I have been receiving multiple robo-calls per day on my cell phone from different phone numbers related to this Company called www.gotoDRA.com.
I do not owe anyone any money. This must be a scam. I'm getting 4 calls and voicemails per day for the past few weeks. Voicemails lasting 43 seconds each time, calling from different phone numbers from different states. The exact message doesn't make much sense, but appears to be "debt recovery" in nature and is a "limited time offer". The Robo caller identifies herself as "Cara".

Desired Outcome

Please STOP these harassing calls immediately. I am unable to contact the business. I am unable to actually speak to a human to ask them to stop calling, because the calls are robotic.

Unfortunately, people change their numbers often these days and wrong number calls happen. Immediately upon being notified it is a wrong number we remove wrong numbers from our system. Once we remove a wrong number it takes 2-3 business days to get updated throughout the system. Then, no more calls will be made for that number. We see you reported this number as a bad number earlier today. Please allow 2-3 business days and it will get filtered out of our system. Thank you.

I accept that my phone number will not be contacted, however their reasoning makes no sense, as I've had this phone number for over 20 years. Nor do I owe anyone money or have reason to be contacted regarding collections. Yesterday I was left 5 voicemails from this company and I look forward to no more unwarranted harassment.

I continually get automated collection phone calls from this number. I do not know the person they seek but cannot be removed.
The automated phone calls will not stop following their prompts. There is no person to speak with and the Revdex.com phone number provided is for the same automated system that is harassing me.

Desired Outcome

Please stop their calling my number.

DRA LLC calls my work phone multiple time a day. I have requested that they remove my number from their system but the calls continue.

Desired Outcome

I would like DRA to stop contacting me. I would also like to see them incur a monetary fine for the repeated contact that I asked no longer occur. This company has been disrespectful of my time and privacy.

This company has an automated "robo-call"recorded message that has called me over 60 times in 30 minutes. I requested them to stop. But they haven't.
On 08/06/2020 Go To Dra has used a robo calling automated recorded message to call me over 60 times in 30 minutes before I added a app that has now blocked their calls. I called the company to tell them to stop calling me and they demanded my personal identification. When I told them I would give them only the phone number they were continuously calling as I did not have verification they were a safe company to give my personal data to the representative said if I don't give him my data he refuses to take my number off of their list and will not stop the abusive calls.

Desired Outcome

I want no further phone calls from this company. I believe they are a scam. If it is a legitimate company that somehow has business with me they may contact me by postal mail only.

Thank you for responding, however I have had this phone number for over 10 years. AND your company made over 1100 calls in a matter of hours - that is not a "mis-dial" So this is not a case where "phone numbers change frequently" or wrong number dialed. Additionally, when speaking to your representative they refused to delete my number. He was very rude and said unless I gave him my personal data your company would call as much and often as they like and then he hung up. I have since received even more calls. I believe the attorney when he said you are a scam business. I see nothing in your response that would lead me to believe otherwise. I would ask Revdex.com to verify the legitimacy of your "business" and warn anyone receiving calls from you to contact their state's Attorney General.

DRA Response • Aug 18, 2020

The number the individual provided, XXX XXX-XXXX is not anywhere is our database. This means it was either called by another business and never called by us or it was already taken out of the system. If there is a different number we need to take out of the system please let us know.

(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
This company is not addressing the fact they called me over 1100 times in a matter of hours. They are taking no accountability except to say that they either didn't make the call or already removed my number. I am grateful to hear the "removed" my number- However publishing my number in their response, here, is further irresponsible of them as I am now finding out that the responses are public. This company has not made any attempt to prove they are a legitimate business. The only proposed resolution acceptable is for this company to acknowledge they called me erroneously, admit they are a robo-calling company That called me illegally thousands of times. And either prove they are a legitimate business that is legally permitted to make any such calls by providing their actual phone number and true legal company name OR admit they are a scam company and cease and desist all business.

I have never had the account the service is referring to. They started calling out of the blue and will not stop calling or give me any information.
The company calls 3-5x a day, they are calling two different numbers. When I have talked to the company I am told things like "since my boss likes your name we will accept x amount". I have attempted to tell the representatives I have never had a payday loan in my life, they continue to cut me off and get loud until I disconnect the call. When asking to speak to a manager, the same person changes their voice and attempts to continue has the supervisor. Really frustrating. I have never received a piece of mail from this company.

Desired Outcome

Please stop contacting me.

DRA Response • Aug 17, 2020

If someone says they have never had this account and the account is in their name then they are a victim of identity theft. For identity theft cases, all we ask is to show proof it is been reported and we will close out the account. We never received such information from this person, but as a courtesy we will update the account as such.

The company will not stop calling every 1-2 minutes, and no way to contact them.
We started receiving calls every 1-2 minutes from 9 am 8/3/2020 until 6 pm the same day. It was well over 200 calls during that time frame. I need that phone to work and cannot simply disconnect it during the day. Once I was home, my crying children let me know of what was going on and that they could not dial out to contact me. I tried several times to contact them, but, because I do not have a debt with them, their automated system will not let me contact them. I tried another 855 number, to no avail. I called my phone company and charged me $10 per month to block the call. I spent approximately 3 hours getting this issue temporarily resolved.

Desired Outcome

The direct cost to me was $10 plus my 3 hours at $50 per hour. That is $160. I believe the CFPB charges $10000 per phone call if I decide to submit a claim. I'll settle for 1% of the CFPB charges or $20,000 total.

DRA Response • Aug 06, 2020

If there was an issue with our phone system we will want to get that fixed right away. If you would kindly provide your phone number we will make sure to remove it from our systems.

(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
Highly unacceptable. I came home to crying children. This is the phone they use for emergencies and were prevented from using it. This did not go on for a few minutes. This went on for hours. This issue is not only wrong, it's illegal. Please make reparations as soon as possible to prevent my reporting to the appropriate authorities.

Customer Response • Aug 13, 2020

I forgot to include my phone number that was called excessively in my complaint. The number is XXX-XXX-XXXX. My complaint number is XXXXXXXX. Please let the company know so they can delete my number from their database.

Thanks

What this company did was reprehensible. It's apparent the company does not care about doing the right thing. Unfortunately I do not accept the response as complete.

This company keeps calling my cell phone & leaving voice mail about a debt I do not owe! I don't owe ANY past due debts to ANYONE or any agency.
DRA LLC, a.k.a. Debt Recovery Associates, or whatever name they're using now, keeps calling my cell phone and leaving voice mail. This is the jist of thier message --

"Yes this is ___ at the offices of DRA Associates with a friendly courtesy call to notify you as a result of the COVID 19 pandemic we have drastically reduced settlement offers to 15%. You can contact us at this phone number or ____ and resolve it online. Our website address is WWW go to DRA dot com/consumers. We appreciate your cooperation. If you would like to speak with an agent now please press one. Thank you."

Let me be clear. I do NOT owe any outstanding debt to any agency or company. I don't know how this so-called company got my cell phone number, since I rarely give it out to anyone I don't know. I block their number, but they change the number they're using and then call and leave the SAME message on voice mail again a week later. I'm tired of having to block this company from calling me. I feel this is harassment for no valid reason!! (So far it's only been through voice mail, thank goodness.) Please tell them to cease and desist immediately!!

Desired Outcome

I want them to stop calling my cell phone and leaving voice mails! I want them to stop harassing me IMMEDIATELY. I don't owe them or any other debt collectors ANYTHING. It's that simple.

DRA Response • Aug 10, 2020

Nothing I can think of or wish or am able to share publicly.

This place called and made threats to my family. Saying I needed to contact them. Harrassed everyone in my family.
They said I had a payday loan back in 2010 which I didnt but didnt want them harassing my family anymore so I paid the settlement.

Desired Outcome

Dont make threats to peoples family!

DRA Response • Aug 06, 2020

If someone has already paid off an account all we need is a receipt showing that and we will remove the account from the systems. This individual's account has already been updated (a few days ago) and should not receive anymore contact.

I received a phone call concerning a debt. When I went on their website I have no clue what the debt is for.
I received a call from this company concerning repayment of a debt. When I went on the website to see who and what amount was owed, I have never dealt with that company before, I have never taken out a payday loan in my life. Contacted DRA and asked about it and they told me to file a police report. I informed them that I needed information and something in writing about when and where this loan was taken out in order to file a complaint. They just said we will notate your account that you dispute the charge. I informed them that this debt is not on credit report so I had no information to try and dispute and file a report for identity theft. Since they have never sent anything in writing and would not answer any questions concerning the company that they are collecting for, how am I supposed to file any sort of dispute? They told me to check my family before I filed the police report since one of them more than likely stole my identity. I have never in my life dealt with such an unprofessional company in my life.

Desired Outcome

I want to know all the information about the original loan they are supposedly collecting on.

DRA Response • Jul 26, 2020

Anytime someone confirms their information, but says they don't remember the account we ask them if they believe their identity was used to take out this account without their knowledge. If it was, then we just need the report stating such and we will close the account. We never received anything from this individual stating such, but as a courtesy we will update the account with this information.

They are supposedly collecting on a payday loan. I have never done a payday loan in my life. If they do not provide information as to when and where the loan was taken out how can we file a report. They will not provide any information. We want the information in writing so that we can file a police report. How do you go file a report but can't provide the cops with any information as to when/where/amount taken?

DRA Response • Aug 11, 2020

We have closed out this account in the system. There should be no more contact regarding this account.

This company is accusing me of a debt that I never had. They were trying to force me to settle with pennies on the dollar.
DRA LLC called me, text me, called my ex-spouse, called my family members claiming I owed a debt that was included in a bankruptcy from 2004. I contacted them went over the time lines and asked them to leave me alone. Less than a week later I received a text message again from them asking for me to talk to a Mike Adams. I called, He said I owed $500 something to a payday loan company from 2013. He went on to say he would settle for pennies on the dollar instead. I asked for the details of the debt? I never took any money from a payday loan company during that time. He then said he hears that a lot. It must be stolen Identity. He said the only way that he would leave me a lone would be if I filed a police report or settled on the debt. He also threatened that he would elevate my claim and it would keep me from purchasing a house or car if I didn't move quickly. I asked if he knew my ss# He rattled off the last four. Which means nothing to me. He wanted a valid email address so that he could send me the demand letter. I gave it to him to see what this mess was all about? The time frame and the address on the letter do not match up with any of the story given. I do not owe this debt. I will not pay on something I haven't done. I believe this company obtains information about you from various sources ie Google and pieces together bogus information. I have contacted the police department and I will get a lawyer if I have to. He told me the story about an elderly couple who paid him $2000 because they were trying to buy a house and couldn't because they owed DRA this debt. So they just paid it instead of fighting it. It's terrible to think that there are people out there who will just throw money at scam artists like this just to make them go away. They aren't getting my money because I never took out a payday loan in 2013 for any amount of money period.

Desired Outcome

I don't want this company to ever contact me or any of my family again. I shouldn't have to jump through all kinds of hoops to get them to go a way. After looking at that letter, I now know they are just pulling info from all types of sources to make you think the claim is real.

Several harassment collection calls have been received including today via Peter Bronson. DRA LLC cannot be contacted to speak with a live rep.
I filed a chapter 7 bankruptcy via case: XX-XXXXX Dec 2019. A 341 hearing occurred on 1/21/20. Case was successfully discharged by the assigned judge for the Northern District of TX - late March 2020. All applicable debt has been discharged per the law firm that represented me:

*** Law Firm
XXXXX *** Oak Blvd; Ste ***
San Antonio, TX 78258
(XXX) XXX-XXXX - P
(XXX) XXX-XXXX - F
***@*** - EM

note: several calls have been received from DRA LLC leaving voicemails including today via 512 #; Peter Bronson. When I returned the call three IVR options were offered; select 1 for a text msg link to settle; select 2 for an online option to settle or 3 to speak with a live agent. I called back twice this am and after selecting option 3 both times, the IVR loops you back to option 1. I had no success speaking with anyone live. Thereafter, I googled DRA LLC & sent a web portal message to contact the above law firm re: any collection matter in my behalf.

In summary, I have no idea who DRA LLC is representing or collecting for or said amount beyond Peter Bronson's message & their automated system that "they may have" a file in their office in my name for collection & recommending a quick cost savings solution to resolve said debt online or via a text msg link.

Since my law firm has advised me previously to ignore any post bankruptcy collection calls, given the successful chapter 7 discharge absolving all debt in my behalf, I deemed it necessary to file a Revdex.com complaint in this matter. Hopefully no other calls will be received as stipulated via their web portal & DRA LLC will call the law firm instead.

Desired Outcome

Cease & desist of all communications to me directly. Per chapter 7 bankruptcy case: 19-34194, successfully discharged in my behalf late March 2020, calls related to any collection related matter in my behalf via DRA LLC, should be directed to John Chivis Law Firm at: (888) 253-7002 - P (866) 490-1932 - F [email protected] Thank you for your assistance in this matter.

DRA Response • Aug 10, 2020

We did not have this bankruptcy status on file. Thank you for the notification. We will update the account. Please allow 1-2 business days for your contact information to get filtered out of our system.
