THE DONNA STORE HELPED THE CUSTOMER HIS POOL HAD SURFACE ISSUES BECAUSE OF HIS WATER CHEMISTRY WHICH IS NO FAULT OF OURS HIS POOL WAS OUT OF WARRANTY ALSO, BUT HE HAD CALLED AND SAID HOW FRUSTRATED HE WAS THAT HE COULD NOT GET THE SCALE OFF SO THE DONNA STORE WAS VERY GENEROUS TO THIS CUSTOMER THEY HELPED AND DRAINED THE POOL AND SANDED ALL OF HIS SCALE OFF WHICH TAKES ALLOT OF TIME THE BILL WAS OVER WHICH THE CUSTOMER SHOULD OF BEEN CHARGED BUT HE WAS NOTWE ARE SORRY THAT IT TOOK LONGER THAN HE FELT IT SHOULD BUT SCALE IS NOT EASY TO GET OFF AND HE WASNT EVEN BILLED FOR THE THIS WORK THAT THEY DID FOR THE CUSTOMER TO HELP HIM OUT THANKS PAT

Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because:Again, not true....I have an addendum signed by ***, hand written by [redacted] stating the concrete will have two colors.But again, the color of the terrible quality cement is the least of the problems (multiple)...I have a pool that was installed by Gary's Pool and ***io that is going to cause my home to flood and cause extreme damage to my home!!!!! I have listed the only three options that will rectify the problem of this pool installation I am not trying to be difficult I have tried multiple solutions to this ongoing disaster of work but I am out of options....if this pool is don't corrected and the work done to quality as promised and as my contract states there will be extensive damage done to my home Regards, [redacted] ***

Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: They did come out and install two drainage grates and connected them to an existing drainage pipe they discovered in the groundThe pipe had a cap on the end so it was removed and the new pipe was connected to itIt rained hard and the garaged flooded againI watch the rain in go into the grates but after a while the grates overflowed and water enter the garageThe existing pipe in the ground could have a cap on the other end so when it filled up with water it cause the floodI spoke to the person who installed the drain and she said she will come back and disconnect the new pipes from the old pipe and conect to a new pipe that will drain into my ally wayShe also told me that [redacted] will be coming out to repair the cracks in the walkway around the poolIts bben about a week since I spoke to her so I dont know whats going on Regards, [redacted]

WE ARE CHECKING ON THE CUSTOMERS COMPLAINT IT SEEMS THE FILE THEY WERE LOOKING AT WAS FOR A CUSTOMER THAT WAS OVER YEARS OLD WE DID HAVE SOME ONE THAT WAS NEW ANDHE DID NOT UNDERSTAND THE PROCESSI SPOKE WITH VIKING THEY ARE WAITING ON A FORM TO BE FILLED OUT SO THAT THEY CAN PROCESS THE REQUEST WE WILL FILL IT OUT TODAY FOR THE CUSTOMER THEY HAVE THE PICTURES ALREADY THAT ARE NEEDEDTHEY WERE CORRECT TO PUT THE PART EPOXY SO THAT THE LEAK WOULD STOPTHERE HAS BEEN QUITE A BIT OF GROUND MOVEMENT DUE TO THE WEATHERIT IS ALSO ADVISABLE NOT TO DRAIN A POOL TILL IT DRIES OUT SO THAT WE DO NOT HAVE UNDER GROUND WATERI SPOKE WITH VIKING AND THEY WILL GET WITH THE CUSTOMER AFTER THEY RECEIVE THE FORMS TODAY TO SEE WHEN THEY CAN SET UP FOR SOME ONE TO GO OUT WE WILL ALSO CONTACT THE CUSTOMER TO GO OVER THIS .THANKS ***

I DID MEET WITH THE CUSTOMERS THEY TURNED IN THERE PAPERWORK AND WE SET UP FOR GUYS TO GO OUT TO THERE HOME I BELIEVE MRS [redacted] WAS THERE THEY SANDED THE AREAS THAT WERE SHOWN TO US THEY THOUGHT THEY WERE SCRATCHES BUT IT WAS SOMETHING TOPICAL I HAVE NEVER RECEIVED A CALL MYSELF THAT THERE WERE STILL SOME SPOTS THAT THEY MISSEDI KNOW WHEN THE POOL WAS BEING BUILT THERE WAS SAND AT THE JOB TO BACKFILL IN THE HOLE AND THEN WE HAD THE 7" OF RAIN AND THEY DID HAVE SOME SAND THAT WASHED AWAY THIS WAS AN ACT OF GOD AND BEYOND OUR CONTROL WE WILL WRITE A SERVICE ORDER AND GO BACK OUT TO SEE ABOUT THE SPOTS THANKS PAT

I WILL CHECK WITH THE OWNER BECAUSE WE GAVE THE CUSTOMER THE SOLID ROLL ON COLOR BUT KNOW THE CUSTOMER IS WANTING A TONE WHICH IS NORMALLY MORE MONEY SO I WILL NEED TO GET AN APPROVALTHANKS ***

THE CUSTOMER SIGNED A CONTRACT ON 7-14-WE GAVE THE COPING AND DECK IT STATES ON THE CONTRACT ITS A FREE DECK PROGRAMTHE CUSTOMER HAD A SIGNED CONTRACT WITH A DECKING SUB AT DESIGN CONCRETE THEY WOULD BE THE ONE TO COME OUT AND MEET WITH THE CUSTOMER SINCE THEY PUT IT INWE WILL CONTACT THE CUSTOMER TO GET HER THAT INFORMATIONTHANKS ***

WE ARE SORRY FOR HER DELAYS BUT WE HAVE BEEN WAITING FOR THE CITY TO CLEAR THE BOND INSPECTION WE COULD NOT PROCEED TILL THAT WAS DONE. TODAY WE GOT WORD FROM THE CITY THAT IT HAD PASSED. THE REPAIR HAD BEEN DONE SO HE WENT OUT AND SAW THAT THE NEW SWITCH HAD BEEN INSTALLED AND THAT IT WAS WORKING THE OTHER SWITCH WAS NEW IT JUST MALFUNCTIONED HE ALSO SET UP A CLEANING OF THE POOL TODAY AND THE CUSTOMER SET UP HIS POOL SCHOOL WITH THE HUSBAND ON DEC.5 . [redacted] DID SPEAK WITH THE CUSTOMER AND GAVE THE CUSTOMER 1300.00 WHICH WAS HER LAST PAYMENT DUE HE ALSO GAVE THEM A SMALL WATER FEATURE AT N/C WE DO FEEL THAT THIS SHOWS THAT WE HAVE COMPENSATED THE CUSTOMER FOR HER DELAYS . THE CUSTOMER WILL BE SEEING ALLOT MORE PROGRESS NOW THAT THE CITY HAS CLEARED US TO MOVE FORWARD. THANKS ***

I am rejecting this response because: I am shocked by Gary's Pools and ***ios lack of professionalism.We are still waiting on the Refund check for the "free" pool decking This deceptive sales practice is a disgrace! It's not "free" decking, the customer most assuredly pays for it! Our contract allocated $2,for a three foot concrete deck surrounding the poolThis is the minimum required by the Viking pool brand Gary's pools and ***ios employees repeatedly communicated to us that they would be locating a concrete contractor for our project See attached text messages from the area manager to that regard Due to Gary's pools lack of communication and broken promises, we have had to secure our own concrete contractorThey work weeks out on the scheduleI could have had this portion of the project scheduled months ago if Gary's Pools and ***ios employees had been honest in letting me know they would not be doing it and I need to Additionally, we have received four bids on the work, all are DOUBLE the allotment Gary's had set aside Once again, we are having to pay above and beyond what we were told was a TOTAL cost for the project The company owner, who sold us the pool was well aware of this discrepancy, as we have been told by multiple concrete contractors that they will not work with Gary's pools and ***ios due to the low price they are willing to offer for the work and the fact that Gary's Pools and ***ios owes some of the contractors money.Additionally, the response from the company did not address our concerns regarding use of sand as the foundation for the pool, when the Viking instructions clearly say Gravel should be used in situations when the ground is clay They inferior work is absolutely unacceptable and we antici***e we will have problems with the pool settling due to Gary's Pools and ***ios not following manufacturer installation recommendations We will be notifying Gary's Pools and ***io's today of the concrete contractor we have selected, as per the details on the contractWe are grateful that this contractor was willing to take on the project of finishing the horrible job done by Gary's Pools and ***ios Additionally, in discussions with the concrete contractor, we have discovered that the city required work permit was issued on April 5th, over a month AFTER pool construction began on February 28thOnce againterrible business practices.We expect to receive the check for the $1,we are owed for the "free" (yet you really pay for it) decking THIS week! The excuses are getting old The owner had promised the check to us via overnight delivery to be received a week ago Once againwe feel mislead

I am rejecting this response because: They cannot just assume and say this was from ground movement and I see this as a setup to push the responsibility on meWe have not had any water sitting or puddling around the poolThey have not inspected the ground and do not know that this is what caused this and I know Viking will not cover the repair if it happened because of this reasonGary's Pools was advised of our concerns about the workmanship on the backfilling among other things during the installI do not want this complaint closed until this has been fully resolvedI know how slow they are to finish anything and always have many excuses for the delays.

I have always attempted to work with and find a resolution to the continued mistakes Gary's Pool and Spa has created at my home. I have repeatedly call, text, and emailed with my concerns and complaints but never did I stop the work that was paid for to be done.....I did request that it be done correctly, which to this day it has not been done correctly.The main issue and biggest problem is that with the pool being installed incorrectly and at the wrong elevation my home is at great risk and will be caused significant damage when there is rain. My home will flood if the pool is left as it is.I have attempted to express this for months and nothing will be done to correct this matter.*** did include several extra feet in concrete to attempt to make up for the huge disaster that has occurred during the past months of this project....a project that was suppose to take weeks.

I am rejecting this response because:If the workers would have finished the job that day (i.e., setting the pool properly), the rain would not have mattered. And although I am glad to hear that the repair is strong (although I have my doubts about that after watching him repair it), the repair looks horrible and sticks out like a sore thumb. Although I realize that you are using the "Act of God" excuse because I'm sure that is in your contract, I am asking you as a good faith gesture to waive my last payment of $for all we have been through

WE VISITED THE SITE AND AGREED TO REDO HIS ACRYLIC DECK COAT THAT HAD SOME SCRATCHES FROM THE FURNITURE, THE OWNER HAD ALSO AGREED TO DO OTHER SMALL ITEMS THAT THE CUSTOMER WANTED DONETHANKS ***

THE WEATHER CAUSED ALLOT OF DELAYS AND GROUND MOVEMENT WE ARE HOPING TO HAVE IT FINISHED FOR THE CUSTOMER ON FRIDAY AND THE INSTALLATION CREW WILL CHECK THE JOB ON SATURDAY SO THEY CAN GO FORWARD WITH THERE CONCRETE SUB AND GET IT FINISHEDWE HAVE ALREADY GIVEN THE CUSTOMER THERE MONEY
ON THE FREE DECK PROGRAM SO THEY CAN USE THERE GUY THAT IS DOING SOME OTHER WORK AT THERE PROPERTYTHANKS ***

The owner has contacted the customers deck contractor and he will be meeting with the customer Thanks ***

WE HAVE BEEN WAITING ON THE CUSTOMERS AOC THAT ACTIVATES THERE WARRANTY *** HAD SPOKEN TO THE HUSBAND AND WAS TOLD THEY WOULD GET IT TO US THE POOL WAS CLEANED MANY TIMES WE EVEN TOOK PICTURES TO SHOW HOW NOTHING WAS IN THE POOL IT WAS CRYSTAL CLEAR BUT THEY DO HAVE DOGS THAT SWIM EVERY DAY THAT
BRINGS IN THE SAND AND DIRT WE HAVE NO CONTROL OF THIS THE DOGS LOVE HE POOLTHIS WILL KEEP HAPPENING UNTIL THE CUSTOMER GETS IN THERE GRASS FOR THE BACK YARD WE WOULD BE HAPPY TO MEET WITH THE CUSTOMER AGAIN AT THE JOB SITE THANKS ***
