Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this response/resolution is satisfactory to me AT THIS TIME.  During my meeting with Drees Homes, they agreed to additional repairs to the drywall at a later date to address what will certainly be more nail pops (judging by what has happened to this point).  The specific agreement is a second drywall touch up at 2 years.  They also spent 4 days working in the home to address the nail pop situation as completely as possible at this time.  The major concern still outstanding is the hardwood flooring.  During the meeting that was referenced, the warranty manager identified that there we several boards that were problems.  At this time, we are in the process of allowing the installer and manufacturer to evaluate the problems and present their solution. That said, I am accepting this resolution on good faith that they will follow through on the hardwood floor issue.  My expectation is that the floor will be replaced because of multiple defects, splinters and poor quality.  If this expectation is not met I will revisit the complaint process, but I am hopeful this won't be the case, based on how Drees has worked so hard to address my concerns on the drywall and other areas.
Regards,

Numerous failed attempts to get company to clean up their muddy debris in front of our new home and driveway. My husband and I currently live in a subdivision where we recently purchased a new construction Drees home. Currently, there is ongoing construction in our subdivision. On July 1, 2013, I contacted a Drees representative ([redacted] in regards to the construction that was initiated right across the street from our home. At that time, we had the only home in the vicinity until the other new home construction was initiated. I contacted [redacted] after heavy rain had caused a buildup of the muddy debris from the home under construction to accumulate on our driveway and on the street in front of our home. The mud had flowed down from the home under construction after the heavy rain. We were also tracking the mud in our garage since we had no way to pull into our driveway with our vehicles without driving through it. I emailed [redacted] multiple pictures of our flooded driveway so he could see how much muddy water had accumulated on it. On July 2, 2013, I emailed a Homeowners' Association (HOA) representative ([redacted] since the cleanup dates I were initially given by [redacted] kept getting deferred for various reasons (busy staff, additional rain, etc). I had also emailed her copies of the photos I took. At one point, I was referred (by [redacted]) to the developer (?) named David(?) to find out more information about the planned clean-up since he would be responsible for it. After numerous emails and/or phone calls back and forth between [redacted], [redacted], and David, someone finally cleaned the street and installed a barrier across the street to try to prevent the issue from reoccurring. I was very disappointed initially because I was told that the street would be cleaned one day and had to call and/or email just about every day before the issue was finally resolved. However, we were just glad the issue did finally get resolved even though it took days.On October 12, 2013, I emailed [redacted] again to complain about the reaccumulation of muddy debris in front of our driveway and street in front of our home. I expressed my concern about my husband and I (once again) tracking the mud in our driveway and garage. I also emailed her more photos as proof. She responded on October 14, 2013, and informed me that she would pass my message on to the developer. I sent another email later that night after I did not hear anything else from her or the developer about the status of resolving the issue. She responded the next day on the evening of October 15, 2013 and informed me that the developer was not responsible for resolving the issue and the developer would be contacting Drees to resolve the issue. I responded later that evening since I was confused about who was responsible for the clean-up (developer versus builder). She replied the next day, October 16, 2013, and informed me that Drees would clean up the debris that same day. It's almost midnight, October 17, 2013, and neither her or a Drees representative have contacted me and the debris still has not been cleaned up. I'm exhausted and sick of these multiple emails to resolve this repeated issue and therefore seeking the Revdex.com's assistance.Desired SettlementWe are demanding that the company clean up the muddy debris immediately. We also demand that we not be required to contact the company a third time or any additional times to request another clean up. If they cause any additional debris in the future, they need to assure it is cleaned up the same day. It would also be nice if Drees and the HOA representative would make a habit of following up on complaints. Even with the numerous complaints about this issue in the past, we are always having to make additional attempts to contact a company representative about the issue not being resolved by the original time frame given to us and this is very unacceptable.Business Response /[redacted]/We apologize that this has happened. It is my understanding that this area was cleaned yesterday. We will monitor this area better in the future and do our best to prevent this from happening again. We have also contacted the developer and asked them to monitor this area also.Final Consumer Response /[redacted]/The street has been cleaned and a company representative contacted me afterwards in regards to the issue. This issue has been resolved.
