Sorry for the mile long review but I was relied on the reviews on here to find a good contractor and now I want to payback by sharing my experience with Marcello, David and Dynasty InnovationsDavid is one of the three contractors that we called for a quoteHis professionalism impressed us from the initial meetingHis quote came back not the cheapest but we think it was reasonable and it was breakdown thoroughly and very details which convinced us he knew his work very wellOur project included repainting the whole house, installing recessed lighting, tiling the kitchen & laundry room's floor, gutted and renovated master bathroom, converted a covered attached patio to office (installing new windows, new door, painting, etc..), replacing front doorWe ran into several issues during the project with plumbing and wiring and AC when we opened up the walls etcbut David was always quick and efficient on suggesting solutions and what best to do to solve these issuesWe off course had a *** plan in our heads and some drawings of what we wanted but Edward their in house designer was a please to work with and helped us hone in on our inspirationWe're very happy with his crews as wellWe both work during the day and just left the back door open for them to work for almost a month and we didn't have any issueWe moved out though since the entire house was a construction zoneDavid updated us regularly and extremely responsive to our texts and phone calls as well as meeting with usDavid also provided some free of charge services for us being the nice customer, yay, it was such a nice surpriseWe incurred additional charges of course but it was due to additional things we wanted to add in along the wayDavid also helped us saved a lot of money by recommending a lot of discounted vendors for materialsFor example the front door would have costed us thousands of dollars if we buy at regular vendor but we were able to get it for such a good priceHis custom glass crew also saved us a ton of money on our shower doorsWe were nervous since this is the first time we concurred such big project for our house but David made it go so smoothly and we're very pleased with the resultI'm very picky and grew up with my Dad having a construction company back in Wisconsin so I had very high expectations nonetheless I'm confident to say David and his crews would earn my Dad's approvalWe will for sure come back to David and Dynasty Innovations for future projectsIn fact we already asked him for a quote to do work at our rental property

Dynasty Innovations turned a fixer upper into our dream homeThe work they did consisted of removing a shear wall, kitchen remodel (including plumbing, electrical relocation, installation of appliances, sink, fixtures and cabinets), remove suspended ceiling, move of HVAC ducts, re-frame and installation of foot exterior and interior doors, removal and re-installation of crown molding, and some paintingBasically, the whole first floor was gutted down to the studs and redoneMarcello, Jerry and their team are honest and trustworthySince we both work during the day, we had no problem and were comfortable not being at the site while they workedThis was very important to us since we couldn't afford to lose time off from workThey had a great working relationship with the building inspectors every step of the wayJerry was always onsite and took care of everything like working with the other contractors (plumbing, electrical, HVAC, structural engineer, etc)They completed the project in the time-frame that was estimatedJerry worked through unexpected issues without revising the change orderHe is so meticulous with his work and is a perfectionistThere was nothing that had to be redone or where they had to come back to fixThings were done right the first timeIt was so nice to see that the work site was swept free of dirt and dust at the end of the dayHis crew never left without cleaning up so we never walked into a messMarcello & Jerry were very easy to work withAs someone who isn't familiar with construction lingo I felt very comfortable calling and talking to himIt was as if he knew that if I wasn't happy, nobody will be happyLolHis team – Randy and Robert - were very professional, personable, respectful, prompt, and hardworkingWe are very happy with our renovation and have been enjoying our home each dayThank You Dynasty Innovations! This review is long overdue, but better late than never!
I moved to the area about year ago now, and purchased a houseEverything was going great until about month after purchase, my husband decided to take a long shower in the upstairs master bath That's when I noticed drips of water coming from the kitchen ceiling! It turns out that my shower had been rather poorly built, and the shower pan had started to leak However, this is no ordinary shower, it's an enormous custom tiled walk in shower After speaking to several contractors, I decided to go with Dynasty Innovations for the repair and remodel I am so grateful that I did!
Dynasty Innovations made what is often a nightmare scenario as easy as possible They had all the material delivered to my house, their guys were always on time, and the shower turned out incredible! Much nicer than the original shower I literally could not have been happier with the finished product We will be calling them again when we are ready for our kitchen upgrade, GREAT work Dynasty Innovations!

Our experience with Dynasty was one of the most professionally satisfying experiences we've ever hadAfter designing and building no less than four homes as we traversed the country, first in the Navy and then in civilian life, we like to think we learned something about good design, permitting and construction practicesThe professionals at Dynasty have, in our mind, re-defined the standard of excellence for us

Many know, at least intuitively if not by experience, that the most important part of any construction project is the foundationIf it isn't plumb and square then nothing else that follows will be eitherSure, a good framing crew can cover up foundation mistakes, but that wasn't the case hereThe foundation was perfect (I had it independently checked)And the framing crew? Absolutely the very best I've ever had the pleasure of working on any of my aforementioned four homesI can say the same for the electrician, mason, painter and on and onI learned long ago you can tell a lot about a company and in this case a construction team by how clean they keep the construction 'zone' during the day and how they leave it at the end of the dayNot only is it a sign of pride they have in their work, but it is an indicator of how the workers think about their own safety and that of the homeownerOn our last home project, I had to 'get after' the company owner several times for the project not meeting my safety and cleanliness standardsFor this project, I never had to make that call
As I told Michael , his subcontractors, many of whom have been with him for several years (which is almost unheard of in this business) are his competitive advantage over all the other build/design firms in ChicagoTruth be told, we don't refer to the team that worked on our project as subcontractors; to us they were no less than expert craftsmen
Did the project go perfectly, without flaws? Of course notI've never had a home build go perfectly, but this one was closer than all the othersMichael was active, engaged and committed to making it rightOne of the mistakes was, admittedly oursWe went with a cheaper tile only to have to agree late in the project we were wrongThey were great about replacing it

Dynasty Innovations Kitchen & Bath Remodeling exceeded my expectations in every way When my fiancé and I bought our first house, we were thrilled with everything about itexcept the main bathroom It was pink AND salmon (both) with somewhat random black accent tiles with a pink/salmon/black mosaic floor It really needed to go I called pretty much the day Dynasty Innovations Kitchen & Bath Remodeling we closed on the house Marcello was very prompt in returning my call when I first left a message (I was up super early when I called and left a message, but I heard back later that morning) He then scheduled a visit to come see the bathroom within a couple of days, gave me a quote, and scheduled for them to start at his earliest availability
Everyone who worked on the project arrived early or on time, worked super hard, and were very friendly Randy in particular, was friendly, helpful, and a total perfectionist about the work being done The man who did the reglazing of the tub (unfortunately, I don't remember his name) but he was very friendly and communicative about the process, and routinely kept me updated about the progress and how long it would take- and I wasn't even asking!

Yesterday marked the completion of our project with the Dynasty Innovations, It was a big project and we are very happy with the outcomeThere are many episodes happened in the process - remodeling is a big daunting task, and you need the best professionals standing on your sideWe are very happy that we chose Dynasty Innovations as our general contractor (especially Marcello)
We started the remodeling project with extensive research on general contractorsWe interviewed greater than contractorsSome were expensive, some were rude, some were too good to be true, some said to get back to us in two weeksWhen Marcello showed up, we had very good chemistry to begin withHe really took ownership in the project, and when we tested which cabinet / counter top / floor he would like to use, he picked exactly what we were thinking just a day ago - it was amazingWe signed contract right on site
The first thing Dynasty Innovations impressed us was the speedWhile other contractors estimated it need about months to finish everything, Marcello promised to get everything done within 4-weeks, and the most time consuming part was to wait for the custom cabinetryThe subsequent events proved their efficiency - it took week to do the demo of kitchen and master bath, installation of flooring, painting, electrical, all happens at lightning speed without compromise of qualityIf you are in a situation where you want to move out of rental and move in as soon as possible - call MarcelloThey put a lot of folks on site, and they are all very nice and easy to work with
It's very common to have the outcome different from what you expect during the project - nothing is perfectDynastys response is always - 'I'll take care of it'(I can already mimic with his accent now)He rarely argues it can't be changed, but rather, get to fix things right awayI would text him certain things we would like to change, and next morning 8am his guy is already workingFor example, there was one tile in the bathroom, the initial installation was a little bit unevenI told Marcello and he asked his men to replace that piece immediatelyIt looked nice until one night, we found the color of the replacement tile looked very different from the rest, made it look like a patch at night - but during the day they all looked identical! This is probably because of a manufacture issue, and when I told Marcello he asked his men to change it right awayThat tile need to be cut to fit the trim of the door and it's not trivial task, and he never arguedThere were many other small things (laundry lists) we asked Dynasty to help and he delivered allWe were very happy
Finally - the long story about counter topWhen Marcello ordered the countertop we liked, it was out of stockWe really liked that one and Marcello fought with the regional owner and eventually got us a special shipment of the specific stoneWhich was what threw us out of our time frame by weeks
Finally - remodeling is indeed a big undertakingWe are very happy to have Dynasty Innovations on our side build a place where we could call our lovely homeGive them a call - and I am pretty sure you will love to work with these great people ! :)

We originally just hired them to do a bathroom remodel but in the process of doing the bathroom we found a great kitchen design we loved. We asked Dynasty Innovations if they would give us a deal for both since they already started in the bathroom and it was coming along nice. They actually gave me almost 3,000 off the estimates we got last year for something similar in the kitchen. Now I got a brand new kitchen and bathroom and their beautiful.

We have been thinking about remodeling our master bathroom for around 5 years, Unsure of which style we were going to settle on, we called a company our friend used to renovate their home last year. We met with Marcello, Which somewhat relieved us as he was also the project manager for our friends home. Marcello met with us throughout the construction phase and helped finalize paint colors and small placements of things. After the first week we became very comfortable with the construction and kind of forgot it was going on, other than having to use our guest bath. It took a little over 3 weeks to complete the construction phase, I couldn't believe it was ready. Finishing on a Friday we took our first shower the next morning, I must say it was amazing, it literally felt like a spa! The amount of storage and the fluid functionality of this bathroom still amaze my husband and I. Marcello and his crews are remarkable, I definitely will be using them for our next project.

I'll start by saying when dealing with construction companies in Chicago you really don't know what your going to get and was definitely frustrating getting estimates from multiple companies.

Dynasty stood out and was truly personable from the start which made me feel comfortable right off the bat.

My husband and I just bought our first home all while just having our newborn baby so we were really excited to start remodel and move in already!

Marcello (who runs the business) patiently went over everything with us while in our home to go over what we wanted. He was very patient and had some great ideas!

After signing the contract, their crew started working on our house 2 days later.

We did everything from removing carpets and adding wood floors throughout, new interior paint, custom wood & glass railing in the living room, adding lattice details, framing, opening up walls to make the space bigger, remodeling a bathroom, making a couple of changes in the kitchen, and had some small repairs on the roof along with removing some mold from 2 ceilings.

My husband and I came by the house a couple of times and everything seemed to be taken care of which made us feel so at ease. Even the little things like covering all the light fixtures and putting plastic over the tile to protect it. Marcello his crew were extremely nice and seemed to move along fairly quickly while doing a great job! I have never seen a contractor work so quickly yet so thoroughly paying attention to detail. He even did a couple of extra things for us that weren't on the contract and didn't charge us extra for it.

We moved into our beautiful home a month and half later. We couldn't believe it was our home and are truly moved by the workmanship that was done.

I highly recommend this company as everything went so smoothly all along the way with no problems. They are very reliable and trustworthy.

We gathered a few referrals from friends to find a contractor for a major remodeling project on our home.

After meeting with 3 companies, my wife and I felt the most comfortable with Marcello's personable approach and professionalism.

His Architect joined us for our next meeting and designed the whole floor plan and explained all the ins and outs.

The process started in late October, and by December 1st their team of architects and engineers had plans stamped and approved by the city.

The project included adding 2,500sqft, relocating the kitchen into the addition, knocking down load bearing walls to expand the living and dining rooms, a second story addition, remodeling 3 bathrooms completely, a new roof, new floors, painting both exterior and interior and replacing all windows and doors.

Like any major project, changes were made along the way and a few hick ups arose, but everything was taken care of promptly and courteously.

Workers were here every day and did great work at a great pace. The office always updated us on the progress and answered our every question.

Marcello will always promptly take care of your every concern, and Bart just has the best eye for design, fixtures finishes and styles. He spent endless hours walking us thru custom cabinetry design, tile and fixtures selections. They also had great vendor relationships which saved us some money on items such as our cabinets.

We are now moving back in to a practically brand new home, all in just over 4 months.

The results are beautiful and we feel confident that they have our back if we ever need them for questions concerns or repairs.

We will gladly recommend them, and have actually already introduced them to our neighbor.

Don't start your project without AT LEAST consulting with them first!

We have a house built in 1968 in Lincolnwood that we purchased almost 3 years ago which had extensive work done shortly after the purchase. At that time, we hired a specialist for each job and while they were OK, we really wanted to find a contractor we could trust who could do everything, so we can call whenever we have an improvement project. So when we needed several projects done this time, which included a complete kitchen renovation, taking down a large supoorting wall and the existing the existing bay window and installing new windows as well as roof repair, popcorn ceiling removals and painting.

While Dynasty was not the lowest bidder (not the most expensive either by any means), when we met Marcello, we knew we wanted to go with them. He was on time, extremely friendly, and took time listening to our needs. He made sure he had all the details he needed to give us an accurate quote. There was no comparison to other contractors we saw. Some of them made us feel like grade schoolers. After all, we are choosing the people who will be in and out of our home so we were looking for good, trustworthy people who would be there to try their best to accommodate our needs with integrity.

We are very happy with our decision to go with Marcello. They were reasonable and made sure their work was to our standard by checking the progress each step of the way and redoing things we did not even point out. And although every crew-member we met was great, Marcello really made the company in our opinion, and made the whole experience wonderful. He was always responsive by email, text, and call, always friendly, cheerful, and professional, and was even really great working around our work schedules! Since my husband and I are both busy pretty from early in the morning to late in the evening during the week, he took time to stop by on Saturdays several times to check in with us to make sure things are going as we wanted.

I'm happy to say there are still good guys out there! Work was completed in time, which is amazing on its own, but they were also nice enough to do more than what they promised without charging us. We can't say enough good things about this company, and we are sure to recommend them to our family and friends anytime they need anything done to their home. And we now have go-to guys for all future projects.

They were great to work with. They were able to provide an on-the-spot quote and were willing to negotiate a rate that worked for both parties in follow-up conversations. The workers were very professional. They showed up on time, even early one day. They were courteous, cleaned up after themselves each day, and did excellent work.

There was a section of the kitchen back splash that was giving them issues, they were willing to talk me through it, listen to my input, and come up with a solution that worked for us both. The finished product looks excellent. Their work is very visually pleasing and I'm certain it increased the value of our home.

For reference, we had a stainless steel kitchen back splash installed, a hole in our ceiling from a plumbing repair filled in and painted over, and some tile repairs on our fire place. I definitely would recommend them to others and plan on calling them for any future projects.

After years of wanting and waiting, we finally made the decision to fix up the old house.
After looking at 3 different companies we decided to go with Dynasty Innovations. I think the thing that put them over the top is Marcello was nice enough to bring me a coffee when he came by the first time. I can't guarantee everyone else will be so lucky though.
Like others have said before Marcello was easy to work with and we had great communication throughout the project be it texts, calls or personal visits.

Marcello and his guys showed up first with the new windows. They had our eight 1976 aluminum single-pane windows out and nice new ones installed in about 7 hours.

Next was the siding. Out with the old, deteriorating Masonite fiberboard and in with the new HardiePlank. Kevin and his team had it done in 3 days. The painting was finished up soon after. The painted the eaves, and all the doors - garage, front, and patio. Everything is finally one color now.

Cameron finished up the job making sure everything was back to normal. He re-attached all our electric and TV cables, outlets, dryer vent, and porch lights. He went the extra mile mortaring and touching up around our old rock chimney.

We couldn't be more pleased with the results. It is quieter now in our house. The barking neighborhood dogs are barely audible. We are hoping our electric bill decreases now that our home is more tightly sealed. If you are looking for siding or windows, I would highly recommend Marcello and his company.
