My father is an elderly, disabled veteran living on social securityHe has hepatic encephalopathy which causes confusionHe was approached by an in-home salesman and was coerced into signing a contract for a $vacuum!! I tried returning it through united consumer financial and was so rudely told "this is a legally binding contract and we could leave it outside or do whatever with it but we will still have to pay for it." I informed her that my father is currently in the hospital and could not make payments but it was still the same answerThis business is a scam! The vacuum doesn't even work properly and it is so heavy I could barely move itThis company is obviously taking advantage of peopleJust pick this vacuum up and take it off my dad's credit

This is regarding a billing issue with United Consumer Financial Services’ outdated websiteI attempted to change my banking information online through their website to be debited from another account as the one they had on file I was no longer going to useI received multiple calls from different agents at very inconvenient times of the dayWhen I was able to pick up their call they informed me my account was late and I kept telling them that I recently changed my banking information online they kept saying could be a delayed in postingI continued to receive calls from them each time I would tell them the same thingOne agent finally asked what browser I used to access their website I told him I used [redacted] ; then I was informed their website only works for Internet ExplorerI attempted to resolve the issue by calling in I spoke to one of their agents who was very rude and did not even listen to my issue and just kept arguing with me like I was trying not to pay the billI fina

I received product through ***The representative told me I had a certain time frame to turn it back in before I would be stuck within the contract and long behold it was a lieI asked for them to pick it up numerous of times and they said it wouldn't affect my credit because they didn't grab the nerchandise backSo I'm stuck with this payment and a product I don't wantAnd now my credit is being affectedHow do I dispute this

I used this service through a door to door sales team from who knows where selling KirbyI've read through some of the complaints, but people just don't understand how these things workI had two different family members go through this process and knew the mark-ups and suchWe negotiated the sale down to less than half of their asking price, and for a payment amountlength, and terms WE choseThe poor sales people were literally at our house for almost hours before we both agreed the price and terms As far as this finance service, I never had an issue making payments, though when paying by check I have noticed the bank was slow to cash it and I could see how a payment might go late if not sent in earlyI'd suggest always being one payment ahead I am now today am paying off the accountAs long as this payoff goes smooth, I must say I am 100% satisfied with this serviceIt served a financing need for a product we agreed to buy at a price we negotiatedPersonally, I would trust using them again if I had to, but I would suggest reading the fine print and asking a LOT of questionsDoor to door sales people are looking to sell you something at the most profit they canThey are not looking out for your interest, credit, or financial situationKnow what you are signing before you sign it

We were contracted to make eighteen payments of $March 1st was our last paymentWe even talked to customer service to confirm thisOn April fist a payment was taking out of the bankNot only did it short our account by $but it caused us to have $in overdraft feesI have call them for three days in a row and all they say is s supervisor will call backAnd that we still owe money

So I have united consumer financial on my credit showing closedSays the balance is $1,so I obviously want this off my credit instead of filing bankruptcy I decide to tackle my credit with the best way and funds I haveI call ucf and explain I do not have $1,to just throw at them I ask for a settlement so we both can be happythe way I was spoken to was flat out rudedis honest people they call me very very late at night and do not disclose who they are I ask who they are and they are rude about itcurrently filing a complaint with several forms of proof and intend to take this as far as I cananyways back to the old debtThis debt I have tried to reason with them and see what options there were of course nothing in their eyes they want a time payment that's it I will continue to tell people how this company is along with tag every product they finance on social mediahell I may even tag news stations about how they are wrongfully breaking laws with their un reasonabl

I initially was seduced into buying a Kirby vacuum, and decided to cancel the contract with UCFS It took the distributor days to pick up the vacuum I sent the cancellation paperwork to UCFS within the hrs to cancel the contractI followed up with UCFS and they indeed received the cancellation In a routine check of my credit, I discovered that UCFS reported to at least [redacted] and [redacted] that I was 30-days late and that I owed the over $dollars which is not the case

I fell onto hard times after I purchased my Kirby Vacuum I was receiving calls almost daily from this company harassing me to pay (not uncommon for financial companies), and they even went as far as to ask me to take money out of my 401k or ask friend and family for money to pay them back After my wife found a job I started to become more financially stable, I got pack onto my regular payments with them after agreeing to this with one of their reps over months later, I'm still receiving letters from them and they're still reporting me to the credit bureaus and threatening to send me to collections even though they've still been taking my monthly payments

I have had problems with this service due to the fact I explained to the Gentalman at my door, that I was disabled and could not afford a Kirby nor could I push one The Gentalman told me if I would just let him bring it in he would get points for it His supervisor was in the van outside my house I can't remember what the points were for but he knew my condition and position before he entered my home He showed what the vacume could do then told me it was easy to use, Well he talked me into the purchase of the kirby Well months Later I called and explained it was extremely hard to use and with my disability there was no way I could use it They explained abruptly that I only had days to cancel I explained to the lady I had not even used it in days, and I would be glad to have my daughter or son-n-Law drop it off at there door At that time the lady at the office started getting very angry with me I spoke with a few people that explained that they themselves had prob

I canceled my contract via telephone as well as a letter sent by way of [redacted] a day after receiving the equipment through [redacted] Over a month later, my bank account was chargedI called United Consumer Financial Services to request a refund for the erroneous charge on my accountI was told I will have to wait until UCFS speaks with the company that sold me the equipment and confirm the equipment was returnedAfter this confirmation, I would receive a refund check in daysI then spoke to a supervisor by the name of Joe at extension to request a reversal of the charge appearing on my accountJoe informed me that UCFS does not have the authority to reverse the charge on my bank accountI was told to stop payment with my banking institution and then UCFS would reimburse me for the stop payment feeI called my banking institution back and was told UCFS has the authority and ability to reverse the charge on my account through their merchant servicesMy banking institution s

A Kirby salesperson came to my home on February 10, He was scheduled to do a demonstration, in my home on completing the carpet demonstration, I told him I liked the Kirby but it was too expensive for me, so he started wrapping up the equipment and he made a phone call and a representative from United Consumer Services asked to speak with me, She said that they were willing to charge me a total of $with payments of $a month starting the month of March, I had days to change my mind, I said you're cutting the price and they said yes because the item he would sell me would be the Demo-unit and he would leave it with me that dayI signed the contract for $and now because I missed a payment I saw on my credit report where they are charging me full price for a used item and I didn't sign that contract for that amountI contacted them and they said I was being charged for a brand new item, and they to tack on more money and that I couldn't prove other wise
