I recently completed my fourth DVC point purchase with Shontell and her company : DVC BY RESALE. It was a delight working with DVC by Resale. They were upfront with all terms and conditions, and provided excellent guidance in how to price our DVC points. We quickly sold three contracts, at a profit! That never happens with timeshares! They really know the market.
Their website is kept fresh, and free from irrelevant clutter.

Selling our DCV property was a difficult decision for us, but after making the initial decision the second decision was how to go about it. Naturally in 2018 when you are looking to do something you know nothing about, you turn to the internet, and in our case we turned to ***. There we found Shontell and DVCbyResale, who were a guest on a "How to sell *** Vacation Club" video hosted by Jen L. After watching this video and a couple of other related videos in the same range of topics, I knew that I found what I was looking for. I showed the videos to my wife, and she agreed...this was the person we wanted to handle our sale. I reached out to Shontell and she was exactly the person she was in the videos that we had watched, answered all of our questions, and was in constant contact with us throughout the entire process. I have no reservations recommending Shontell and her entire team to help you through your sale or perhaps your purchase of a DVC property.

The owner of this establishment refused to honor a written pledge in her sign up the process. This pledge was offered to match any competitors commission in writing. I submitted a Revdex.com A+ rated-competitor written agreement to a commission for listing and selling my timeshare. Under FEES TO SELL on her web site sign up process is written, "There are no upfront fees! Standard commission in the industry is 10% but by completing the documents today, you can take advantage of our limited time 8% reduced commission. That's a 20% savings! Furthermore, If you happen to find a competitor offering a lower commission (in writing) we will match it and beat it by 1/2 percent!A written copy of the lower commission from the competitor must be provided within 24 hours of completing these forms. I submitted in writing proof from an A+ Revdex.com rated-competitor who put in writing his commission was 4.5%. When I submitted this paperwork, I received an email from the owner dated Jan 19, 2019 at 6:20 PM that stated,"Hi Matt,
I received your phone messages but I am traveling this weekend. I will be able to follow up with you Monday morning.
Kind regards,
Shontell"
I followed up with Ms. C and identified the Revdex.com A+ RATED BUSINESS

I received an email dated Jan 23 11:45 AM That was written stating, " With all due respect, the company you referenced has had rumors of: no longer in business, agents leaving, unresponsive to any inquiries, etc.
We don't consider them worth competing with, to be honest. If you feel they can best represent you, feel free to work with them instead of us. When you aren't pleased or feel we can do a better job, it would be my pleasure to work with you at our standard commission which is 1/2 percent lower than most of the brokers out there."
I left several phone messages for this owner and she decided she was not going to honor the written agreement.
This blatant deception is over $1000 in commission. I never have found more unprofessional business ethics, yet she was perfectly fine disparaging another Revdex.com accredited competitor.I have complete documentation to support my complaint. for review Thank you
This review was written by someone who was belligerent and disrespectful when we communicated on the telephone. After reviewing his communication, our board chose not to do business with him based on a few things: 1. He was clearly working with at least 3 or 4 other brokers. If he was satisfied with them, there was no reason to utilize our services. 2. He misrepresented himself on *** as an entirely different person who runs a similar business (DVC rental) 3. His communication was threatening and bullying from the beginning. Since then, as you can see from the review above, he seems to have nothing better to do than bully and bad mouth our company even though he told us how many competitors he was using. He already posted a negative review on *** and our last communication with him was over a month ago. In all honesty, we believe he is partnered with a competitor and this has become his mission to discredit us. He either has too much time on his hands or he has never been told, "No, thank you. We prefer you take your business elsewhere." We have been in business 18 years and stand by our treatment of thousands upon thousands of very happy clients. Clients we enjoy working with and choose to do so because they appreciate us as much as we appreciate them. Our organization has chosen not to do business with Mr. Matt G now, or in the future. We would caution anyone else considering the same based on the fact that we did not do business with him and this is his behavior.
I appealed privately to the owner I am attempting to resolve this personally and doing so without notice nor commotion but instead out of the public eye.. by corresponding in January It appears your company is in a unique position to market and list and assist me with renting my timeshare. Especially with your open spot for 200 pt BWV rentals.Ã? I cannot force an American businesswoman like yourself to process my listing. However, I am appealing to you to reevaluate this discontinuity between your stated fees policy and your offer of Full 8.5% commission I am attempting to work out a solution for both of us. I completely respect your right to choose not to the accept my listing, however, I hope a compromise on the commission rate for listing since the disqualification Of DVCMagic was arbitrary. and not disclosed in writing. on your sign up sheet. Kindly tell me If you can post my listing at a fee somewhere in between 4.5 % and 8.5%Then I can go away and feel good about Jen's review on ***

As the bullying tactics continue, our Board's decision NOT to do business with the poster is being positively reinforced. Hopefully, he can find satisfaction elsewhere.
