Please consider this letter a response to the complaint filed on May 4, 2016 regarding your Checkingaccount with First National Bank of Pennsylvania(FNB). Prior to the conversion date of the acquiredBank of America ( BOA)Branches in September of 2015, FNB mailed detailed information to theFormer BOA...

customers in a letter including the following information:We recommend that you print or save your past account statements, any pending transfers or billpayments, as well as bill payment payees from BOA. The communication also included instructionsfor customers that chose not to be included in the conversion to FNB.Post Conversion your checking account reflected activity including internet transfers from a savingsaccount to the checking account, utility payments, as well as several debit card transactions. OnSeptember 24, 2015 as referenced by you, a pay pal transaction was initiated bringing the account to azero balance. The same day, American Education services debited $102.91 from the account. Uponresearch being completed, there was no evidence that FNB received an affidavit disputing thetransaction as unauthorized. This transaction caused the account to become negative, and subsequentfees were assessed according to FNB's overdraft policy. The account remained with a negativebalance until November 13, 2015 at which time it was charged off and sent to collections. If you would like to discuss this matter further please contact me at your convenience .###-###-####

I have not been contacted by phone from anyone representing FNB. I did receive the letter. In response to the letter I have sent a money order for $10.00 to the Reading address, care of Mr. B[redacted]. The money order should have reached his office by now. I am in agreement with the response as long as no further action occurs and the account is closed. Please respond letting me know you have received the money order and no further action will be required and I will agree to close this complaint.

[redacted]Revdex.com Case# [redacted] Dear Mrs. [redacted],Please accept this letter in response to the complaint that you filed with the Revdex.com (Revdex.com) on January 9, 2018, regarding your checking account...

with First National Bank of Pennsylvania (FNB).On January 8, 2018, you contacted FNB's Customer Service Center via telephone to update the address on your checking account. You were informed of how to change your address via mail, by sending a written request, including a copy of your driver's license with the updated address and your signature. You were also advised of the negative balance in your checking account. You explained that there were unauthorized charges on your account that you would like to dispute. To protect the security of customer accounts, FNB is unable to send account information, including completed dispute forms, to a new address for thirty days after an address change. On January 16, 2018, a blank dispute form (enclosed for reference) was emailed to you at the address on file for your checking account, [redacted]. with instructions to complete the form and mail it to the North Second Street Branch to facilitate the dispute process. On January 17, 2018, Laurie K[redacted], Branch Manager of the North Second Street Branch, spoke with you via telephone to confirm receipt of the dispute form. You indicated that you had received the form and would mail it to North Second Street Branch, [redacted], to Ms. K[redacted]'s attention. We apologize for any inconvenience this issue has caused you and hope this response to your complaint meets your satisfaction. While this communication is intended to present the facts of the situation, we would also like to express our appreciation for your business and our hope that you will continue to allow us to serve your financial needs.Sincerely,Susan D[redacted]Vice President, Market Manager Capital Region First National Bank

We have received a copy of your communication from the Revdex.com regarding the statusof your account number ending in 3137.Upon reviewing your account, we have found the following:On October 2, 2015, the balance in your account ending in 3137 was $696.30, on this same day a $300ATM...

withdraw occurred along with a Well Fargo debit for $640.18, this left the account with a negativebalance of -243.88. The ATM gave you a positive balance because the $640.18 debit had not clearedyour account yet. We recommend keeping track of your account activity with a check register. I haveincluded the Deposit Account Agreement for First National Bank and a Checking Account Register foryour convenience.Although this was not a bank error, as a courtesy, we have credited your account for the amount of theOverdraft Fee ($37).Have you considered, attaching a savings account to your checking account or applying for our QuickCash Account as a cash reserve, if you qualify, this may prevent future overdrafts from occurring. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to call me at ###-###-####.Sincerely,Assistant Branch Manager

Revdex.com Case# [redacted]Dear Mr. F[redacted],Please accept this letter in response to the complaint that you filed with the Revdex.com (Revdex.com) on March 8, 2018, regarding your charged-off checking account at First National Bank of Pennsylvania (FNB).On July 5, 2016, Angela P[redacted],...

Assistant Branch Manager of the Grandview Office, sent you the enclosed email notifying you of your account status, which included the current printed statement (enclosed for reference). Ms. P[redacted] advised you that your account had maintained a negative balance for 14 days. You responded that there were some transactions you did not recognize and would rectify the situation immediately. You also requested that your debit card be closed and requested a new one. Ms. P[redacted] advised you that while your debit card could be closed, a new card could not be ordered due to the negative balance of your checking account There is no evidence of a discussion regarding a dispute of the unrecognized transactions or a refund of any overdraft fees. Further, FNB has no record that you contacted us to dispute the transactions or request an overdraft fee refund on or around the date of the email correspondence mentioned above. On August 9, 2016, your checking account was charged-off after maintaining a negative balance for more than forty-five days. On August 10, 2016, your account was sent to AAS Debt Recovery Incorporated (AAS) for collection. On February 20, 2018, you called Ms. P[redacted] via telephone regarding your charged-off checking account. Ms. P[redacted] advised you that the account had been sent to AAS for collection and provided their phone number, [redacted], for contact. On February 22, 2018, you called Ms. P[redacted], stating that AAS advised you to contact FNB regarding the charged-off account. During that conversation, you advised Ms. P[redacted] that you felt that your checking account was charged-off due to unauthorized charges and believed you had requested a refund for the charges in July of 2016. Ms. P[redacted] explained that FNB's policy is to advise our customers to file a dispute for unauthorized charges, that we occasionally ask that a police report be filed, and that at the time, you did not request a dispute or refund of overdraft fees. As of the date of this letter, no dispute has been filed for the suspected unauthorized charges, nor has any request to refund overdraft fees been received. On March 16, 2018, your charged-off checking account was re-evaluated by FNB's Deposit Operations Department, per your request. It was determined that due to the amount of the collection, which is under $10.00, FNB would remove your checking account from collections with AAS and from ChexSystems. Please accept this letter as a confirmation that your charged-off checking account has been removed from all collection activity with AAS and ChexSystems as of March 16, 2018.This communication is intended to present the facts of the situation and we hope this response to your complaint meets your satisfaction.Sincerely,Alison S[redacted] Market Manager Northwest Region First National Bank

The next communication with [redacted] was by letter datedDecember 5, 2015 and received December 9, 2015 requesting that the account be closed. Upon thereceipt of the letter, the account showed a negative balance as the presentments (electronic payments)were honored by FNB with insufficient funds in the account to cover them. Multiple attempts to reachyou by phone were unsuccessfifl at your place of business, and messages were left with officepersonnel, as well as on your personal voice mail that identified you as such in an effort to resolve therequest to close the account and bring the account to a zero balance. The account showed a balance of$-681.91. The next interaction with an FNB colleague occurred when you frequented the BerkshireMall office of FNB on January 20, 2016 to discuss the status of your checking account. You had beennotified by letter that the account had been charged off. The account balance was $-681.91 which wascomprised of items paid on your behalf by FNB as well as insufficient funds fees that had beenassessed. You left the branch agreeing to pay the hems paid on your behalf but did not agree to pay thefees to clear the collection item. A subsequent call was made to FNB call center with yourdissatisfaction. Please check your [redacted] records as they would have beenobligated to credit your account back $236.79. The credit should have occurred on or aroundMay 4. In order to resolve this matter, you will need to submit $236.79 toFirst National Bank.I can certainly understand your confusion in this matter and do apologize for the inconvenience. It would appear that [redacted] did not initiate your request in a timely manner to avoid this situationUnder your contract, you are obligated to return these funds back to First National Bank. April 20, 2018[redacted]Revdex.com Case#: [redacted] Dear Mr. [redacted],Please accept this letter in response to the complaint that you filed with the Revdex.com (Revdex.com) on April 18, 2018, regarding release of your boat and trailer titles...

following the payoff of your loan ending in [redacted] with First National Bank of Pennsylvania (FNB).On April 3, 2018, funds were received that satisfied your loan ending in [redacted]. In accordance with FNB policy and procedure your payoff funds were held for ten (10) business days prior to releasing the lien. The title for your trailer was in the possession of FNB and was mailed to you on April 17, 2018. The title for your boat, [redacted] is an electronically held title in the state of Florida. On or before April 24, 2018, your lien release will be processed by the state of Florida and you will be able to request a paper copy of the title. FNB would be happy to request this on your behalf; however, this would further delay your receipt of the paper title, To best meet your needs, FNB has enclosed a list of centers that are able to provide same-day title services, as well as a cashier's check made payable to you to cover the cost of this service,Because FNB was notified of a bankruptcy filed on your behalf, your loan was handled solely by our collections area to ensure compliance with bankruptcy law. For this reason, you were directed to our Collections Department when you called to inquire about your loan. We apologize for any confusion this may have caused. We hope this response to your complaint meets your satisfaction.Sincerely,Robert F[redacted]Manager of Document Services Loan Operations First Nationa

Customer Response Letter Attached

Revdex.com,I completed and uploaded the privacy form you requested to this response.I also uploaded 2 of my personal documents as well.  One I believe is a copy of the signed release you are looking for and the other is the bill from July which lists past due as older then 6/3/16 and current up to 7/5/16.  My purchase was made on 6/9/14 and according to their own bill's current and past due date range this would be the current month for the 2 year pay off.  On the bottom it has the expiration date of 6/9/16 which would occur during this month's billing period.  How cant they say I didn't pay the balance off in time if their own bill says that date is still current and in the billing cycle 2 year window of the purchase date?  Something doesn't seem right as this is deceiving towards myself and any costumer that is paying a bill monthly.  Are the dates purposely set up to confuse the customer?Thank you,[redacted]
