I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint
Regards,

At this point, *** *** is just becoming aggressive and derogatory and wants to make it seem like Driver’s Auto Repair does not do business in a professional and upstanding way, which we doThe force with which she is reporting the incident at this point almost seems like a personal attack against our General ManagerWhen the vehicle came in, it was towed in because it would not startTherefore, the check engine light or any other series of problems could have been going on with the vehicle that Driver’s Auto Repair would have no knowledge of since the would not startNo vehicle repair shop can completely diagnose a vehicle that it cannot startAll work was done in good faith and discussed with the customer at lengthWe offer a fantastic warranty which the customer was not only made aware of but also encouraged to use and bring the vehicle back to find out the problem*** *** made the appointment to bring it back and then never showed upWe have no control over that, but it states clearly in the warranty section of the invoice, which was signed by the customer, that if they take the vehicle somewhere else, the warranty is voidWe cannot take the word of a competitor that there are other issues with the vehicleDriver’s Auto Repair is required to inspect it ourselvesIf *** *** did not feel comfortable taking it back to the Driver’s Auto Repair #***, we have other shops she could have taken it to and had the same warranty work doneWe cannot be held responsible for monies paid by *** *** to another shop without having first inspected the vehicle ourselves to see if there was anything we did wrong
By the tone and content of *** ***’s responses, she seemed to not trust the work from the moment she came into the shopIf that is the case, she could have taken her vehicle to another shop and had the work done there and not done any work with Driver’s Auto RepairThe last response had profanity and insults and didn’t really give any new information as to why she did not accept our resolutionAt this point, it does not seem like she wants to work to resolve the issue, just point the blame at Driver’s Auto RepairWe did the work in good faith and offered to work with herThe work was done and approved by the customerWe will not refund any money to *** ***, nor do we feel we have done anything wrong
We continue to be here to try to work towards a resolution, but we will not simply offer a refund because the customer is cursing and insulting us

The customer did not say any reason why they do not agree with our resolution so I have no idea how to respond back

The issue actually belongs to the shock absorber manufacturer for having a faulty product; I will accept the $service credit from *** *** if he will provide documentation to my email *** or mailed to my home address which he has on record. My frustration is not related to *** ***, but to his predecessor who over months repeatedly said he was addressing the issue, when it is clear he was not

Mr***s came in on *** because he was having issue with his batteryUpon checking the battery it tested badly, we also noticed that the old battery had been leaking acid all overI told Mr***s
that the battery along with one of the terminal, had to be changed and that we had to clean up the acid from all aroundI told him the cost of the battery and I explained that it would be a half hour of labor for the cleaning and to replace the terminalHe told me to do what we had to doI told him that once it was done we would retest the system to make sure everything was okI then asked if he would like a ride home while we got the work doneHe said yes and we took him homeCustomer stated to *** when he came to pick up his vehicle that he did not know that he was going to be charge labor*** told him that he was standing there when I told him it was going to be hour labor to do the addition workHe stated ok and paid the bill

Revdex.com:I have reviewed the response made
by the business in reference to complaint ID *** and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint. In my initial phone call to the business, right after I drove the vehicle home from their shop, I DID inform the manager that the car would not shift AND that there was a terrible "clunk" and then complete non shifting of the vehicle while on my `mile drive home. He told me to bring the vehicle back in the morning. My husband went down to the business and waited for it to open the following morning and told them the vehicle was not drivable. They told him they would send someone out to our home to "check it out." While I waited for them to show up or call, (I waited well over one hour), and I did not receive any call, I needed the vehicle and thus called for a tow to the dealership as it was apparent to me that my issue with Driver's was not their immediate concern. I received no other phone call from Driver's. While at the dealership they checked everything out and found that the oil had been way over filled and that the transmission fluid had been drained, nothing on the dip stick and nothing left to drain. They informed me when I picked the car up that I still could have problems with the transmission in the next few months. While the car is seven years old, it only has 26,miles on it and I have never had any problems with the vehicle. If within the next three months of average driving I have problems with the transmission I do believe that it will be a direct result of the negligence of Driver's. If after that time there is no further problem with the transmission then they have lucked out, but in the mean time, they are responsible for any transmission problems I may have in the near future. I did not ask for my money back from the money I paid them even though there was total negligence on their part, I only asked and received reimbursement for my additional expenses due to their negligence. I am still concerned regarding any problems with the transmission within the next three months and I feel if there are problems, it is a direct result of their negligence.

*** *** came in *** *** *** to have a power steering leak addressedThe power steering pump, high pressure hose, and return hose was replacedThe system was also flushed to remove any contaminates and replace fluid with newA new drive belt was also installed with no additional labor due to
the fact that it had to be removed during the repair to the power steering pump
*** *** returned on *** complaining of a whining noise while turning and also that there was a rattling noise when she turns on her ACFirst the technician visibly inspected the repairs that were completed in ***The technician did not find any leaks, and we did not duplicate a whining noiseNext the technician turned on the ACWhile the vehicle was in the shop we did notice that the tensioner began to jump with the extra loadWe checked her vent temperatures inside with a laser thermometer, and then checked the pressures with a pressure gaugeThe pressures on both the high side and the low side were well within specifications and the vent temperatures are within range as wellThe spring that applies the tension to the pulley and then keeps the proper tension on the belt is weakThey weaken over timeThis vehicle has *** miles on itIt is a failed component and needs to be replaced
*** ***’ vehicle has additional concernsThis is a component that was not replaced during the repair, and to suggest that we intentionally damaged this component is absurd
*** *** posted a complaint to our website and a representative of Driver’s Auto Repair contacted *** *** on *** *** was re-explained everything, She also agreed to bring in the Car on *** for us to perform the repairs on her vehicle at a slightly larger discount than previously offeredOriginal price was for $***Second offer was for $***The offer that she agreed to return, and have the work completed was for $*** for parts and labor to replace the drive belt tensioner assemblyShe did not show up for her appointmentThis is a fair estimate for the repairs needed, and all parts and labor that we install on vehicles come with an industry leading 3yr, 36,mile prorated limited warrantyOn her visit on *** we also arranged to have *** *** dropped off at work with our complimentary shuttle serviceWhen *** *** declined the repairs we did deliver the vehicle back to her place of employment so as to not further inconvenience herWe have locations throughout the *** Area and a great customer baseIf *** *** does not trust us, then we hope that she can find a facility that she does trust
The reduced price offer of $*** for parts and labor, tax included stands through *** *** ** ***
*** *** also has a Synchrony Financial (Formerly GE Capital) Line of Credit through their Car Care One Program that she applied for at Driver’s Auto RepairThe additional information that most customers do not realize is that Driver’s Auto Repair Pays the Interest on the Repairs that are financed through the programIt is interest free to the customer as long as they pay it off within the specified timeIn the case of the repairs completed in ***, $*** if spread over the months came out to be $*** per monthSaving *** *** Interest in the amount of at least $*** and in most cases $***

I have had my car examined by two reputable car repair
companies here in *** ** on *** & *** and they both say that my car
does not need a belt tensioner as Drivers Auto Repair has notedThe problem is
the AC compressor is going bad so another bad call on Drivers Auto again. I trusted in this Company and they are not to be trusted
They also advised me to replace my belt which was
another bad call by Drivers Auto. If I
had never gone to Drivers Auto, my car would not be in the shape that it is in
now. Yes, I do have a lot of miles on my
car but typically you can drive an *** about 300,miles, it was a good running car before bringing it to Drivers Auto for a small leak in my power steering back in ***, which by the way cost me $*** with the belt. Just like the other car repairmen have stated
the compressor generally does not go bad on a car unless something has been done to
it
Drivers Auto suggested that I receive their credit
card so that they can continue to gouge me and since the service in *** my car
has not run the same. I will now have to
get a new car sooner because of their service. They have not saved me money but have cost me thousands of dollars
