiple times per day using varying numbers from across the globe. When answered no one is there and I receive a robo recording. The same robo recording that is left on voicemail. This robo recording provides no details whatsoever. It does not include who they are actually trying to contact or what it is about. But it does contain thinly veiled threats if I dont take action over this mystery issue. It directs people to a website that could easily be fake or contain viruses. I am about 99% confident that they either have the wrong number or that its a scam but provides 0 options to get them to STOP CALLING ME.

Desired Outcome

I want the business to 1) stop calling me unless i am the person that they are actually trying to contact for whatever this mystery issue is and 2) change their business practices (if they are a legitimate business) to be less 'scam like'.

I did still receive a robo call Sunday, but I am going to assume that they will stop. I still suggest that something is changed on their business practice since a mystery robo call about a mystery issue telling you to go to a mystery website is exactly how scams happen as well. No info is given to prove it's a legit company or who they were trying to get ahold of or for what.

received call yesterday with a message and called them back. spoke to Rep. and she said I owed money from a loan for 2013 that I never had...somehow
she had my information but this is the first I ever heard and said it was not my debt. I said if she had documentation of my signature on this debt that I would then talk further with her. She sent demand letter with no signature and proof. she said they just got this debt collection in their office yesterday ....I said from 2013? today they are calling be at 8 AM to harass me again. I am a Senior Citizen with a sick family member and there is no way that I want this to continue. If it is my debt I will be happy to pay but from 7 years ago with no proof...I think it is a scam and I truly need it to stop. she has information of an address I lived at over 15 years ago...

I want these people to either prove this is my debt or leave me alone.

I want this case to be closed and no longer harassed by this company...
I felt that was being scammed because she was trying desperately to have me make a payment on something that was NOT mine. Also, she informed that this debt had been written off and then sent to them. This makes no sense to me whatsoever.

Scammers! I got a voicemail on my cell claiming they tried to collect a fictitious debt directing you to a website to trick you into paying them money
I received a call on my cell phone and missed the call and they left a voicemail. When I heard the voicemail and realized it was a totally bogus claim I tried to call the number back and it was a dead number. In the message it was a "Christopher Adams" who claimed they've tried to reach me to no avail and using scare tactics like they urge me to "resolve this matter" once and for all. Then he says I need to go to their website www.gotodra.com to resolve it. He also says that if the payment is made online the debt is "reduced by 80%", trying to create a false sense of urgency to only use the website. On their website it states "As a result of the COVID-19 pandemic, we have slashed online settlements and will take virtually any payment plan to stop collections." They have you input your phone number to get started and obviously show fictitious debts and amounts and lure the customer into "settling" at 80% reduction. These scammers should be stopped ASAP!

The company is voilating the Fair debt collection act with unconstutional practices.
I received calls regarding a debt from 2012 that was claimed in a 2013 BK chp 7. I tried giving them the information and their rude employees got smart or laughed. When I called back to complain they allowed the phone to continue to ring without answer. When they finally pickup the representive laughed. This is unethical practices of debt collecting and shouldn't be allowed to do debt collections. They have voilated the fair debt act the account is more than 7 years old and was claimed on BK. I haven't heard anything in 7 years now they keep trying to recycle this debt by continuing to sell it. Per the Dedt act they are no longer allowed to collect.

Desired Outcome

Please delete this debt from your system and stop continuing to sale the debt to different agencies for collections.

The company called my house several times leaving generic messages; twice at 3:26am. No idea who they're calling. Found out. Wrong person.

The company called my home number several times, leaving generic collections messages, but no information about whom they were trying to contact. Two of the calls were at 3:26am. I called the 1-888 number and it turns out the person to whom they say the account is tied does not live here and is unknown to us. When I pushed the indicated number to let them know that, it said it was unable to process this information so I left a message threatening to sue them if they ever again called me at 3:30 in the morning.

Desired Outcome

I want them to stop calling me and fix their business practices so wrongly contacted people can let them know. Stop leaving generic messages.

This company calls me daily. I have no ligation out there. I am a senior citizen and I I have tried talking to the caller and its automated
The caller keeps calling and saying I have a debt. But I am unable to talk to the caller or if I call the number back it directs me to their mobile website.

Said I owed 110p.00 to Oakwood payday loans. Never heard of these ppl. Said I am going to be sued. Had last 4 digits of social!!!!
They said to no avail they have been contacting me and was taking me to court wanted my bank info to settle this matter today or court papers would be on the way. How did they get the last 4 digits of my SOCIAL security??????

Unsolicited and frequent pre-recorded phone calls to my cell phone multiple times a week from different numbers.
The calls are all pre-recorded and direct you to contact them. The numbers provided do not appear to work - one cannot be completed as dialed and the other number doesn't do anything once it picks up (no one speaks so I just hang up). The online form requires me to give them information I do not want to give them. I do not owe any money. This call is probably for a Chantille Weber (unsure of spelling but I believe this person used to have my cell phone number about 10 years ago). I want these harassing phone calls to stop.

Desired Outcome

I would like them to remove my cell phone number from their directory and/or to include a note in the account (of the person who actually owes money) that my phone number should not be contacted. These debt collectors just seem to move the debt to another agency and I get harassed all over again.

DRA is calling me on behalf of seven group llc a company I have never heard of or done business with stating I owe money. Ref complaint XXXXXXXX
DRA is calling me demanding I pay money for a collection/judgement to a company I have never heard of or done business with. The company they are claiming I owe is seven group llc, again I have never heard if them or used their services. A separate complaint was made against seven group llc reference #XXXXXXXX it was found this company is not in business.
I feel that DRA is makin fraudulent claims to collect money that is not owed.
I would like to see documentation they have stating I owe the money. If it does exist it is fraudulent and I need to take necessary steps to protect myself.

Desired Outcome

I would like for the business to no longer contact me as their claims are false. I would also like them to provide me all documentation they have such as what services were used, location of services, how services were pursued, etc. If documents exist they have been falsified and I need to be able to pursue and protect myself against their claims.

I stated that I have NEVER done business with this company nor have I heard of them. There is a substantial difference. I had/have absolutely no knowledge of this account up until I received the first phone call on 8/19/2020 and I did not authorize this account.
I have not reported identity theft because I was unaware this existed until 8/19/2020. Hence the reason I asked for any and all documentation this company claims to have so I could take the proper steps and actions to protect myself.
I feel DRA and seven group llc are both fraudulent and are attempting to scam innocent people out of money with fear of ruining their credit.
I am requesting copies of all documents as well as documentation the account has been closed per their statement in the response they gave.

Considering the individual who called me, asked for me by my maiden name, which is no where attached to this complaint.
Please provide documentation as proof.

I get repeated calls for someone else's account in collections.
I get repeated calls on my cell phone for someone else's account in collections. I have called back and contacted other ways to tell them they have the wrong number. They acknowledge my request to delete my number but make no change. The continually call me. I would normally ignore but they seem to be a legitimate business. The calls are robocalls and no one picks up the few times I do answer the phone. I do not know this other person they are trying to reach. It seems very inappropriate to disclose her personal information to me.

Desired Outcome

I want DRA to stop calling me for someone else's debt. I do not know the other person and cannot put them in contact with her. I will not pay her debt.

I cannot accept the response until I see action on their part. Words alone are meaningless. I have told this company before that they have the wrong number. The rep I speak to says he/she will note the file. They continue to call me. I can only assume they think I am lying. This is not a number change. I have had this number for over 20 years. They have always had the wrong number and refuse to delete it.

Repeat calls from multiple Florida phone numbers. Sometimes multiple calls per day. No specifics lefts on voicemails that would lead me to believe there is any legitimate debt. Scam call.

They keep calling my phone from different phone numbers asking for *** keep telling them I am not her and they keep calling
They keep calling me for *** So far XXX-XXX-XXXX has called me saying they were them also XXX-XXX-XXXX saying they were them and XXX-XXX-XXXX has. I am not *** I do not know her, she is not related to me. This has been going on for a week now, I keep telling them I am not her yet they keep calling me anyways.

As long as my number is fully removed I am fine with that. It definitely took longer than 2 or 3 days to stop calling me but as long as it stops now I'm satisfied.

I am being harassed constantly by this company for someone I do not know.
I have been called numerous time ref: a *** where they got my number I do not know. I have sent them this message via chat.
I am NOT Jose Lopez nor do I know this person. I am being harassed constantly. Again, take me off your listings... I will record all calls to and from your business. STOP CALLING ME.

I have called them and requested deletion and was informed they would take me off the list and no more call would continue but it has started again.

Constant phone calls despite repeated requests to STOP CALLING.
We have had this phone number for two months. The entire time we've had this phone number, we've recieved calls sometimes multiple times a day in regards to some debt that threw previous owner of this number had sent to collection. We don't know this person. We don't want phone calls about this person's deliquent accounts.

We've followed the directions provided by DRA LLC to stop the calls and they have not stopped. Our next step will be to file a complaint with the attorney general of our state.

Every time we get calls, we block the numbers...but they call with a different number every time.

The resolution that I'm seeking are for them to STOP CALLING ME.

We do want our phone number removed. That said, we've been telling your representatives for months that they have the wrong number. We've also left multiple messages following the automated prompts asking (begging, really) for our number to be removed.

On Friday when we spoke to someone, ge tried to extort money from us by telling me that he would not remove our number without us paying a fee. We owe you no money and will not pay any money to you.

This company harasses me EVERY DAY multiple times from multiple phone numbers. I do not owe ANYONE ANY MONEY and there's no way to get them to stop.
I cannot get these people to stop calling me.

There is no way to speak to a human being. They just call me over and over again every single day from multiple phone numbers telling me I have a delinquent account. I do not owe any money to any creditors. I have excellent credit, and they apparently have me confused with someone else, and I cannot get them to stop calling me. This is a DAILY OCCURRENCE, and they just call from spoofed numbers every time I block them. Please help me end this harassment!

It is good that the harassing calls will stop. I would no less like to register my disgust with a company that employs these kinds of tactics: Repeated phone calls on the same day at all hours including weekends, using false/spoofed numbers to continue the harassment. What a horrible, unethical company. I am not convinced these calls are not a scam.

Frequent calls from fake phone numbers; alleges a debt that was paid several years ago
For several weeks at least, I have received robocalls from "Cara" from several different spoofed/fake numbers. When I have answered and spoken with someone, they allege a debt from 8-10 years ago that has been paid. They have apologized and said that the info would be relayed and I would not be contacted, but then they call again. The website looks suspicious at best, and, again, this debt has been paid in full.

Desired Outcome

I would like for them to remove my number from their system as the debt was paid in full more than 7 years ago. Please stop calling me from fake numbers, remove my info, and any necessary communication should be in writing via mail. This is not a valid debt and I do not wish to be called by this company.

When someone says they have already paid this account all we ask is to show proof such as a receipt or letter to make sure it is indeed the same account. If it is, then we will close out the account. DRA LLC will not stop calling my number looking for a Ms. I AM NOT HER and I don't know who Ms. is.
Multiple calls a week from DRA LLC looking for someone that is NOT at my number. I have emailed and called to tell me I do not know who they are looking for and to stop contacting my number.

Have received calls from DRA on my number for several of the past years. I have had this number for over 12 years. How can it be that I am still receiving calls on MY number?
