Let me start by apologizing that this situation occurred. As you know we do take customers very seriously and we are very upset that this company went out of business. We did check them out and we were told they were insurance backed. It appears the information was
dishonest that we were given. It also was a very bad time in the U.Safter all companies like GM and Chrysler went out of business as well. I also want to apologize that you were not notified by my staff before now. We notified customers to give them an opportunity to cancel/use their extended warranty so they could recoup some of their money. Obviously they missed you and for that I am very sorry. I would like to point out that we do not own that company, had no ownership or any management of the company. We cannot control that they went out of business and had no idea it was coming or would have done something. We have been trying to secure monies from them for our customers but have been unsuccessful to this point. If we ever have any success we would of course notify you. Finally, because you are important to us I would like to offer you $off any future RV purchase or $store credit. I wish there was more we could do, but there isn't Please again, know we feel terrible and are sorry this happened. Unfortunately it is out of our control

Again, very sorry you were missed in the first round of notifications. We were under no obligations to contact customers, but felt it was the right thing to do and have even decided to do so a second time because our customers mean so much to us. Unfortunately, I cannot refund you the full amount. If I were to do so for every customer we would go out of business. Also, we covered this fee with *** out of our pocket and did so as a plus to our customers, so the good news is you did not pay for it. I am sorry they went out of business but it was out of our control. We don't own them or run their company. I can offer you the $in a check if you would prefer and if you are not interested in rv parts or accessories. Let me know if that is of interest to you. Many thanks-

Anyway, we started having warranty issues the 2nd weekend after we received this camper, which was the roof leak but at the time didn’t realize it was a leak.I have enclosed some of the paper trail relating to the run around we’ve received at DurnellsI have encountered nothing but deceit and passing the buck on the dealer level and now the manufacture level.I filed a complaint with the Ohio Attorney Generals office on 3-25-17, they in turn contacted Forest River builder of said camperWho contacted me on 3-28-by a Scott H***The following day by a Warren M***, see enclosed, and then on 4-13-by a Marshall H*** who claimed to be plant manager at Forest River, Sandpiper Division. He told me he would be personally handling this issue, that he would be the only person I would need to be speaking withThat he fully understands the work needing doneThat all warranty work would be done under his personal supervision, that the roof would come off, the insulation replaced, the back wall would be replaced due to delamination due to roof leakingAnd that it would come back with a year warrantyThe would pick up & bring back the camperHe absolutely guaranteed my satisfaction. The following day 4-14, Dave D*** called me, first contact form himAnd he elaborated as to what he was going to do on the corporate endAnd that he has been in contact with themThe fellas I talked to hadn’t heard a word from D***s.They did come get my camperMarshall H*** disappeared from F.R They are not going to repair as he statedBasically a white wash job.Our concern is mold in the attic area in between the walls and the delaminated fiberglass back wall, all caused by the leaking vents, which they replaced.I purchased a warranty from RV Wholesalers/D***sThey advertise nationwide service, and never once in over emails, countless phone calls ever connected me with a provider to take of warranty issues.Hence my complaintWe have a permanete camp site sitting emptyI’m paying on a camper that is in IndianaAnd have now rented one to fill my site.I have much documentation regarding this run-a-round I have received. This could have all been avoided if they actually backed up what they claim they have and sellWhy should it take from April 5, till March to even get startedAnd not completed as stated it would be.Sincerely,*** ***###-###-####P.S Please let me know that you have received this. Thanks

Please let me know what the cost of Air unit they put inWas it new or used? I believe it was told to me by there GM that it was less than please verify that I think they could have it shipped back to them RVWTo help resolve I would be willing to help with that if reasonable. And that a Heartland deal;er will be doing that work. The dealer closest to me would be ***

I am rejecting this response because Mr*** does not understand the complaintI was willing to wait the yearsMy understanding is that the company that provided the money back guarantee is out of business so if I had waited the years I would have received nothingThis way I will receive half of what I was promisedI believe RV Wholesalers had a responsibility to let their customers know that the company ( Gramercy ) had gone out of businessI went to great lengths making small repairs myself in full belief I would get my full investment back
Also, as usual Revdex.com is half hearted about their jobIt takes a long time to get any response at all other than a canned message by emailAnd then they think a short typed "good news" message from Mr*** should put the whole matter to rest whether the customer is satisfied or notGreat job everybody, I sure you are all happy
Regards,

Business should be required to honor the signed agreementBusiness was not truthful with respect to returning the refundTwo mistakes made by them should have not let them out of the agreement

I am not sure why we are still talking with the Revdex.com as we have already resolved this matter. We have apologized and we have already guaranteed the winterization and have offered to cover any damage in the spring. We love our customers and want them all happy and that is why Brad has worked this out with you. I have attached the letter that was sent to you as proof of our commitment to you and your issue

We have already offered the customer to do all the work at no charge for him if he returns the unit to us. Simply bring the unit back to us as we offered and we will make the changes that you are requesting at no charge to you. Thank you-

I am rejecting this response because: This guy is telling an outright lieI have a receipt for $that they charged me for thisI have researched this on the internet, One newspaper article says that the dealers paid $for this , another says they paid up to $They in turn sold them to their customers for $to $3000.00 Let's say he paid as much as $and they charged me $2200.00, that's $profit, for a worthless piece of paperHow does he figure he paid $out of his profits and it didn't cost me anything? If he wants to resolve this, make me a realistic offer and stop insulting meJust for the record, my next complaint will be with the FBII have found complaints about this company dating back to early 2009, before I bought my camperYet Durnell's kept selling this scamThis got was not caught up in the recession, it was an outright scam and I believe Durnell's knew it

Mr*** I want to clarify something with you. The reason the price went up is we pass the money the bank gives us for completing a loan on your behalf to you. When you refuse the loan then the bank does not pay us anything so we have nothing to pass
to you. Simply put how do I give you what the bank is not giving to me? The quick answer is we cannot. Also, this has been explained in great detail to each and every one of our customers so they understand the HUGE discount they are getting is coming from the bank. Also, the interest rate is decided by the bank and not by RVWholesalers. I understand you were frustrated with the interest rate, but again, we don't decide it. Finally, all the paperwork you signed clearly states that deposits are not refundable. We do have an approval for you with a bank if you want to proceed of 5.75% which is a great rate for an RV. RV Loans are much different than automobile or house loans. Let me know if you want to proceed with the deal we are happy to take care of you. I also would not put your interest rates in forums like this as it is no ones business. For privacy reasons I am not posting the documents here or attaching them, but I can forward those copies to you that clearly states deposits are not refundable. Let me know what else I can do for you and have a great day- ***

First of all let me apologize for this turn of events. Unfortunately during the great recession many businesses including Chrysler and GM two of the worlds biggest companies went out of business. The company that you purchased a potential refund from if you did not
use your extended warranty also went out of business. The good news is it did not cost you any thing, we took the money from our profits in order to help our customers out who did not use their extended warranties. I do not own, control, or have any ability to control what this company did or did not do. I cannot get you a refund as they are out of business and there is no recourse nor was their any recourse for you or I. Believe me we tried to secure money through channels from this company to try and get something for our customers, there was nothing there.
Again, I hate that this happened, because something we did as a good will gesture for our customers out of our pockets has people very upset with us. I wish there was something more I could do but there is not. What I will do for you however, is offer you $off any future RV purchase.
Again, very sorry and I hope you have a great day-

It appears that the mistakes on the part of RVing Solutions continueTheir response to you of 1-15-says they will be willing to honor the original contract, now they say noThey did refund my monies, but not timely or within the days they said they wouldIt appears that they change their business practices and policy as they want toWhat are consumers to believe from these peopleBeing in California puts me at a disadvantage to pursue this furtherHopefully you will post all of this on your website as a warning to consumers to be very cautious if they feel a need to deal with this company Thanks-

I want to start by apologizing to you for the misunderstanding. Your extended service agreement provider never went out of business and they are still in business right now. *** was simply the company that would provide a refund if you never had a claim on your trailer, still own the
trailer and still have the extended service agreement in effect (did not cancel it). We paid for the *** policy out of our funds, you were not charged for it and it was done as a favor to our customers. We are in the process of notifying our customers for a second time that *** went out of business as we have learned many were not notified the first time, they were missed somehow. So I want to apologize that you must have been missed? However with that being said, the refund is not coming even if you apply, however, please know we are very sorry this happened, but it was out of our control. We do not own *** and did not control them. That being said, we would like to offer you a choice of the following showing you we do care and appreciate your business. 1. $parts credit through our store which includes free shipping within the continental US. or $off a new RV. let me know which you prefer and thank you again for your time and sorry again this happened. Attached is a letter that describes it even better. Thanks-

My name is *** *** and I am the business manager with RVING SOLUTIONS. I am attaching proof of full refund to Mr***. Mr*** contacted us to buy a service contract on his unit and sortley after him giving payment for the service contract we had noticed that the price was incorrect based the rate sheets be incorrectly entered onto our calculations on the website. Also we found out shortly there after that per California Law I cannot legally sell a post sale service contract to a customer in California. We have politly and expeditiosly informed Mr*** of this, then very promptly refunded him his money. Please let me know if you have any further questions. Thank you very much for your time!!!

I am not accepting this response are any other until I receive all of the missing parts to the bed and couch set up

Forest River contacted me last FridayThey say they are going to take the camper to a 3rd party for evaluation and if there is a problem, to have it resolved.D***s have been of no helpHe has just been playing a delaying game.He claims to talk to FR, but they have no knowledge of it.I have spoken with council and pending the companies report/action, we may take legal action. So, that being said, I don't believe mediation is a course for us

Brad is going to call you and work this out real quick. Sound good to us! Thanks and we appreciate your business

The customer is getting a pro rated refund from Protective. He originally filed because the company that would give him 100% of his money back if he never used it and kept both the vehicle and his contract for five years went out of business. However, he simply does not qualify for the full refund. It has not been five years and he has sold his coach. So I suggested and he did file a cancellation and is not getting back the pro rated amount. I offered to waive the cancellation fee of $that is charged so he gets the full pro rated amount from Protective. Sorry for the delay in answering we were at a funeral for my uncle. Hope this clarifies things-

Mr***, as you know all of our paperwork clearly states deposits are non refundable if you are approved for financing of the unitYou were approved for the trailer and also at a Tier A rate from the bankWe happily let you out of the deal and will hold your deposit for months for you should
you decide to buy in that time frameThanksBrad J***

*** You were originally coming here to pick up and had the unit in your grandmother's name and she was not traveling with you. Obviously she would have to sign the paperwork since it is in her name. If you would have signed her name that would be fraud. Then we were sending
the paperwork to her but again, you decided again to cancel the unit. It went back and forth, you calling in, your father calling in, cancelling and then taking the unit back and forth. We even installed heated holding tanks and an enclosed underbelly for you and now you cancel again and we are stuck with that bill. Long story short, we have chose to not pursue any monies from you for the extra work we did and we have let you out of the deal. You your self mention the deposits are not refundable and all of the paperwork clearly notes that it is not refundable. Thank you for sticking to our agreement, you agreed we keep the deposit and we agreed to let you out of the deal and not charge you for the sealed and heated underbelly.David
